Milo is fine so far, not sick or anything.
I wish we were going away somewhere! Im trying to organise visiting my cousin in Mt Gambier but with 4 of us now I feel its a bit much to stay with them - they offered -if it was just Oscar and I then Id think about it, but with all four of us I think we'd have to stay somewhere else, and with the kids that would mean not sitting up talking/watching telly at night etc so we'd barely get to see them past dinner :(
Neil gets along really well with them so he'd definitely want to come.
Hmm..I can hear gurgling sounds..Oscar hasnt decided if its bedtime or if he wants another feed.
-
Hi!
Tracey - Have a great weekend!! Glad you guys aren't sick...
Rachael - I'd take them up on the offer! If they have offered to have you all then I would go - you'll be fine - they'll love having you around and at least then you can relax!!!! I think going away like that would be great for you guys!
Hope you get a good nights sleep!
Louis is a bit better today...now Dylan has a runny nose as well the poor little thing...I think it's just going to bounce between us all for the whole winter! LOL!
Ethan climbed up on the boys little thomas trundle yesterday - cheeky little thing! He's clapping his hands and saying "dada' all the time as well - very cute!!
Quiet weekend for us - I'm heading to the shops tomorrow to try and layby some new clothes for Louis before all the winter stuff is gone...and I'm going to layby some toys - I went through a list with Michael and it's very short - going to be a lean xmas this year I think - LOL! They'll be fine though!!
Chat later!
-
Christmas - we are going to laybuy a trampoline and that will be pretty much it.
They will get a book or 2 each and a new outfit, but not extra stuff - it will be things that they need to have anyway.
Im so glad I got a Chrisco hamper for this year though - its more expensivethan if I got it all at the shops but with mat leave theres just no way I could this year so it will be nice not to have to think about it.
ETA: Kristie, do TL have the "When Im feeling..." range of books?
-
racheal...TL does have that range,i have it aswell it is very good.
It was great to see you all on wed.im sorry i wasnt my usual bubbly self...sooo tired at the moment.Things have been very strained between me and grant aswell so i am a bit stressed at the moment.
I went to tha sales the night before and got everything at sale prices aith the whole shop to myself and shelves fully stocked.i couldnt beleive my luck.
my kids are sick too but have been for a while now.its impossible not to take them out in the winter because of colds, cos they have them for the whole 3 months anyway.
Kristie,do you feel prg?
i will be waiting in anticipation for your result.
Racheal i hope things start to get easier for you soon honey.make sure you seek help from the doc if you feel it is getting a hold of you....we are here for you ok.
tracey you are so thoughtful for opening your house to all of us .im sorry i didnt help clean up this time.i hope it wasnt to hard to get it done,my kids had a great time.i loved the pics of jordy with dieago.
-
Hi!
Rach - hate to say it - but we actually don't have that range unfortunately....I have it as well but not through TL!
Nikki - How fantastic that you got all the stuff at sale prices!! I hope you've caught up on your sleep you poor thing! I hope you and Grant are ok and things settle down...xoxo
Umm...wouldn't say that I feel p/g...just know that we probably dtd anywhere probably between 2-4 days before ovulation judging by what the dr said...? I think it would be rare for me to be p/g but obvioulsy our fertility is high so...who knows?? Will know in another week or so I suppose...
4 babies in 4 1/2 years concerns me though - LOL! May as well commit me now if I'm p/g!! Actually, I think it would be ok but our biggest concern would actually be that we would need a new car - LOL!
Anyway...no point stressing about it now when everything could be fine...
-
Hi everyone, back from yarrawonga and we had an awesome time. We went up to jamies family holiday house and the boys had a ball. Jordan helped Jamie mow the lawns and Liam played in the freshly moved lawns and got absolutly filthy. THEY LOVED IT. The cabin we stayed in was great, had 3 rooms so the boys slept seperatly and they were knackered from all the stuff they did they slept in YEAH
Krisite You make me laugh cause nothing seems to phase you. I cant wait to see your results. Hope the boys get better soon
Rach take up the offer, a weekend away would be awesome.
Nikki I hope you and Grant get things back on track... I am sure you will. Everyone goes thru tough times, its inevitable.
take care everyone
-
Hi!
Went to the toy sales today...most of everything I wanted was gone which was a bugger...Michael had the day off though so was able to go on my own..probably a good thing though cos I haven't bought hardly anything!! I think Michaels going to build a cubby for them and I want a puppy so it's going to be a fairly big xmas with those things anyway...
