HI Guys
I am here, thought I was the only one for a while but we are all so busy with life its hard to take time to catch up even in cyber space.
Krisite I am glad you had a nice xmas and new years and I hear you on the demanding baby front. Liam is a lovely kid but he demands your attention all the time. He is not happy unless you are with him. I cant walk away and do things or he looses it so I am forever shifting him into the room I am going to. Will be heaps better when he can crawl and chase me. As for finishing up on the baby front I think you have a lovely family and I would be pleased as punch too. It will be nice for you to be NOT pregnant this christmas and focus on you. I hope you get some rest in at some point between feeds.
Rach Dont worry too much about your nod, you are preg. I know its hard but you have always looked good to me. 15 weeks isnt too far away. WOW how time flies, you will be welcoming your new baby and mine will be turning 1!!!!! OMG
Nikki wishing you a safe trip and a fabulous holiday
Cindy I hope you get some time out from everything, maybe take a nice bath and lock everyone out. Even half hour of peace and quiet might do you good. I hope everything is ok with your family. Please call me if you need to talk or need anything.
Well I am getting ready for work again tomorrow, although its quiet at the moment although will prob pick up as everyone strarts coming back from holidays. Only 19 days till enrolement and I am getting really nervous. HOW AM I GOING TO COPE??????
OH and Liam is crawling.......can you belelive it, he is only 7.5 months which is light years ahead of Jordan( my slow little turtle). He is hald commando half normal crawling and its freaking me out.
My stomach support is also doing wonders, it has gone back into its reg shape and I think I may even have had some progress in the muscle area. I am glad I am wearing the stupid thing now, even if it is uncomfortable and ugly.
night night

Hi!
Cindy - LOL at shaving Al's head!!! Michael keeps saying he's going to do it too but I don't think he will...
Hope everythings going ok...I don't blame you for needing some chill out time...
Rachael - It can be hard to feel good about yourself when p/g...I think you look fantastic as well!!! Don't be too hard on yourself!!
Tracey - Yeah at Liam crawling!! How exciting! Hope you have a nice day back at work...You're certainly going to have your hands full with study but I'm sure you'll manage to find a balance!!
Well...Michaels holidays have been rubbish...he got a private job so didn't have any time off before xmas and then it's taken longer than he thought so had to work Fri and tom...on Friday he did his back so has been in pain all weekend so I've had to take over from what he normally does bathing the kids as well as everything else...grrr. I did manage to get a sleep in this morning though which I so desperately needed...
I so shouldn't post at night because it definitely puts a negative slant on things...Ethan screamed for him pretty much the whole time I was having my sleep in and then had one good sleep and has then been unsettled the rest of the day...didn't manage to get him to sleep until 10pm (after a 9.30pm feed) and has now woken at 1am for another feed...I go to feed him and he just spits it out so obviously isn't hungry but I'm still here trying to get him to sleep...he hates the dummy so much but it's the only way I know to settle a bubs...his feeds are becoming more and more frequent and at the moment he is not even having a long stretch at all overnight...I find I'm just walking away to let him cry because I end up so frustrated...
I think I'll have to call up a sleep school place soon to try and get in...although usually by the time you get in the sleep issues are sorted! we'll see how we go...I've got his 2m mchn on Wed so will find out some more then...
Louis woke up tonight with a croupy cough but doesn't seem sick at all...I'm getting really worried that it might be an asthma thing...He really panics and makes himself dry reach and is nearly sick...poor little monkey...I will have to book him into the dr and might be worth having some ventolin on hand just in case thats what it is...I got such a fright tonight when he couldn't breathe properly...
He's being such a grown up boy at the moment - everything is "I can do that"...so cute...he's learnt to undo his buttons, and he made his sandwich today - sat up on the bench and buttered his bread, put mayo on, then layed the cheese, ham and tomato! He got a clickstart computer for xmas and he plugs it into the tv and sets it all up - I'm so proud of how he uses it - he know all his letters and numbers so well and can read his name now...he's got the mouse happening really well and can play the games all by himself...it has a yes and no that you have to click on and he spells them out and clicks on the one he wants...
Dylans gorgeous - such a funny little kid - he's talking so much. Doesn't want a bar of counting yet - usually says "two, two and one more" to count to 3! LOL!
Anyway...still trying to get this baby to go to sleep with a dummy an hour on...I know it's just as easy to feed him but then he ends up with wind etc as well...Oh who nows...you'd think 3rd time around I'd know what I'm doing but I don't have a clue...
I promise when I post tonight I won't crap on...LOL! Chat later...

Hi!
I think I scared everyone away with my last post! LOL!
