We went to the local kinders today to see about enrolling for 3 yr old kinder, looks as though I left it too late to decide I wanted to send him. I am going to a few more tomorrow after playgroup to see if they have vacancies but I am not holding my breath. I wish I had of got motivated earlier.
Krisite SOrry to hear about your uncle and I am glad you were able to be as strong as you were. Glad the boys are asleep for you though so you can rest after a late and hard night.
Nikki HUGS DARLING I am sorry things are so rough for you at the moment. A catch up is well in order with lots of coke and chocolate I am thinking. Please come over or I will stop in if you need some ears to listen to anything.
I have just registered to deliver catalogues/newspapers in my area. the extra cash would be nice and also the exercise is much needed. It will give me an excuse to get out of the house with the pram or if bad weather I can leave them with my parents and do it myself. I hope they have something avail which is close by.

Tracey - Bugger about kinder...I just put Louis' name down at our new local kinder yesterday! She said they were nearly full but should have a place left - I hope so! Good luck finding a kinder!
Good for you delivering the newspapers/catalogues! Can I ask if it's any good pay? I always heard from people it wasn't really worth it but if you think of it in terms of getting fresh air and exercise then I guess the money's a bonus!!

Friday the 25th is when settlement is meant to happen but that just basically means picking up the keys any time after friday so i should be free! WIll be moving the following week though.
We might be going away the sat night as i am doing a party in Fish Creek (not far from wilson prom) so we thought we would make it a family get away at the same time!
On that note - Al quit his job today - he is starting at Subaru (again) mid august! I cant believe his timing really - like we dont have enough to think about and now we buy a house and he is atarting up a new job which means not much money coming in for a few months! Its lucky we are getting good tax refunds this year and have savings or we would be stuffed! Boys boys boys
I have no ideas of where to catch up, i am hopeless with that although kristie i have found somewhere for us to take our munchkins in berwick - great park! Went there today.
maybe we can meet at a play centre somewhere kind of central?

Yeah at a great park in Berwick...there looks like a really good one in narre sth as well...and I'm dying to try out the playcentres in fountain gate...Have you been to any yet?? I think it's lollipops that looks really good - well, the website does anyway! hehe.
With regards to meet up next week though...my house is prob too small to accommodate everyone but I think it would be nice to meet up at someones house maybe if we all want to get in a good gasbag...sometimes it's harder when we're out and about to watch the kids and have a good chat iywkim? Anyway...just a thought...

My place isnt much bigger than your Kristie but I am more than happy to have everyone over if they want to travel that far - we could go down to the playground at the end of our street!
It is great for the little ones- nothing high and only a 30 second walk from our place - we basically live there!

Well todays playgroup was good. Jordan had a good play and then my dad came for a visit and wore him out more, he went for a sleep about 3. Liam has just gone down for a sleep also so a few moments of ME time again Yeah.
Cindy WOW at Al leaving his job. I remember when Jamie came home and told me he had quit without discussion. I was nervous but it all worked out. I am sure you will do fine.
Someone has to decide where we are meeting I am terrible at making decisions so will leave it to someone else.

i will be away,i hope you all get to have a great catch up.thankyou for your kind words.harry had his immunisation yesterday and did well,actually i gave it to him,LOL that is only the second child immunisation i have done.he was rewarded with a chup a chub.i took a personal day off work today.i actually had a lovely day.i had my hair cut and coloured and then went shopping all by myself.I really needed it and feel alot better today,i really do hope this week away will help me and grant rekindle our lost love cos it is at crisis point,not his fault.4 kids and no family to ever offer help or time out for us has taken its toll on our relaitionship.i beleive that you need to refual the fire to keep it alive and unfortunantly our fire died long ago.it has proven to be an impossible task to even find any kindling to try and even get a spark happening.maybe the cold snow will help me to WANT to light a fire.

Ive been trying to think of the right thing to say for the last couple of days, but I dont know what it is. I kinda have some idea of what you mean though, unfortuntely for me.

Actually, I will most likely be home on Friday.
I'm getting a painter in Thursday and Friday next week and am planning to be home one of those days, with DH being here the other, so hopefully its friday.
I cant travel very far though, at least not in the a.m., it will depend what time the painter is done (its a friends DH), and what time the RE come parading through the house.
I've spent the last 90 minutes scraping pain from the roof. She sms'd me and said "the more you strip, the cheaper it gets!" LOL

All well here with the kids...my uncle is expected to pass away over the weekend...had to be taken to hospital last night after having a funny turn thing...so so sad...I worry how it will affect my dad as he's his last close relative...he has another brother and half brother but one lives in qld and has cancer also and the other is up in corryong and is not all that healthy either after spending his life as an alcoholic...
Anyway...
Nikki - Wow at giving Harry his immunisations! Glad he coped well! Good for you having a day for yourself!!! I really hope your time away goes well and you can get some things sorted out...big hugs!

