    Hi girls,

Pam and Missy your pics are adorable. I put some up too. Some are from when we had the proffessional shots done when she was 2 weeks. She was so small compared to now.

Nae- have fun babysitting, how nice of you to do that for your boss. Hopefully Bella isn't too unsettled. Watch her eyes, conjunctivitus is really contagious!

I also thought Suzie looked pretty awful. 30 kg in 4 months isn't a healthy weight loss. 1/2-1kg a week is sustainable. Drastic weightloss just comes straight back again! I have been on the weightloss rollercoaster for a long time.

I have done something to my back, not sure what but it is really sore. Does anyone have any suggestions for helping with the pain. I think its muscular.

eej - my back is sore too and I reckon it's from Bella getting heavier. yeah I tend to agree with you on Suzie's weight loss. It doesn't really suit her either, she needs to be a bit chunkier I thing.

Nae - have fun babysitting. You'll be just fine with her. I love the name Bella. LOL

Well, I reckon anyday now Bella will be rolling around the place. She is trying so hard each day and is just about there. Nooooo, I need her to stay my little helpless baby for alot longer.

    Hello Girls

Pam oh you must be so worried hopefully your daughter will see sense and come home soon I worry about stuff like that every time i see a young girl dressed in very little i look at Eireann and think oh boy please dont do that.

Nic I here you Eireann is grabbing at things already i really want her to slow down esp being my last plus i want her to be little when my family see her.nic does a bus go any were near the meet up in pioneer park

we have moved house again lol ive been really down lately so we have decided to go home for a while see my family and see if that helps. think ive been so stressed over our friends turning on us we have sorted some stuff out but to much has been done to ever repair our friendship fully i think ild never treat any one the way they treated us. they gave our boys toys when we fist got here so i thought they were theres and now I have to give them back i feel so bad for the boys but Ill get them new ones.

has any one managed to shift any weight im at a loss i think my body doesnt want to lose any thing on till i stop breastfeeding no amout of exercise will shift any thing and im so down over my tummy its horrible i think ill save up for a tummy tuck after i get to a better weight so i get the best results.

sorry moaning away here, im really liking the new house though

I know, I know! It's been ages since I posted. But I have a new computer now!!!!! A lovely new iMac. Finally couldn't put it off any longer after a power surge during a storm killed my old PC. I have been checking in on you all though whenever I could.
Matthew is doing well, he's a cheeky monkey though. After being brilliant with the bottle, he doesn't want it at all now. So I've been back on the breastfeeding treadmill for a few weeks now. I did try different formula brands (some of them are really foamy and gave Matthew really bad wind pain so I gave up and went back to trying him with S26 Gold but he spits it out and screams). Really don't know how much longer I can breastfeed him though, as he's getting so much bigger and needing more and more. Tomorrow he has his three-month weigh in. Two weeks ago he was 6.5kg, so I'm hoping that he has put on the weight he's supposed to have.
Eej, I've got really bad back pain too at the moment. I think mine's from feeding Matthew in bed and being twisted up. I bought some "Nurofen for back pain" after checking that it's ok to take Nurofen while breastfeeding. It took the edge off the pain. Be nice to be able to get to a physio or to have a massage...
I feel very guilty but there's no way I can catch up with everyone for personals before Matthew wakes up so I'll be lazy this time and give you a group hug, love and kisses - and a promise to be on more often now!

I haven't been in for a while I will do personals once I go back and read the posts.

I've signed up to a gym & have been going 3-4 times, I have a program the trainers want me to do but I've been doing more of the group fitness as that keeps me motivated more. So far I've lost 21kg's & I'm hoping to get and 4 off before the end of the year, I've put myself onto a reduced 1200 net calorie intake, so the more I exercise the more protein I can eat. I just wished I'd done something like then when pregnant. Oh well there are a good few months of good weather so it's great to get out to go for a walk, especially where i like there are pram friendly tracks all over the place.

Because I've been going to the gym she's started creche there, she seems to be doing really well which is good as she'll be in childcare in 6 mths when I have to return back to work. Although she's got a terrible cold, she almost couldn't breathe at 4am this morning, so had to heat up the room to give her some relief. Poor thing

Has anyone moved baby out of your room? she's getting to large for her bassinette but I can't bring myself to put her in her nursery. She's pretty much sleeping through the night just have to re-settle her at 4am so it's no problem I just worry

    Hope you are all well

    Hi everyone

CJ, yep just moved Ashlyn into her own room. I was worried because she does still wake often at night, but she took to it really well. She was just to big for the bassinet and I was pushing it to keep her in there. I actually think she is more comfy in the cot because she settles a lot faster. Wow, sounds like you are working out really hard. Well done for losing so much weight!

