AND we are back from Hawaii and I was so excited to be greated with the news of Ethans arrival.
KRISTIE congrats again on the safe arrival of Ethan he is a gorgeous little boy ( knew he would be ) What a star you are going so well thru your induction.
Nikki Sounds as though you did a great job with Harry and correcting his behaviour. I am sure you will get thru this phase with the steps you are taking.
Cindy Any news on your test scores yet? LOL at Tori laughing at charlotte, its cute but as you said SO not helpful.
Rach How are you going with preg? Are you still sick?
Alex Well those books you gave Jordan for his bday were awesome, we used them on the plane for entertainment and he has been reading them non stop. He LOVES them.
Well Hawaii was awesome. The boys were fantastic on both flights there and back. Jordan slept in his car seat and Liam in the basinette on the way over. We upgraded to star class (1st class) on the way home, it was bliss. We got all the food and drink we wanted, the cars were SO comfy and we had Liam in the car seat reclined and Jordan in the seat next to me so we all got a seat. The flight crew were awesome, they loved the boys and spoilt them with attention.
We had a great holiday. Spent time at beach, did heaps of shopping for clothes and toys ( lots of disney stuff not avail in Aus) ate heaps of naughty foods and Jamie and I even went out for a dinner alone whilst Jamies mate looked after the boys.
We got back late last night so today we have spent day at home chillin out. Have to clean the house tomorrow and then its back to work OH well. Holidays have to end sometime.
Cant wait to meet Ethan. Kristie please let me know when you are up for visitors.

Yay Tracey is back!!! I want to go on holiday!!! We are trying to organise to go camping on als aunties block or a caravan park we saw today with the beach as part of it! No Hawaii for us... So glad you had a ball though and that must have been fab having dinner out without kids!
OK, i am off to bed in a min, had a massive day today with another party in fish creek, it was a HUGE party though which is fantastic, got 2 bookings and about 1800 in sales! The host is getting al her stuf she wanted for a whole $2.45! Cant gget better than that!
OK. talk tomorrow!

cindy well done on a great day.
kristie how are you, very busy im sure.
hope all is going well.
alex,im glad your party went well.happy birthday hun!

Cindy well done on the fab party, a holiday by the beach sounds awesome. Anywhere you can swim is a hit with me.
Nikki Yeah I am home wednesday unless they offer me overtime. I can confirm with you tuesday though, did you want to catch up. I would love that.
So house is back to normal now. All the clothes put away, housework mainly done ( jamie can finish it tomorrow). We have kinder info night tomorrow and we have to pay kinder fees, I cant believe they have to be paid now for next year.
Saw my niece today, she is a treasure. She isnt a very good sleeper unless you are holding her. I told my brother and his wife they may want to discourage that as it will be hard to break the habit later on. Not sure they want my advice though, oh well.
The boys are back into the routine of being at home which is good. Just getting organised for work tomorrow, expresser packed.....cant wait till I dont have to do that anymore, a few months away though I am sure.
Take care everyone

aaah! I havent had a computer all weekend but I did get your gorgeous SMS Kristie! Congratulations again!
Still feeling icky most days, i fell asleep at 7:30 last night but was awake at 1 and then at 3 and I havent really slept since then.
Tracey the holiday sounds like it was awesome. I cant believe you are all unpacked already - I hate that part the most about holidays and its normally weeks before everything is unpacked.
We've got the kinder AGM on Thusrday night for 3 year old kinder, we have to pay first term fees in advance before then and then sit through the AGM to get our info packs after its finished! There was no info that came with the payment invoice about how to pay it (payment methods) so I'm probably going to have to take time off work to go in to the council offices in business hours to payit in person.
Anyway nothing much else happening, i have a midwife appt on Friday but thats all.

