That would be a rally short gestation! lol
Sorry, I do know what you meant, nope I cant I am sooo busy at work theres no way I could do it.
I will potentially have a couple of Tuesdays off in September but thats it at the moment :( Its weekends of public holidays only for me.
I have no idea how late. My Dr put me on a different pill, which is low estrogen, cos I am on cipramil. I have had issues where if I miss a pill and dont take it within 6 hours AF starts, so had about 3 incidences of that, its really been all over the place.
On Monday night my BBs were insanely itchy and I realised i probably hadnt taken it for maybe 2 days, and nothing had happened - this is why I did the HPT, cos that was my first symptom last time. But got a BFN. So eaither my body is all messed up from the pill and I'll wait for it to go back to normal, or its something more eciting.
Cindy I will grab double info for you so you can check it out. It would be great if we could study together, you can do all the work and I will copy LOL ( just kidding )
I spoke with a lady at playgroup today who is a midwife and I am not even more excited about the prospect of studying for it. I really want this so I hope that the hours are do able with work and kids etc.
Rach bummer you cant make it we will have to ensure the next one is on a day you have off. ALso hope you sort AF out.
So a little excited Jordan has gone down for a nap and Liam is still asleep. He was due for feed at 12 but still asleep so will let him go till atleast 1 so I can chill to myself for the 1st time in about 4 days.
take care everyone
tracey- that would be great if you could get me info too!!!
Oooooh how exciting both you girls wanting to do the same degree!!
I really hope both of you ladies get your wish!!
Rachael, So has AF turned up yet? I hate it when our bodies are messed up in that area and leaves us really wondering...Anyway..I hope it sorts itself out soon, for your sake luv!!
Kristie, I can't believe that the boys don't sleep at the same time more often!! My two seem to always overlap at least an hour all the time!! I must be one lucky mumma hey!!
Nikki, have you guys managed to look at the house near you yet? I've still been looking at houses everyday!
Well, Nick is out atm and the house is beautifully quiet so I am going to jump into bed with a pen and paper and work out our holiday itinary for QLD in Sept...can't wait!!
Have a lovely sleep everyone!
still no AF and still BFN.
will talk to DH tonight and see about officially TTCing.
Rach hope your TTC talk goes well. How strange no sign of AF yet and still BFN????
Alex have planning your qld holiday. When are you going away?
ok I need some advice ladies.
Liam has been a 4 hrly feeder during the day, he normally wakes an hour before he is due to eat, eats then plays for 1/2 hr to hour and then goes to bed. Recently when he is due for feed and grumpy when I try to feed him to screams and refuses the boobs.
He has done this the last 3 days now. I have settled him back to sleep without a feed but he is now 4.5 hrs since last feed.
DO you think he is starting to go loner between day feeds, poss 5 hrs now? He is a big boy so I am not concerned about him not getting enough however I though it was too early to extend out to 5 hrs?
You would think I should know being 2nd time around but I have forgotten.
I cant give any advice on this one tracey - you know im not one for routine AT ALL in my life - i always demand fed even when tori was still feeding at 15months! I couldnt have ever told you how long between feeds with either of them - same with sleeps etc too, not a good mum in that regard
Tracey, Milo started sleeping 4-5 hours stretches very early (Im talking day 3) at night and in the early morning. MCHN and LC told me not to wake him, to let him sleep.
He would cluster feed though from memory it would be something like 4am 7am, 11am, 2pm. 4pm, and then almost hourly til about 10/11 when he'd crash and sleep til
thanks girls. well he enentually took EBM at 3pm and then didnt eat again till 8pm. So lets see what he does overnight. This will mean he had 4 feeds for the day which is normal I guess but not spaced very evenly
I am getting so nervous and anxious about applying for uni. I cant wait to attend open day to see if the hours and days are at all do able with work aswell. I will be crushed if I cant do it. Oh well will have to wait and see.
Cant wait to watch opening ceremony
Hi!
We've just been chilling out here which is nice...boys have enjoyed me being a bit more calm and relaxed as well...Michael is home for the weekend which is a first for a looonnngg time so that should be good -hopefully he'll get the garage organised for packing...He's had a bad week at work though and is so grumpy that I think I'll pretty much stay out of his way anyway...he's so short and snappy sometimes I just have to walk away because I don't feel like I can handle it and I don't want to have silly arguments over stupid things of no importance...Anyway...
