Alex was great to see you and hope the house didnt take too long to clean. Jordan loved coming over to Jack and Toby's house. He told my parents all about it today.

One of my friends on the coast has just won for a 2nd time! first time was about 5 years ago and they won $110k - the second was a few months ago and it was........ $7.6 million! I couldnt believe it when i saw her last weekend! Juat goes to show- people do actually win and you gotta be in it to win

Nikki - It was so good to see you today and have a good gasbag!! The kids had a ball playing as well - they were all asleep in minutes after I left!! Although had a horror run home with traffic and Ethan screamed for about 30min on the freeway! LOL!

As for us...just busy working and stuff - having lots of fun with it all actually - I have just the right amount of work on I think...I came 4th in victoria for TL sales this month which I was happy with...I don't have much book stuff on next month though so we'll see what happens!!
Oh and I've applied for a government grant which means I'll get $1k to put towards study so if I get it means I can apply to do my Life coaching course a bit sooner!! Very excited about that..
Ok...best keep getting organised and then get to bed - boys have been sick so haven't been getting much sleep lately...I've got a sore throat tonight so I assume it's on the way for me as well...might go and have a couple more vitamin c's! LOL! Chat later! xoxo
milo came home from daycare with a 39C temp. he told me this morning he was sick and staying in bed, but i thought he was playing games, and his temp was normal :( Im not feeling like th best mum ATM..

Rach dont worry we all tell the kids they are fine from time to time when they are actually sick.

Hope you're all well - I've been super busy this week...had a market night on tonight which was fun! I"m ready for a quiet weekend though!
Yep - I got my study grant so am in the process of enrolling in my Cert IV in LIfe Coaching - I'm enrolling for Jan next year so that I'm finished feeding bubs etc...I'm very excited about it all though!!
K...really need to unwind and go to bed - I haven't been to bed before midnight all week!!

mine was lovely,i watched corey play a great game of footy in wandong and then we both went shopping at watergardens.we spoilt ourselves,i got heaps of pressies from the kids this morning and grant pretty much took care of the kids for the day,
alex chante;lle was so animated tonight when she was telling me about the party,they had a great time,grant loved catching up with al too.

Well what a **** night we had here! Mum called me about 8pm to tell me that my foster sister claire had become unconcious and she had to call an ambulance - turns out that her bowel stopped working and was pushing on her diaphram which was stopping her from breathing - they did massive sugery and had to keep her alive artificially but she died this morning. just can't believe it, it was so not seen! So freaking sad! Al has had to go into work for a few hours and untill then i cant really go see mum but its just crap! I have a afriend coming over to help with the girls so thats a good thing atleast.
I have dealt with so much death in my life and every time it makes me realise how precious our loved ones are but how easily we take them for granted still - assuming that they will be around tomorrow.... please tell everyone special in your lives that you love them!

This is absolutly devastating news cindy,i am so sorry,i met your sister once way back when we were prg with harry and cha cha,i just cannot beleive this,my thoughts are with you and your family and huge huge hugs for your mum,i wish you all lots of love over the next few hard days and may her life be celebrated,your mum gave her a chance at a wonderful life with lots of love and that would be comforting for her to know that she made a difference in her life.

well we are surviving! I have told tori the news tonight and she has no understanding at the moment - i will talk to her about it all again tomorrow - she knows something is up though and is sad. but the death part and not being able to see claire again is not sinking in at the moment.
We are having the viewing thursday night and then the funeral is friday morning...

Thursday night mum is going to have the girls for me, she won't be going to the viewing so she will have my niece and my girls. Thank you so much for the offer though.

I have done my 1st week of placement and have really enjoyed it. I think I have grown up as a person this last week. I thought things would scare or gross me out but they havent. I have been proud of myself to be able to provide care to these people who cannot provide it to themselves. Its such a sad place though, I did get really depressed on the 3rd day but was over it the next. I have fallen in love with some of the residents so it will be sad not to see them after this week.
Hope you are all enjoying your weekend. I haveday off tomorrow ( the only one this week) but I am off to the nurses expo to see whats on offer for graduated DIV 2. A little premature but want to work out where I can go and what electives are best to take next year.

With Rachals bub - I got a message from rach thursday morning saying that baby Oscar had arrived - arrived 10.40pm Wednesday weighing a whopping 4.62kg! I dont have any further details to give though

We survivedthe funeral - had loads of drama leading up to it and also realised alot about some of my friendships but that is all good- I have my dad staying with me this weekend which is strange- i have not seen or spoken to him in over 12 months but the girls are loving it!

NIkki - dad lives on the gold coast and in general we just have nothing, other than our blood, in common. We just don't talk, nothing bad has happened at all and he was a great dad when i was a kid, all my friends wanted him as their dad too but about 10 years ago he did the mid life crisis thing and just changed...... That was also around the time his mother died and he didnt handle that very well at all. Such is life though
I can't believe the boys are going away! Nikki- I'm not sure i can be a great help but if ther is anythigni can do please say the word!
Krisite Just wondering if the others books i ordered have come in yet, the 100 words books.??? I was hoping to give them to Liam for his bday.

3 more days of placement and am looking forward to going back to school to chat with everyone and see how things went at the other facilities. Boys are at mums, I just dropped them off to sleep the night as both jamie and i need to leave at 6am, too early to get the boys up.
Liam turns 1 on thursday I cant beleive it.

Al was meant to bring them over to you guys the day of Tobys party but managed to leave them in the car- he pointed out to me that atleast he remembered the girls! Oh and the tupperware! I am out that way again this friday night for a party and was going to give them to alex to hand out (if your going to be there alex?) Otherwise I could make sure al has them wrapped and ready to hand over on his b'day party this sunday?
I have a party sunday but al will be there and he will possibly have my niece with him too! I will let you know!

Im not sure if we are going to make it tomorrow to Liams party, it will depends what sort of night Oscar has. Hes asleep now, which is highly unusual, so Im hoping he has another feed before he decides he's going down for the night.
If we do come it will be me and the kids as Neil cant make it.
Rach I can understand if you are unable to make it to Liams bday. Dont stress if you cant as you need all the rest you can get in the early couple weeks. We will catch up and meet Oscar when you are all settled.

Liams party today went really well and I think all the kids had an awesome time. It was so nice to see all the kids playing so well together. Alex made the most awesome cake, it was devine. I have put photos on facebook for you all.
Rach Oscar is just gorgeous and I got so clucky holding him. I could so have another. He did so well sleeping thru all the noise.