Boys are still sick and Louis has lost the plot tonight - I think he's just really overtired or something - he was a mess at dinner...wouldn't eat and so didn't have a bath or anything - just as we put him to bed he said he was ear was hurting so I"ll have to see how he is in the morning and take him to the dr...maybe an ear infection???
Other than that not a whole lot happening...
Tracey - So glad to hear you had a great weekend!!! It's so nice to get away!!
Ha - we'll see how cool, calm and collected I am if I find out I'm p/g! LOL! It's so silly though - I'm noticing every little thing and reading into everything way to much when it's all probably just my normal cycle stuff...I'll be glad when I know just so I don't have to think about it anymore...LOL!
I won't do a test until next week and hopefully af will have arrived by then!
Hope everyone's well! Chat later!
-
Sooo quiet in here....
Not too much happening here - just sick kids STILL!
Am feeling crampy today...am thinking af might be on the way...I can only hope - LOL!! Did a test yesterday and got a bfn but it's still quite early days...God I can't wait until this week is over so I'll know either way...
Feeling very nervous and anxious about the whole thing really...with the boys up heaps the last few days and baby mucking around early this morning I don't know mentally how I'd cope with another one..I guess you do what you've got to do....
Will keep you informed...xoxo
Hope you're all well!! Chat later...
-
Oh Krisite I hope that this week goes well for you. The suspense must be the hardest part. The mind canplay awful tricks on you, I know that for sure.
ALl is well here. Work is full on at the moment, lots of work and not enough time to get it all done. I cant wait for sunday to have a day of rest.
Hope everyone is well
-
Thanks Trace...I'm losing my mind a fair bit! LOL!
Bugger you've got so much work on!! Hope the next couple of days go quick for you also!!
-
So I have had a nice couple days with the boys. I have taken Jordan to kinder for the last 2 days and put myself on kinder duty in 2 weeks. Liam is getting so good with his walking he is 60% there. Jamie and I went out to dinner tonight and our mate looked after the boys, was nice to get out just the 2 of us.
Hope everyone is well. Krisite any news?
-
Hi chickies!
I have finally got my new computer and am back online!
I am on placement at the moment and surviving it! the residents are fantastic - all high care though - but the staff are *****es and they are terrible with the residents! So rough with them and treat them like they arent people - talk terribly to them and do just the bare minimum! anyway.... 7 more days of placement to go.
Als pop died this morning which is rather sad- he was a sweet man, so al is taking the girls to yarrawonga to the funeral friday - i cant miss my placement time so i can't go unfortunately!
I am going away with some girls i went to school with this weekend which is going to be fun! We leave friday night and come back sunday - oh Nicky is coming too, we are actually going to be staying at her brothers holiday house in inverloch! We so have to organise a catch up!!!
-
Hi!
Cindy - Hope you had a great weekend away!!! Sorry to hear about Al's Pop...how sad...bugger that your placement isn't so great...must be hard seeing people treat others like that!!! Hope you enjoy your second week!
Yes, we really need to organise a night out for dinner!!
Tracey - Sounds great to have a night out to yourselves! Yeah at Liam walking!!
All good here - no p/g for me!! Af arrived last week..although it was a really bizaar one...very light and no cramping but af all the same...the moodiness was there with it though thats for sure! LOL!!
Nikki - Hope your going ok with night shift - are you still going to replace it with arvo shift???
Rachael - How are you going?? How's bubs?? Haven't heard from you in a while...
Alex - Hope you're well!
Just watched masterchef and am super happy Julie one - had a teary when her family came in to meet her!!
Chat later!
-
Cindy thats sad about Al's pop :( And sorry the placememnt isnt as great as it could be its hard when you have to work with people like that :(
Kristie gad you get the news you wanted then :)
Not much news here other than Im flat out all week, and on Friday I'm driing up to country Vic to go to a Christening on SAturday. Its just Oscar and me going so hopefully he will travel well.
Dinner out sounds good, I've been trying him with EBM froma bottle once every day or two, and its very hit and miss whether he drinks it or not. I hope he doesnt take 3 months to take a bottle like Milo did!
Work are having their 25th anniversary on 14th August and I relly want to go but its partners only, no kids so my parents said they could baby sit I'm just worried that Oscar wont drink :(
-
Hey Rach!
