We went to the surgeon today and he said everything is fine and it is just healing! The other doctor apparently had no idea and she is just having a bit of a tough time getting through it.

Nessa - Your ex sounds like my dad. Just remember your girls will come to you for everything - he is the one who will miss out.

Chrissy - Honey, I hope that Craig's friend will give you the space you need to grieve. If you want something later down the track maybe, but as everyone (but most importantly you) have already said, it's way too soon - and yeah, it was pretty damn insensitive to try it on now. Do you think maybe you wanting male company is more wanting Craig rather than anyone else?
Bea - Honey, the time will come when the perfect man for you will come around - I know it's hard to hear (you know I've been there), but give it time hun. Concentrate on you and your beautiful girls and when you least expect it - a great guy will come and sweep you off your feet :D And it won't matter that you're divorced, or have kids.

I have had some very tragic news. My cousin was due to give birth in 4 weeks, and last night tragically the baby stopped moving. Today she is being induced. We are all just shattered. I can't stop crying thinking about this little baby who never got to take a breath..........................

ness - wow!!! thats very early!! its ok i can be patient!! savanna is getting her last molars and man they are horrible!!
savanna has been having high temps last couple days highest it went was 40.01
i was sooooo scared!!! but she seems to be ok this morning. keeping it under control with panadol and nurofen. but as soon as they start wearing off it jumps right back up. she was sooo cranky and crying last night in my bed but she was still asleep. i cant imagine how painful it must be poor baby.
Tiarna -- where do i start!! she is such a little mischief!!!!! she has a slight cold at the moment but my lord she is soooo cheeky!!! she can now pull herself up and stand holding onto furniture and toys. she has also started saying DADDA!!! yes savannas first words were dadda too!! loll its soooo cute though!!!
on a sad note.. my dad had a mild stroke yesterday.. the neighbour found him passed out on the front lawn.. he was walking back from the shops and had collapsed in his front garden in the rain :( he is breaking my heart!!!! he drinks too much and wont cut down or even try to stop. when hes drunk he says such awefulthings about not caring if he dies etc... he loves his grandchildren but i just wish he could see how much he has to live for. he is only 61 and when he is straight he is so able and strong. but when he drinks he becomes so weak. i dont know what to do.. i feel so sorry for my mum to have to go through this. her mother died when she was very young from drinking...
i just wish he would wake up to himself before something tragic happens...
steve is such a softy when it comes to his girls... he went out and bought savanna the Fur Real Pony. it was on layby for Christmas but he couldnt wait.. it costs a damn fortune!!!! such a waste i think.. but try telling him that! lol
anyways better start on dinner before i pick savanna up from daycare.. steve is so excited about surprising her with the pony!!

belle, i offically move in 3 weeks........i got the ok today.
well i got the first house i applied for.....yeh....gave my notice today, and get this the street is called craigend st........very weird, and lots of other weird stuff has been happeneing, maz, you have started me analizing everything........but there was a game of pool happeneing at my brothers house with no one playing.......i think craig is playing tricks on everyone.
anyway best go and keep packing
Ok firstly a quick update. Had my Ob appointment today. I dont have gestational diabetes, the 2nd test came back perfectly fine, and all my iron levels etc are good, no worries there. Scan results from the twins were good, they are both approx 2lbs and they both scored 8/8 on some test thing they do. So they are doing all the things that a singleton would do and also the same size. My cervix is shortened and funnelling is shown(sorry dont know what they mean, but I dont think it is good). So today I went and had my first steroid shot, so I have a bit of an achey leg now, and I have the 2nd one tomorrow. There is a reasonable chance I will go into early labour, so they want to make sure that everything possible is done to help now. I am hoping to get to 34 weeks. But it would be nice to get to at least 36 weeks.

Nina's 2yr molars come through a few months ago and they were horrid. Poor girl was so restless. I hate teeth.
Just a real quick one for me tonight. This is the first time I've had the internet since Saturday, it crashed for some unknown reason.
My bf had a little girl today. She was 10 days over, and had a 25 minute labour! She only stayed in hospital for 6 hours and went home.
Gotta run, Nina & Heath are in the pool and I'm supposed to be going to get takeaway for dinner before they get out.
Meg - Thats terrible. I hope the induction goes well for her.
Chrissy - How is the packing going? I hope it all goes smoothly.
Rach - I hope that today wasn't too awful for you.
Jodi - I'm glad that you have internet back, I would have gone crazy without it for so long!

my heart is breaking..
yesterday we called the ambulance and they took my dad to hospital because we were concerned that he was not well.. he admitted to me that he was in pain on his left hand side and i noticed his speech was slightly different.
the ambulance took him and after a long time he was finally given a bed in the emergency department. tests and scans were done and the results showed that he had infact had a major stroke and was bleeding from the brain.. it was definitely more serious than what everyone thought. after being in the emergency department for over 24 hours waiting for a bed to become available he was finally admitted to a ward. the shortages of beds in hospitals is just insane it makes me so angry!!!
my dad is so scared and i wish i could make his pain go away.
ive been trying to be strong for my mum but today when savanna saw her pappa she was so worried.. when we walked out of the emergency department she started crying cause she wanted her pappa and didnt want to leave him. i just broke down holding her and crying. i dont want to lose my dad. hes my daddy the man i love and respect so much!!!!!! i never prepared myself for anything like this i always assumed he would be ok .. hes my dad !!!
anyway he is in good care and i pray that he will recover well from this and go on to live a healthy and happy full life.
please keep him in your prayers.

Ambz-Aww honey, what an awful thing to have happened. I am glad that you guys got him to hopsital even though you had to wait ages for a bed on the ward at least they were helping him.(cant have been nice though). That's so sad about Savannah. My body is falling apart,lol. My muscles in my hips and pelvis are completely relaxed, so I keep pulling them and hurting myself. Cannot sit cross legged and have heaps of trouble changing Eithan's nappy. Oh well not oo much longer(well yes a while, but it helps to tell myself that,LOL)

I cant believe our miracle baby is 2 today! Feels like yesterday I was waiting for him to arrive and now he's a big boy
He is spending the day at kindy today but they are having a party for him. His actual birthday celebration will be on Sunday. I havent even let him see his presents yet because DH wants to be there when he opens them lol
Only downside to today is that our beloved choc lab was stolen yesterday from our yard and he is devestated :( We are hoping to get her back as we cannot afford to buy another dog and Jett just adores playing with her.

Hello everyone hope your all good.....I have a crawler on my hands...big time. He gets shiaty now cause he's not going fast enough. Vy is using the potty flat out. I dont push the issue...never have with any of my kids..I wait for them to let me know when they are ready. She asked for her night nappy to come 'off' and then ran to her potty to do a wee.

helen - I can't even imagine what it's like carrying twins. How do you do it, with a toddler and kidlet to look after as well?! What's considered a 'normal term' with twins? Is it 36 weeks, or more like 32 weeks? My aunty had twins and she went one week over, and had a natural delivery. I reckon it's hard enough getting one out, but two, ****!! Do they induce you at a certain time? And how do they induce, drip, break waters, gel?? Questions, questions I know. Apart from my aunty, I don't know anyone else that's had twins. It's all so very exciting. How is the preparations going. Have you got their room set up? With they be sharing a room?