Oh so funny today - dylan was watching Diego and when they ask the questions he says "no" to everything..so cute! He has no idea what it means I'm sure but he just fills in the gaps with "no"....then again thats his favourite word at the moment thats for sure! He's such a terror - so cheeky! But he always makes me laugh with his little antics...
Cindy - Boxes would be great! Thanks! My dad dropped over a whole heaps last night but I'm sure Michael will use all those up just on the garage...
Yeah...I spoke to my sister and she doesn't thing they do small amounts of time either - more 1/2 to full days...I'm just going to have to drop everything next term - which won't hurt anyway as we're expecting Ethan and then just reevaluate next year...the only thing that will be a problem is gymbaroo as you can't have the other kids with you...Louis will be in 3yo kinder though so if I'm lucky maybe a time will coincide...swimming I drag them all along too and if he does the sports group thing you just watch them anyway so not a big deal that I have the boys with me...Anyway...I'm sure it will all work out!
Rachael - Seems strange that your getting a bfn and no af - maybe it's just all the stress of the house stuff...
Good luck with it all - hope you get a good offer over the weekend! I wouldn't sign up someone subject to sale of their house...it's just too unpredicable...
Bugger you can't make it next week!
Tracey - Wow - I'm so excited for you applying to uni - I hope you get in!!! I'll be nervous when the time comes too but I'm hoping that being full fee paying I should get in! LOL! They usually like people that pay but you never know...Have fun at the open days!
Glad you got some chill out time yesterday...
In regards to feeds etc I'm probably no help either...my boys have always been constant feeders and cat nappers so I was probably still feeding 5 maybe even 6 x a day still at that age...I don't think my boys have ever gone 5h between feeds/solids except for overnight - LOL!
Alex - the only reason they don't overlap more often is because most days Louis doesn't sleep at all! LOL! Then today Dylan was asleep before lunch until nearly 2pm and then I had to drive my mum somewhere and Louis fell asleep in the car so from about 2.30ish and then I woke him at 4.30pm! So messed up...LOL!
Ooh I'm so jealous your going on holiday! I started working out what it would cost for us to go to qld for a week next year and I came up with like $2500 just for flights, car hire and acc...Crazy!! We don't usually holiday so it sounds like so much money! I was thinking maybe it would be cheaper to drive but with fuel the way it is I'm not so sure...Hmmm don't know what to do really...I really want to go to the gold coast with the kids...If we drove we could drive straight up and then come back down via the nsw coast or something...There's nowhere really else that I'd want to go right now but by the time we add on spending money/food etc we'll be up near $4000!! just for a week! Crazy!
How are you guys doing it?
Nikki - how are you? How's the house stuff coming along? Are the kids well?
Can't wait to catch up next week! Hope you all enjoy your weekend!
kristie good to hear from you.
tracey i agree with cindy i have demand fed all of my kids, when they are hungry they will ask for it.
racheal i hope you can convince neil to ttc sometime soon.
tracey do you think you will be able to manage work and uni and 2 kids,it is very hard studying, the exams and huge amount of asignments does put alot of strain on you,any chance that jamie can hold the fort finacially while you study?
alex.nick is a great guy.thanks for coming tonight, jack is so much like his dad,and tobey was just adorable,he is so much like harry in nature.i loved his cuddles tonight.you look bloody hot too!im glad the canalonni was a success, let me know if you get food poisoning wont you.i forgot to give you the house book.
kristie it cost us about 5k each time we have gone to qld.
melissa.how are you my sweet.have been thiking of you.
i spent $1500 on my car today,4 new tyres and panel work on the front where i crashed into a trolley bay,oh well,it is ready for selling now.
Tracey - just a quick one for you - one option i have been looking at for midwifery is studying through UNISA = they do it part time and externally - they even work out for you where you can do your placements in your state - you have to go to campus 3 time a year for lab work but thats pretty much it - it is hard to get in to though- i am going to contact them again next week to see what i will need to do for it - the peson i have been talkoing to far about 18 months there said she usualy can get you in to nirsing externally etc and she makes sure you just do the subjects needed for midwifery and tried to get you accross to it as soon as a place comes up or you can do the double degree but you can choose how may subjects you do at a time - i think the minumum is 2 subject a semester! I will keep you in the loop for that one too
Just got home from a tupperware party and am sooo worn out from talking! It was a crappy party but looks like i might have 2 girls wanting to start up!
nikki- nicky has promised to come for you on wednesday!
ok so i went to VU open day and it was full on. They advised against doing the midwifery course if you had kids under 5 as it was a full on course, the lady was really nice but the hours are very demanding and its not offered part time. Nursing seemed ok however hours still intense although you could do the lectures online which would help with not being at school too much.