We had a huge day today shopping as we didn't have power at home all day! We bought Louis a gorgeous pin stripe suit for my dads wedding as well as pants and a shirt for Dylan...and a new suit for Michael - which may I say he looks very gorgeous in! LOL! I even got a new pair of runners and a couple of pants. The kids were so good although after having Ethan in the sling for 3hours I needed a break so Michael put it on and it fit him so he wore him for the rest of the day!!
We all headed to the Chiro for adjustments and not sure if it's related but Ethan went down quite easily tonight (and by 8pm!) and went over 8 hours between feeds!!! (thus my posting now!)
Poor Dylan is sick with a cold now and thinks its hilarious that when he sneezes so much snot comes out! LOL! Only he could see the humour in that!
Anyway...better get back to sleep...not much happening tomorrow except Ethans mchn appt - I can't believe he's 2 months old already! and immunisations...yuck!
Hope your all well and coped with the warm weather today! Chat later!
-
Poor Dylan I hope he is feeling better.
Milo does not cope at all well with colds he freaks out at snot like its the plague. lol
He is driving me crazy ATM. I cant sleep so Im awake til midnight most nights, and hes getting up between 5:30-6 most of the time. He gets up and turns on every light in the house between his bedroom and ours and then gets into bed with us and wants to play or watch telly.
Oh and Cindy - one for you - the tooth that he knocked a few months back - the night I called you about it - well it ended up in a different position after that but I've noticed its in another one again, I think its moving a fair bit and twice this past week he has told me it hurts.
Im making an appt for him at the paed. dentist but is there anything they can do? I realy dont want it to come out, cant they glue it in there or something so its not moving? It doesnt seem "loose" as such but its definitely not normal.
:( Sorry to come in here an unload - I deleted the best bits too -might put them in the plat. section so they cant be googled.
-
Krisite you havent scared anyone off I think everyone is mega busy or away at the moment. I am glad you all had a good time shopping and WELL DONE Ethan on the good sleep. I hope he keeps it up. How funny Dylan finds his snot amusing, Jordan freaks out and crys when he has snot. 2 months already How time flies when you are having fun :)
Rach I hope they can fix Milos tooth, poor tacker. I hear you on the early get ups. Jordan did this for a while, he now gets up between 6-7am. He comes into our room. I try and turn the tele on in the family room so I can lay in bed a bit longer but he continously comes back in to me so I end up getting up to allow Jamie to sleep in. Hope you can get some better sleep in soon.
Well the boys are doing well. I have taken up some overtime for the next 3 weeks. I am working 5 days this week and 6 days for the next 2 weeks. This will allow me to hopefully get together the money for tafe and other things. It will be my last chance to pick up extra shifts so better take advantage I guess
I am feeling really good about the way the stomach brace is working. My stomach has gone back to regular shape which is awesome. It makes me look heaps skinnier and no longer pregnant (thanks goodness).
Am going to enjoy my day off tomorrow.
take care

Hi!
My little Dylans in a big bed!!! He's already got up once tonight but hopefully he's not too much of a terror - LOL! Ethan was in bed by 8pm again tonight...woohoo! I really hope this is the start of him settling down a bit...I'm very surprised as well since he had his 2m immunisations today..poor little bubba screamed...Had his 2m weigh in as well and it's so funny - the 3 boys were all within 150g weight at their 2m check!!
Louis is being gorgeous at the moment - such a big helper - he's really so grown up for his age...we can have such great conversations with him!
Michaels out for the night so I'm a bit nervous that I'll have a night of chaos - I've got the "love my way" series 2 dvd ready just in case Ethan is unsettled...LOL!
Rachael - bugger at Milo being up so early and you up so late! Not a good combination! Hope things settle for both of you soon...Poor little thing with his toothy peg...
Tracey - Gosh - you must be so buggered working so much!! Wow - the stomach brace sounds great! Where did you get it from?? I'm so going to want a tummy tuck I reckon - although I watched a thing on foxtel the other day and it was sooo gross! Also...don't know if I could really justify the money for it...Will have to see what happens after I lose a bit of weight...
Speaking of which....Michael and I have a deal that when I get back to 56kg I'm allowed to go on a $1000 shopping spree!! Omg! What an incentive!! I'm so excited!! I reckon I'll throw half my old clothes out! hehe. Will be nice to get some normal lingerie as well...I'm so over maternity! I alway used to have matching bra & Undies so will be nice to feel good again...So even if I lose the weight earlier I'll probably wait until I'm done bfing so I can get fitted properly. So I've got about 5-6kg to go!!
Cindy - Hope to catch up with you on Sunday - should be great to let the kids have a play - I'm really looking forward to it! Louis asks about the park since we've moved so he's very excited!!
Gosh we've been so luck with the boys in the morning...Louis gets up and watches tv or even plays on his own for ages in the morning if he knows we're asleep...Even Dylan sits and watches tv quietly for a good half an hour usually...I'll have to train Ethan up to do the same! LOL!