Spanner in the works - looks like i cant catch up friday - we are having our final inspection of the house before settlement on wedneday and then settlement will be friday but the solicitors are telling me to make sure i am free so i can come grab the keys friday once the money has all been exchanged etc as the RE agent is going on holidays and my solicitor would rather we dealt with it all with the person who sold us the place etc which is fair enough but a pain coz a cant catch up with you girls!
Sorry! And then the next week we are moving and past that i cant think!!
Nikki- i hope you surprise yourself and have a great time on the skii trip! Dont put pressure on yourself to rekindle something though - just try to go with the flow...... Will be thinking of you!

Well today has been a non sleep day for Jordan but it has been ok so far. He has been playing in cubby, playing cars and watching tele. He has only had the 1 TT accident today which is good. He has however reverted back to the potty. It is working ok though as he is taking himself which is good instead of us always taking him. He stands to wee though so I have to move the potty into the flow..... LOL needles to say I have to mop the toilet floor a fair bit.
Liam has been really good. He is enjoying his awake time more now and getting more aware of whats around him. I forget how quick they grow up and become more alert.
What to have for tea???????? I hate deciding.

im glad i wont miss the catch up.
well i am almost packed a few last minute things and then a big clean in the morning,we cant check in till 3.30 so we will leave at about 11am.that way the little ones will sleep for about 1-2 hours of the journey,it will take about 4-5 hours to get there.
my boss called me in for a meeting yesterday,they were concerened about the lack of interest i was showing in my job and a few other little things,i couldnt stop crying,i felt so stupid and usless that they werent happy with me,i explained that i have had personal issues and i guess that it has effected my working life also.i will hold my head high and try to do better whn i get back but i felt very embarrased.

We had a super nice day today - both the boys had a sleep and I actually chilled out reading a magazine! I can't remember the last time that happened through the day...Although Louis woke up after an hour I sat him on the couch he fell straight back asleep...I think he may have been sleepwalking??? Maybe..he was really out of it...Had a big read of books after they both woke up and put some music on and had a play with the instruments and got the bikes out etc...
Cindy - How exciting having settlement only a week away! Woohoo!!! It will be so nice to get into your new house! I can't wait to come and visit!!! I think when we do organise a get together it should be at your new place for sure (when your ready for us! LOL!)
Tracey - They do grow so quickly don't they? Awww...I can't wait to have a bit cuddle with him...
Glad Jordan's having a good day without a sleep...

bought a car today,black prado,2004 model wth sunroof,it has 50,000 km on the clock and new tyres and 12 months reg.got it for 35k from mooroolbark,will pick it up next week.now to sell mine.talk to you all next fri/sat.

ok ladies i need some serious help in the TT department. Today we had 4 accidents and I am getting really frustrated with Jordan over it.
We have been trying to TT him since march so I think we have gone too far to stop now and go back to nappies. We have been toilet timing I think, taking him every hour or so and that works ok however if we dont pro actvly take him and ask if he needs to go he will say no and then he will wet himself.
He sometimes doesnt even tell us he has wet himself and walks around in wet pants......SO frustrating.
What can I do to help him and me thru this trying time. I really dont know what more I can do other than set a timer to remind myself to take him to the toilet as with Liam I am getting distracted and forget to take him.

Tracey, I remember Louis going through a time like that, we're he seemed to have a whole lot of accidents and just didn't seem to be bothered going to the toilet himself...It can be frustrating but I'm sure it's just a stage...once he got through that he was better than ever...he very very rarely has an accident now and always tells us...I think it corresponded with a time too where he seemed to do little wees all the time whereas now he can go a good couple of hours or so without going...just depends on how much he's had to drink! So I don't really have any ideas just keep persisting and hopefully it will stop...might be worth trying to put the emphasis on him telling you though...just let him know to tell you when he needs to go - maybe he's relying on you taking him???

We had a nice day out today...Michael and Louis caught the train which he loved and then went and saw Kung fu panda...the kids did really well considering they had to sit there for the whole movie! I was a bit worried Louis would find it a bit scary but seems ok...he's loving ice age etc and thats got scary parts...They both had big arvo sleeps so I had a bit of trouble getting them to bed tonight but all seems quiet now...
I don't know if I wrote already but Michael and his Dad inspected our new house yesterday and it all looks good! They got up in the roof etc and no sign of termites or anything yuck...a couple of minor fix ups on one of the window sills and one part of the guttering and it's all good! So thats a bit of a relief...we're just waiting on all the papers for our loan to be ok'd this week then I can really relax...LOL.

