Not good mothers day here, Df not coping about his dad, it hit him when he took him in a wheelchair to the footy friday night so he has been drinking all weekend, his usual way of dealing with things which I think just makes things worse, anyways its just another day for me!

Good to see you all getting spoilt!

Kell- I was wondering how yr FIL was, I always think about him cause they were both diagnosed around same time. Good to see he is still going on, I remember awhile back it didn't sound like he was doing so well. Glad your loving your new house.

Jodi- yay on new wardrobe, lucky you, after each child my bum and hips have spread so need new things!

    Welcome Heavenly!

Shell.. yeh hes still hanging in there. Has good days and bad days. Forever coughing but i think thats something that he'll never pass being he has lung cancer. Hes still on his cancer tablets and also morphene. Plus steriod tablets as he lost so much weight to build him back up a bit. He the type of man, being an ex cop, that doesnt like to show his pain. But he fighting it pretty well being he was given a year to live february 07. Well hun, hope you just get some time to sit and have a cuppa today.

Jodi.. haha i may take you up on that next time i need a vacation! Jesse is the exact same as Nina. Hes very protective of Keira.. its so nice hey.

For mothers day i got sme shoes, a jacket and a very spiffy kettle. Has different settings on it for whatever type of cuppa youre making, green tea, normal tea, black tea, coffee etc. lol very high tech kettle! Plus breaky in bed with my 2 little darlings and a sleep in until 10am! Woah! I havent slept that long since before i was pregnant with Jesse.

    xx

That is one fancy kettle Kell!

Hope everyone's M-Days have been good! Mine started okay but then I had the worst ever tummy cramps so spent the day in bed! I suppose that was good? Not sure what it was, gastro without the bodily functions or a whirlwind bug or food poisioning...who knows. I had a great excuse to sleep and it ensured I got pampered - about to have some yummy bacon potato garlic who-knows-what-else mash that Rans made. It smells delicious, and we'll eat it after Rans has put the boys to bed.

It sounds like most people had a great mothers day.
Chrissy - your story made me laugh, even though it wasn't your "ideal" mothers day, it sounded like their heart was in the right place.

Kell - It sounds like you are doing really well with the kiddies.

Shell - Maybe DF needs to give you mothers day next weekend instead??

    Heavenly - Welcome!

Ness - I saw on FB that you caught a mouse. We have killed 16 so far in the past two weeks. we seem to be having a plague.

Well my MD was Ok I suppose. Miss E didn't go to sleep till about midnight the night before. I think she was waiting up to wish me a happy mothers day. J stayed at MIL, so at least I only had to deal with 1. Then I slept in till about 10, but with E in my arms as she had been so upset. So woke up really stiff and sore.
J made me a nice prez at playgroup, so that was really lovely. I also got a nice new wallet.
J is currently in his jarmies. He is refusing to get changed. Oh well, looks like he is going to palygroup in jarmies!
He seems mega hyperactive lately. Anyone elses' child seem to have suddenly gone hyper? I am going to try and change his diet and see if it makees a difference.
I also think he is overtired, as he is still having the nightmares, so probably not in a good deep sleep.