Hope everyone else is well! Better go and get stuck into the monster washing pile I've got sitting int he lounge room while all the boys are asleep! Chat later!
-
Sorry for being AWOL girls!!! I have an 8 week old puppy here that demands alot of my time and trying to keep Toby from smothering her too!!! Jack is really good with her but Toby just gets a bit rough!
I have been home pretty much everyday these holidays as Nick has been working everyday since before xmas.. They have a really big job to finish.. So I've been doing alot of walking in this yummy weather and cooking too!!
Kris Oh..Dylan in a big bed!!! YAY!! Toby is in one too as we took the side off his cot about a week ago...and no dramas at all!! He hasn't fallen out yet!!(touch wood!) and he gets up in the morning and plays with his toys for a bit then knocks on the door to get up for the day!!! I love it!!!
Trace thats great you can work a bit more now to save some money for tafe.. And so glad the stomach brace has worked!!! How long do you have to wear it??
Cindy hope you got some relaxing time by yourself and how does Al's hair look??
Rach, darl I really hope you get a bit more sleep and Milo sleeps a bit later... You must be wrecked..
And hope his teeth are alright too.. I'll check out your other post too hun.
Anyway, better shoot off and get a shower in while the boys are snoozing still...I'll be back later lovelies!!xxx

All this talk of bubs in big beds! Charlotte has been in hers for about 6 months now and i love the fact that n the middle of the night when she wants cuddles she can come to me instead of me having to go to her!LOVE IT!
-
Hi!
Alex - How gorgeous having a new puppy - I think that will be our next purchase when I get clucky - LOL! Not for a while though...How cute is Toby knocking on the door - Dylan does that as well...doesn't call out or anything just gets up and knocks - LOL!
Cindy - How great Charlotte just goes into you for cuddles...Are you going tomorrow to the Park??
Just had a day at home today...Ethan was super unsettled for most of the day so I'm hoping he sleeps well tonight...boys are loving their trampoling and especially when Michael goes out with them and plays with them...not sure how we'll all manage when Michaels back at work next week!!! Especially if Ethans as unsettled as at the moment...will probably have to put him in the sling to get anything done which is fine but it kills my shoulder after a while...
Ok..enjoy your weekends - it's been such beautiful weather!!
-
I wish Milo got up and played with his toys for a while..he just opend our door and climbs in to the bed..ususally with a toy or 4, or a book. I am not goo at being woken at 5:30 on a work day buy a 3 year old demanding I read him A Very Wiggly Christmas!
Lots of baby movement today. Am slowly stocking up on some nappies, hoping to give cloth a proper go. I figured out a lot of the issue last time was I was only using the odd one, so washing was hard as I didnt want to do a load for just 2-3, and theres no way I was putting them in with anything else.
So hopefully this time it will happen and fingers crossed bub is better at b/f than DS was.
Kristie, what sling do you have. there are a few that have rally good back support and dont hurt shoulders or backs..
-
Rachael...I've got a Bubzilla sling...It is good and very convenient but I just find it strains my shoulder after a couple of hours...It will do the job for now...I also have a baby carrier thing as well which I'll probably start using soon so he can have a look around!
I don't blame you for not wanting to be up at 5.30am in the morning!! Big hugs..that would do my head in! Good for you trying the cloth nappies..I'm way to lazy...LOL!
-
bubzilla is what I am looking at getting too. So its fine for a few hours? that should work for me i think
HAB are fiddly at first, but really great on your back, as are meitai style ones
-
hi girls,we are back and safe,we had such a great time,it is just beautiful up there,i am sporting a very nice tan indeed, the kids drove extremely well.they all slept for the first 4 hours of the trip there and back,we left at 4am both trips.they did not complain at all,not even once, chantelle got car sick about an hour and a half before merrimbula, but was fine as soon as we got her out of the car for fresh air.we swam at the beach and pool every day,we went to a waterfall and jumped off a cliff into a water hole, the boys went fishing 2 nights and caught fish and then went out reef fishing for 3 hours on a boat also.
they road there bikes all over the caravan park with all the other kids they made friends with and everyone there was sooooo friendly so we had bbqs most nights with our fellow campers, grant drank so much one night that he was vomiting the next morning.......suffer!
we went out to the pub for tea and also went to magic mountain which we thought was going to be a bit bit crap but was awesome, chantelle and harry went on the toboggans with us over and over again and let me tell you we flew down those hills, they Loved it the little dare devils. Corey finally got the guts up to go on a roller coaster for the first time and then we couldn't get him off it.LOL! harry went down the water slides at the caravan park all by himself and they were quite big,he had everyone in stitches cos he looked so little and cute on such a big long slide,he is crazy!!!!!they also held a disco night at the caravan park and harry stole the show, you should have seen him dancing he was hilarious,he won a prize for best male dancer for the night.
the kids had a great time and just ran until they dropped at night,we all had so much fun but it is always nice to come home.
we are going to go again next year and i am extending an invitation to all of you lovely gals and your families to start saving and think about coming with us next year.