anything in the mail today cindy?????
-
Nikki - yeah i got my results today and I kicjed some ass! I got 39 out of 40 for the literacy part and 30 out of 40 for the maths part which i am happy with considering i didnt even put an answer for about 5 or 6 questions! Its bugging me though wondeing which question i would have got wrong on the literacy! I have to wait another couple weeks now beforei find out if i am in the course though! I spoke to mum about it all today and she told me she is hoping i dont get in coz she really is far to busy in her own life to be able to help me out with the girls! So much for her saying she would have them 2 days for me!! She is such a cow!
I have never had any support from her in my life though so i should be used to it by now you would think!
Kristie- how are you going??
Alex- how was your party?
Rach - what a bummer you are feeling crappy still!
-
woohoo cindy, that is freaking fabulous hon.good luck i hope the news is good in a few weeks,
what a shame your mum is like that....i have the same prob.grants parents have had our kids maybe 3 times in 13 years, sad isnt it.
we have my work xmas party this sat night,we are going to rocky horror show and then spaggetti tree for dinner,we decided that it would be nice to get a hotel and stay out for the night,we havnt been away from the kids over night since our honey moon when james was 2,thats 10 years ago.anyway it took alot of organising and pleading but we got the kids spread out and babysat and my sister has just informed me that it doesnt suit her anylonger to have the babies over night.so we cant go,we cant get a refund on the hotel either.we are so used to this.
anyway, kristie how are you and ethan going
-
Nikki - i can have the babies! We have no plans at all!!
-
Just a quick one from me...am off to bed as I'm super tired!
We're going really well! Ethans doing really well and is quite a placid little thing...he's been a bit unsettled at night and slept with me last night feeding every 2h but my milk came in today so hopefully he'll settle a bit...He's sleeping really well though so I have no complaints at all..he's just so gorgeous...We've had lots of visitors over the weekend and my brother this morning which has been a bit overwhelming but should be a bit quieter over the next couple of days...I'm feeling well except the afterpains have been a shocker this time - way worse and all day long not just for feeds...
Had the midwives out today and Ethans only lost 105g so thats good and she was happy with everything...
Ummm...Michaels been a super big help which has been great - I'm so glad he's got the 2 weeks off though!
The boys are really good - they love their little brother and have had big cuddles...Dylans very spun out...
Ok...sorry I haven't written anything to you properly...will try tomorrow! NIghty night...
-
Krisite Ethan is gorgeous and I am so pleased your are settling in well and the boys are adjusting well also. Good to see Michael has time off also to assist with everything.
Cindy congrats on your results aswell and I have everything crossed for you that you get a placement. Are you able to look into childcare thru the tafe? or family daycare if you mum is unable to assist. YOu should get 50% as you are studying, I would call centrelink and enquire what you are entitled to as you would student.
Nikki I am so sorry your sister pulled out on babysitting the babies. If I didnt already have plans I would have offered to have them. I hope you can get them minded as a night out alone would be awesome.
Rach hope you are feeling better soon
Well 1st day at work was ok. Doing OT on thursday so a bit more money will be nice. Liam is doing really well. We went to Jordans kinder night, met some of the other parents they were nice. Cant wait for new year, I am sure he will love it.
night all

If i was in my own house I'd offer to hav the babies for you too Nikki - I could see if I could stay at yours and look after them?
-
Nikki - you have to take one of us up on our offer for sat night.... otherwise the only other option would be for me to come with you as your date! hehehe
-
Hi!
Cindy - Congrats on such great scores..
Tracey - Glad Liams going well! Yeah at going to the kinder thing - I can't wait for Louis to go as well...we don't have orientation until Dec and don't find out his times until then...grrr.
Nikki - Hope you manage to get out on the weekend!
We had a nice day! We went and ordered our new couch which is coming on Thursday and ended up having a spur of the moment lunch out! The boys were really behaved and was nice to be out...Ethan had a quick feed there and was happy to lie in the pram having a look around while we all ate so went very well...Michael got the pool out for the boys this afternoon and I managed a snooze with Ethan as well while Michael got dinner organised and the boys to bed...
Little terror has been quite unsettled through the night so I def needed the snooze! LOL!

Kristie I am glad that you are getting rests in when needed. It is hard in the early days when they are not sleeping to well. Glad you had a great time out at lunch.
Enjoying my day off, working tomorrow over time again, will come in handy for xmas shopping though. Such nice weather too. Boys are well, Jordan woke up mega early today 6am OH MY so didnt need that.
hope you all enjoying the brilliant weather
-
Hi!
Tracey - Bugger at Jordan being up so early...
My boys are feral at the moment...they're both so tired...they've been all over the place with day sleeps with Louis not having any as per usual, and maybe a bit unsettled with Ethans arrival?? Louis seems to be more affected than Dylan though and is having some super tantrums...He so needs to have a day sleep but it's just impossible to get him down...need to take a trip in the car I think so he'll sleep!
Ethans going really well - we went food shopping today and he slept the whole time in the baby sling so already a great investment! I think I've overdone it a bit though and I'm so tired and my bodies aching...just waiting for Ethan to wake for a feed and then Michael's on duty for a while so I can get some sleep...

Our final inspection for the house has been booked in for next wednesday and all going well handover of keys etc will be on Thursday 20th yay I am going to be so relieved when all of this is over. I am sure i will find things wrong with it once we move in, most new homes hav teething issues but looks good so far. I just hope our building inspecto friend can come this time, he is getting a lot more notice so it may work out ok.
Neil told me last night, as an afterthough - I cant belive he didnt ring me at work as soon as he found out!
-
Hi!
Rachael - Thats great news - How exciting!!! I can't imagine how great it will be moving into a brand new home!! I'm sure everything will be great!
All good here...Ethan slept in his bassinette the whole night which was great...I'm not waiting for him to wake up again...gosh - I don't ever remember waiting for a baby to wake up - it's so crazy! My boobs are killing me though and I've got lumps galore...
The housecleaners here so I've had a bit of time with the boys which has been really nice...I think they've needed that - especially Louis- I sat down with him before and read a whole lot of books while Michael took Dylan to bunnings...What a juggling act it's going to be giving time to them all in these early months! I'm really enjoying it all though and no baby blues just yet! Not sure what another few of weeks (months?) of sleep deprivation will do to me though...LOL! I'm sure I'll lose my mind when Michael goes back to work anyway...
