:dance:I just had to come share with you guys.
Molly rolled from back to front 3 times today!! I am not sure when she will do it again because apparently it was the worst thing that ever happened to her
First time she rolled over she rolled off her little baby couch (lucky to be 2 inches thick) and she cried a little.
Second time she rolled over and it took me nearly 30 minutes to settle her (she really hates tummy time)
Third time she rolled over in her cot and got her leg stuck between the bars... that time it took me nearly an hour to settle her. Admittedly she was tired.
But it is so exciting.

Just a quickie to say hi.. will bbl for propper personals.. we are off to have photos done today now that bella is over the flu.

Hi Everyone,
It's been a crazy few weeks, madeleine now has a cold and I'm worried about her cough so we are off to the doctors this afternoon, otherwise she is doing well.
On all the talk of returning to work, I finally made an appointment with my boss to discuss return to work & I'm going to go back 3 days and possibly work a day from home... its in a new role a bit closer to home, I like some of you just didn't want to go back but have too. I looked at a childcare this morning & it seemed to be ok for her but I seriously don't know how I will go letting her go
Kerry hope your flight was good & you enjoy your break. We are driving around SA next month so hopefully madeleine will do ok in the long drives, we are trying not to drive anymore than 5 hours a day over the 2 weeks we are away.
Indie, yay for molly rolling over... madeleine is the same rolls & then cracks it, wont be long before they are crawling
eej, you've done a wonderful job BF as much as you have, I was so sick on those tablets its amazing you have taken them for so long
sorry have to run madam is crying, hello to all I missed

Hi
Just popping in to say I am still here. Xavier is sleeping and DD is at kindy so got 5 mins to post.
Xavier is in a routine at the mo where he parties in his cot at 3am for an hour. He is so noisy calling out and loving the sound of his voice.
He is constantly rolling and spends a lot of time on his tummy. He does 360 turns in his cot too. I am so not used to such a little mover. He gets bored very easily and needs to be active during his awake time. He hates being in the car seat too. He may like it when he moves into the forward facing seat. I think when I go for the 6mth jabs and get him weighed he will be heavy and long enough to move into the next car seat.
He is nearly sitting up on his own now too. Needs a little help to stay steady but he is nearly there.
I am using cloth nappies virtually full time now tonight I will be able to use my first night time nappy as I have a wool cover from BBH and a sandman nappy and they should be dry (they have been on the line for days but we have not had sun for a few days so were still damp). I have been buying nappies like they are going out of fashion using recommendations from the cloth nappy thread. I wanted to try a wildchild but cant seem to find any they are all sold out.
Niamh - glad you are enjoying your time back home in Ireland. Is it cold and snowing with you? Where I am from has had a lot of snow over the last few weeks.
Kerry - How was the flight? Much easier than you thought???
Indie - Yay on Molly rolling it is great to see them do it. Such a milestone
GTG sorry for no more personals Xavier has woken screaming

Just a quick post, as Matthew has been sleeping for a while now, (shhhh) but wanted to let you know that we have arrived safely in Hong Kong. Flight to Sydney from Wagga on the Qantaslink Dash 8 plane was good, Matthew slept on my lap for almost the whole way. Met Matthew's father in Sydney at the airport and was able to have lunch, feed and change Matthew and go to the toilet myself, without wearing Matthew in his sling. Bliss. And it was the first time Matthew's been in his dad's arms since December 8, so a big event.
Flight from Sydney to HK was marked by little sleep. While we were lucky to get a bassinet (lots of empty seats on the plane and Matthew was one of three babies on board), Matthew didn't spend too much time in it as he wouldn't sleep. He had about three half hour naps. I was exhausted (and so was he) by the time we met his grandparents at the airport. The airline staff and the airport staff were fantastic, though, from Wagga through to HK.
Off shopping shortly (when the cheeky monkey wakes) to buy a stroller and nappies.
BBL to do personals! Love to you all.