Nae, have fun babysitting, that's such a nice present to give to your boss!

Kerry, Sounds like Matthew knows what he wants. Hope you can sort the BF out so you can keep doing it.

Niamh, I've not been able to shift any weight. It's taken me 2 months to lose nearly 2kg. I'd love a tummy tuck, but I will wait till I decide if we have another bub first.

Nic, yeah they are growing soo fast. I just want to slow her down. But then it is such fun when they learn something new!!

Eej, lovely photos! How's the back feeling now?

I was going to type more but it seems Ashlyn has woke already. BBL

well we're having a crazy time here. still hating putting her to sleep as she cracks it but then she's cranky anyway. trying very hard to hold everything together atm tried soy formula but finding it hard to stop breastfeeding or even to cut back on it so now boobs have gone crazy and sore which is adding to all the dramas. we're not sure if she's got secondary lactose intolerance as she got the diahorrea after her 2 month needles and has had troubles with wind and excessing bloating, etc etc ever since. but i really don't want to give up breastfeeding which is selfish of me and then everyone's giving me their 2c worth like telling me to start solids, telling me not to breastfeed, telling me to breastfeed and i've ended up very confused and have no idea what the heck i'm doing.

can't believe how big all your bubbas are. she was 5.1kg yesterday. she was 60cm two weeks ago, not sure how long she is now.

sorry i dont have time for personals and only for a whinge, i just needed to get all that off my chest. oh and i have been having trouble getting onto the forums sometimes, is anyone else having that trouble??

well AShton is laughing a lot now.
He had his DNA test 2 days ago that is a whole other story (which is now in the boo hoo room)
Poor thing has a stuffy nose at the moment so been hard to feed, ended up with a sore spot on my breast yesterday but today it's feeling better thanks to some wheat pack things for mastitis that someone sent us.
Sorry I haven't read it all, but will soon
Hope all the bubs are well!

Hey girls, I got my first AF today - waaaaaaaaaaaa, I don't like it. Has everybody else gotten theirs yet. Suppose that it's cause we r only BF'ing at night time now.

So damned mad atm, we had our truck vandalised with graffiti last night. It was sitting at the end of our driveway, thank the lord I moved my car up to the house before I went to bed. The same thing happend last holidays, cept it was our other house that got done. Stinkin kids wandering the streets - I am gonna wallop any that I see near our place at night.

Kerry - was wondering where u got to. Bugger about Mathew not liking the formula now, did your supply build up quickly? I am going to try and give Bella a BF during the day now that the kids are off school. It was getting so hard with BF'ing and driving for hours each day to get the kids to school. Most days Bella has bottles on the run - one of the kids giving it to her in her carseat

iserveanawsomeGod - mmm tell me about the stinkin advice being tossed from all directions. I posted a few weeks ago about my MIL telling me that Bella should be having farex now and that her boys were having it by 2 months - heck no, she isn't even nearing being ready and she's just about 4 months. Aaawww, u'v got a petit bub like mine. Am getting her weighed next week so should be interesting how much she is now.

missymoo - Sooo cute the little laughs hey, I'm getting bigger belly laughs now when I blow rasberries on her tummy.

CJ - good on you for joining the gym. I have just stepped up my efforts to lose the pounds, crap time for it though over christmas, but I am so over feeling yucky from the heat.

Niamh - not so sure bout the bus going to that neck of the woods, it is pretty out of the way. Don't know why it is held in such a remote place. So glad you have found a place to rent. I can't believe what your so called "friends" have done to you, and the cheek of asking for the toys back, that's just rude. When are you going to visit your fam?

better run and get some work done before bedtime. I have ds10 christmas concert in the moring, just praying for it to not be so damned hot. Bella just can't cope with the heat anymore. Lucky the bedrooms are air conditioned.

    Catch you all later. xx

We went to the baby clinic today and Matthew is now 7kg dressed and 6.9kg naked. I'm going to stop trying to worry about him not getting enough sustenance from solely breastfeeding. He's put on 400g in two weeks and the nurse is happy with that. Ironically, I bought an extra microwave steriliser last week and splashed out and bought a bottle/jar warmer.

Sue, I remember you writing about the vandalism last year. What a pain! Whereabouts in Brisbane do you live? Southside? My Mum used to live in Ferny Hills where the storms hit pretty hard this month and my Dad and stepmother live in Stafford Heights, near Aspley. No AF here yet, although did have a little bit of spotting when Matthew was 7 weeks old.

Brag time - I've lost 20kg since having Matthew! Back to my beginning of pregnancy weight. Now to lose another 8kg to be at my ideal weight. That won't be so easy!

