I haven't heard from Sharle lately. Can you do a member search and see when she was last on?

Maybe you got removed cos we're all jealous of you and your fancy pants trip to the US Anna. Can't wait to hear all about it!!

Mmm Saturday brunch and shopping sounds delightful. I love shopping.

Riv's less and less interested in a day nap these days, but I can get him to snooze on his kiddy couch in the lounge. He's currently watching playschool under a blanket and sucking his thumb. I'm hopeful he'll snooze - he needs it! He's a feral when he doesn't nap.

Yeah Ash hasn't had day sleep for months either she does sleep well at night tho so won't complain.

MrsT- I'm so jealous, can I come in your suitcase?

Belle and Helen- FIL much same at moment, very frail and lethargic but still able to get out of bed just can't walk more than few steps. He's not in pain or anything so thats good. Thanks for asking.

    How are your girls Belle?

Helen- When do you start building? Thats pretty exciting, you and Nelle can compare notes.

Chrissy- happy birthday to Liam. How are you going?

Ash been bit naughty, we go library story time each week and yesterday she kept running round being loud and being rude to me when I told her to be quiet, even library lady asked her 3 times to be quiet. Anyway in end she practically got asked to leave and so there I was trying to carry Em and drag Ash out while she had a tantrum over having to leave. Then last night was refusing to go to bed yelling no and lying on ground, think she was testing boundries! Better behaved today but was bit off this arvo had mild temp but was better after panadol.

No day sleeps here either, not for months and months!

I reckon we should plan to have a big meetup the year all the kids turn 5. Sort of like a "Yay we survived - now they go to school YIPPEE!" thing

Maybe, just maybe I might get to meet some of you at the August brissy meetup if we get posted there........

oh I like that idea Anna...we can have a huge birthday party for them then.

OH shiat Shell. I go through the no thing but Vy is so quiet in public and painfully shy. What did you end up doing when she went off? I need tips just incase it happens that all

Maz- It wasn't fun! In the end I just said we are going home because you've been naughty and rude to mummy and dragged her outta there. At least now she knows cause she keeps saying next time library and about being good! I've just learnt with Ash that if I make threats I need to follow them thru so she knows mum isn't to be messed about with.

"Yay we survived - now they go to school YIPPEE!" thing
PMSL, sounds like good idea tho. Can we have in another state from me I want a holiday excuse!

I like the idea of a 5 year yay they are going to shcool thing

Shell - Naughty Ash. At least she knows she did the wrong thing.

Mrs T - Where in the States are you going? I worked in NYC a while back and just LOVE itthere. I also did a whole lot of other travel around the States.

I think Laurin may be in NZ at the mo. I remember her saying something about going on the plane with the 2 kids on her own.

Belle - Great to hear from you. I am doing pretty well. No signs of PND this time, just the normal mummy stuff...

Hi to all the lurkers. Shar, Rach, Kell,

DH has got a referral to go and have the snip. So def no more kids for us!

    Hey all

Shell- ahh you should see Annika's tantrums.. her and Teleah time them too so they go of together , were mummy very thin sometimes. but we have one ever day at kindy when Annika doesnt want to leave so i normally have Millana in my arms and Annika being dragged out to the car kicking and screaming, not fun but cant do anything about it.

Maz- i was one that removed themself from the group.. I did it cause i wasnt able to come and felt like i was intruding.. no other reason (was kinda jealous actually)

we dont have day naps here either anymore

So what is everyone dooing for mothers day? I dont actually have my kids til after lunch but i guess that means sleep in

I want Df to get the snip, he always said after 2nd child he would and now time has come he now says no one is touching it, think he has that view in his mind that he'll lose his manliness if he is shooting blanks, ifykwim.

Ness- see it as a nice quiet sleep in then can spend arvo with the kids. Not sure what I'm doing, resting and playing wii fit probably! sometimes if Ash chucks a fit over having to leave somewhere I tell her to stay and I'll leave her there, worked for awhile til the park one day when she said ok and ran off to play, even when I walked off she didn't care! Lol.

A sleep-in sounds delightful Ness! Rans has gone shopping for his mum and our boys' mum, and dropped the boys at mum and dad's so I can get the house clean without interruption...as you can see I'm taking the cleaning very seriously.... SILENCE! BLISS! I called Rans and said not to worry if he couldn't get a pressie for me, today is enough!

*giggles* at Ash's tantrums. Riv is learning heaps of new things here. Can unlock the deadbolt and wire door (which was handy when I locked myself out yesterday, he just toddled out and let me in), nicks screwdrivers and unscrews things if they're loose enough and is pegging pegs on everything.
Still no talking though. Trying to teach him the sign language for please. Someone remind me to book the boys into the MCHN this week...

Anyway. Time for a new thread!