back rom the photo's... oooooher they are just gorgeous, and of course I got sucked in to spend $600 .
kell - great to see u back, was wondering what happened to you.. we have 3 different mcn's and I think I have found my fave ( thanks to captain ;) ) the baby beehind minkies, ooooh they are gorgeous, then my next fav is the bum genius. I have bella in mcn's except for night time but am going to give her a go in the bbh and see how it goes. I'm too scared to disrupt her good sleeping at the mo..
Kerry - so glad you are there and the flight is over. I can remember on a trip to hk this poor dad trying to soothe a screaming little baby the whole way and I felt so sorry for him. WTG Mathew on getting a tooth - wish bella's would make an appearance.
ahhh gotta run again to the little poo, it's dinner time. BBL. xx
-
Oh dear. My happy baby has gone. She cries if she can't roll over... cries if she does. Has spent most of the day crying and it is driving me nuts. Oh well can only get better
thanks for listening to my vent :)
-
donna - Bella is getting a bit pooey too cause she is frustrated. We bought a joey jumper the other day to add to our collection of things to try and keep her amused. Our house looks like a baby store - ebay is gunna love me in about 6 months time.
captain - what size magicall do you have ashlyn in? I ordered a M and a L just to try them out. The M fits, but for how long I dont know and the large is ok, just a tad bulky but they are still awsome.
-
Indie it might be teeth :( Poor bub.
Sue I got Ashtons done this week too lol $500 later... I got the disc too though with all the photos and the copyrights and pick them up next Friday :)
-
Good morning, I keep coming on here to type but never seem to get to finish!
Sue, I'm using Medium atm. They fit fine and I think they'll fit for a few months yet. The large are still in the drawer, I'll pull them out soon and have a look. I always get sucked in with the photos. But then I've only just got the newborn ones framed.
Donna, poor Molly, hope she's feeling a bit better. Yay for her rolling over. It's so exciting when they do something new.
Kell, good to see you back. Yeah, work sucks. I'll probably look to doing night shifts too, once we have the sleep thing sorted. It's hard, but worth it when I dont' miss much time with the girls.
Kerry, glad the flight went well. Hope you have fun shopping!!!
Jo, how did the sandmand night nappy go. The ones I have are starting to look a bit worn out and I might need a new one.
CJ, how did you go at the doctors? Hope Madeliene is feeling better.
Eej, wow you still have paid leave left! I might have if I didn't leave work so early. Oh well. When I went back to work after Danielle DH and I arranged our shifts so that we'd take it in turns looking after her. Don't know if it will work this time, but I hope so.
Niamh, must be nice being back home with Eireann. I'm sure she's charming everyone.:D
Pam, Poppy must be growing well, nearly size 0. Ashlyn seems to have stopped and hasn't put on any weight and only about 0.5cm in the last month. Though the way she feed yesterday that might be about to change.
Ashlyn is doing well. Still no sign of any teeth. I've started giving her a little bit of solids. She loves it and has so far had some avocado and cauliflower. Well, she's tasted it and rolled it around in her mouth for a bit. Not sure if she's actually swallowed any yet. She rolled from her tummy to her back the other day and had a bit of a giggle when I went into her room and she was the other way around. Well I best get ready because we are about to go swimming. That should really tire her out.

Captain - I used the sandman last night and he went to sleep at 6pm. At 9.30pm he woke and I was paranoid it was too bulky his little bum was huge and his legs miles apart so I gave in and put a sposie on.
I have used my itti bitti d'lish today they are awesome so neat and small and not bulky at all. I also love my imse vimse all in one's.
I have some BBH coming next week to try as a night nappy. I dont know what to do with my sandman. Perhaps I need to take some of the boost out. I really dont want to be changing him in the night if I can help it. Not sure what to do. I have pocket nappies and wonder are they any good at night or do I need to stick with my sandman and BBH with wool covers. They are classed as fitted arent they? I think from research I have done they are the best for night time.
It is going to be dry ready for tonight so I may give it another go. I have another brand cant remember the name may give that a go tonight.
Sorry cant do personals GTG Xavier is waking and not happy

OMGOODNESS!!! I had the WORST day!!! Firstly at Weight watchers I didn't lose any weight and I was so bummed cause I thought i'd done ok, then the family assitance woman got cross at me when I went to change our rent amount cause we got a letter saying it had gone up, but she said no its gone down I didn't know what she was talking about and then I realised (after I'd changed it with the FAO) that the letter was wrong when it said per forntight it was really per week! So its wrong now with the FAO! Then go to get my phone fixed cause its lost ALL my numbers!!!! and all the guy can say is that's weird...WTF so I say what can you do about...oh we have to send it off but you'd lose all your pics etc and will take 6-8 weeks. So cross and then the worst thing......I reverse into a cement pillar and severly damage our car! So its a $600 excess and we can't really drive it cause the left indicator is broken. We jsut got it back from the repairers!!! I cried and cried. I don't even know how it happened the pillar must have jumped out at me! I feel so stupid. :redface:I'm so glad Emily wasn't in the car.
Sorry for the me post just had to vent will BBL.
-
Erin, big, big hugs    I hope today has been better for you. I feel your pain about the car -I've done similarly inexplicable things while driving in the past. Like hitting a bridge... oops  Lucky that Emily wasn't in the car, what a fright.
Ahhh, looks like my time is up on the computer! The little prince is awake. Oh! He now has cut two teeth :) Will be back later :)

