omg that is awsome racheal, fingers crossed it goes through.
we have sold our block, they still have till tuesdasy to cool off but i dont see a prob,we have decided to renovate this house ,the bathroom, large shed, pergola and hopefully extend with an extra bedroom and kids retreat.
i have organised the tics for puffing billy.
we have to meet at emerald station where there will be a pantomime with thomas and the fat controller, jumping castle, farm animals etc then we jump on the steam train to lakeside for a picnic etc and the back on the train to emerald.
we have to be there at 10 am at the latest.
i have bought the tics and this is how it goes
kristie 2 adults 2 toddlers $53
tracey 2 adults 1 toddler $44.50
cindy 2 adults 2 toddlers $53
alex 2 adults 2 toddlers $53
racheal 2 adults 1 toddler $44.50 (hope you dont mind but i just went ahead and booked for you cos i wont take no for an answer and i didnt get a chance to chat with you about it first)
sunday the 19th october.the show starts at 10 so we really need to meet there at 9.30 i would say.they will not be cancelling unless it is declared a total fireban so i really hope it is not a wet day,we will have to go even if it is.
i suggest we have a bbq as there are plenty of bbqs down there,we could all pitch in with meat, salad fruit, snax etc,it will be easier that way and of course a birthday cake for our special birthday babies.i would also like to do a kris kringle type of present arrangemant like last time aswell.
ok i think that covers it all.
any questions just ask and if you need my account details just let me know,i amhappy to wait any period of time for the money, even ok to bring it on the day if that makes things easier.
love ya all
nikki
-
Nikki you are too cute, thanks for organising it all. I think KK for presents is good idea, it worked well last year. Also BBQ sounds good to me. I will see if we still have your details from when we gave you wiggle money, may still be on internet banking otherwise I will need it again.
Rachel Well done on selling the house I am sure it will go thru fine.
Well Liam did an awesome sleep last night. I fed him at 6.00 and he slept thru till 3.30am OMG I was rapted. HOWEVER Jordan woke at 2.30am needing to go to toilet, he was calling to me and crying from his room. He then didnt go back to sleep in his bed till just before I had to feed Liam. Once I got up to feed Liam he decided to get out of bed again so I sent him into bed with Jamie. He then slept there till just before 7am.
Jamie has taken Liam out to the hospital again to see his friend and her baby. Jordan fell asleep eating his lunch ( so cute) so think i better do the floors whilst everyone is out or in bed.
Take care everyone