Tracey, not sure. Do you think its different since you've had Liam (as in it may be related)? I do know its not uncommon. My cousin's fully TT 3 year old girl still takes her pants off and wees on the floor, even Milo does it sometimes.
Kristie, sounds like you had a good weekend. Yay on the house being all good. I never would have thought to lookin the roof. wow.
We had a good weekend. I took Milo to a birthday party on Saturday and he was really good. Then today Neil took him out for lunch. I spent the day gardening, weeding, and a $200+ trip to bunnings later I now have the new plants and tools for the garden that I need. Well, for the front garden anyway.
I bought some plants for under out bedroom window, where theres a dead shrub I need to dig out, but I found a better place for them, and now I think I'll need to get some more!
Better go, I'm about to have another go at scraping the laundry roof. I want to get as much paint off as I can to reduce the costs when the painter comes. Its my friends DH so I know this will happen. :)

Nothing much from us...just chilled out at home today...kids are good... I'm all sooky la with them at the moment...I think since we have the house stuff under control I've been able to relax a bit and just enjoy them and it's been really nice...I've been getting big cuddles from them both and been able to play and read books...
I'm completely mad but I'm going to head to the target sale on Thur am...just at ringwood it's open at midnight...I so have no brain but I just won't make it the next day and I dont' want to miss out on anything...
Anyway...off to bed soon...I'm tired for some reason...

We are doing our final inspection on our place wednesday morning so we are taking the measuring tape and measuring for cafe blinds ( we have about $1000 worth of them on lay buy coz kmart had them half price but we werent sure what measurents to get so got 3 of each length) and also the lounge room wall coz i have fallen in love with a wall unit but i need to know its going to fit before we spend the way to much which is on the price tag for it!
I cant wait to see the house without all the crap in it!
I got a message from nikki today with a pic of the view they have at the snow and it looks amazing! I'm not sure if she sent it to everyone but if not and you want to see it let me know and i will text it to you!

New house update - progress is as it was last week, roof tiles are all done and up to bricklaying. I am soooo glad its been raining and this has been delayed, cos on Saturday I decided that I want offwhite mortar instead of natural/grey, after seeing the bricks with both at a large display.
So I made Neil ring the Site Supervisor first thing monday morning and ask if we can change it (this is after the sand has been delivered - they will need a different colour sand) and he rang back today and said its no problem! yay! :dance:
I had prepared myself for him to say no so I was really happy!
Been slowley de-cluttering here and investigating storage options. I'm trying to organise someone to steam or dry clean the carpets too. Im too scared to do that myself!
Milo has been really good, he has gone to bed without fuss for the past week (at night time, day time is as eventful as ever!) sot hat has been great.

Tracey - For a while there Benjamin decided to stop TT all together again after we were going great, but now he's picked it up full steam again. Hopefully Jordan will work out that feeling wet isn't exactly a nice thing and get a wriggle on again in the TT department.
Anyhow, I have had enough of doctors...The surgeons are putting me in to have surgery in the next few weeks to put a drain from that cyst to my stomach and to take out my perfectly good gall bladder that's got nothing wrong with it. Not impressed. Have been told, that I can't be operated on normally through keyhole because I'm a larger lady and that I will be cut open roughly the same size my cut was for Benjamin. We are talking in the vacinity of 15 - 30cms either across or length ways on my tummy :doh: She intends to leave lots of staple marks too. Then, on a good note...if all goes well and I heal well. The gyno is getting me in for a visit to the IVF place in Brisbane before the end of the year. This year is just not my year to stay out of the hospital is it :)

Melissa oh hun you certainly have had a rough trot this year. Hopefully next year will be better for you. I hope Jordan take up again with the TT he has been ok the last 2 days so heres hoping.
Rachel glad that your house is coming along well and that you were able to change without hassle. We are having probs with day sleeps here also. He is not sleeping each day, I chose the days I battle for the day sleep when I think he really needs it.

Well this morning i had my GF daughter over to play with Jordan she is same age aswell. They played really well together which was good. I thought he might want to sleep when she left about 1ish...OH NO. So i went to the shops to get some pepsi as we had NO softdrink ( shock horror ) But once we got home we had a bit of a fight but he ended up going to sleep. I now have half hour to myself before Liam isdue to feed.

Alex, Im not sure now, but yeh I think I might go tonight. I cant decide whether to get milo a trampoline or a play gym for the backyard at the new place.
This will only be quick and self serving, sorry! I'm in the middle of de-moulding the ceiling and planting things out the front, and some tree lopping... the photo man (for the RE) and the ant man came today, plus I've been to the bank talking about re-financing our car loan sot hings are a bit less tight. Phew! I cant wait til Neil gets home and I can relax..I am soo not cooking tonight.
Gotta go, need to do a drive by the new house, then get to bunnings before I pick up Milo from daycare. I hate him being there when I am at home, but the stuff I'm doing is too toxic, he really cant be around while its getting done.

Cindy I hope they fix the house up for you, I am sure they will. We didnt get the original kinder I wanted but this one is good, its in the next suburb over and its only 1 year old so everything is new.

