Perth girls, I am in Leeming, not far off the freeway... if you would like to meet up pick a day! Is it easier for you to come while Millana is in kindy Caddie or to bring her?
Ummm... I like books, cooking, socialising and of course Ainsleigh! I am actually quite easy to please, I just love a thoughtful gift. I am not really a pink/ girly girl though... hmmm, not very helpful am I! I had all the girls here for lunch today which was lovely. Ainsleigh is still avoiding her daytime sleep, and was so tired by the end of the day that she fell asleep on my lap and then after her feed went to bed without a peep. it was almost like she was saying 'ahhhhh, my bed' just like i do after a late night she lay in her cot quiet and contented for about 15 minutes before she drifted off. now that is a first, not one squawk to be heard!
have updated ainsleigh's website if anyone would like a peek http://www.babysites.com/sites/babypassi/

I could do a trip to Leeming to meet up! Especially if it is a morning thing... but any day other than Wednesday as I have my Mummy's Group on in the morning. Well... maybe I could miss one if it's the only day that works for all of you?

That's awesome news about Ainsleighs' sleeping!!! I'm off to go look at her website now.

Ainsleigh's a cutie Rikki Man, we all have such good looking babies! Wow!

ETA: Anna, what cloth nappies do you find to be good for Xander? Any you'd recommend? If anyone else uses modern cloth, feel free to answer too

Nelle - I've got the Beehinds as the main 'workhorse' in my stash, with BumGenius' (on your recommendation!) and GreenKids Anytimes for going out or something slightly trimmer fitting. The GreenKids are brilliant. You already know how great the other brands are... I've liked them all so much I haven't ventured into anything else and I like the ease of one-size nappies. Tho I must admit to having some sort of infatuation with folding terry squares as of late!? I use wool soakers over those.

ChrissyT - How long to the Bubblebubs AIO's take to dry?

    Ainsleigh is beautiful!

Rach75- God i hope Jack settled for you and gave you some sleep!

rikki- love the website, like nelle said all of our babies are so gorgoeus!

Sarah Kate- i'm going to have to pay more attention today to Ashleigh's arms. At the moment she is just kicking back relaxing, watching me on the computer from her bouncer.

Ash and i have a big day out today, going to see my parents then popping over to see my Nanna, she'll be shocked at how much Ash has grown! Then we are going to my work to see everyone. They been pestering me bout when I'm bringing her in so as today is an afternoon tea for a couple staff who are leaving thought I'd go in see everyone and say goodbye to those leaving.
So sad they are going, while I've been on mat leave there has been so many changes to my ward and staff are very unhappy bout the way things have been handled so they are leaving. They just made all these changes didn't tell staff until they rock up to work and get told "from now on it's like this....". We are in the mushroom club!

Oh Rach, hope you could sleep! It's awful isn't it. When Riv's like that, I take him to bed with me and sleep on my back with him lying tummy-down on my chest. Would Jack settle like that?

Ooh better go, whingy's calling for who knows what...

Sharleen - thank yo so much for organising the KK thingo. I had so much fun doing our baby shower. I think the second week in december sounds good are we all going to get on MSN again aswell (I hope so) that was the best night...
Shell - My IL's came up for 2 hours when Vy was born, didn't bring a camera, held her for 5 mins and then left. Then they came up here for a weekend at their friends and 'dropped in' for a cuppa for half an hour. Thats it. Their first grand daughter and its like they dont care. Yet their son is having his first child in 2 weeks, they live in Newcastle and MIL is flying up for a few days. Ahh they $hit me!
Anna - Hmm chocolate...Im eating way to much of it...getting the side of a house again!
CAddie - Ive got the einstein floor thingo too. Vy loves it. Im pretty sure Belle's got one as well (Hi ya hon)...great minds think alike!
Rikki - I wanna come to the meet up too... im to far away. DOOH!
Nelle - I PMSL at your post's. Thank for that. Fantastic that River slept through somewere other than home.
Chrissyt- I am out 3 times some days with school drop offs and pick up. Vy sleeps better when we're out than at home some days.
Chrissy - IKWYM about all the chickies in here now..Im finding it harder to keep up.
Hello to everyone else.....Sorry if I didn't mention you kick me later.
As for favourite things...I LOVEEEEEEEEE scrapbooking, the colour purple, african tribal stuff and funny movies. I collect the old box camera's and im also into crystals.

