Nina has all her teeth. Has since she was about 21 months old. Just before Emily arrived.
kel - Nina did the same as Jesse, was a right little brat when the last ones were coming through. For the past couple of months things have been really good with her. Touch wood.
here I was thining Jack was advanced as his friends here (may, july august born) dont have any of the 2nd year ones :(

Did I tell you about our pootastrophie the other night? Sunday night I think. Rans thought he'd leave pj pants off Riv since it was hot. Turned out to be a messy option. SO glad we had a rug in there, it's currently rolled up in the laundry til a nice hot day. :D

J has now developed a bad habit of not wanting water. Mum let his have watered down juice, and now he asks for juice all the time!! Will have to wean him off that one.

Hey welcome back Meg! My mum did that with Riv when he was really young, the watered down juice (and the 'watered down' part was debatable IMO). When I pointed out to her that now he wouldn't drink water and that was making things difficult for me, she stopped and worked with me on that.
It's still a great way to get him to drink if he's being stubborn (just a teensy bit of cordial or juice in his bottle). I think it's mostly psychological. :D
My best friend is coming over at 2 and ohhhhhh you should see the house. I wouldn't worry too much, except she doesn't have kids, and the mess here might put anyone off for LIFE. I can't really walk without having to step over something. Doesn't help that you could fit our whole house in someone else's lounge and kitchen really. Oh, and we haven't showered yet either.

In the past few weeks, I have found about 5 greys! So I dyed my hair this morning It is now "chocolate".
Had a bit of a meltdown yesterday. It would have been baby Will's due date, and my cousin was very upset.
Oh- and I went and spent a fair bit of $$$ yesterday, buying J's new bedroom suite. I let him choose his own doona cover, and he chose the one with cars on it. he is so cuddly at the moment. He comes up to me saying "ahh, cuddle" and jumps onto my knee.

Megs sympathy to your cousin and to you. Must be a very trying time,i shouldnt complain about my girls esp when someone else is going through hard times.

Shell - YAY on the Wii. I have just about paid ours off, it was meant to be for christmas but i dont think it will last that long.

I have just finished my first week of full time! I survived - just tired. Tiana is so happy tonight, very chatty and cuddly. Her new fav movie is the lion King. I think I have seen it about 15 times in the last 2 weeks...
J's new fave movie is Lion King too!! He calls him "roary" and goes and gets it saying "Roary!!" until you relent and turn it on.
James has been so fussy with food lately. anyway I tricked him good time yesterday and today. Made Salmon Patties with about 5 diff Veggies that he LOVED. He wouldn't eat his fresh fruit though, so I just blended it up, added more fresh fruit and made him a smoothie. He was saying "mmm delicious." So I might have to trick him more often!!
okay, just lost my post, grrr, anyway, I am still here, all is well, but not ready for this bub to come out yet. Sorry I did personals but now DD is waking up. Hope you girls are okay, Maz - have you managed to rest up, Helen - how are you and those beautiful babies going? Meg - hugs to you and your family. Rylee is a fuss pot with food too, what can you do, I run out of ideas. Shell - how is your pg going, are you getting tired with working? Marnikat - good on you for working full-time, who do you get to look after Tiarna? Caddie - how did your bbq go - it is exhausting having people come round isn't it, all the preparations beforehand, then all the cleaning up afterwards, I enjoy it, but it it is tiring. Okay, I am off to do some more Xmas shopping - nearly got everything :)

Sorry guys been sick and now i have been up with millana all night spewing. We had bbq's fri and sat night. Then mum and dad offered to babysat whilst aaron and i went for lunch.First time in 2yrs and our wedding anniversary. I ended up sick that night in hospital and aaron then fell sick whilst i was in hospital.I came home once i was given meds and then last night millana up all night and ruby up twice. I think its gastro and not food poisoning now as we all had it. Im exhausted so no personals for now.