Got to go - my dog's started barking! And she never barks.

    Hi everyone,
Well I've had some sicky bubbas lately.
Emme's had awful sinus' (just like Bella and me!), and Bella has come down with a viral infection.
I just hate it when they are sick. Their little bodies shouldn't feel that pain.
Emme's breathing is so loud, and I've been using the saline drops and nasal aspirator 24/7. I didn't know her petite little nose could fit that much up it!
Bella has been so hot and been downing so much water, she spent all day having fitful naps.
I took Emme to her 3 - 4 month meeting with the child health nurse and she was really happy with her. She is 60 cms, and 5.8 kgs, and her head circumference is 39 cms.
She couldn't believe how strong her neck was for all the checks and Emme spent the whole time rolling over on the pad!
Kerry - You lucky bugger. 20 kilos!!!! Oh if I didn't like you so much I'd probably hate you.
Niamh - Honey I've always said that people who target kids are the lowest form of life. Honestly taking away toys from kids!!! I hope they feel very proud of themselves. They are not worth the effort and I'd keep far away from them.
ISAAG - Don't listen to ANYONE when it comes to your baby. They may have the right to do whatever they want with their own children (as long as it's not abusive), but they are not the parent's of your child. Your child is nothing like theirs, it is as individual as it's genetic makeup. I have chosen not to feed food to Emme till 6 months as we have alot of allergies and health problems on both sides on the family and I want her little body to take this process slowly and identify triggers etc... I just smile nod my head and let people say what they want, and then stick to my guns by letting my maternal instincts make the decisions for my child. HA you should have seen my my exes mums face when she heard her grand-daughters name was Emmerson!!!!
I almost laughed for a week solid!!!
Re: Suzie Maroney yeah with the break up of her relationship and it being all over the over the media, I think there are a whole slew of issues going on there. The weight loss is not good for her body as the shock to her system could cause lots of problems medically.
Will try and post some more pics in the next day or two.
    Lots of love,
    Natalie, Bella & Emme.

    Good morning!

Thought you all might like a laugh. When I get Ashlyn up in the mornings, I like to give her some nappy free time. Well I obviously wasn't thinking this morning because I forgot it's been 3 days since she's done a poo when she normally does one every nappy change. I think you can see what's coming.......

Yep she pooed everywhere, no warning just did it everywhere. Made even worse because she was on her tummy and then started kicking her legs through it. So lots of wipes and a bath later she is clean again and soundly asleep!! What a great start to the day

I had to laugh Captain. sorry. LOL the same thing happened to Molly yesterday.

On AF in the last 4 weeks I have had it 3 times. In saying that it hasn't been as heavy as normal but definitely was AF. KWIM? Kind of annoying though as I don't tend to get any warning before it comes so I have to carry stuff around with me all the time.

Things are going well here. I am a little sad as Molly is growing out of her bassinette too so I have gotten her cot ready for her to sleep in. At her health nurse visit on Tuesday she weighed 6.3kg and is 61cm long.

yay time to post as bubby is asleep and wow we only had about 5 minutes protest - a miracle considering last night we had a 2 hour protest!!

ditto with Liberty re the pooing extravaganza. except that we live in a rental property and it went ALL OVER THE CARPET and the stain won't come out. oops. she did the same with sticking her feet in it, reaching down and touching it - gees it was a mess and a half to try and clean up.

no af for me yet. we're part-time breastfeeding now so it could come back but my periods were always all over the place and except for the 2-3 months before she was conceived, they were never regular or normal in length, time between them etc. (except when i was once on the pill).

decided to part-time breastfeed so I still get my booby time, Liberty still gets the benefits of it and she has the formula to try and heal her stomach in between. poor little thing. Her poos are so acidic they're burning near her bottom atm (and REALLY smell sour and gross). she sometimes rejects the booby though now if she's too tired hopefully this plan works as the aba reckons that you can feed through a secondary lactose intolerance but it will take a while. if it doesn't i may have to accept the idea that she will no longer be a booby girl.

nat & Nicambhar - thanks for your support!! i needed to hear that. got told yesterday at the shops that liberty is too small to be in a stroller with the thing only half-way back. She has reflux so i can't lay her flat in it and she's fine and happy in it. but after what u said i knew i was making the right choice for her so i ignored the lady.
nat - hope you and your bubbies feel better soon.
kbowman - isn't the average weight gain for breastfed babies like 500g a month? sounds like matthew's a champion feeder! congrats on the weight loss
missymoo84 - i read ur boohoo post, sending lots of *hugs* ur way!!
