i had a great time today, god it is a long drive..... but i am sooo glad i did it.i think getting out and catching up with humans older than 1 was just what this little chook needed.thanks for great conversation and company girls.
kristie,i am glad that micheal thought about you today and bought you flowers, his ears must have been burning today.hehehe!
tracey,i thought it was just great to see jordans personality break loose today.he has alwys seemed so much younger as he is usually quite placid and content and today he made sure we all knew he was there...WELL DONE JORDY!!!!!i just got a great kick out of seeing him walk also.when would you like to go to the play center, how about we wait till racheal can come also.
racheal,if you can make it let us know,we will go to play days in deer park, tis good and will be good chance to see you and milo again.

nikki- als ideal life would be him home as house hubby and me out working. we will look at if its possible to do once charlotte is about toris age. i can easily get work that would pay about the same as he is on now and still be available on the weekends.

im off to bed!! speak tomorrow

Sorry guys I do read everything but its hard trying to keep up sometimes.

Don't wait for me to go to the playcentre cos I work FT and have to wag work to go, or take a day off, which I don't mind every now and then but we've had lots of appts lately, so I won't be able to do anything before mid June

It seems like ages away too. *sigh*

Kristie - i just got off the phone from my old boss and he hasa laser and can do it and is saying he will do it for you coz your my friend but says not to worry about it at all at this stage, give it till he is about 2 and then have him look at it (he is just on stud road) and if its causing problems he will do it but otherwise most of the time they grow out of it! He says just to keep it clean and teach him to rinse his mouth with water when you brush his teeth and it shouldnt cause an y problems at all. Pain wise iwth the laser there is none and no bleeding either coz it is cautirised sp? when it is cut.
    What did your doctor say?

Nikki - you dag, you poor thing havingto get up to harry anyway!
I got harrya present today, a sign for his bedroom door, his wasthe only name they had that i knew a kid of! Its very cute and boyish!
Can i just say that i am glad i can make you feel special but thats not what im doing, im just telling you like it is and you area very special and caring person and we areall lucky to have a friend like you!

Well, i went shopping with mum again today and it was dangerous again. i spent money i didnt really have to spend but hey thats life! i got tori a new bike and a bookshelf for her room! all bargains of course.

oh how spoilt is harry.....thanks aunty cindy!
all is good here.we are fine now,i am just to sensitive and fragile at the moment i think, also af arrived today so maybe that has contributed to my moods.grant had been so patient.we actually had a lovely night last night,we both had a couple of drinks out the back under the patio heater and had a good old catch up.was really good, and then i woke up this morning and realised that i slept from 9.30 till 6.30,was wonderind what had happened to my babies, grant got up to them all night and let me sleep.i feel mean now.
he has also decided to take the day off today.i am very happy about that.he has just gone to basketball with the boys and then we will spend the day potting around outside again as it is going to be a georgous day.
i am going to see if i can find a good cubby house on ebay today for the to little munchkins, hoping to find a fort style with slide etc.
    have a great weekend everyone

Nikki - Great to hear things are going a lot better with you and Grant. Yay on Grant finally pitching in...

Kristie - Benjamin has fallen twice and split the skin that connects the top lip to the top gum, and I know since doing it, even though it's healed over, he's still very touchy when we brush his teeth. We got told not to bother with the doctors, because it will just heal on it's own, and they can't do nothing about it.

Cindy - I think from time to time, we all spend money we don't have. There's always something shouting, "Buy Me!"

Missy - I hope everything is still settling in pg wise?

    Tracey - How are you?

It's wet here this morning and the little guy is not too well. Got a bad cold and was sent home from daycare yesterday arvo with a temp of 38.9 degrees. they didn't tell me over the phone that he had diaorrhea too, or that a little boy had given him a shove and he had hit his head. We've been told that Benjamin has become a little rough at daycare. Last friday he had been taking bikes out from underneath other kids and riding off. Tuesday it was that he was hitting and slapping other kids, and Wednesday at swimming I caught his hand just before he hit one of the girls in his swim class. I told him that it wasn't very nice and to keep his hands to himself. I suppose the kid yesterday thought it was payback time. What can you do to curb this hitting thing?

    Hi!

Poor Louis woke up with Croup last night! Not too bad luckily - we just put the vaporiser on and he was ok...I'm a bit worried about tonight though because it always seems to get worse the second night. I've got some medication in the fridge anyway...
We went out for dinner for our anniversary which was really nice! The food was sooo good and I had a glass of wine - I was so hungry it went straight to my head which was good -LOL!
Dyland took a bottle of ebm which is great - his first one! At least I know he can have one now. He had that at 7.30pm then woke at 1am for a feed and then just before 6am! Can't complain with that! So if Michael gave him a bottle at 1am I would have had a really solid sleep (like you Nikki! You must feel fantastic after such a big sleep!)
Anyway, I had my massage this morning which was really nice and I've got everyone coming around tonight to celebrate my b'day. We're just getting pizzas and I bought white choc mudcake from the cheesecake shop - yum!!! I'm so dodgy - I'm even bought plastic plates and cups so I don't have to do dishes!! Hehehehe.