Good to hear from you - do you think Oscar might drink the bottle better if it's your mum feeding him rather than you because he can smell you??? Maybe you could have a trial run earlier than the date and see how he goes???
Let us know when your ready and we'll organise a date!!!
-
Rach glad to see you are well and hope you get to go out for the night would be good.
Krisite thanks for the news, I was waiting in anticipation. AF arrived for me also so no news for me. I was a little shattered to be honest.
Jordan has been sick today vomitting everywhere, Jamie had to clean it all up as I was at work. Poor Jamie. Will see how he goes tomorrow, might have to give kinder a miss.
I am doing ok, worked my ass off at work again today. So over working hard all the time and getting jack for it.
Cant wait to get back into school this week.
Nikki I have Chantelles jacket here, we left it al mums so next time we see you we will drop it off.
-
Hi!
Trace - So do you think you'll ttc for a third???
I think I get clucky feelings now sometimes because Ethan has settled down so much and is just so gorgeous at the moment but I honestly don't think I could go through all the hard stuff again...not with our little screaming unsettled babies - LOL! I'm really looking forward to the future now and having lots of fun with them!!! I'm truly so lucky to be at home with my babies enjoying every minute!! Very grateful!!
Poor Jordan!! I wonder what brought that on?? Is he feeling any better now?? What a bugger you're having to work so hard at the moment...
As for us...
I had a FANTASTIC day...family assist sorted out my allowance stuff and we're getting over $3000 back!! So that pays off one c/c and the other we're going to pay for with our mortgage (cos we've been paying heaps extra) and then we'll be debt free! Woohoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Other than a mortgage of course!! We're going cancel the credit cards so we won't have any so we can't get ourselves into this mess again!! Michael got about $1k back so that will be our back up money in the bank that will have to last until xmas...
I'm just so relieved to have it all organised and once they're paid off that will free up about $200 a month so we should really be able to keep on top of things!!
Sorry for our history of money but I'm just really excited!!!
Had a beautiful day with the boys...Louis seems to be gettng a cold AGAIN!!!! We haven't even been out doing much although he did start back kinder last week...it's just crazy!!!!!!! Ethan had his first turn on the trampoline today - LOL! He wasn't too sure I must say!
Ummmmmmm.....nothing much else other that I'm getting super FAT! I've eaten so much lately - it's so ridiculous...I'm not eating that much junk but I'm eating WAYYYYY too much......crazy!
Anyway...enough of my ramblings...I hope you're all well...miss you xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo
-
Krisite so glad you sorted out your money situation, thats fantastic. I wish we could get on top of things. Slowly but surely we will get back on track. Poor Louis, these colds just keep going around and around
I am not sure if we will actually try for a 3rd. Jamie isnt to keen on the idea so its all up to him. I am happy with my family as it is but would love to add one more if given the oppurtunity. I really need to finish school before I think about that anyway
Take care
XX
-
Hi!
Tracey - You'll get there - it has taken a long time to get things sorted - we're both very bad with money so it's taken a lot of mistakes to get to this place...
Good luck helping Jamie make a decision (LOL!) 3 is nice but I have found it quite a lot harder..I'm not sure if it's just because they're so close together though...everyone says that the 3rd just fits in and as much as he fits right into our family and we couldn't imagine life without him it is more difficult in that he sleeps and then dylan sleeps and then Ethan sleeps again so our whole day is pretty much spent with at least one of them asleep! LOL! In saying that, by christmas things will settle down with him dropping down to 1 sleep...I think that's why I couldn't do 4 - all of the things I'm looking forward to doing with the boys would get put on hold again...I've only got one more full year with Louis and then he'll be at school so next year will hopefully be full of excitement for him!!!

Hmmm....just reading back at my last post and feeling very shocked....
after getting sicker and sicker last night with a cough and cold and feeling a little off I re-tested this morning...
I'm p/g
I'm very shocked and have had a cry but a also had a big chat with mum which got a few things sorted out! Of course I'm also kind of excited...Michael is freaking out ....
I'm just spun out...I had af but obviously it was implantation...
Obviously very early days - maybe 5 weeks..
We're obviously the most fertile couple in the world...it's crazy!
Please don't put anything on facebook...I haven't told anyone yet...
Chat later...
-
-
OMG!!! I don't know what else to say other than Congratulations!!! talk about fertile indeed!