So today Jordan had no sleep and was falling asleep in the bath.....LOL He ate beans on toast for tea as dinner wasnt ready and I knew he wouldnt last another 10 mins. He fell asleep eating them, he always falls asleep eating when he doesnt have a day sleep.
Jamie went to target in the city and laybyd all stuff for xmas, we are getting a mini trampline for Jordan i am sure he will love it. We also laybyd stuff for friends kids which will make it easier when xmas comes around. Jamie reminded me off Kristie....he bought more than we circled in the catalogue for the boys.... he couldnt help himself. :)

We've had a busy week! Just with the kids activities and then I went out for dinner with my school friends Tuesday night and last night went to the movies with Michael - we won free tickets! I've been sooo tired - I piked going to the toy sale last night as I couldn't keep my eyes open once we got home and it was only 9pm!! It killed me not to go but I really needed the sleep...
But - my friend Sharon from mothers group watched the boys for me today so I could go and it made me so glad I didn't stay up last night! It really wasnt that busy and it only took me 30min in layby so was good...I had lots of comments though at my full trolley as well as carrying Louis' new car seat...LOL! I've spent a fortune and Michael just knows not to ask how much I've spent...He knows I'm a shocker...I kind of feel a bit guilty but I'll get over it quickly! LOL!
Boys are well...they both had a sleep this afternoon so I had a nanna nap as well...I'm just soo tired...I don't really know why - I'm thinking my iron must be low but I'm taking a tablet each day for it...
I'm so in love with my little boys...we had big cuddles on the couch before they went to bed watching the end of "meet the robinsons" which was on foxtel...and they're just making me all sooky la at the moment...I had to laugh at Louis when I had them in the bath...he put this little squirty thing over his doody and goes "look mum - I've got a fanny"! hehehe. Then when they were splashing and being cheeky I go - what am I going to do with another one? and Louis says - "run away"....He's such a little comedian...I got the camera out at dinner cos Dylan had spaghetti everywhere and the bowl on his head and then go to take a photo of Louis and he pulls the funniest little faces at the last minute now - and then of course has to have a look how it turned out...
Anyway...enough of my blabbing on...
Cindy - LOL at already buying stuff for the house!!! I got the picture from Nikki as well -looks so nice! I hope she's having a good time! Got your tupperware specials in the mail - there's so much I want but I just can't afford it at the moment...grrrrr....

I can relate to your soft drink requirements! I'm having way too much at the moment..I'm sure it's just because I'm tired and looking for an energy boost though..I have to have a glass every night with dinner - it's like my glass of wine! LOL!

Ok, operation update...
I swear my life is all about hospitals at the moment. I'm really not happy being in them anymore.
Well, the end of August I'm going in for surgery for that pseudo cyst. They are going to drain it into the intestine which she said may take 2-4 weeks to do. They are going to stitch in place a drain for it. She also said that she is going to remove my gall bladder like it or not, as she doesn't want to open me up a 2nd time years down the track. There's nothing wrong with it now, but she feels that it has to come out. Anyhow, she's going to leave me a beautiful scar. She calls it a roof top cut. Where she will cut from rib edge to rib edge centering up to the sternum. 40+cms across. (sorry TMI) Not happy because I've now got to quit my last remaining job too. She said I will spend time in ICU but thinks I'll be out in a week. Yeah, with the emphasis on the week bit, hmmmm.
I'm sure this will put a stopper in the chances of actually starting IVF by the end of this year. but as long as everything else goes well, I'll be happy to go down that path when the time is right next year.

Just a really quick update from me
We are going away to venus bay tomorrow night i have a party down that way so we figured a break before the move might be a good idea! It was cheap too, im thinking a girls weekend away! was $100 for a 2 bedroom self contained cabbin...

ON the house - they have cleaners and stuff going in over the weekend - its settles today at 2.30 but i have to leav them a set of the keys and then by the time we get there on monday it SHOULD be all fixed up!
While we are away my mum and sister are going to come to our house and do some cleaning and packing for us! How wondeful is that....
OK, got to go get the house organised - got a friend coming over soon and its filthy coz i have been working all week and al has been home not getting much done at all other than shopping - he is such a girl

Well I really couldnt have asked for better kids today. I went into work to have lunch with friends at 12.30 then went to MILs for the rest of the arvo. Liam fed in the cafe and Jordan ate his lunch in the highchair. He was in undies and didnt have any accidents YEAH Liam slept like an angel at MIl and on the way home both boys sleep. They are now both fed and in bed. Oh I just love it when they both co operate and the day goes well.
Getting myself waxed downstairs on monday.A little nervous about my c section scar but my beautition is aware of it as has been doing it with prev scar so will just be extra careful. I cant stand being hairy downstairs anymore ( sorry TMI )