Nikki - Bugger about him not getting up the other night - it makes is so much worse when your expecting it. Thats great you had a good night last night though and such a big sleep! You deserve it!!! Enjoy your weekend (and sunshine!) Happy ebaying!

Cindy - Wow - thanks Cindy! My dr I had no faith in - he really sounded like he didn't know what he was talking about! I shall definitely go and see your boss later in the year! Thanks so much for finding out for me. I asked my dr about going to the dentist and he said no they don't do it! My dr also said not to worry about it but I'd like to get it done just because. I'd hate him to want to do it later when he can remember or if it causes problems first iywkim.
Yeah at shopping - you're sounding worse than me! LOL! That will be great going back to work and great your looking forward to it!

OK - better get Louis down for a sleep! Hope your all having a marvellous weekend!

Krisite i hope you have a nice night tonight for your bday and you dont have to clean up too much. Hope Louis feels better soon also. Glad your dinner went well for your anniversary.
Cindy LOL at spending money you dont have. I am planning on doing that tomorrow but all on ME. Its a girls right to shop
Nikki glad things are sorted with Grant and hope you have a nice arvo together tomorrow. How nice to get a solid night sleep as well, thats great.
Melissa We are having issues with hitting aswell. I just tell him no and make him kiss whoever better. SOmetimes it works and others not. It sppears to be a phase they are all going thru so I wouldnt worry to much.
Missy where are you in the TWW? Hope everything is going well.

Well Got home from work and DH and Jordan were out so got some housework done. went to a clothing sale at moonee valley on the way home from work, what a waste of time. It was so crappy. Off to target i think tomorrow for some jeans and some tops. I am over looking like a frump. I really need to get with the program. I say this all the time but I think I really need to act on it now as I am feeling old and disgusting.
I have also created a new web site for Jordan please feel free to check it out.

hope you are having a nice weekend everyone.

I think the hitting is definately a phase forthem all now, atleast i hope its a phase and we arent all just bringing up little thugs!

Tracey - i think you will appreciate this - my daughter who is obsessed with shoes has just been watching her barney dvd and every time there was a shot of the kids dancing she was yelling shoes!!!! My gosh what am i in for when she is older!???

Kristie - sounds like your night was a success last night! Good to hear. How did your boobs handle dylan having two bottles?

Nikki - sounds like yours was too!
It must have been so nice to sleep through for a change, you too kristie!

Well i had a good day today, i had 4 kids today (my niece shae and my friends son luke) and they had an absolute ball running around outside all day. I just love this weather!
I also took charlotte to the osteopath today and she has been so much more settled since! Aparently one of her ribs was a bit out which accounts for her not feeding as well on one side!

I'm, thinking of having a bbq on the long weekend, either the sunday or monday does that work for people? Or did you want to claim that weekend for your place nikki?

Also should i see if kim wants to come on thursday nikki?
    Well ,its

    Hi!

Had a great b'day dinner! Was glad that everyone was gone by about 10pm though! LOL! I had a pretty good nights sleep and then dh let me get an extra 2 hours sleep in this morning which was great!
Louis is doing well with the croup side of things - it doesn't seem to have developed, but he's got a rotten cold! So we will see how the week progresses and hopefully he's better by Thursday to head over to your place, Nikki! He should be right by then I imagine but I won't risk getting your lot sick!

Melissa - Sorry I seem to have missed your post!! Poor little Benjamin - sounds like he's in the wars at the moment! I hope he's better soon!
With the hitting - Louis went through this a while ago - I told him eachtime "we don't hit" or smack or whatever and took him to time out at the back door for about 30sec/1min or thereabouts. So I walked away. If he walks back I just take him back there and it starts again. He did really well with it and most of the time stayed there. Then I go back and make him say sorry and we have a cuddle - then it's all forgotten and we got back to playing happily. This lasted about 1month or so before it seemed to sink in. In the end if he'd hit - i'd say - we don't hit - and he took himself to the back door crying. It was very hard not too laugh. Even now I still do the time out thing but I'm lucky to do it once a week as he just really doesn't do it anymore unless he's really tired and grumpy.

Tracey - Have fun shopping!!! You are not a frump!!! I think your gorgeous! Plus it's winter - it's the time for trackies in my opinion - LOL! I much prefer summer shopping - it's so much more fun! Plus - I like new clothes but I don't really need to get dressed up at the moment - dressed up for me is jeans! hehehe.

Cindy - Dylan only had the one bottle at 7.30 so I was fine. I expressed when I got home but didn't get much out anyway - couldn't seem to get a let down. Yesterday I expressed a bit just to get rid of the excess so now I've got 2 125ml bottles in the fridge. I think from now on I'll have to do 150ml bottles anyway just to be on the safe side! He's such a greedy guts! hehehe. Next weekend Michael will do an early am feed so hopefully I can get a good nights sleep!
Wow what mayhem at your house!! You cope so well looking after all the kids! I'm a bit of a stress head I think. hehe.
The osteopath sounds great - I would like to take Dylan since he's such grumpy bum with his feeds - where abouts did you go?? Do you need a referral?

Nikki - Sounds like you're having a great weekend!

With a bbq on the long weekend - I've got a baby shower on the Sat but could make Sunday arvo (photos at myer in the morning) or Monday....

    Gotta go!
