happy six months old JACK!!
well a CAITLYN update, i have two teeth now, and i sit up all day long (if allowed) i have been sitting up for a month now, i have to have my six month neddles this week, and my Boil ON MY BUM, is much better now, but mum says i still need to take my antibiodics. I have just discovered milk arrorot buisuts, and i have just eated 2 of them!! as for crawling, well i just couldnt be bothered, not interested, I am starting to broaden my horizon with my dvds i watch, so now i actaully watch wiggles space dancing, instead of just watching wiggles the movie, everyday, i have also discoverd how good the high chair is, i can actaully hit everyone when i throw all my toys food off ;) i so love to sit on mum and dads bed, and play for hours and mum now gives me the clothes basket with all the pegs in it, but i hate it when she is in a silly mood, she hangs all the pegs off me and i just cant get them of!! silly mummy.....my favourite food would have to be mums mashed potaoes and gravy....so yum.....as for the daylight savings it might take me a few days to work it all out, as i woke at 4.30am today.....and mum is walking around like a zoombie.....but between you and me i think she had a little two many scotches last night!! but thats ok cause daddy is making her a lovely indian curry for dinner....so enough about me.tell me all you babies...whats been going on......oh yeh i cant wait to see my new freinds in jesse and julia again........mum just said belle, she is a slack ar@ and she needs to send you those pics.

Hewwooo.. Jesse here. My poos are all yucky.. still hard and greeny black.. i have to grunt extra loud these days just to get them out! So mum went and bought me some S26 formula which ill try tomorrow. Hope it tastes ok. Hopefully thats what it is that making my tummy and poos all funny since Xander's mummy said he has the same thing. The doctor gave me some mighty sharp needles today. Oh I cried.. so whoever wrote that song "Big Boys Dont Cry", is wrong! Cos im a big boy now cos I take big boy baths without a chair. I can sit up for short periods but then i become a rolly polly. I also have 2 teeth. Hehe and i like to pretend im a vampire with them and slip in a bite when im kissing mummy. Yogurt.. oh i love yogurt! Whoever invented Yogurt is a genius! My favourite shows on tv are the ads and the Biggest Loser. I like the Wiggles too Caitlyn, would you like to go see them sometime? We can grab some mash potato and gravy at KFC on the way and then head on over to the gig? Mummy forgot to tell everyone i met Fifi And The Flowertots and Bob The Builder's daddy last week. He signed my Bob The Builder book for me. Well i must go, mummy has a rusk stick waiting for me.. mmmm.. might have to tell her to get me some arrowroots like my girlfriend Caitlyn has. Hey Caitlyn and Julia, whens my next date with you sexy ladies???

well..........ummmmmmmmmmmmm I'm 6 months old today mummy and daddy took so many photos of me I am starting to wonder if that little silver and black box is part of their faces, I have 2 teeth, and 4 on the way and boy do they hurt when I try to drink my milk :( I have 2 more lessons left in swimming I lovvvvvvvvveeeeeee swimming so much I try to put my head under all the time, whihc scares my mummy. I have started to sit up mum or dad have to help me but once they sit me I cans it up for ages, I also love my baby einstein red cube I love red things :), I also am enjoying my time in the jolly jumper most days it is so much fun I jump and jump and jump. mummy says she is sorry but I have to have some needles tomorrow, but she said it will stop me getting sick so I suppose I have to have them, oh and the biggest news mummy says I am starting solids next week, not sure what that means but everyone is excited so I suppose I should be too
so chat later I am so very tired now think I'll have another catnap

Mummy and Daddy took me out today to the shops to make my room all nice! I cant wait to have a new room with lots of new colours to look at, they bought me glow in the dark clouds rainbows and star stickers to put on the walls and a new dooner cover for the single bed mummy sleeps in when daddy snores. Its going to look so beautiful. Mummy and Daddy also bought me some new linkies to play with as the others got lost...havent got them get.. where are they??????? I am now a big girl with a high chair to eat in! I had so much fun in my new high chair tonight and I smeared pumpkin over the chair! Mummy said that Im going to the beach this week!!! and I get to go in the water im so excited and am going to have heaps of fun cause Daddy is off work for the next two weeks to spend more time with us. I learnt a new trick yesterday, I am learning how to comando crawl im good at lifting my arms but my feet are still dragging... and I can sit up too, not all day though only for a minute or so so far. No teeth yet. Mummy said I have to have my needles tomorrow morning :( I hope they dont hurt... Mummy said Xander is sick which is not good I am sending big sloppies to him..Vy do you love your little elephant I sent to you? Jesse would love to have another hot sexy date with you and look forward to seeing Caity. too. Gotta catch some zzzzzzz's now..ggggggggggggggggguuuuurrrrrrggggllllllleeeeee later mates.

Guess who slept through last night ... and is still asleep :dance: She went to bed at 5.20pm...yes 5.20pm!! and didn't hear from her till 6.30am, had another bottle and is still asleep! We've even been into her room a couple of times to check she's still breathing, and she's sound asleep.
She had a little constipation yesterday, was able to pass a couple of stools, but hasn't done a proper poo yet. Got some stuff from the chemist so hopefully that'll work.
Nina can't do her spiel cause she's too busy sleeping, but I'm sure she'll be on later to tell everyone what she's been up to.
Poor Millana, hope she's not too sore. Thank gawd for Wiggles bandaids though!

