Ness - I might have to go to Dimmee's and have a looksie tomorrow now lol
Nelle - Good to see you've got your vehicle priorities in the right order :p ... the best bit about the cup holders in the AU is that they hold all different sized cups, most cars only hold cups the size of coke cans etc.
Rikki - Ainsleigh must be close to 9kgs by now. Have you thought about trying her on something other than rice cereal? As far as I am aware there are no rules saying not to for first foods - just that it be something of low allergen risk and of puree texture. Maybe she just isn't ready, but who can figure out these little people huh?
Shell - Drink lots of water and hopefully that headaches will p*ss off. BF'ing is draining enough without copping a headache as well.
Ambz - Xander cries a bit in his sleep, and I've been wondering if it is dreams. It's either that, or maybe something he ate.. but as he has had no other signs of food disagreeing with him, I doubt that is the problem.
Chrissy - SO what do you do when you don't all fit in a Tarago? Take another car?
Maz - What is dimmeys?
Jodi - I think that if Nina can sit up whilst holding on that she may be ok in a trolley seat as she could hold onto the trolley. Maybe worth a try, you can always take her out if she isn't happy.
Last day of antibiotics here today.. phew. Poor little Xander was starting to get the sh*ts from them as well as a bit of vomiting (they were pretty strong drugs and even made me feel sick), am going to give him some baby yoghurt tomorrow to try and balance his good bacterias that have probably been all killed off. Still, it was worth it to know that he wont get sick with WC.
glad you and xander are on the mend now anna. we have a solids talk on thursday at MG so will wait till then to try again. i think my girl would def be nine kgs by now. she is well out of all her 00s now.... which is a bummer as i don't have many 0s!
nelle - when i bought my first nearly new car my list of top five things it must have was 1. cup holders, 2. air con, 3. cd player, 4. automatic, 5. not white! as you can see cup holders were very important! enjoy your new wheels.
i have also thought about those trolley seats as i think ainsleigh is ready to sit up, but for now she is happy in the capsule (though the trolley is smaller, can't stack stuff up as easily) let me know how you other girls go using them. i think dimmeys is a discount store over east anna** and nessa.
grrrrr at noisy neigbours jodi.
maz if you find those covers that cheap you'll have to start a black market trade on them!!!
well i best go and feed the dogs and then crawl in to bed. had a shocking night last night, so hoping for a good night's sleep tonight. at least ains crashed as she was verrrry tired!
speak to you all tmw :)
Ok so I have missed heaps, but here is what I grabbed, there are poo issues that have been resolved, some solid foods happening, car talk(oh I want a new one), umm a zoo trip(sounds great), a bit of wind. Oh and maybe some BFP's coming in the next week. whew there is so much happening, sorry I havent done any personals. Wishing you ladies and babies all the best, will try to catch up soon.
Oh and AMEN for you Nelle.
Love
Hi there everyone...
I just recently became a member on this site, mainly to find other mums who live in my area...and then i stumbled across this thread... and thought what a bonus... make some extra friends online too
A little about myself: I'm a happily married 28 year old SAHM of 3, aged:
7 years, 15 months and 4 months.
My 4 month old is Matilda Leigh. She was born on the 18th September, and weighed 7 pounds 9. 52 cms in length. She was induced 2 weeks early as i was on insulin for GD. I thought having to babies so close together would be quite hard to say the least, but i'm finding it's not so bad most days.
Matilda had her last weigh in on the 23rd of Jan, and is a healthy 6.95 kgs, and 60 cms long... i think she'll be a short a$$ like her mummy.
We haven't started solids yet, we are going to wait till the 6 month mark, as i only just weaned her off the breast a month ago, and i'd like her to get used to formula for a wee while 1st before anything else, and she seems quite content how things are anyways.
Hubby and i said this would be our last child, but silly me has been thinking just recently of a fourth maybe in a few years time.... crazy eh? Well i've had the implant "Implanon" inserted almost 2 months now, so i'm safe (and so is he :p ) for a few years yet. So i guess i'll casually let him know he doesn't have to get the snip done just yet.
Hmm what else can i tell you??? I guess i'll just leave the rest for you gals to ask if you want to know more.
I've read this thread from page 1, and i'm still trying to remember who is who.... BUT i am quite positive that i know AnnaT from another forum. My alias is KB78 ;).
You all sound like a fantastic bunch... and i'm looking forward to getting to know you all better if you'll have me here.
Well i best be off... time to make up bottles for tomorrow's shift.
Take care all
xo
Hey welcome...oh mercy...Maks;zdjf s :cryinglaugh: Do you have a name that's easier for lazy people to type? That's good to know that you're coping with your babies close together, I think mine might be fairly close together too.
LMAO Helen, I wasn't having poo issues really, I just posted when I really needed to poop! :D Although, I do find I kinda tense up when I have to poop these days, it's just a bit uncomfy since having a bub, my plumbing is just not quite what it used to be! Hee hee.