Nikki, thanks for organising the tickets, thats awesome, of course we will be coming!
The reno plans sound good, you certaily have the land to extend out if you wanted to, or would you go up?
I am so exhauseted after tupperware sessions today, its amazing how tiring sitting on your rear end can be!
Was great to see you Cindy, even thoughi t was all of 5 minutes!! You looked like you got lots of goodies!
-
HEy rach! Congrats on the house and yes it was good to see a familiar face in the sea of Tupperchicks! I did manage to go home with a fair bit of stuff! I love all the new colours and stuff! What do you think??
Tracey - you should have had a nap while the house was quiet!
OK, i have to go, like rachael i am worn out from doing nothing all day!
-
Didnt get a nap in but got to sleep in today which was nice. Glad i did as Jamie had headache, took some tablets and slept for most of the afternoon so I had to entertain the kids on my own. Jordan was knackered after a late night/early morning and no sleep today and fell asleep eating his tea.
Liam is due for feed about 8ish so will have some quiet time to watch tele and then head off to bed I think.
My parents leave for europe tomorrow for 6 weeks, lucky them. Jamie is takng the boys to the airport to say goodbye to them. My parents are so going to miss the boys, the had good visits with jordan and liam last 2 days to make up for 6 weeks.
Hope you all had a nice weekend
-
Hi All
Just thought I'd pop in to see how you all were. Been busy organising things here and working to keep my mind off the major surgery that I'm going in to have next monday morning. We are hoping after it's done and everything heals and settles down again things will start to get a lot better with my health, and that I stay out of hospital for a while then. lol. Anyhow, master Benjamin has today been graduated from the last toddler room to the Kindy room. Today was a day he's been in undies most of the day, and been dry. Still having issues getting him to do a number 2 on the toilet though...ho hum...one day it'll happen.
Melissa
-
Melissa nice to hear from you and I hope all goes well with the surgery and that you also stay out of hosital for a long time. Thats great Benj has been dry in his undies. Dont stress about doing #2 I am sure he will get it. I dont know too many adults who still wear nappies to poo :)
-
Hi!
We had a really nice weekend away...boys had a ball going on the 4 wheeler with Michael and patting the cows. It was sooo cold though and we decided against going up to buller as it would have been soo busy! Must try and get up to Donna Buang before there's no snow!
Started packing a bit of stuff today although I ended up with bad sciatic pain...I will have to do a bit each day I suppose though so it's not such a big job at the end...I don't mind it though...we haven't had to do it for 5 years!! I'm getting so excited about moving...I'm sure the time will go fast...I can't wait for you all to come over and see it! I'm excited as there's such a big group of us now I don't think you'd fit in this house now so will be nice ot have tons of room at the new one!
Tracey - OMG!! 11 pound! I think I'd die! Poor bugger...Ethan must be a popular name at the moment! LOL!
Glad your boys are going so well! Yeah at Liam for having a good night sleep!
Rachael - Congrats on the offer! woohoo! That didn't take too long then?? Umm...no, you don't pay stamp duty on sellng your house...I'm pretty sure thats it...(as far as I've come across anyway - LOL!)
LOL at being tired after your day at tupperware! We had the body shop conference a couple of weeks ago and I was buggered from that as well! LOL! (Didn't help that it took me forever to get home because of football traffic - grrr!)
Nikki - Yeah on selling the block - that sounds like a great idea adding on to your house!! Will be a lot less hassle than relocating again thats for sure!!! I'm so glad you guys have come up with a solution!
Yeah at organising the kids birthday! Sounds fantastic! If it's ok - it will probably be a couple of weeks before I transfer...Michael and I are starting this new budget...cross fingers it works cos we're both hopeless with money...
Cindy - Ooh I'm looking forward to seeing the new tupperware catalogue...although I probably can't afford anythign out of it - LOL! I was packing stuff away today and thinking I really must use more of my stuff...I'm just not in the habit and half of the fridge stuff ends up staying in the cupboard...so silly - I will endeavour to be more organised in my new house!! LOL!
Melissa - Oooh sending you lots of good luck for your operation next week! I'm sure it will all go well!
Yeah at Benjamin being in his undies!
Ok...must get to bed...I'm sooo tired...I've been falling asleep in 2 seconds flat lately and so struggle to get out of bed in the morning...It's hard though cos I hate going to bed super early as I enjoy the peace and quiet while the boys are asleep! LOL!
Chat later!
-
Hellloooo?????
Wow - very quiet in here...
Hope everyones well! I suppose there's no real news from us here either...Better go and get the boys lunch...
-
well today was interesting. Jamie is home as really sick and whilst he was at the doctors jordan was playing outside he opened the drain and threw his new car and spade down there.
We had to hire the carpet shampooer to vacuum them out.... now i am forced to clean the carpets tomorrow. Well they do need it.
SO its been eventful and I am knackered so off to bed early i think
-
Tracey - sorry but thats a bit funny! I wouldnt have ven thought of getting a vaccume! How are the carpets looking now though?
We are looking at getting the bedrooms recarpeted -I hate the stuff thats in them now.
I am at work today and having the day from hell, i have not had a cigarette all day and to top it off too, my friend just called me to say that her FIL has been transferred to paliative care and doesnt look like he will make it to the weekend - he was diagnosed with leukaemia in december.
Kristie- im not sure i will make it to tonights mums group dinner - will depend on what happens with heidis FIL.... I think i might use the fact that i was meant to be out tonight to my advantage anyway and go visit them and take tea to them... I hate funerals
-
Cindy the carpets look fantastic, i did them this morning and they came up a million bucks, apart from the areas i tried to spot cleaned and bleached the carpet. It is funny NOW but earlier....... Sorry to hear about your friends dad.
Well I am going back to work a week early, I will start monday. I got my dates wrong and am not getting paid anymore OOPS. If I dont go back next week because we are paid fortnightly I wont get for a month.... I so cant afford that. Its not too bad though, Jamie is excited to start his leave a week early.
Jordan had his hair cut tonight, he so needed it. He looks like such a spunk. He is now breastfeeding his mickey mouse HMMMMMMMMM He pulls his top up and say "mickey have boobies " LOL you cant help but laugh at him. He can also count to 10 OMG!!!!! He is getting really clever. I am so proud.
Liam is doing well, still getting up once for a feed but we are into steady 7am get up routine at the moment so heres hoping we stay in it now work is only 4 days away
Cant wait to see you all sunday, we will be there late as have 3rd bday in bacchus marsh in the morning but will get there at some point.
Take care