-
Hi!
Nikki - Sounds like a fantastic holiday!! Wow! I'm so glad you had a great time! We'd love to go up there on holiday so we shall see what the year brings...I've been up there with my parents as a teenager and stayed at Pambula beach park and did a lot of the stuff you wrote about so know how great it it!! (except I was a bit older than your boys and it involved sneaking a few drinks and meeting up with some boys - LOL!)
We had a nice day going to Lilydale Lake in the morning to catch up with mothers group (sorry you couldn't make it Cindy! Hope the girls are better!) The boys had such a great time running around and then I quickly dropped into mums to try on a dress for my dads wedding and luckily it fits and so do the shoes - woohoo! It's a gorgeous diana ferrari dress so I'm going to feel really nice getting all dressed up...will have to book in and get my hair done as well I think...I wouldn't normally worry so much but I have to get up in front of everyone and do a reading so know all eyes will be on me! LOL!
Ethan was a bugger to settle tonight but just went 7 hours between feeds so no complaints here!
Ok...chat later!
-
Ok well I am 4 days into my 6 day working week and I am OVER IT. I am stressed at work as we are 2 staff down so I am doing their jobs and its all to much for 1 person. Getting help is like pulling teeth.
I will be so glad when this fortnight is over and I start working 3 days a week and start school.
Nikki glad you had an awesome holiday
Krisite 7 hrs between feeds is awesome well done Ethan. I love your reward from Michael for loosing weight, wish I could get a similar reward.
So its mega quiet in here, hope everyone is well. I hope I can catch up with you all in person at some point. Maybe I will throw myself a bday party, a good excuse to catch up......what do you think?
-
oooh Tracey, when is your birthday?
Well its fun and games at bedtime with Milo. He will only go to bed without a fuss if Im not home.
If its just neil, its a story or two, and goodnight daddy and off to sleep.
If Im home, and worse if its just me, its 45mins minimum of torture, Kicking the doors and the walls, refusing to stay in bed, running up and down the hallway somenights.
All neil says is "you must be doing it wrong" and "how are you going to cope with 2 when you cant even handle one" :wall:
Its impossible for me to get milo to sleep without one or both of use ending up in tears.
ETA: Milos tooth is definitely going to come out and I dont know if it will last til his appointment on the 31/1.
He plays with it at every opportunity, and its very loose :( Hes not supposed to lose any teeth til school, Im so upset :(
-
oh no racheal, that is awful,he will look cute though, have you rang them to give an update to see if they can do anything sooner.sorry to hear about bed time dramas.sounds like a trip to sleep school to me.it works very well and I'm sure u would like this to stop before bub comes and you are having to deal with sleep deprivation and night time feeds.i can recommend o cconell, they are very gentle, tweedle is very good too but a little tougher on the heart strings.you can do a day, weekend or week stay.let me know if you want any info.
Tracey,i thought you were a July baby?
when is the big day.i would love to help you celebrate.
harry will be 2 on Sunday, last year you might recall that we didn't hear from or see any family,it was a Friday and we had to both work and his birthday was virtually non existent.
today i went shopping for him and got him a scooter and a 12v battery operated 2 seater car.has 2 speeds and 2 seats so chantelle can get in to it also has a horn .i think he will love it.
we will have family over on Sunday just not sure if chantelle will be up to it.
she is admitted tomorrow morn at 9.30 and is scheduled for surgery at 10.45.they are taking her tonsils, adenoids and also making new holes in her ear canals.I am not worried for her just feel really bad for her as she has no idea what is about to happen and i don't even know how to tell her.the surgeon said she will be out of action for 3 weeks but i believe she will be back to normal within 1-2 weeks.she is not going to be a happy camper tomorrow arvo thats for sure,i bought her a hospital felt board thingy and a v tech laptop to help cheer her up when she comes out of recovery.its a shame that grant cant come in with us but he has to man the boat here at home with the tribe.they said i can bring her home sat night or Sunday morn if there are no complications.
we have had some huge dramas with my sister,it is very complicated but we have had to report her as a missing person to the police, she has been gone for over a week and no one not even her work has heard from her in that time,we got word that she has mixed with a rebel motorbiker and they are drugging her with heroin and hoping to put her on the streets to work in a month when she is addicted.the police are still trying to find her and as you can imagine we are worried sick.
oky doky, think of my little sweety tomorrow and send her some good recovery vibes.
nikki
