I think the 7th is ok...have to double check with Nick and my calendar!!
Nikki, hope the boys are a bit quieter now and you guys are able to get to sleep!!! And tell Corey HAPPY 10TH BIRTHDAY MATE!!! I know he'll have a great day.
The funeral was good today, had a good cry and was lovely to hear about his life and the many people he touched in his life.. The boys were remarkably good at the service, mainly due to my bag full of chips, lollies and books!!! Jack kept asking me if I was ok cause I was crying...sooo cute..
Well, I have to work in the morn...lucky me!!! But hopefully only till lunch so I can enjoy the rest of the cup!!
Anyway, night all and chat soon.. :)
OMG what a weekend - we have done sooo much around the house! Its amazing how much gets done when i dont have parties to do! We pulled out all the garden bed in the back yard and then moved 3 plants from the from the front yard to the back! Hopefully they survive!
Was a bummer we couldnt go to the BBQ we were meant to go to though!
Rach - did you go to RBW release? It soo good! I already have 3 parties and 3 cataogue parties booked for it! my target is pretty big though so hopefully i hit it!
Um, the 7th seems to be ok for us, i dont have my diary with me but i know i will be quite possibly hung over that day due to als work do the night before! Allll good i say!
OK, have to go, got a pile of emails to reply to and catalogues etc to organise!
Talk tomorrow!
Hi!
Rachael - Thanks! Have had pains all day today but thankfully have eased off tonight...I'd really like another nights sleep - LOL!
Are there any dates in Dec that do work for you? Would be a bugger for you to miss it!
Alex - Glad the boys behaved for you at the funeral...it is nice to hear stories about people that you haven't heard before! Hope you didn't work to hard today!
Cindy - Yeah at getting so much done outside - it was a beautiful day today!
As for us...had a fairly quiet day - we all went and did the food shopping and I as I wrote have had pre-labour all day...who knows though - could go on for a while yet...all the niggles have died off tonight...
Michael went and ordered my treadmill and will hopefully order the couch tomorrow! It's so much fun getting nice new things! LOL!
Tomorrow will be a chillout day as well - I don't have to leave the house which will be nice...I have the lady coming around to chat about cleaning the house which I'm excited about! Hopefully she'll start next week...
Just watched a movie on the new tv which was great! Got a few things to do and then I'm off for an earlyish night...
Chat later!
What time is Sophie coming around? I was actually going to see if i could be any help tomorrow with cleaning or anything? need me to vac to house for you? I am free and out and about tomorrow if you would like me to come do some stuff???? I would like to help out! Can even bring my dyson if you like??!!
Thanks for the offer but thats crazy talk! LOL! Gosh...as if you aren't busy enough as it is! I'm just lazy thats all...Michael and I were going to get stuck into the housework this weekend but time got away from us (well...we did too much shopping basically! hehe)
More than happy for you to come over for a visit though if you want...up to you! I just really don't expect you to do any cleaning!!! It's so nice of you to even think of it though - thanks!
Nighty night!
the only date we could make would be Sat 13th, but thats one of the wiggles days (Milo is going on the Sunday) every other one we have something Christmas related happening.
So we may give it a miss, but thats ok cos im starting to feel worse by the day - pg symptoms wise. If i had sick leave i wouldnt be at work :(
Aww big hugs Rachael...hope you pick up soon...These bubs are so cheeky aren't they? Will be all worth it in the end!
i hope so - picking up I mean! I know it will be worth it lol
Alex, I hope you go the stuff ok, sorry i missed you!
Cindy - i didnt go to sales meeting cos I had a drs appt, so will be seeing RBW at unit meeting tonight, if i make it there, feeling a bit squishy!
Rachael~ I cant believe you are still feeling crudy! I;m not going to unit meeting tonight I dont think, i am sooooo tired today!
Kristie - sorry i didnt make it today, i had crazy kids and lots of things to get done! I did manage to drop in on NIcky though and meet little Jake! He is just perfect and such a good bubba! ANd Nicky looks great, a touch tired (who isnt though) but fantastic and looks happy!
Still dont have my results yet, i bumbped into a girl today though who did the test when i did though and she doesnt have hers yet either! We both assime that they would let us know if we failed???!!!
hi guys, racheal i hope you feel better soon, how long did you have m/s for with milo.
melissa, hope you are well, have you had your appointment for ivf yet?
alex,how are you babe.
cindy, you sound like me,always busy, busy,im glad you had such a productive weekend.its such a great feeling when you sit back and look at what you have acheived,it is very motivating to keep going.
tracey,i have absolulty loved looking at all your pics of hawaii.i really really want to go there now.mmmmm might have to have a chat with grant i think.
kristie,i have a big feeling you are going to go into labour within the next 3 days, you were a couple of days early with both the boys werent you?
well we had an awsome long weekend, coreys sleepover went quite well, the boys were great and corey got lots of great presents,we gave him his bike and money and now he has over $300.i will take him shopping tomorrow night.
we had about 50 people here yesterday for cupday,it was such a fun day.i didnt drink too much which was good, but everyone really enjoyed themselves,AND...i backed the winner.actually we did very well, grant won the sweep at my work and won about $88,he also won the sweep here at home and won $110.i won in the 3rd race,5th race and cup race a total of $330 and james came second in the kids sweep here at home and won $20.
everyone got pretty ****ed and it was funny to watch, the last people got kicked out at 10.30 last night and grant and i have only just finished cleaning up and got the house back in order.
harry and chantelle had so much fun also.
harry is starting to worry me with some of his behaiviour,he keeps head butting the ground or wall when he is upset about something and yesterday he kept throwing him self in a rose bush cos he was showing off, everyone was laughing at him and also gasping cos evertime he got up from falling in the bush he would come out with big cuts and blood, but he kept doing it,he looks so wounded now, there are cuts and scratches all over him.he also has tantrums non stop and is a night mare getting into everytrhing and tearing apart the house,he alo keeps climbing up on coreys top bunk and the kitchen bench.
i am so worried that he is going to grow up like corey did,who by the way has been going great guns,we are so proud of him.
i just dont know how much discilpine is too much and how to approach him,do i send him to his room or naughty corner,i just dont think he would quit understand,i need your advice.he is 2 in jan so i need to know what is appropriate.
nikki
Hi!