What time on Sunday Cindy? I couldnt find it anywhere!
Still trundling along here.
No news to report really.
The people who are buying our house rang the RE today and asked if they could come over and weed the backyard! haha. Apparently they are looking at doing family daycare so I guess they want to minimise the accreditation period as much as they can.
Im going out to ballarat on saturday night to see a band. It should be great, its with friends I used to hang out with every weekend going to gigs etc, and this band broke up a few years back and are having a 20th anniversary show so it will be nice :)
-
Tracey- i remember bleachin carpet before, such a pain.. Bugger about going back to work early, I'm glad you guys are going to make it sunday now!
Rach - that sounds like fun sat night! even betterthat your not preg yet so you can have a few drinks! No stress about time on sun, the linen party is starting about 11.30 but she is hanging around for a while so if your wanting to check it all out you should be able to, people are just arriving whenever though so nobody stress about time, just work around sleeps and stuff if you need to.
WEll, i got my transcript of records from RMIT in the post today and will send my application of to chisholm tomorrow, i kicked butt at RMIT so hopefully that will help me out.... fingers crossed
-
Hi!
Tracey - Bugger at having to clean the carpets - LOL! Wow at heading back to work next week...I'm sure it will all go well!
LOL at Jordan bfing!
Cindy - bugger you couldn't make it last night! Was a great gasbag and a pretty good meal as well! The big news is that Elise is p/g! 14 weeks along so thats really exciting...not sure if you already new...I think I was the last to know! LOL!
Sorry to hear about your friends FIL...how awful...
Rachael - LOL at the people wanting to weed your backyard! hehehe. Hope you have a great night out on Sat! Sounds like it will be great catch up!
Not much from me...having a super lazy day - I'm still in my pj's! LOL! We had a huge day yesterday out shopping (my mum bought me a couple of new tops which was nice! Huge discounts at target at the moment) and then I had my midwife check up - bubs is going well and is still head down as I assume he'll stay now! Got out of a diabetes test cos I don't have any risk factors which was nice - I wasn't looking forward to drinking that crap again - LOL! Then dinner out last night...Michael and I have a dvd to watch tonight which will be nice so just chilling out...
Such a bugger I can't make it on Sunday - I'd much prefer to be going to a party than a wake thats for sure!
Chat later!
-
Kristie- I didnt know about elise, good luck tomorrow.....
-
cindy we have to watch the nephews in there footy grandfinal i think it will finish at about 230 so we should be there at about 3.30 or 4 oclock, will we make it in time for tucker
-
CIndy I am so sorry we didnt make it, we are such pikers I know. Jordan was actually asking to go to bed whilst we were at the park and fell asleep on the way home. Liam was feral as he didnt sleep much at all during the day so we didnt want to disturb them anymore. I again apologise as we both really wanted to make it. We will have to arrange a get together on a weekend when we have nothing on.
So i am back to work tomorrow.. I have set alarm and got all expressing equipment ready. In a way I am looking forward to it and then in others i am not. We will see how the day goes.
take care everyone. Will fill you in some time tomorrow
-

Cindy - thanks for having us today, Milo had a ball :)
Nikki we must have just missed you!
Tracey good luck at work tomorrow, I hope they let you ease back in to it.
Well i had a good weekend, the gig in Ballarat was awesome and it was great catching up with my GF. We used to hang out seeing bands 3-4 nights a week and when I was at uni i practically lived at her house (shes 9 years older than me and owned her own house - sooo much better than being at home witht he fam! ha ha)
Then today we went to Cindy's and Milo had so much fun 'with the big boys' Your brothers are something else Cindy, they're so good with the kids.
So guys I booked a linen party while i was there, and it will be in late september. I realised I'd be moving house ont he date I booked it for so am trying to move it so it will be Sunday 21st Sept. If anyone is interested I will let you know when the date is finalised.
fell asleep when I got home though! and Milo crashed at about 7:30.
-