I did however speak to the TAFE dept about cert in nursing ( div 2 ) and think that this is the way to go for me. It is offered PT on mon-tues over 2 years and this way I can still work and be with family. So i am going to apply for that but still attend ACU open day next week and see about PT midwifery and nursing.
SO I am overwhemled with all this info and choices but feel as though TAFE may be the better option.
Hope you guys are enjoying the weekend.
XX
i did that couse through VU aswell,i found it all to be great,it wasnt that expensive either.from memory 4 years ago i payed about 4-5 hundred per term over two years.there are only two terms a year.if you do go there let me know and i will give you my assignments and books etc
nikki
Nikki its $877 for the course which is good even if i do it part time over the 2 years. If the books are the same i will gladly buy them off you. I will be doing it at sunbury if i get accpeted. I have to pass the pre test 1st, just brushing up on maths skills. I will pick your brains for assigments etc. I a, so excited i cant stop thinking about it.
as i said before the exam is pretty basic, mainly numerousy and english.they just want to work out who has basic skills so they are not wasting spaces for idiots.they also ask for an application letter explaining why you want to do nursing,i can help you with that too.the campus is beautiful and used to be a mental institution in the early 1900s,there has been sightings by several of the lecturers of girls dancing on the roofs in white nighties, there is a spooky yet magical presence in the campus, you will love it.lectures start at 9 till 4 but we never stayed that long, most teachers finish up at about 3ish.anatomy and physiology was my weekness,in fact it was the toughest subject for everyone,i managed to get through with mostly distinctions and high distinctions but did struggle in some areas.Calculations was hard but i am not good at maths.
i will be glad to give you any info
nikki
Nikki you are such a sweety I am sure I will need to call on you for assistance at some point. I have completed my paragraph on "why I want to do the course" I am just waiting on them to send me the application form etc and then I have to book in for that test. I am sure I will do fine ( positive thoughts).
I cant wait for out meet up this wednesday. I am going back to work in 3 weeks so want to make the most of being a full time SAHM for the last few weeks. I will still have wed, thurs and sundays off so wont be full time but I think I am looking forward to returning to get some ME time and some stimulation other than mickey mouse club house LOL
Hi!
We had a great day today! Did lots of fun things like playdoh and painting and reading stories...was so nice just to be chilled out with my boys - they both had a sleep at the same time!! woohoo! and both slept through last night for the first time in ages (or maybe ever??)
I needed to have a day like this as I spent most of yesterday in tears...so silly really but everything just seemed to catch up with me...and of course sometimes Michaels can just be completely frustrating to me which doesn't help when I'm already tired etc...Had a big chat with my mum though and managed to put a lot of stuff into perspective which was good...also chatted with Michael as well so feel like I'm back on track as such...
I'm sure most of it is just hormones...(hopefully!)
Nikki - urgh at having to spend all that fixing your car...I have to book mine in for a service this week or next or I swear it's going to break...it's way overdue...I'm dreading to think how much it's going to cost though...
Hmm...holidays cost soo much! We may just do something a bit more low key but all I know is that we all definitely need one! LOL!
Cindy - Ooh I hope you get someone sign up - that would be great!
Tracey - Thats great your getting all organised! How exciting!
Can't wait to see you all on Wednesday - I've been telling Louis and rattling off everyone that he'll see and he just keeps going on about you Cindy! LOL! He's got a crush on you I think! Hehehehe.
Are we bringing some lunch around?? What time are you all getting there??? I'll be heading over after kinder I think...
Finally i have finished the curtains and they look a touch dodgy but hey the sun wont be aking my girls up anymore!
