Mel - Bella was due on the 9th of September but I had her on the 28th of August so just stuck with my Belly buddies...

oh my arm is dead, Bella took over an hour to get off to sleep tonight. She was overtired from a party we went to this afternoon. I think she has some more teeth on the way too cause she has sloppy poo''s and a sore ear.

I'm off to bed now too. Does everyone else feel absolutely exhausted by the time their bub goes off to bed? I feel like a granny going to bed so early, Bella is usually in bed by 7pm and I'm not too far behind her.

    Well nightie night all. xx

    Hi ladies,

I was cleaning out my subscribed threads and had a bit of a read of our old belly buddies threads. Wow it brought back so many memories. It was very interesting to read. We lost touch with a few of the girls along the way. And we were all so anxious!

I can't believe our bubs are so close to being one!

oh sorry I wasn't trying to sound rude Sue I wasn't in the belly buddies group so I didn't realised you stayed with them and went into a baby group lol... duh Mel!

Yes I know what it's like to be exhausted, except that by the time the boys are in bed I have to clean up the house. I am anal and can't go to bed with a messy house, I hate waking up to jobs that have to be done. Makes for a cranky mummy.

Ashton hardly slept at all today. He usually has 3 sleeps, sometimes 2 longer ones. Today he slept for a whole 1 hour... I am serious! He was so cranky tonight but still wouldn't go to sleep until 10pm!! He is getting his top teeth still. Just when I thought they couldn't be any more bulging and swollen today they look worse, they MUST be close to breaking through now, I can see the white through the skin. Poor darling. Lucky he hasn't been overly cranky today though.

The cuttest little thing happened today with my boys. I was sitting on here blogging away and the boys got really quiet. I waited for a short while then thought I had better check on them cos they were awfully quiet!! Ashton was with them so I expected to see him drawn on or them into something naught... how wrong was I! They were playing so nicely together in Chase and Ashtons room, building things with lego!! There are photos on my blog (in sig) I couldn't help taking a couple cos they looked so cute!

Lauren, that must have been so awful for you and Liberty. I hope little Liberty doesn't have to go through anything like that again. Big hugs

Tenille, I've been breast feeding Matthew during the day, at 10:30am and at 1:30pm, but he doesn't drink all that much at these times. I may drop the 10:30am feed although it is so good to be able to see him during the day. He does feed a lot at night and invariably there's a need for a nappy change about 3-4am and often clothes are soaked too. The broken sleep is hard but he needs his drinks. Bottle feeding isn't an option unfortunately. I too am hoping to be able to hold on at least until he's 12 months old. I am missing our time together, the weekends aren't long enough.

Nae, I think Savannah is a pretty name. There's a little girl in one of my classes named Savannah. She's very pretty and very, very head strong.

Happy 10 months, Bella! How's the kitchen coming along, Sue? Yes, I feel exhausted by the time Matthew goes to sleep for the evening. I pack his bag and lay out his clothes for the morning, then run about like a mad thing before collapsing into bed next to him. Does sound like Bella's getting more teeth. How's the drool?

Erin, yes, I've noticed too that a number of our bellybuddies dropped away, but then we gained a few too like Mel and Lauren and Tenille so perhaps it's balanced out a bit!

Aww, Mel, that sounds so cute, the boys playing with Lego together! Hope Ash's top teeth are through soon.

After taking forever to start crawling, Matthew's really taken off. I bought a Wiggles musical playpen yesterday from Target and I think this was a good move!

Nah Mel, I didn't think u were being rude hun.. It's been ages since the belly buddy days. Ohh those teeth sound painful for Ashton. I love it when my older kids are over here, they take Bella and play with her for hours. Yesterday she had her cousins to play with and I got a little break, it was awsome.

Kerry - I am looking into a playpen too. I can't believe how quick Bella is. Shes into drawers all the time. I was thinking about taking the handles off that's how desperate I am getting LOL.

Erin - I'd love to read over all that stuff again. I know I was worried for the whole pg, think it was up there with one of the most stressful times of my life. definately wasn't a relaxed and calm pg..

    Hi girls !!!!

How is everyone, I read back a few posts, and am glad you all seem to be doing okay, including all the bubs!! Remy is 10.5 months now!! But she was born on 21 August, 3 weeks early - we will be in France on a family visit when she turns ONE, so am really happy she will get to meet DH's family and be with them for her first birthday - the French go mad over Birthdays!! What have you all got planned for your bub's birthdays? I have no clue what to buy her - when I know she'd rather rip up/eat the wrapping paper!

Everything is going well with me and the pregnancy - had my NT Scan, which is a scarry one for me, and it came back low risk, as did the blood test. So am VERY relieved about that one. And finally the damm nausea has left the building, and I'm feeling fairly normal again - god thats the pits, morning sickness - you will all remember!!! I must be mad going there again!!! Started a massive spring clean (in winter!!) of the house, so sick of clutter everywhere, big job though, and here I am on BB "having a little break" lol !!

