eej, hi!!! I had a pap smear the other day and it has made me bleed slightlydid'nt hurt....but my body jsut did'nt want to be mucked around with.
on the shopping trip, I know what you mean, nothing fitting and I desperatly need clothes, hope you find something swish, I guess the biggest problem is the boobs?

Captain, I found the close age gap good, babies together, but pregnant so close was a bit of a pain, felt like I had been pregnant for ever, although I did'nt get many aches and pains, I guess everything was already stretched. Baby girl grew up so fast though, blinked and she was a big girl.... They never fought until just recently and no jealousy between them. But this 3 year age gap is fantastic, the kids love the baby and are old enough to help, they will remember special things that happened and tell nana and pa, Poppy is starting to interact with them, which is really cute, especially her brother. I love listening to them talk with her and sing, Gabe rocks her to sleep he is the new baby whisperer in our house, all the things that I will remeber for a lifetime I think, so I would have to say the bigger age gap, only because I don't remeber much from Sophie growing up, only what I see on DVD which is a bit sad, I think just because of massive sleep dep....

Had my US, seems to be more than one lump??? Main lump measures 2.5cm, by 1.6cm and has a thing in the centre which is 1cm???? Have my docs app on Wednesday to find out what it all means and the next step???? Feeling a bit depressed about it all and
angry, mainly with DH, not sure what his problem is (he may be worried) but he jsut seems to have removed himself from me, just when I need the most support

Well I thought last night was going to be a shocker.

I bathed Seven with Lavender oil in her bath, gave her a nice massage, and then went to bed to feed her. She didn?t want that. So, at 10.30 she fell asleep in my arms. I thought she would be due for a feed as her last one was at 8.20pm. I stayed up for a while, thinking that if I tried to go to bed she would wake up and it would be all over red rover, and we would start our nightly 11pm scream session.
Well, guess what? Seven slept with me (once I plucked up the courage to go to bed!) until 1.15am! That?s almost 5 hrs! Then, just to prove that she is a good girl after all, she waited until 4.55am before her next feed!

I was ready to call an ambulance she?s NEVER gone that long between feeds!!!! LOL

I also noticed today, that she is happy with the dummy instead of jumping straight on the breast at 2hrs after a feed, so this is AWESOME!

She is still a Velcro baby most of the day, but one thing at a time.

Hopefully tonight is a repeat performance of last night, even if she doesn?t go 5 hrs, as long as she goes to sleep earlyish and stays that way between feeds!

Pam, thanks for the ideas. It's such a big decision to make. I would have been pg a lot sooner after Danielle but we held off because of her birth injuries and we knew she would need surgery. But this time there are no issues like that so we're trying to decide what a good age gap will be.

Well it's been a bit strange changing to daylight savings time. At least I will be starting my days at 7 now instead of 6. I've been starting to get a bit more sleep now. Ashlyn went 4 hours between feeds last night so that was really nice. I've got the CHN tomorrow so will see how much she's grown.

Well, I'd best be off. Sounds like Danielle is giving her daddy hell again!

Eireann is a bit fussy today i always notice this when i have walked the boys to school its a good half house walk so I guess its effecting my milk she alwyas wants to feed more when Im doing the walk, can stress do it as well, we only moved in to our rental 4 weeks ago belongs to friends (well i wouldnt call them that any more) there last tenants left early they were on a month to month lease so well within thier own right to go. our friend sent them a letter letting them know they wanted them out the 17 of october they left the 9th of september but the other night they called in and want us to pay the rent from the 9th of september to the 6th of october as they say its our fault they left and if we dont pay it by the 31 we are evicted. we managed to get them to let us stay on till the 7th of novemeber but I am so worried about it all. they are trying to bill us for all sorts as well. we minded thier house for them while they were away now they want us to pay all thier bills

im sorry for moaning i dont think we can go by normal lease agreements as we never signed any thing

Oh dear Niamh. It does sound like a very stressful situation. Unfortunately it sounds like these friends are taking you for a ride.
I would call the residential tenancies tribunal to see if there IS anything you can do to protect yourselves until you can get out of there! My advice to you would be to always have an agreement even if it is with friends! I hope you get it sorted soon hun.

Well, Seven giggled for me today! I was bouncing her on my knees and making a clicking noise with my tongue. Apparently its funny! THATS going in the baby book. Im just disappoineted DF didn't get to hear it.

Pleased to say that so far we're having a very good and settled day. Calm prevails. Yesterday was a bit of a shocker with plenty of screaming. The days have been pretty full on but we're continuing to try giving Matthew my milk by bottle and extending the time between feeds. And trying to get some more days sleeps happening. My mother finally read the bit about crying in the book Baby on Board, which points out that a lot of the problem is over-stimulation. She'd been so excited seeing Matthew's first smiles and turning it into a photofest, and also to show him off to family on Skype webcam. She hadn't worked out that the screaming and crying that followed was a result. The focus is now on calm and boring! I still want her to have quality grandma time though before she goes back to Hong Kong on Friday. But I've also got to know whether I can have time between feeds to get things done after Mum leaves otherwise I'll be a cot case.