finally...time to post...
first of all we're fully breastfeeding again. little brag i know but i'm so proud of myself as not so long ago i only had 50ml of milk between both boobs as i let my milk go. ok ok so she'll only breastfeed lying down which means i've had to lie down on other peoples living room floor to feed her but we'll get there!! it took 7 weeks in total and it was lot of fun building up my supply again eating breastfeeding cake and munching fenugreek the not so fun was loads of hours pumping. the kick up the butt for me to try to perservere with it was hearing that the stopping breathing may have been caused by formula because of reflux. she hasn't had an episode since i went back to breastfeeding so maybe the dr was right? it has only been a week though so i shouldn't get too excited.
erin - oh dear that does sound like a dreadful day. i would cry too!! :grouphug: you did a great job breastfeeding for so long. i think anyone who pumps full time is AMAZING. it's so time consuming and can be thankless at times. u did great :) thanks for posting for me btw.
joh - yay i'd love to meet you when i move up to bris. its not till mid march but it will be good to know another mummy up there. are you southside or northside?? i heard that sandman was the best night nappy too?? although to be honest, i nearly always have to change nappies during the night or early morning as she's quite a heavy wetter.
tenille = how did ashlyn go with the cauliflower? i thought it gave them wind??
Nicambhar - i can soooo relate to your baby store comment haha. my mum wants to buy liberty a motorised swing thingy (which i think she's too old for already as she likes to try and get out of her rocker) but we decided even if she only uses it for 5 minutes its another thing we can add to the grumpy baby day pile of amusement toys.
donna - i just finished saying the "happy baby" thing to my SIL. i agree with mel, might be teeth? although she might just want to move around more now that she's had a taste of mobility??
CalebsMum4Eva - i'm the same with the mcns. its so addictive. at this rate i'm going to end up like mel with 148 haha just joking mel!!
oh drats have to go... hi to everyone else and sorry i didn't get time to post!
-
hey girls!! aren't they all growing up so quick!! It's sorta sad :(
I have been expressing and getting such dismil amounts its a bit disheartening! I am supposed to take my eldest to swimming lessons starting this Thursday and have to leave Ashton for a few hours and am so worried since he hasn't left my side yet!
He is cruising around everywhere now. Have to watch him cos he likes to pull on things like curtains and cords and stuff...
He has started eating now too which I can't remember if I said already? BLS and he loves his toast and banana is the favourite even though it stains everything white to brown! Have to soak so many tops it's not funny!
Well he is awake, yay for me. Take care!
-
Hi girls, can't sleep:doh:
Kerry, glad things are going so well enjoy yourself, you deserve it. 2 teeth now, he is a clever little chicken.
eej  sounds abit like the days I have been having????? Touch wood but so far no walls posts etc have jumped out, but have been known to in the past. OOOOOPPPPSSS!!!!!!!
Sue, I always walk away with the whole package!!! Not even close to enough places to hang more pics either....
missymoo, I can't believe how much Ashton is doing... Already onto toast ;) I hope you get larger amounts with the expressing, I have never had much luck as far as that goes, I think I have more milk than I can express... not good if you need it in a bottle though.
Lauren, yay for you!!! Amazing what can be acheived when you really want to, I hope that it does keep the breath holding at bay.
Captain, wow Ashlyn is doing well on solids as well, we have'nt even tried anything yet, Poppy does'nt seem interesteds?????
Indie, we have the same problem in our house, with being frustrated. poppy was okay until she could roll over and now everything is annoying her.
Hope all the bubs who are sick are gettingover it, I am definately not looking forward to that!!!! My little ones have only had mild colds, no gastro or anything, but with DS at kinder I am dreading what could be around the corner???
Poppy is rolling over both directions but only from back to tummy, then gets angrier after each attempt, like most of you we are pulling more and more things out to try to entertain her, but find myslef carrying her around heaps. I can remember the others, getting a bit cross except for miss 3 years ( who is actually my grumpiset now) she seemed to just get on with it. The othres were all sitting around now, but Poppy is'nt even close, she wants to lean forward whne she is sitting up???? So has to be strapped into everything so she does'nt face plant. Showing no signs of wanting to try solids, no big increase in bottles, or chewing actions, she has been waking around 3-4 am but only for a chat and a cuddle then goes back to sleep until 6-7am then wants up and no feed until an hour later???? Not hungry apparently..does'nt take after me!!!!
-
Pam I know the feeling of wondering whats around the corner! Jaidan started kinda last week and I am waiting for the gastro and headlice and sooo not looking forward to it!
Poppy will be rolling around the room in no time! Even though Ash can get around everywhere himself he still wants to be carried all the time which is ok when I don't have things to do lol