My address my lovelies is 4 Avery Crt, if you are using satnav- it tells you wrong things - soooo you girls coming down the monash, go left off the Ernst ****e (eys thats ****e) Rd exit and continue left then take the next right (maramba) and then it is 2ns right and then 2nd left, 1st right and 1st right - there is not much parking space in the court but just park wherever, people will come tell us if you are in their way. there is a few grassy spots which everyone parks on! My house is the one with the sold sign still out front (watch they will come tomorrow and take it down!)
Kristie- sorry you are being all emotional, its not fun!
OK, i am off to bed, rather tired
have a dilemna.we originally put our block on the market for 163k hoping to get a miracle 150-160 tops, this morning grant and i spent a few hours with our draftsman finalising our house plans that we had intending staring in the next few weeks, well today we got an offer of 163k full asking price.now we dont know what to do,i mean that is one hell of an offer and means we would have made 40 k profit if we take it but leaves us still in a house that is not suitable for us.....
oh i dont know,i wish it would all take care of itself and i didnt have to make decisions that are too hard
nikki
Hi!
Nikki - Gosh - it's so hard to make these decisions...have you looked to see if there are any other suitable blocks that you may pick up for a bargain since you'd be making such a good profit on yours? I'm sure you'll come up with a plan...
Looking forward to catching up tomorrow! I'll bring some nibblies...I'll be there around 12pm ish...
i will bring some dip and bic and i too am looking forward to seeing you all too
Nikki - thats a great offer! I know what you mean bout the decisions though! What in particular is wrong with your place? I suppose you still need another room for corey dont you!
Well, i am getting the girls furniture in tonight and they will finally be in their own rooms which tori is very excited about!
oh, she just askedtogo to bed- i mut go while she is wanting it!
See you tomorrow! No stress on time! I will be here
Nikki I am not sure what I would do about the block. YOu obviously need a bigger house if you want the kids to all have their own rooms however the money you would make on the sale is great. I would search for other blocks in that area to see if you could snap another up and keep some change. Jordan hasnt stopped talking about you since I told him we were going out tomorrow. He is obsessed with your car, we even have a matchbox car that is Nikki CAR. LOL
Well boys are both in bed and Jamie has gone out for a while so I am chillin on net before heading to bed I think early one tonight. I cant help but watch the silly olympics and keeps me up way too late.
Cant wait to catch up with you all tomorrow.
Hey girls!!
I know this is super late but I have just got home from my mums ( i had a long chat to my brother about what he is going to do about his future etc..!)
I am just off to bed and just had to pop in here and say I will be there tommorow.. can't wait!! and i will bring some nibblies as well.. God knows I'll be starving!! hehehehe
Nikki, I'll talk to you about the block dilemma tommorow..
Night night... well what is left of it anyway!!
hope you guys are having fun :)
think of me suffering here at work.
oh, and neil said yes so hopefully some good news sometime soon.
Rach thats awesome news about TTC have fun with it :) Wish you could have made it, next time you will have to take a sick day ( so cheeky I know but well worth it )
Cindy thanks for letting us trash your house, it is a gorgeous house you have done really well. Took less time to get home, go figure......it really isnt that far only took an hour. I hope Charlotte had a nice sleep as she looked SO TIRED. Tori is just a spunk, she has real personality and OH SO CUTE wanting to give Jordan a kiss goodbye.
The boys were pretty good on the way home. Jordan talked non stop on the way home about playing in dora cubby, all the kids and jumping and the bike. Then he fell asleep on the westgate only for Liam to start screaming the entire rest of the way home.... He has now fed and is asleep. Jordan is also still asleep so bonus for me.
I had a lovely afternoon ladies, thanks for the company. The kids played really well together I thought, no real hassles.
Krisite you look gorgeous with your little bump and your boys are just gorgeous. They are so cute when they play together. I cant wait to meet little Ethan, I am sure he will be spitting image of the boys too.
Nikki well Chantelle is just gorgeous even if she insisted on being nude for a while, it was very cute. Harry is just so laid back he really is a gorgeous kid. I am glad you decided to sell block and make some money. I am sure you will pick up another bargain.
Alex Toby is gorgeous and I cant wait to meet Jack I am sure he is just as fun.
Well I am going to book my test for the course, it will be in sept so time to get my maths up to date. I am so excited I just want to apply and find out if I got in...... I really want to start NOW NOW NOW. I am sure when assignments are due though I will be staying NOT NOW NOW NOW :) Oh well
have a nice afternoon/night ladies. Hopefully the kids all will sleep for us having had such an active morning/afternoon.
