sounds like you had a great weekend Kristie.
Mum is bringing Milo, shes a bit worried about getting lost.
Its on Coburns Road isnt it Nikki? I dont know how she could get lost its the same road you turn on to fromt he freeway exit.
Anyway she has your mobile number, and Cindy's in case she does. I hope Milo is ok, i dont know how hes going to go getting in the pool without us or her..
HAPPY BDAY CHANTELLE I hear you had an awesome party.
Jordan talked non stop about the party and how he saw Nikki Chantelle and Harry. LOL he cracks me up. He told me about the water and the chips. I am so glad he had a good time and that Jamie was able to take him. I am bummed I missed out though but will see you all on sunday.
Nikki I am so pleased the kids had a good time and they got slimed, how fun. I am glad Chantelle had a good bday also.
Kristie How cute Dylan finding money in the sand. I am glad Louis had a good bday. So sorry we didnt make it. I worked till 3 and then Jamie was knackered from cleaning the house all day we ended up at mums for tea as they had Liam while Jamie cleaned up.
So have we decided what we are doing for food and how we are doing the presents for sunday?
Are we going to do a KK and know who we are buying for, prob easier as its harder to buy unisex toys at this age. Nikki if your boys want to draw the names out a hat that would be cool.
Just going to chill out now and wait for Liam to wake for his last feed of the day. He had sweetcorn for tea tonight. He loved it. I cant beleive he is doing solids now, OH he is growing up too fast.
XX
we need to bed at EMERALD STATION before 10 am.the show starts at 10am this sunday.after the show we get on puffing billy to lakeside where we will set up camp.we will return to EMERALD STATION on puffing billy also at the end of our day.
there is free animal farm, jumping castle face painting etc at EMERALD STATION
it is 2.00 per car for parking at EMERALD STATION.
kk is like this
cindy.....you have chantelle
tracey....you have louis
kristie.....you have milo
racheal....you have tori
alex.....you have jordan
nikki...i have jack
as for food.instaed of fighting for a bbq and having to carry around all the gear we would need to cook,i think a picnic like what we did last year at the zoo sounds like it would be easier.
so everyone can add a list of things they would like to contribute and if we all bring a few things each then it makes for an easy lunch for everyone.
i have decided i would like to hand my hat over as cake bearer to someone else this year so....go ahead and fight for the title.
i will bring
dip and bic
chips and lollies
bread rolls
cheese
plastic cups,plates,cutlery and napkins
sharp knife
after everyone has suggested what they want to bring i will add more to my list.
The boys had a great time yesterday! Thanks for that NIkki! Dylan had a nap in the car on the way home but Louis was awake and excited to go over the big bridge and through the big tunnel - LOL!
Nikki - Hope Chantelle had a great birthday and enjoyed herself! Hope Harry's chins ok the poor little thing...He so has no fear!
Rachael - Milo looked like he was enjoying the water!!
Alex - Was good to catch up with you again! So glad you had a great holiday!
Cindy - The girls looked like they had a ball as well - how's Charlottes knee?
Tracey - I had a cuddle with Liam yesterday - he's so gorgeous! He's grown so much since I saw him at Cindy's! Wow at him eating solids already - gosh the time has flown! Jordan was running around loving it all as well - I think especially when Jamie went in the wave pool with him!
Thanks for organising everything Nikki!
I'll bring:
Drinks - maybe some fruit juice prima things?? Might be the easiest?
Tomatoes
Mayo
Mustard
Butter
Lettuce
Bread - my kids won't eat a roll! Fusspots! LOL!
Shapes/cheezels or something snacky...
I can add to that later as well if need be!
So Nikki - does that mean all the animals etc at Emerald all starts at 10am as well or should we get there a fair bit earlier for that? Do you know what time the train actually leaves?
Sounds like it will be great fun!
Having a super lazy day today - I was wrecked after yesterday and fell asleep on the couch at 9.30pm! LOL! I've got some girlfriends over for dinner tonight so I'm making homemade pizza...better get the house cleaned up first though!
Chat later!
i hav no idea what to bring.
was thinking i could do
cake/s
drinks - water/mineralwater/softdrink etc for the grownups
salad
sandwich meat - any suggestins? I cant eat it so have no preference.
im happy to bring more stuff my pg brain just wont work and I cant think of things. Im not going to be home at all on Saturday so things I can get done on saturday night.
the thomas pantomine is at 10 am,then we can wander around and see the other things at the station, trains leave regularily to lakeside,we can go straight there after the 30 minute show and come back to the station at the end for animals etc,we can just go with the flow,im not confident that we can get there much earlier as we have a long drive.otherwise everyone can get there as early as they like to see the animals etc before the show.
Guys, I'll make the cake...cause I love doing cakes..
How about a big number 3 covered in lollies, chocs etc..
Sound ok??
Anyway, I'll bring more stuff too when I figure out what..just gotta work in 5 mins so better get ready.
Talk soon
Tracey - Benjamin had his birthday on the 4th of October.
Nikki - Benjamin had a great day on his birthday. We had a few friends of his over at lunch time and they all had a ball. I made a train cake. Of course the lollies all went first....hmmmm. Been having appointments with the hospital each week for the past 3 weeks. First to see the surgeon, who said that everything is going great but still no heavy lifting for 6 months including my son. 2nd week was to see the gyno, who's organising IVF for Jan/Feb next year. And reminded me to go get Dh's swimmer's checked out by our local gp b4 we go back to see him. My 3rd appointment is tomorrow morning with the diabetic clinic doctor. My sugar levels are horrible! Well, I've had to deal with an infection from the surgery and I'm stacking on weight again, not to mention AF I think is still on her way, though she is a week and a bit late. If only the doctors were wrong and I still have a tube, it would make life so much easier.
to everyone's littlies I may have missed.
Anyhow, we are in moving mode. Organising to shift in Late November further up the coast between Gympie and Maryborough to a small country town called Bauple. Call it a tree change...
Happy Birthday Benjamin I am so slack sorry I missed it. It seems you are really busy with all Melissa I hope it all goes well for you with the IVF in the new year. I will be thinking positive for you.
Krisite I am glad you had nice cuddles with Liam. He would have loved it I am sure, he is such a sociable little bug. How cute is Louis to like going over the bridge and the tunnel.
SO.... should I bring salads? Potatoe, pasta and coleslaw, maybe a green salad aswell.
Well tomorrow I am hanging out by the letterbox as my letter should be arriving to advise that i got into the course, not that I am feeling confident or anything. I will be devasted if its a NO......
Nikki Can you send me you bank details again so I can put the money in. Did we pay $8.50 for the kids or full price?