Woohoo Kell on The Big Sleep. May there be many more!

Captain, hope your CHN visit went well. What news on Ashlyn's weight gain? Matthew is starting to feel big and heavy in my arms and seems so much stronger. I'll be having to wrestle him to get his nappies changed soon.

Well, looks like another week is going to pass without DP meeting his son. Maybe next week. He feels terrible about it. It's so frustrating. Starting to think Matthew will have turned one before he sees his Daddy. My mother is not impressed and wants me to tell him so! So probably a good thing that he's not coming over tonight.

My best BB friend Celsie has recommended Moogoo scalp cream for cradlecap so I ordered some and it arrived yesterday. Fingers crossed that it does the trick and works as quickly as it did for her little boy (an overnight success!)

Off to express some milk while the going's good!

Niamh, the lumps are in my neck, thyroid to be precise. Kerry DH is not coming, but my mum probablly will. Strange.... I am not that nervous well yet anyway, kind of resigned to whatever it is, I guess that is because I have been told most likely not cancer and even if it is I have caught it very early.

Niamh, what is it with people i had a problem with my cousin about 10 years ago again no written agreement, (not rental related) it took about 5 years to get my money back, I see him from time to time but not the same as it used to be...

Kerry, your DP may be staying away on purpose he may suspect a pay out by your mumand not taking the chance?????? My mum has the tendency to wake sleeping babes, sort of oh LOOK now she is awake.. (yeah right she was'nt until you prodded a couple of times.)

Kell very glad to hear things are improving re:sleep I am trying to get Poppy to take a dummy, but not coming to the party. She much prefers to boobie herself into oblivion and refuses to take NO for an answer, great at night for our 3-5am feed because it means back to sleep super quick, but not so much through the day. Laugh about the Velcro baby I must remember that, I have one of thise as well, we are out most mornings so I carry the little poppette in a pouch and she jsut expects all that fussing all the time????

Captain, best of luck with your decision, whatever it is it will be the right one, maybe let nature take its course, how we got preg with Sophie!!!!!Did'nt want to go on the pill being older etc, first time no protection and up the duffthought i had already O apparently not....so much for knowing my body according to DH, never going to live that one down.

Hi girls, I am still here and reading but never a chance to post really as I'm still getting F-all help with anything here.
Miss Arabella is still sleeping great at night. She is a good sleeper during the day too, if she is attached to me.
We have poo and hopefully have to constipation under control now. Still need to go for needles, not that I'm convinced it's the right thing to do but feel great pressure from DF and all the stinkin family .

Sorry, not a hope in hell of catching up with personals but glad to hear that you are all travelling along just fine.

Just a quick one, don't have much time but I'm going to be offline for a couple of days.

Ashlyn's appt went well. The little fattie weighs 5.6kg, no clothes, and is 58cm long. I decided to compare her to Danielle's chart. Danielle weight 4.8kg at the same age!!! No wonder Ashlyn's growing out of clothes that Danielle wore for ages. She's still waking every 3hrs at night. I've tried settling her without a feed but it's just not working. I've tried getting her to eat more during the day but it hasn't changed anything. Anyone have any suggestions?

Captain ~ I wish I had suggestions for you, but I only recently had my own problems with that issue! It seems that since I started 'the routine' at night, Seven has been sleeping longer between feeds overnight. Last night she went 4 1/2hrs then 4hrs, then 3. She still feeds approx 2hrly during the day, but she is a real quick feeder then so I don't mind. Hope you find something that works soon love!

Sue ~ No help? I know how that feels. DF has been ok the last few days but I have decided that next time it all goes to ****, he's going to know about it big time! I am sorry you are feeling the pressure from DP to vaccinate. I still haven't got Seven 'done', and she was 2 months on the 15th! I was feeling pressure to vaccinate from DF and others, but I just haven't mentioned it and nothing has been said to me for a while, so I will leave that topic of conversation until it comes up by someone else.
I hope you find some way to all make a happy decision. I have pm'd you by the way!

Pam ~ LOL @ 'boobie herself into oblivion'! Seven used to do that, but her reflux got the better of her and now she prefers to be wrapped and snuggle her nose to the point where you think she can't breathe!

Anyone starting to feel normal again? surprisingly Madeleine is sleeping for about 6-7 hours overnight then she has a feed & sleeps for another 3-4.