Thank you for coming guys....
Rachael, you make a good salad! I just ate it for breaky. My brothers are great with kids, especially the oldest one, he is the most clucky person i know! He even says his dream girl is someoer care ne who already has a kid coz they would be more likely to want more! Scary for a 23yo! We have grown up with a house full of kids though with foster care etc. They loved milo
Nikki - i hope harry is ok today, we dont have anyone sick so hopefully it was just a car sick chuck!
It was so good for our boys to catch up again too I know al is a big fan of grants! I have washed coreys top too! It was still in the laundry. COrey is such a champ, he better send me those book club thingos! hahaha
Alex- sorry to hear about the pups, do you know why is happened?
Tracey - good luck today! My frend who had her VBAC bubba around the same time as liam, she went back to work last week and lasted 1 day, she quit her job! Lucky for her she can afford to though....
OK, i should go get in the shower and get organised for playgroup! Atleast i can get rid of some of the left overs there!
-
well work today was better than expected. Liam didnt co operate with feeds however, he fed at midnight and then 5am so by the time 9 came around ( an hour after getting to work ) my boobs were getting hard and full. I ended up expressing at 12 during lunch it took no time at all.
Jamie had the house spik and span when I came home with was awesome. I bathed Jordan, fed Liam, we have had tea and now Liam is in bed and Jordan is soon to follow.
Dont have to go back till friday now so a few days with my boys again.
Cindy I am glad you had a good time, LOL at drinking till all hours. LOL at Al cleaning up, he is so domesticated. Maybe he should start cleaning business instead of doing home renovations :)
Alex sorry to hear about your puppies, it prob is a good thing the boys dont understand.
Rach are you def having party on the 21st? I have my cousins babys 1st bday that day why do I always have things on???????

ooh, except that our house is geting valued tomorrow, for the buyer's loan applicaiton. fingers crossed that it goes ok or I will be sad :( I spoke to my GF who is a property lawyer, as well as the lovely Cindy, who think it will be OK. The other plus is i looked up the banks website today, and property values in our area have gone up in the past 3 months so heres hoping everything is OK.
butterflies again! I tell you...
-

Alex, thats just so sad about the puppies
Sounds like you have had a full on day Nikki, you must be tired.
Well, after there was still no sign of AF on friday, I tested again, bfn, and the same thing on sunday morning. oh well at least i got two lines today.
The buyers for the house had their bank valuation today, i dont think we find out or anything until they do so will have to stew on it til friday I guess. with having the addition an all next year I really hope that it all goes smoothly and I can have a good break from work.

-
Hi!
Geez...I don't read for a while and look what happens - Rachaels up the duff! LOL!
CONGRATULATIONS!!!! How exciting! Yeah!!!
Glad you had a fun night out Sat night! Bugger...I probably won't make it to your linen party - thats the weekend before we move and I'm sure we'll need to be getting organised...I'm meant to be going to a hens weekend as well at rutherglen that weekend but doubt I will make anything...Sorry!
Wow - you're going to have another bubba and Milo's going to be a big brother! I'm so excited for you!!!
Tracey - I'm glad returning to work went well for you!
Melissa - Hope your operation was a success!! Bugger...one of us should have given you our number so you could let us know that it all went ok...I hope you recover super fast!
Cindy - I hope Sunday went well! (sounds like it - LOL!) LOl at having so much wine! Sounds like just your kind of neighbour - hehehe! How nice of Al to clean up!
Nikki - Poor Harry getting car sick...I'm with you hanging out for spring weather...although I'll get excited when it starts creeping up to more 19-20! I'm so excited to be moving so close to the beach!
How you get so much done in a day I have no idea! You've made me tired just reading all of that! hehe.
Starting to pack although haven't done heaps...we just use so much - I really don't think we have a lot of stuff...but then again we've never been able to! Our settlement is the 26th sept so 30 days to go! I'm soooo excited! I really can't wait!
Ethan is good - kicking me lots which I love!
Alex - So sorry to hear about your dog's puppies...how sad...
We're all well...just a busy week with more dramas with our deposit but luckily it's all sorted now...What an extra stress we didn't need!
Had my uncles thing on Sunday and it was really nice...we were all doing well until my dad got upset and then we were all upset! His daughters read out stuff about him and it was soooo nice!
Otherwise not too much happening...Boys have been gorgeous - Dylan fell asleep on the couch the other day so Louis went and put his jumper over him and gave him a kiss...they really are such great little mates...I was cranky yesterday over this deposit stuff and Louis has come over asking if I was ok and that I looked sad...he's such a special little boy...he picks up on so much stuff and is so surprising sometimes...if we tell Dylan off sometimes he tells us to stop yelling at him or whatever...just some things you wouldn't expect to come from a 2yo!! He's such a sensitive little boy - I just hope it doesn't bite him on the bum when he goes to school...when we were at my uncles on Sunday a little boy wouldn't let him play with him with a ball and Louis is sayin got him - sharing remember - sharing - and I felt so awful for him - he was trying to do the right thing but the other little kid didn't care...Can there be such a thing as too many manners??? LOL! Anyway...I'm ranting now...
Chat soon!

