my heart is breaking..
yesterday we called the ambulance and they took my dad to hospital because we were concerned that he was not well.. he admitted to me that he was in pain on his left hand side and i noticed his speech was slightly different.
the ambulance took him and after a long time he was finally given a bed in the emergency department. tests and scans were done and the results showed that he had infact had a major stroke and was bleeding from the brain.. it was definitely more serious than what everyone thought. after being in the emergency department for over 24 hours waiting for a bed to become available he was finally admitted to a ward. the shortages of beds in hospitals is just insane it makes me so angry!!!
my dad is so scared and i wish i could make his pain go away.
ive been trying to be strong for my mum but today when savanna saw her pappa she was so worried.. when we walked out of the emergency department she started crying cause she wanted her pappa and didnt want to leave him. i just broke down holding her and crying. i dont want to lose my dad. hes my daddy the man i love and respect so much!!!!!! i never prepared myself for anything like this i always assumed he would be ok .. hes my dad !!!
anyway he is in good care and i pray that he will recover well from this and go on to live a healthy and happy full life.