XX

Rachael - Bugger you couldn't be there today! Woohoo on TTC!!!!! How exciting!!!
We had a fantastic day today! The boys slept all the way home and then Louis stayed asleep for ages - had to wake him at 4.30pm and Dylan had a bit of a nap and then was up again! Hopefully they sleep well tonight though!

WOW racheal, how exciting, how long did it take for you to get prg with milo?Has af arrived yet?
i actually was thinking of you today, you should have seen how many bluddy people were at her house she is a crazy woman.
Cindy you are a brave girl to ask so many ladies and children over.OMG how many were there at last count.
Sally i think that was her name was very quiet so i didnt get to have much conversation with her but her little baby girl was just adorable, she looked cold at one stage and i didnt know weather to say anything or not so i didnt cos i didnt want to offend but she seemed like a very relaxed and happy mum.
kim was lovely, she was so down to earth and i can see her fuitting right in if she chose to hang out with our daggy group again in the future.
it was good to see kim again and i truley hope she gets her little boy, please fill us in next tuesday.
kristie was so nice to see you again and as usual we didnt get much of a chat but i have to say i really miss you.

Tracey - I've woken up with sore muscles in my arm from holding Liam! LOL hehehehehehe. I can't believe it! How unfit am I?? hehe. He didn't even feel that heavy when I was holiding him as he was kind of resting on my tummy...
The boys are feral this morning...I have to do food shopping but I think I'll wait until after Dylan has a sleep...
OMG!! How much crazy fun was yesterday!!!! I loved it, the more the merrier in my eyes and boy was there more! AND they were all merry (except for chacha)
The house wasnt to bad really - only took me a minute to pick up the last of the toys and then i di the floors once the girls were in bed for the night and it was all good (i havent touched outside though but that will get done tomorrow when i have a day at home!)
Thanks for coming everyone and i honestly look forward to doing it all over again! I love having a mad house- i suppose thats where i am like my mother! And it is also the reason we bought that house, plenty of room outside and if not, there is always the park over the fence!
OK, i better go do some work
Well my friend had her baby this morning, Ethan Robert, just under 11 pound WHOO!!! he was born via c section after she failed to dialte. I cant wait to meet her not so little bundle of joy.
I have both boys in bed YEAH ME. Playgroup was fun today they did a kids olympics they were running around everywhere which is why i think Jordan went down pretty easy
Krisite LOL at your arms being sore, I am sure you will get used to it again
Cindy glad it didnt take too long to clean up and YES YOU ARE CRAZY loving a crazy house like that although it was heaps of fun.
Nikki Yes I am glad Jordan left my leg.... he is going thru a clingy phase which is mega annoying as you could prob tell. Cant wait to get back to work so he can break the cord again LOL
Chat later everyone
OMG! 11! 11 you say!!!! That is twice the size of chacha at birth!
i have a very feral tori today - soooo cant wait till next friday and our paed appt for her about her eating and moods!
Nikki - first time lucky with Milo

Ok better get my ass into gear and do something...OMG it is pouring here!!
Anyway...chat soon ladies..xoxoxo
Alex -yah Milo was 10lb 4oz, that was bad enough!
Where is your new house?
We are having all sorts of fun with ours. I made 4 more changes yesterday, and they confirmed we have a window in the wrong place that they'll have to fix, involving removing brickwork, cutting in to the frame etc.
Hi!
A super quick one from me...we're off to Bonnie Doon for the weekend and I'm declaring it a computer free weekend! LOL! Chilling out tomorrow and maybe heading up to Buller on Sunday so the kids can check out the snow!
Will endeavour to catch up on Monday! Have a good weekend!
oooh..we had an offer on the house tonight...dh has been on and off the phone all night, but they went from 5K under our what we wanted, to 10K over it. :D:D
subject to finance and building/pest inspection  that everything goes smoothly.
they wanted a significantly shorter settlement than we did, which is why we pushed for the higher $$.
oooh now I have butterflies!! I hope it goes through!
Kristie, other than the RE fees, $ to discharge the mortgage and conveyancing, does the vendor have any other major legal costs to pay? Do you pay stamp duty when you sell a house or just when you buy it? That sort of thing.
