Gee Caddie, you are observant. Just noticed that too now that you have mentioned it!!

I have to go to the geneticist today. I am really hoping that all is alright and that the baby doesn't have the risk of a genetic disease, or it is a lot of tests really FAST to get some answers, nad then go from there.

Thanks Helen. I have to go because my first cousin had a late loss nearly 3 months ago, and they just got their results and it may be a genetic disease. They get their full results on 7th Jan, but my obs doesn't want to risk me waiting that long in case it is something that I carry as well.

AnnaT- Everyone must be as nosey as me cause yr PM box is full and now I am dying to know the secret, even if it is none of my business.

Meg- Good luck with the tests, at least you have good Dr that will look into these things and not just ignore it. I'm sure everything will come back ok.

Helen- Oh god how you coping on little sleep and sick kiddies?! Do the twins usually feed and sleep much the same time at night or are you up with one then the other?

I feel so lethargic today, this weather really gets to me, my legs felt so weak thought they'd give way! Don't think I'll ever be able to live up north! Maybe antartica for me.

Nelle- I meant to ask how yr church service went, end up organising it well?

Hi, Thanks everyone for your thoughts
Had my genetics stuff today. Basically they took about 6 tubes of blood, and now I have to wait for the results. Some of them could be a few weeks away, and my cousin will have further results by 6th Jan, so when she gets hers, she will let me know asap. So a bit of a waiting game now.
On the positive side, I haven't heard anything from my Obs, and they said they would call if my GD test was positive. Comsidering I had the test last Wednesday, you think that I would have heard by now.

Annat - I would love to know your secret, so send me a PM only if you are really comfy in spilling the beans. I hope it is a good secret, and everything is alright. You have got me a bit worried from your post.
Better go, I have a naughty 2yo, not so keen on going to bed.....

Ohh I had a naughty toddler tonight too Meg, he kept climbing. I took his toy baskets out of his room, which mightily peeved the young lad. He had nothing left to climb up on!

Thanks for asking Shell, it went brilliantly.

Well aren't you all secretive Annat! Hope it's fun and good. Are you moving again maybe?

I have FINALLY got the Christmas tree up now that Rans is on hols. We'll see how much grief Riv gives me about it tomorrow. Need to finish wrapping pressies now.

Whoa, how'd it get to 1am? I'm going to bed!

I can say something now about my secret, I had to wait til a decision was made and provided no one mentions it on my facebook Im pretty sure Im safe to post it here...........

Im going to be an Aunty in july!

Alot sooner than I ever expected but thems the brakes eh. My little sister (21) is pregnant, unplanned and the father isnt interested (which she knew would happen and is cool with) but its been a rough few days since she told me while she tried to come to a decision about what was best for them. Now its made and Im excited and worried for her, but I get to be there when s/he is born which is way cool She'll be a great mum, adores my boys as if they were her own and kids love her! I told her once she gazes at that tiny face she'll know in her heart they'll be happy together but that she'll alway wonder if she's doing the right thing - WE ALL HAVE havent we ladies? Its what parenting is, guesswork and a whole lot of praying I'll be there for her 200% and our door is always open if she needs to come here.

So I wont be able to make it to Melb in May I want to be able to go down for the birth and as much time as I can afterwards as Im the only recently-kid-having person she knows. Will have to bring River as a tag-along but how cool he gets a cousin 3mths younger than him! I always thought my boys would be in school before cousins.

Good to hear she's settled on a decision Anna. I'm sure with your help and guidance, she'll be ok.

That's great she's made a decision Anna. It can be a tough road as I've said, but I'm sure she won't regret it, especially when she sees that gorgeous little baby. And I'm sure you'll be a great aunty and a great support for her when bubby arrives.