Well today was Jamies last day of work so I took the boys in to see everyone. They were all over the boys and Jordan was given chocolates, lollies and cars......he was loving it. They were both so tired on the way home they both slept. They had tea ( boobs for Liam ) when we got home and straight to bed.
So now Jamie is a SAHD I dont have to do any housework YEAH!!!! Back to work for me tomorrow and saturday and then back to my reg shifts mon tues friday and saturday. I am looking forward to it though in a way. It brings me closer to our holiday and closer to starting school next year.
Krisite Louis really is a sweet little boy. Its awful when kids are horrible to your own kids but I guess its all part of growing up. I usually give the naughty kids a foul look to show them I am angry.... I am a meany. Its beautiful that your boys are good friends I hope mine are the same.
-
wow tracey soak it up.Lets just see if he can do it all as well as you can.
I hope he manages ok,i dont know if he really knows how tough it can be doing the mum job,one things for sure he will really appreciate what you have been doing for the past nearly 3 years,i find grant always aknowledges how difficult and tiring it can be when he stays home with the clan.
nikki

Hi!
I had a great day with the kids...even with they're sniffles we headed out to the shops - we didn't make it food shopping though...I bought them new sandals each - Dylan chose bob the builder and Louis chose Diego and we got Michaels fathers day present (a poker set...) and then had lunch in the food court - we had nori rolls and both boys sat at on the big chairs at the table and had a banana buzz as well...they were sooo good! I then found a gorgoues blankie and soft doggie for Ethan...pretty much the same as Dylans but in different colours...the boys will give him the doggie as a present when he arrives and Ethan will have a present each for them! Then because I'd bought something special for everyone else I thought it was my turn and bought a new pair of sunnies...not expensive but my old ones were sooo scratched. The boys fell asleep on the way home and so I had a chance to chill out and read and then all 3 of us cooked pizzas and I bathed them (Michael is in bed with the flu) and they went crazy splashing everywhere - I had to protect myself with a towel - LOL! Was so cute to hear them giggling away though! They're now tucked up in bed so I'm definitely chilling out..the only bothersome thing is that now I have to do food shopping tomorrow instead! LOL!
Sorry for the rant...just had a really nice day with the kiddies...
Tracey - Wow at Jamie being home now! How long is he at home for? Will be so nice having him at home doing all the jobs! Hehe. Michael would honestly have no idea what it's like to have the kids day in and day out...he hasn't even had to look after them for 12 hours I don't think...
I know - I have to harden up I think...LOL! I don't want to be one of those mums that steps in all the time - it's just going to be hard to have to watch him learn those lessons though iywkim?
I'm sure your boys will be the best of buddies as well! They woke up after a nap and Dylan was saying - hello louis, and had to go over there and climb up on him and give him a big cuddle...so cute!
Nikki - Thats great Grant can see things from your perspective from the time he spends with the kids...
Hope everyone is well!
Oh and I have a strange question...I actually baked today and when it says grease and line with paper I do that and whatever it is that I cook always sticks so the paper...drives me nuts...Does anyone have any suggestions?
I'm only asking because I know you guys - especially Alex and Cindy do a fair bit of baking...
Chat later!
-
baking.........................whats that??????????????????????