-
Krisite I will say congratulations as I am mega excited for you. I have no doubt that you will cope, you are a wondeful mum. Cant beleive you just had AF or thought you did?????
Gee, just when I thought we were at the stage when no one would be pregnant.
Our catch ups are just getting bigger and bigger
-
Wow Kristie. Congratulations I am sure you will both do fine even if it seems a bit of a shock right now.
-
Hi!
Nikki - LOL!
Cindy - LOL! Fertile is an understatement - it's fricken ridiculous! I'm booking Michael in for a vasectomy before this baby is born so we do not have to deal with this again that's for sure!!!
Tracey - Thanks! Yeah...I had what I thought was af for about 4 days - In saying that it wasn't normal - no cramps and not that heavy at all...so thinking back it must have been implantation - although I never had that with the other p/g's...I've been on the pill for the last 2 weeks and had a couple of glasses of wine on the weekend...so surprised!
LOL - I was getting excited to have a girls weekend away and get blind drunk...Now I'll have to wait another year...
Rachael - Thanks! I guess we'll have to - LOL!
Michael freaked out...he so didn't want to have another baby...but he understands that it was an accident (and knows it was more his fault that mine - LOL!) He will come to terms with it...we just need to make sure we look after our relationship after bubs arrives so it doesn't become a problem...I'm sure everything will be ok...
So glad I didn't start ebaying everything - it's sitting in a pile ready to go! LOL!
Better try and get some sleep - the boys are feral tonight...I'm so over them being sick!!!!
Chat later!

Hi everyone
Hope you had a nice weekend. We had a nice night out saturday night however I got sick overnight, threw up last night so did Liam. I have been **** all day, Jamie took the boys out and I slept on the couch all day. Not sure about going to work tomorrow, will see how I feel.
take care everyone
-
Hi!
Trace - Sorry to hear you and Liam are sick! Sounds like it's best if you have a day at home tomorrow!
Just a quick one from me...I have my scan tomorrow...
Not looking to good for bubs - have had bleeding and cramps all day yesterday and today....
Will let you all know tomorrow arvo what the outcome is...
I'm very nervous - and now very attached to this bubba and hoping that everything is ok but really I'm just not sure...
I never had bleeding in any of my p/g's...
Chat later...
-
Good luck today Kristie.....
-
I hope you got some good news Kristie.
-
Hi...
I had my scan today and there is a little bubs there - but only measuring 4w4d which doesn't really make any sense with my dates...
So I have to wait a whole 2 more weeks for another scan to see if bubs is growing...
I'm going to have a blood test tomorrow to check my hcg levels and then I'll get another one later in the week I suppose to see what's happening...
Feeling very confused and upset that I don't have a clear answer as to what's happening just yet...
Hope you're all well...Chat later!
-
Krisite I really hope all goes well with bubs. I have everything crossed for you.
I am feeling better now. Luckily the bug only lasted 48 hrs, which was long enough
I did Kinder duty today which was great, was nice to see Jordan playing with all his friends. The kids are all really cute.
Have a nice night everyone
XX
-
Thanks Tracey! I'm still bleeding so really not having high hopes at the moment...I had a blood test today so will get the results tomorrow but won't really know much until I have another one on Thursday...
Every which way I look at it, it doesn't really make sense...I'm so impatient though - I just want to know either way!! LOL! It's doing my head in!
Glad you're feeling better - that's nice you had kinder duty - I missed the last one - I didn't realise it was my turn - yep - I'm one of those mums! LOL...it's so hard though because Michael has to take the afternoon off so I can do it which isn't that great really...I must make sure I make the next one - it's so good to see who they play with and get to know the other little kids...
Ok...off to bed for me...tired and I just don't want to be awake...I can't believe how much all of this has knocked me around - from someone that wasn't having more kids to someone that is hoping and praying that this little bubba sticks more than anything...
Hope you're all going well - chat later!
-
i am so looking forward to tomorrow night, a girls night out at the club with some friends. should be fun. I have to work on the saturday but will have to grin and bear it.
I have a busy weekend jamies sisters bday saturday and then mums bday on sunday. we took some photos of the boys and my niece for mum and areframing them, grandmothers love photos and they are easy presents.
Hope everyone is well.
Cindy any plans for your bday?
-
Hi!