Hope that yogurt does the trick Anna, and hope you get some good sleep tonight Rikki!
Put some more pics of Riv up. Oh, and did some parking practice for mother's group tomorrow, I'll be fine if there's no cars within a 400 metre radius  It's okay, there's a car park that no one really uses right nearby, so I'll park there instead! Better get to bed now! Night lovelies! xo

adele
Hi Kylie, yes you do know me :) Nice to see you here, youve joined a great board and an even better Buddies thread hehehe Youll get alot of support and alot of laughs, we're all mad hatters! Btw Ive always been meaning to tell you that I just LOVE your kiddo's names. Darcy is our pick for a girl!
Well my little booger was a huge pain up until bedtime last night. Everytime DH even looked at him he'd scream until he almost threw up. Then I yawned and made a woo-wee sound over and over while doing it and he dropped the lip and started crying :cryinglaugh: So I tried it again and he did the same thing. I know Im mean but it was a bit funny.........
He went down without any trouble at 10pm and didnt wake til 8am again. Ah I could get used to all this good uninterrupted sleep on a regular basis. Ive been crashing not long after he goes to bed and being woken up by him crying. Actually about that, is my boy the only baby here who still cries when he wakes up? Given that he is a chubber food machine I can see why after a 13hour sleep he would be distressed and very very VERY hungry :p Now he is just playing on his playmat. Not a cry out of him yet so today might be a good day! I cant wait til all this teething is O-V-E-R.
Be back later to post some more. I need to shower and .................oh there goes the crying.
:wall:
annat- riley crys when he wakes dont know why but simon thinks it because he doesnt know where he is lol.
AnnaT... Jesse kinda cries when he wakes up.. its a fake cry though.. like a cry mixed with a HHEYYYY IMM AWAKE!! Oh thats what Jesse does with the inlaws by the sounds of it.. whenever anyone bar me looks at him while theyre here he absolutely screams.. though FIL dropped DH home from work yesterday afternoon and came in and he was fine with him! Even smiled! It seems to be the MIL atm.. which i dont blame him! lol.. cant be like that though.
Adele.. i wish i could stay up that late.. im asleep by 9.30pm even if i dont want to be. Im so lazy.
Ok gonna try and get the munchkin to have a nap and get me some food.. then gotta order Jess another 0.5 tog grobag as he's getting too small for his 0-6 month one.. but my damn Promo code aint working on the site, and i want my $5 off!!
xx
i think i am too tired... i just read all the posts and all i can remember is welcome to kylie.... and nice to see you helenp. i'm going to have some breakfast and then i'll do a take two i think!!!
Hey lovely mummies... I'm so knackered as the neighbours left their dog outside last night and it barked all damn night long. How can something the size of a rat make so much noise?
Xander is refusing to have a nap this morning despite being so tired, so I'm not getting a nap either. arrgghhh.
bbl
hello kylie and as annat said wre all mad!!!!!
Annat - Vy cried when she wakes up I think its because they expect us to be there and are lonely. Annoys the living $hit out of me.
Chrissy - I think im 5 days over now..ah well we'll wait and see. Not stressing about it at moment.
Ahhhh fooy Rikki ive got the same I cant remember $hit today.
BBL when I grow a brain
Morning all,
Thank god our cot has wheels with all the rocking in it we have to do! I think it must be building up my muscles too cause they start to ache after awhile.
AnnaT- Ash occasionally cries when she wakes up and when she does its like she is quite upset that I think maybe she woke with a fright. The rest of the time she sort of just calls out as if to say "hello come and give me boobie right now!"
*Belle*- ooh I want to see that movie, might have to pop up there and watch with you! How is Julia today? I hope the teething is settling. Your poor friend at the baby shower prolly wants to keep the baby in there indefinately now! Its like a friend of mine came over one day and Ash did her screaming for an hour before going to sleep and I think i turned her off having kids!
MaKy- hello! Welcome to our great group.
Well I have to go and watch scrubs now I always seem to be on here just before its starting! Then should get my ass in the shower. Got mothers group at 2 this arvo.
miss heffa lump is now 8.5kg, and 69cm long, with a nice shapped head........mmmmmmm.....why do people always comment on " WHAT A LOVELLY SHAPPED HEAD SHE HAS"
Hi All
Alexander is a healthy 7.2 kilos! didnt do his length, i still have not had his injections done! _ slap on the wrist for me! with all the moving etc i am a bit behind on a few things!
BBL to catch up more !
I was thinking (yes it hurt!!) and I reckon we should do another online chat ... what do you all reckon???
A little boohoo for me and a little woohoo too ...
boohoo - I phoned Centrelink last week to let them know I was going back to work and that I was starting tomorrow etc, when I got my parenting payment end of last week I noticed it was $120 short, I phoned them today and they said it's because I've gone back to work. When I told them that wasn't until tomorrow and that I'd told them that last week they said 'we go by when you contact us, not when you actually start!!!!!!' What the ?!?! anyway, after talking with the supervisor they refuse to refund the balance of my payment.
now for the woohoo - just found out my hourly rate for work ... $25 per hour! YAY!!! I was hoping for around $22, so that's a bonus.