Madeleine has started chiro for her back & neck as she was a little ot & i think this is helping her sleeping patterns, we are also watching her reflux as that is meant to assist.
She saw her MCHN & she now weighs 5.3kg's, so shes gaining weight like a trooper, i thought she had milk pimples so i asked, turns out shes teething.... currently 6 teeth are coming in, so it explains the dribbling & flushed cheeks and some unexplained cranky moments.

I've decided to EBM until 3 months, my medication would have stopped by then & my milk disappears without it, my MCHN agreed with the timeline, so i'm hoping I've made the right deision for her.

Sorry I haven't been by for a while. As usual I have been reading but not posting. Seems I am busy all the time but never anytime to actually finish things

There isn't really much to report hear we are pleasantly boring here. Molly is feeding well and seems to have settled into a routine.

We are heading to my parents house for the weekend. My mum has nearly finished her cancer treatment so I am taking her home to visit my dad. Will be interesting to see how Molly goes because it is a long drive..

Hi all, man, we had a shocker last night. I bought a Bubba Moe for Bella so that my hands were free to get some stuff done and she loved it so much she slept from 4pm to 0.30pm when I went to bed and she woke up when I disturbed her to get her out, then boom, she screamed til about 1.30am. We had a nice tub at 1am which I think was what settled her-phew.. She then slept for 6hrs straight, so that was good.
She is asleep in her swing now, think I will try and wake her soon cause she has been asleep all afternoon.

Kell - thanks for the pm but the link wasn't there...are we allowed to send links???? Hmm, I could kill df right now, he had the guts to remind me about how much a mess our house is . I am off to wake him to spend some time with Arabella soon so I can go and laze about in the pool.


captain - woah, 5.6kg, that's healthy. I am getting Bella weighed tomorrow when the nurse comes. She weighed 3.8kg at 6 weeks and I can tell she has put on a bit because her 000's are getting snug.

Donna - have a safe trip and enjoy your visit with your mum.

cj - I have felt pretty good since Bella was born cause she has always slept really well, cept for last night's shocker, which was only our second bad night since she was born. I am just hanging for her to stay amused for a bit longer than she is during the day so I can get a bit more done around the house.

Kell, you give me hope, no that you're getting some sleep after having such a hard time of it. I know sleep will happen soon, I just dont know when, lol. I've followed some of the suggestions that you were given, like following the routine at night with bath and feed, but it doesn't seemed to have worked. Ashlyn doesn't cry like Seven did though, she just lays there grizzling and wided eyed.

Sue, I love the slings but they do make it hard when you try to put them to bed. But 6 hours sleep sounds pretty good. I know what it's like having to do everything on your own, mostly because DH works away and when he comes home he's more interesting in getting his own things done than playing with the girls.

Donna, hope you have a good trip and that your mum is doing well.

Oh, it looks like I've run out of time again. It took more than 2 hrs to get Ashlyn to sleep (stupid trick or treaters) and now she's awake after 40min . Hopefully after a feed she'll sleep a bit longer, but I'm not holding my breath.

Sue, glad the bubba moe worked for you, how is it with your back?? Poppy does the same good sleepr through the day as long as she is attatched or pretty close and really only one feed overnight, thank goodness Miss Sophie can to our bed last night and woke her a couple of hours after her night feed, she eventually settled back but took around 1.5 hours, may have been better to get up and feed??
I am torn about imm as well, but after talking to maternal health nurse reluctently will have them done and hope for the best?

CandyJay, teething already??? But no teeth yet, I suppose they do seem to be there for ages before they appear...I think you have done an excellent job with EBM and 3 months sounds great, good on you.

Indie, hope you mum is feeling well and the trip is'nt to gruelling on all of you.

Kell, go girl!!! Give them men stick if they don't come to the party, I am sure they think it is a holiday, home all the time etc. Dh forgets that when he looks after the kids thats all he has to do, cause everything else is done!!!! So he does just sit backand relax in front of the DVD or does something fun.

Well my lumps are actually solid (bad I was hoping they were cysts) main one is pressing on the trachea which is why my throat is tired and sore, and I have another 2 on the left side much smaller thank goodness. I am off next week to the nuclear medicine dept to see if they are hot or cold spots, hoping they are hot cause then it's not cancer, but will have to be shrunk anyway, ((((((cold))))) well lets hope not ,absolute worst case senario.
Because I will be radioactive, I can't feed Poppy, I feel so devestated about that, she just loves to snuggle in and boobie and how we get back to sleep at night. This is for 7 days intially, then I guess it will be the same when treatment starts. I am trying to be positive but struggling at the moment, DH won't talk about it, which is a good thing I guess until we have to cross that bridge, don't need us both falling in a heap... but the emotional part of me is saying he does'nt care and the rational part is saying he is being sensible....except emotional Pam is winning at the moment.
Anyway had my vent and will solider on and hope the results are the lesser of 2 evils...