Caddie- God that sucks, hope you all over it and get some rest. You and Aaron sound like us, think since Ash been born we've been out twice just the 2 of us.
Laurin- wow it is so close now, keep him in there few more weeks! Your DH gets back soon doesn't he? My preg going well, just tired as you'd know even more being on your own alot.
Meg- Yep we always trying to do some tricks with Ash, or we have to do some bribing such as no custard til you've eaten this much. Sometimes works sometimes doesn't. She decided she loves peas at the moment, after hating them for so long!
Ash is sick again, its tiring, I mean she isn't too bad but just seems to constantly get cold after cold, virus after virus, only will be well for like a week then sick again, then I get it and we're all tired.
Good luck to everyone putting Melb cup bets on. Ash cried the whole time I was in the TAB so just had to pick whatever quickly god knows if they're good odds or not.
Meg - At least he will eat vegies! Tiana lives on peanut butter sandwiches, cheese, yoghurt and tiny teddies. She will not eat any veg and the only fruit she eats is the occassional banana - but she has gone off them lately too. Oh I forgot the macaroni cheese (the single serve san remo packets) She loves those. I stress about it all the time but then tell myself she is helathy and not al all underweight so she must be ok!
Laurin - I am only working full time for a few weeks. I have applied for the position but unsure as to whether i will get it. Tiana is in daycare two days a week, I am home wed, she is with her aunties on thurs and fri and John is home with her on Sat. Bit of a marathon but it works.
Shell - Hope Ash gets better soon.
Caddie - Hope you got some rest and are feeling better.
Maz - Are you feeling better?

we are offically putting the house on the marker on monday!!! if it sells quick then i will have to go live with mum and dad til the other house is built (rob a month or so) which will be so nnice.. having built in baby sitters and some actual adult conversation!!!! and i will be able to save some money!!!
on the sad side for me today is meant to be my 3rd wedding anniversary.. im really not sure what i am meant to think or feel.. just feel really confused about about everything.

Ness hugs to you hun - I don't think anyone knows how to feels on days like these, it is such a huge mix of emotions, just be kind to yourself, let yourself grieve and be sad if you are feeling that way, and enjoy your beautiful girls who are the best thing ever to come out of all of this:)

Went shopping today, and bought Emily a little seat thingy for the pool. She's gonna love it. Also caved in and bought Nina a Elmo live thingy for christmas, and a dvd, which I'll give to her today. She's obsessed with Elmo ATM.
Maz- Try and get some time to yourself just so you can get your body rested and recouperated. Think you need nice massage or something nice.
Ness- :hug: Hope you spent up big on lots nice things for yourself. It will be a day of mixed emotions. Try focus on the positive.
Hope the house sells quickly, how are they selling in your area? Where I am things have slowed so much.
Marni- Maybe try the smoothie idea on Tiana, Ash loves them too, great way to sneak in fruit. I also bought Ash some of those Vilish soups to sneak in the vegies.
Bought Ash her big girl bed today, hopefully will come before xmas but could be up to mid January. Next to get matress and doona.

My SIL had her daughter yesterday!! Luca Cloe. She is very cute and looks a little like ruby! So now i have a neice to spoil! I too bought some cloth nappies,wipes,breast pads and stuff i made to put in a little basket! I also sent her a bunch of flowers that were actualy socks,onesies wrapped to make it look like a flower. It was way cool!!
Way cool Ness - You would have had a great day shopping! I juswt paid some money on lay-bys and lay-byed a set of red sheets from Target today! How is it that shopping makes us feel so much better?
Thanks for the idea Shell - but she doesn't drink smoothies. All she will drink is milk and water. I'm really not that worried though - she seems to be growing.

Ness- I am going pretty well actually, still have my anxieties, but trying to work through being more positive and focusing on the good and not the bad. I hope today was alright for you. Good news that you can have a bit of help with moving in with your parents. I don't know how you manage with 3 young children on your own.
Caddie - I hope that you are all on the mend. After having 3 lots of gastro through this house in the last 4 months I know how you feel.

I am not sure that I mentioned, but while I was in NZ, I had a small bleed. Anyway ended up at the 24 hour clinic, and it turns out I had severe thrush. Never been so pleased the have thrush before!!! Also as I had just got over gastro AGAIN they aid that it could have also been a factor in the thrush being so bad. Anyway all good now.
Not much else to report here. Worked today. Oh- and DH won $460 on the cup, so that's good. Melb girls - Is anyone going into the City on the weekend to see Santa's arrival?? I think I might, as they are doing a Madagascar show and J is Loving Lions at the moment, and i have a few things that I needed to do in town anyway.