Nelle & Anna* I went to this local shop nappyland last week and bought some eenees wraps and they are the best covers I have found so far better than the bummis or totsbots or target ones that I already had and they are not a bad price $12.95. They are completely leak proof. I am going back to buy a few more soon.

Our neighbour had leant us her Amby hammock and Hatty loves it. If she wakes in the night her wiggles set it bouncing and she sends herself back to sleep in a few minutes. If anyone is having trouble with sleep I would highly recommend one of these.

I hope you are all well.

I really felt sad when I heard about Belinda Emmet my neighbour has just been diagnosed and has had a double mastectomy it is so sad because she has a 2 year old and a 5 year old and is only a young woman. I am taking over a meal today and some biccies for the kids.

Make sure you all examine yourselves regularly!!

I hope you like the new ticker the picture is a bit small but i'll change it again soon

My sister had her u/s last week with the lump. She has one but the sonographer reckons its not cancer and she should be fine. She will need to see her doc too.
Rikki, ansleigh is not much smaller than her older friend! Even height wise. She is very cute.Im great with mondays, wednesdays and thursdays.I would most likely bring millana but if it will be a problem i will ask nana to babysit If there is toys shes great!
Ruby had a good night, she was 4hrly wake ups but she had the farts and must have been hot as she kept kicking her blanket off!! She was abit restless.
Not much else to report, will have a shower whilst she is asleep.

Those cues you posted SK are the same for Xander, but he has only really just starting doing them. As soon as I see him rubbing his eyes/nose I whisk him off to bed, wrap him and he nods off pretty quickly.

So how many of us are heading back to work soon? I've just convinced my DH that I am going to be a SAHM for now, and return to work when he is at school. So happy. We'll be mega broke because of it, but I'm hoping to start my cake decorating again so that'll bring in a little cash.

Caddie - Hope your sister is ok.

Maz - No such thing as too much chocolate... as soon as I next get the chance, I plan on running a nice hot bath with the awesome 'Lush' bath bomb my Mum got from her trip to Sydney, a glass of wine and some fancy choccies. Mmmmmmm.

Rach - Glad you finally got the little monkey settled! Xander makes heaps of grunting noises after his 4am-ish feed, I actuallyhave started ignoring it unless he starts to cry... he usually drifts back to sleep, or not, but I don't get him till 5.30am now if he doesn't. I don't like lavender either! Weird, 'cos most people love the smell. I prefer zesty smells in my bath stuff like mandarin and lime etc.

It is soo interesting reading what everyone here likes etc! Especially after reading our life stories not long ago - starting to get a real piccy of some of you in my head. Well, better fly, the pets in this house have gone mad this morning - guess they want some attention, poor little furbabies!

Does anyone else find it so much more easier to tell us on here what were thinking than our friends at home? I must admit it was becoming very overwhelming with so many of us on here when we crossed over from being due to having babies. NO offence to the girls that joined us along the way but I think we'rve lost a few cause we felt we were getting lost inbetween the lines somehow. Its sad when we bonded so well and then ....poff their gone. HOpefully it will make this thread thinker and stronger and that the 'oldies' will come back one day and join in again. I think its fantastic that we all care about each other and to be truthfull, I dont know how I could have gone through the last few months without the continued support and empathy form you all. IM sorry if I have offended any one with what I've just said. It truelly isn't my intension, I just like to say how im feeling and often worry about those who cant express themselves easily.
Thanks guys you mean the world to me
