Maz - I hope you had a good day with your little boy. I know this birthday would be a particularly special milestone for you.

AnnaT - Glad you had a good time.

J is off to my mums tomorrow. She is going to keep him there till Thursday. So that's great. I want sleep! (Even though I will be working during those days, work is easy compared to a 2yo)

Today was our 6th Wedding anniversary, and I forgot! Well I remembered late yest when DH reminded me. How bad. I just think that I am caought up with my Cousin getting her blood test results on if it was a genetic order that her bub died from, that I have sort of forgotten about everything else. Anyway DH and I are going to go catch a movie and dinner on Tues, while J is with mum.

Oh - and mum also asked if she can have J for the australia day weekend as she is going away and wants to take him, so i said "of course!" I will go to the races at Hanging Rock on Aust Day. (only 15 mins from here)

Meg- So did you find out the results? Or is that this week? Happy anniversary, can understand with so much going on that it can slip your mind.
Does yr mum wanna take Ash away also, lol, I could do with a break.

AnnaT- Yay on having great time, saw pics on FB, Df proposed to me in Karunda.

Maz- Saw pics on FB too of Mats birthday, looked like a great day, its exciting to see how well he is doing after the year you've had.

Caddie- Lol, I love packed to rafters, I keep joking to mum and dad we're all moving back in and they don't like the thought of it.

We spent the whole day putting together trampoline for Ash, we bought one with Ash's xmas money, got 25% off woohoo. She loves it but was bloody hard work.

    Happy New Year to everyone.

Happy Birthday to Ripley and Mateauz.

Amz-Yah on building a house, we are in the process of doing it as owner builders, such a massive headache, it is taking me ages to draw up plans. Hope the garden gets some lawn for your 2 precious girls soon.

Take care pregnant ladies in this heat. Still have sick bubs here, but getting a bit better.

aww helen i cant imagine how stressful and draining that would be!!! how are you managing??

as for the lawn.. well we have decided against grass and are building a playground area in the backyard with fake turf. the type they use in childcare centers. its bloody expensive though!! but so worth it for our little ones. We are fencing the playground off too so the dogs cant get in there. lots of work to do!!
also paving and a pergola going in this month .. arghhh
and for the front yard we are doing a low maintenance garden with white rocks and a palm tree as a feature. ill have to post pics once its done

    yikes so hot today!!
