Hi! Lol at not hearing the bell. I did that once at school but I think
I was in grade 3 or 4 hehe

Our bus takes 20 minutes to get to school and so far he has mostly been fine. It's a 30km trip but there are no traffic lights and only 3 intersections the whole way there.

The only thing I'd change is that they don't have allocated seats for primary school. Given it's a private bus and they're only allowed on it if theyre on the list etc I guess I thought they'd have set seats. It's been ok other than the second morning when he was still standing up and an older boy told him to sit down rather abruptly. I had the school call asking whether he was meant to be on the bus cos he told his teacher he wasn't catching it!

Other than that it's been really good and he is loving going

    Hi!

    Just lost my post...grrr!

We missed the bus this morning - they gave me the wrong time! He caught the bus on the way home though but I think he would have missed the stop if I hadn't stuck my head in! lol...
He's doing well - already has a girlfriend apparently the cheeky little thing! He's trying so hard to be grown up but he's pretty tired and has had a couple of good meltdowns...

On top of that he starts swimming next week...omg he's going to be tired!!

We have swimming on a sat. morning. I'm not sure how he would go if it was on a weeknight.

They have sport Monday and Wednesday so at least I'm keeping up withthe uniform washing and lunch making so far!

He's having swimming at school! I think it's like 2 or 3 times a week for 2 weeks!! He's starting Tae kwon do tomorrow but luckily he'll have a few Wednesdays off...
We made the bus this morning...So strange sending him off on a bus! Also nice not having to drive all the way into Mansfield though...

I'm going to head down to the community centre this morning and try out the playgroup to give the other boys something to do! Dylan starts 3yo kinder on Fri so that will be great for him as well!

    Hi!

School holidays are great! We've just been chilling out a bit! For I think the first time in his life Louis told me he was bored yesterday...I guess he's so used to the stimulation at school that just playing at home (and they were stuck inside because of the rain) that he didn't quite know what to do with himself.
So nice to have him at home though...I've heard him a few times with the boys sounding so grown up!! Dylan is so happy to have him home as well - he's really felt it this term having away so much - they really are the best of friends.

I'm enjoying the peace (and laziness) this week but next week will be a bit more busy with heading down to Melb, Dylans b'day and easter.

How are you going Rach? What's news for you?

Not much news at the moment.
M has been really good with O since it's been school holidays, I think he misses being home with him.

O is still obsessed with the bath, he climbed in with M, fully clothed (in pjs) on Monday night

Trying to get DH to look for a job, otherwise I might be looking at moving.

That's pretty heavy Rach...where do you think you'll move to? Or will you just downsize? What does dh think of moving - or do you think he'll get a job so you can stay where you are?

Not sure, somewhere local, or closer to school
Hopefully it won't come to that.