Tracey - Sounds like you'll have a ball tomorrow night!! Will be nice weekend with all of those birthdays as well! Have fun!!
Cindy - Ooh your having a birthday!! How exciting!!! Hope you're well - I've got your chefs toolbox thing too...I'll have to drop them around to you!
Nikki - I think I saw on facebook that harry isn't well?? Hope he's ok?? How's work going? Are you changing to arvo shifts yet??
Rachael - How are you??? How's bubs going?
Alex - Hope you and the boys are well!!
As for us...Dylans in the process of dropping day sleeps although he fell asleep on the couch this afternoon - was soo cute! We finally made it to playgroup today which was good -haven't been for ages!
We're all finally a bit better which is good - other than my nausea - which is ok with me at the moment! LOL!
Um...well, I had my second blood test today so will have the results tomorrow...first one yesterday I got over 5000 which is meant to be a good amount for a 5-6w p/g...so we will see tomorrow if it's rising or falling?? Still wont' know 100% until the scan but things may be looking a bit more positive if they're rising...I've heard so many bad stories though...so don't want to get my hopes up to high...
Michael still hasn't told his parents - LOL - he's too scared!!! He's still pretty freaked out but it will all be ok...I'm feeling a bit better though now since the cramping and spotting has stopped - I think it was like a constant reminder whereas now I feel like I can get on with things a bit better...
I've got a quiet next couple of days which is nice - we've been out every day this week which is unusual for us!! Bean's coming around for a visit on Sat (she just got back from cambodia) and then we've got my nephew's (Lachlan) 2n'd b'day on Sunday so will be a nice arvo out with the family...
Ok...enough of my rambling...it's so quiet in here I don't want to talk to myself too much - LOL!!!
-
We are all good.
Oscar has physio tomorrow morning to get his head shape checked out, Im a bit worried that there might be a flat spot so I will get her to take a look.
Then off to check out an acrobatics and dance class for Milo.
Kristie I hope you get some good news tomorrow. I know of a few people who've had lots of bleeding and everything's been fine, as well as the other stories that you hear. Its hard not to think about it (I had threatened miscarriage with Milo) but theres nothing you can do but rest and wait for the results
Tracey have fun tomorrow night.
Cindy - Im very excited about the shopping/cooking idea :)
Hope everyone is doing well.
-
Tracey - sounds like a fun night with the girls!!
Kristie - fingers crossed that the bloods are all good news tomorrow! Dont listen to the bad stories, I have never understood why people are so fast to share their bad stories no matter what its about
Alex- how did you body shop party go?
Nikki - hows channys mouth healing up? which tooth came out? Hows harry going?
Rach - i am on the case of cheap food shopping out your way!!!!
Well- there is no hiding anything from you guys is there - yep birthday sat, no big plans - I think my friend carly is cooking me tea sat night and then the family are coming over to my place sunday for lunch or something like that, no big party!
My sister had her surgery on her head today which went well- they got it all out and now she has quite a scar to show for it, 20 staples. Its funny though she has been given a face lift during the surgery and now cant move her forehead!!! Aparently the way that they cut the cancer out is how they do facelifts LOL!
-
Oh Cindy that is fantastic that they were able to get it all out :)
Happy Birthday for Saturday.
Oh I almost forgot my Uncle and his wife invieted themselves over for lunch on Sunday, heis diabetic and I have to find something to cook for them, then to top it off my other Aunty and her family decided they should come over too for afternoon tea!!
-
Hi!
Rach - Good luck at the physio - both Louis and Ethan had that but Dylan got away with it...I must say Louis' was pretty bad and he still has an odd shaped head, Ethans isn't quite so bad...it's so hard to avoid when they're on their back all the time...
Oscar must be getting so big now!!
How's Milo going - has he settled down a bit now?
Good luck on Sunday - diabetics eat fairly normal food - think low gi?? Maybe try taste it's such a great website and you can search all different types of foods...I'd be asking people to bring food with them if they're inviting themselves though - LOL!!!!
Ok...should have my results around lunchtime...chat later!
Cindy - I'm so glad to hear your sisters surgery went well!!!! LOL at having a facelift with it!!! I hope she recovers well...Any more news about her sinus stuff?
-
Physio went well, she is not overly concerend. She said there is no assymetry, just a tiny flat spot to the left side, s we just need to get him turning to the right a bit more on his tummy. He moves it fine on his back.
Good luck with your results Kristie