Got a girlfriend coming over so better clean up a little, bbl
hey jodi, you might end up getting the payment when you both put your tax in at the end of fianacial year, you ususally get what is owing then+ $600 per child then too.....depending on income amounts.........i cant wait, also if you are geeting FTB PART B you also get i bit extra, this is the first year i will get that since i havent worked this year...........so i have a nice lump sum awaiting come july.
forgot to add......you only get what is owing if you do you income assements prpoerly, if you dont you might end up owing centerlink money.
bummer sharleen, what is the income cut off?
last year i got part of part b, as my income was low, and the lady from centerlink told me you get $300 per child if you are on partb as well.......mind you dont quoate me on that, as i only got part of it
Chrissy - I get the same about the head shape.2 people today said i should put Vy into modelling shows but there's none here. Id only do it for a kick. Oh and when tax time comes, I get an extra $600 for Wilhelm for being on a careers allowance. I redid my kitchen with it the first year. I always over estimate cause that means centerlink owes me money.
Little P -I havent had Vy's needles done yet either. Tomorrow oh tomorrow. I hate needles!
Hello fellow chickens. hope your all having a wonderful day. Im making 'crabby patties' a spounge bob thing, for tea tonight. in other words just hamburgers the healthy way.
Vy is down for the 3rd sleep today. Hope she sleeps well tonight. Last night was 7 until 6 this morning.
ok BBL
 can't keep up with you girls
Hmm I'll have to look into that tax thing. I just presumed we wouldn't get anything as Df earns pretty good wage but maybe with me not working we might get something. I'll get Df to check that one out.
BBL I am starving and in the process of cooking.
That's so confusing about the money!! I overestimate too, and then see what happens at mid year :D
Well River weighs 6.8kg, long and skinny, but he's really healthy which is nice. Talked to a different nurse today, she saw me when I was a baby! Chatted about immunisations, and she gave me some more info which was nice. And River got a free book from the library or something!
Oh and River gets comments on his head shape too - since he was born, the nurse said cos he came out quick he didn't have time to have his head squished or something. But honestly, I think people just say it for something to say.
Anyway, going to the parents for dinner, so best get going. Hope everyone's doing super well and being taken care of! xo
you could always look on the centrelink site that tells you the cut of limit and all that. we had to have a look at it before as we werent sure if we would get it either. lol
with the comments on the shape of the heads that is weird lol i have had that a few times with both the kids but from the drs lol.
im so tired now i think i might go to bed early tonight. well i hope to anyway.
later girls
Adele
Heath earns a pretty good wage and I was still entitled to some. $150 p/f not working, $20 p/f while working. I have overestimated so should get that back at tax time, depending how our investment property does.
All this talk of good looking heads is making me jelous.
I dont take all my centrelink payment as i rather the lump sum.Plus we dont always know how much we earn having our own business.
oh caddie sorry. how is ruby going anyway is she on the move yet??
could i have your email addy i need your help with something
Adele
The only comment I ever get on head shape is about Xander flat spot!
lol anna! nobody comments on ainsleigh's either.. .but i think it's beautiful!
just been offered a teaching job one day a fortnight...now that i think i could handle as mum could look after baby girl. hmmmmm.... am i ready to go back to work tho!?
Rikki,adult conversation sounds lovely!
nessa, caity always ends up at the other end of her cot, and she wriggles that much she ends up waking up as she is banging her head against the cot...silly girl
Nessa.. Ill put Jesse down at the bottom of the cot.. when i go to bed he's usually on his side or tummy so i roll him back, and then by the morning when i go in he has usually done a 180, sometimes rolled over too. Ive put him in Grobags for that reason.. also because he likes to cover his eyes when he's tired and if theres anything such as a sheet or blanket near by, he'll pull it over his face. Have you tried her in sleeping bags?
Chrissy.. only comment we've had about Jesse's head is about his bald patch at the back.. though a few weeks after he was born he had a funny shaped head after birth but its fine now.
Well Jess is asleep yay.. i so buggered and did diddly squat today. AF arrived thank god.. probably part of my sleepiness.. gonna have an early night me thinks.
xx
Well our IL's were just here. They called up and said they had to come over cause they had something important to tell us. Well FIL has stomach cancer, was such a shock to hear something like that. He's having a laproscopy next Tue's to check if its spread to any other organs. If it has spread they can't do anything, if they find it hasn't they'll remove his stomach and he'll have chemo so he's gonna be pretty sick. Funny thing is all the symptoms he had was reflux that the Dr first said was indigestion but it kept continuing and MIL being the person she is pushed for more looking into it and I guess its lucky they did.