Cindy - No dramas...ooohh Yeah at visiting Nicky! Thats great she's doing so well! Gosh, how annoying they don't have your results yet...it's a bit slack really!!!
Sophie dropped around so she's starting next Thursday - I'm so excited - it feels like such a luxury thing to do getting cleaner!! LOL! I will appreciate it while I can afford it...hehe.
Nikki - I had Louis 2w early and Dylan arrived on his due date so who knows when Ethan will arrive - LOL! I'm not in a rush but am getting very excited to meet him...!
Thats great you had such a good weekend and that Corey's b'day went so well!
As for Harry...sounds like developmental stage maybe?? I'm sure I remember Louis going through a stage where he's donk his head...and as for tantrums - Dylans the king, although in saying that he hasn't passed from a tantrum since Sept which is good! Poor little monkey getting all the cuts and scratches though...The climbing sounds like a normal cheeky boy!
In regards to discipline I think each kid reacts differently - going to "the door" worked really well for Louis who still responds to it but Dylan really isn't that fussed...I'd say it's definitely worth a try though - I must say we haven't been as persistant with Dylan with the discipline side of things...I think he's definitely old enough to be told no and removed from the situation and placed down for 1min or so and can then say sorry for whatever it was...Otherwise I'm sure everyone else has ideas as to what they do with their kids that may work better for him...
Louis has always just said sorry and then moved on but often with Dylan he gets into a screaming match with us and is so damn stubborn and will refuse to say sorry - even though he's more than capable...he's going to be a hard nut to crack I think!!
Don't know if any of that makes any sense...sorry!
My friend Bean dropped in tonight and stayed for dinner which was nice! Michael's gone out to his brothers so it's all peaceful and quiet (except for the tv being on cos I hate having a too quiet house!) I've got to make the most of them as I don't know how many I'll have left - LOL!
Oh and Michael put Ethans car seat in so now we've got 3 across the back seat - I can only just fit my hand in to do up Louis' booster seat...I think the next thing we invest in will have to be a new car - LOL!
Chat later!
thanks kristie,i will try that.any other ideas would be good girls.
how cute,i think the boys will love seeing the seat in the car,it will make it seem more real for them, are you all ready at home now for ethans arrival?
Yep - pretty much...everythings washed and his rooms all ready other than being a bit boring...the boys love playing in there though which is why I'm thankful there's a lock on the outside up high so when he's sleeping I can lock him in so the boys don't go in! Thats assuming I have a baby that sleeps - LOL!
I just need to pack a couple more things in my hospital bag and I'm done...they're lying around so its nothing urgent...
Just a waiting game now...I keep wondering if he'll look more like Louis or Dylan or be completely different again...and what kind of personality he'll have...I'm so excited...
Nikki - what a huge day you had! Lucky your house is big though! With harry I'm not sure, time out works for cha - who like harry thinks she is alot bigger than she is and is also realy good at tanties at the moment! Time out doesnt work for tori who I have had enough of at the moment! She beat cha up tonight while i was hanging out the washing, i could hear cha groaning and kind of crying and tori was lying on top of her holding her down, then about 10 mins later when i put them in the bath i noticed a bite mark or chas shoulder and bum! And scratches all over her back. tori is such a ****e with her. I am hoping it stops soon though.
I am guessing with harry it will be a phase he is going through, he is such a good kid, its got to be hard when you cant communicate with everyone all the time, i am guessing he was pretty rapt at find the rose bush was such a hit with everyone!!
Kristie -glad to hear Sophie is going to help you out! I wish we could get her too! No spare cash around here at the moment though! It should pick up with als work this month though!
Ok, so what date are we going for for our x-mas get together??? I need to make sure i dont book any tupperware!
Nikki - i have popped catalogues in the post for you tonight!
Cindy - what a bugger Tori gets like that with Charlotte...hopefully she snaps out of it soon...Louis isn't too rough but just constantly gets in Dylans face..and Dylans sooky enough at times that it just does is head in...I'm forever telling him to leave him alone...
I think we were thinking the 7th for werribee zoo...??
Hey,
Rach, thanks for the linen...sorry I was running late as usual!! Nick loves the aprons! Hope you start to feel better really soon luv..
Kristie, I would love a cleaner too!! That's so great she's starting next week too..just in time for Ethan!!
Cindy, I hope your results come this week sometime! Buggers making you wait!
Nikki, sounds like you all had a fab weekend! When Toby is naughty, I either give him a smack on the hand and tell him no or put him in his room with the door open and tell him to come out when he is good. He has just, in the last few weeks just started listening to me more and doing what I say!!
Nikki - I didnt have any m/s with milo at all, so its certainly different this time around.
Not sure with Harry. Milo went through a thing where he would headbutt things too, i think the rose bush is more to do with the reactions he was getting from people, but with that many of them its hard to make them all ignore him, esp. if he is hurting himself.
Maybe just being somewhere safe where he cant hurt himself for a minute (I think they say 1 minute per year of age?) Time out never worked for Milo, he would just laugh at me until I got too exasperated to continue, distraction always worked better.
Kristie I'm so excited for you! Not long to go now :)