Nae - great to see you in here, and I love your name choice too. I'm completely stuck on names for either gender - we will not be finding out this time, so I have to have both bases covered - hoping for some inspiration soon! Really happy for you that your pregnancy is going so well.

    Take care everyone!

YAY! I wanted to come in here and update on the Dave situation

We had mediation over the phone today. Was so stressed about what was going to happen, dreading a fight with Dave about visits, but I had my proposal and my fingers crossed that it would go ok. And it went fine Dave agreed to what I put on offer which is good, last thing I wanted was to be running back and forth to a lawyer and court fighting him on it.

He agreed to 6 contact centre visits. They will happen once a fortnight on the weekend for 2 hours. Then I said after he's done that I will be happy for him to have him for the day but NO overnight visits.

He didn't realise we had moved, I had to tell him that and he didn't sound very happy. Oh well. He sounded very shocked when the lady was saying "do you know where Ashton is living right now?" lol

So in about 4-6 weeks visits will commence, then it will be 12 weeks of contact centre visits, and I will be more comfortable with Dave taking him since he will be older and hopefully not so relient on my milk

Mel -ooh I feel for you mate going through all of this with the x. I have another solicitors appointment on friday because my x decided to take the kids away on my school holiday time and only told me last minute. PITA cause I have booked a holiday for us and my family at Sea World - lucky I could change it. I think Bella has given up on the drawer handles for now , she's more into finding any little scrap on the floor and eating it

Lee - Wow, France, how exciting, can't wait to see the pics. Glad the pg is going well and the NT was fine. I'm with you on the spring cleaning, I am chucking out so much atm and it feels great.

AFM, heaps going on. Bella looks like she is getting her top teeth, she has a black blister thing on there and is being pretty whingy lately.
We are off to Sea World for 3 days next week, looking forward to the break. We are then off to NZ in 5 weeks time, will be bloody freezing but I can't wait. Need to stock up on winter clothes for Bella now because I saw yesterday that the stores are now putting in summer stock. Maybe I'll get some good bargains then in the winter sell out.

to all, hope you and bubbies are going well. xx

hi ladies, been so hectic lately I haven't had a chance to get on between work and the growing bub.

missy, how nice that things with ur x are working out. My SIL is going through similar problems & it's just horrible 3 kids & possibly losing the house. Hope your good luck continues

nic, yay for holidays. We are planning a trip to the Gold Coast at the end of next month for Madeleines 1st Bday. I have no idea how the flight will go both DH & I are afraid of flying.

AFM, well work is taking up a heap of my day and my house work & washing is falling way behind. Madeleine has been sick... I was convinced we all had swine flu... we had so many sleepless nights from her coughing so hard for a week so the doc gave us antibiotics & and she is starting to get better. Still 6 teeth & she desperately wants to walk & she yells mum mum all the time now just so precious (dad is not impressed)
DH has almost agreed to another bub so we are just trying to work out the best timing, when do you all think? I'm concerned about moving Madeleine out of the nursery upstairs to early but I suppose a new bub would be in our room for 3 mths... any ideas

Hope everyone is well & bubs too

Yay Candy! Seven says Dad dad dad dad all the time, but not in reference to anything, and that's it. No Mum whatsoever so you are lucky!

Only you and DH know when is the right time for you to have your next bub. Im not an expert seeing as I had 12yrs between mine, but I do know that you need to transition slowly, so that Madeleine doesn't associate new baby with all this change she has to make, like moving to a new room for example. Even little ones can feel the stress!

AFM ~ DH has put the nix on any more children for us. Ever.
We have had such a rollercoaster ride with Seven. In the beginning it was perfect, now, it's not so good.
DH has an 'adjustment disorder', and doesn't cope with Seven very well at all. He has only ever given her 2 baths and thats it. No nappies, no meal times, no dressing. Nothing, unless I am at work and he HAS to. Seven STILL does not sleep at night. Getting her to sleep is fine, it's the staying asleep that is the problem. I'm talking hourly.
Anyway, I have now just turned this post into about me and I'm sorry!

I can't believe how much everyone's bubs' have grown. It's amazingly quick isn't it?

    Hi everyone!!

I hope you are all well. Emily still has a nasty cough but does seem to be getting better. She is getting very demanding during the day. I can hardly get to the loo without her whinging and wanting to be picked up. Makes getting anything done really hard!!! Otherwise we are going well! She is doing well with her eating and we have cut out her mid morning bottle. Her sleeping is hit and miss, sometimes good night sometimes bad.
As for me AF returned last week. Wasn't keen to see her but can't complain after not having it since November 07!

Oh and I nearly forgot I have actually stopped expressing..made it to 10 months which I am proud of. I wish it could have been 12 but with going back to work I wanted to finish up. I am looking forward to getting some normal bras! I don't love the FF poos they are yuck!

    Hi girls
I feel like I haven't been on here for ages. Ashlyn is now crawling on hands and knees, though she's not to quick. Still more interested in standing. She finally worked out how to clap, rather than just hit her tummy and she is so proud of herself. Just gorgeous.
Oh it's seems I've been interupted. Will try to BBL when the LO are sleeping properly.