Morning all,
Had a lovely day yesterday with my sister and nephew. Ashleigh was a good girl too and had a nice sleep while we went out for lunch. Picked up the high chair from my sister, just need to clean it down and we're ready to use.
Well Ashleigh was partying with ****roaches again last night, I had to kill 2 of them! On her change table, makes me wonder where else in the house they are cause I only ever see them in her room cause thats the only room I'm in at night.
*Nessa*-Where you going away too? We're off to Sydney next week, I just realised yesterday that its only just over a week away til we go.
Jodi- Thats fantastic Nina is sleeping so well, I hope she keeps it up, big change from those days of waking 2 hourly isn't it! Tell her to give Ashleigh her secret although Ash hasn't been too bad these days getting 4 hourly roughly now.
caddie- Poor girls, big cuddles to them both!
*Belle*- Good luck with the needles, hope Julia goes okay with them.
Chrissy- I love the sound of that peg game, I'm going to have to do that to Ashleigh.

Helloooo Ashleigh here, I'm a big girl now and stating to enjoy eating my solids, I'm a bit funny with first mouthful pears and I make the funniest face but then I love them, I love my vegies too. But my favorite is booby juice, mummy tried to trick me and slip bottle in while I was on the booby but I'm not silly, she can't pull the wool over my eyes. I still like getting mummy up in the night and when I really want her attention I roll on my tummy and scream so she races in (he he I know how to roll back just like to keep her on her toes). I'm trying to get into everything now, I learnt how to push my self forward so I can get to what I want, don't like sitting up yet though. I love bouncing either in the jolly jumper or with mummy and daddy, makes me laugh, I love laughing but I love screaming too, anything that makes a noise!
still sleeping ........ the house is absolutely spotless now! Cause I've been up since 6am, I've got all the washing done, the kitchen is clean, I've had a shower and washed my hair, but no baby yet!

I'm sending Nina down to Helen so she can teach eithan a thing or two, then helen can send nina to you, how does that sound?!
We're thinking of going away for Easter, but dunno where to go and what to do ????

well OMG I have the bravest boy in the world, had to sit him on my lap with his legs between mine she put the first needle in and as she pressed it, he looked at me with wide eyes like WTF!!! then had to tur him round for other leg same reaction and as she put the bandaid on he smiled and laughed at her, not a tear not a winmper :clap: :dance: go mybrave brave boy
we have a paed eye appoint for the 11th April, dr said yes his eye is slightly turned, so :pray: that corrects itself

I am driving mumma bonkers today, so i better make this quick. Whoohooo mummy says I am getting a girlfriend sent to me. Her names nina, she sounds sooo pretty. Mumma says she knows how to sleep and do things like roll. How cool is she. I am going now I found some boobies but they are covered up. Maybe if I grab them a bit more Mumma might feed me.

Well Rans is home sick today, must be like, the 3rd sick day ever of his life - I did some evil manipulating, he's got this awful cold that I'm still getting over and I just pointed out to him that I hated when people thought they were okay and came to work with germs and then the bug started going round work. So...you know...I was just thinking about the welfare of his co-workers! :p

Hey, I fed River some apple puree yesterday, and it went down better than the pumpkin and sweet corn. Do you think I should keep feeding him apple til he gets the idea of food and then reintroduce the savoury stuff?
Thankyou for the half birthday wishes! Mama says she feels sad today because my half birthday came by so quick that my 1st one will too. Im not her itty bitty baby anymore but Im much more fun now!
So Ive been a bit of a grump lately because I have this way sharp tooth in my mouth thats really starting to bug me. Getting Mama up in the middle of the night for a cuddle makes me feel better though but I dont think it does anything for her :lol: Ive got the crawling thing going now and I must say I am very very fast - just call me Speedy Gonzales! I also like to sit up but only when I feel like it, I like to give everyone high 5's and my favourite word is Dad-dad although I can say Mama and HI! I have big boy baths where I like to roll over onto my tummy and blow bubbles in the water. I even sit in the shopping trolley now which makes it much easier to check out the chicky babes ;)
Babies, I have to tell you about an awesome thing called PAPER! Sometimes its white and sometimes its colourful but man does it taste good AND you can turn it into lots of little bits of paper! Dont think the 'olds' like it though cause theyre always taking it off me and throwing it out. Jess-man, yoghurt is awesome hey! Its my favourite food to eat too.
Im too cool for skool, I even have a theme song! I rock out to Bob Sinclar's 'Rock this party' ! I have some pretty good moves, move over Justin Timberlake, a new JT is in da houuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuse :dance:

Ive now been given permission to write something lol Jetts tooth is taking its sweet merry time coming through, no wonder he has been a right royal pain for me lately. Nessa, that teething gel works wonders though! Ta for sending it to me, its been a life saver. Dh cleaned up the house yesterday arvo (Yeah I know I was shocked too! The apocolypse must be coming or something hehe), so now Jett has nothing he can get into. The kid is fricken fast with his crawling now, literally takes seconds to get from one side of the room to the other. He is also *almost* sitting himself up out of the crawling position but just as he gets upright his fat head unbalances him and he falls the other way.
I really need to go shower now, Im aiming to be organised by midday each day so I dont look like to much of a slacker. Plus I need to go get some potato's to go with the silverside Im cooking for dinner tonight and Jetts winter clothes layby out, its gotten cold during the day here all of a sudden to the point where even RY thought about getting the heater crankin! Might get myself some winter shirts/jumpers, all my winter clothes are maternity ones and I dont think I want to wear them lol

I sounds like everyone is really busy. All these babies on the move.
Ive notcied that Vy has either lost a bit of her fat on her legs or just gotten longer. Her nappy covers no longer leave horrible marks on her legs anymore.
Vic girls - do we have any more thoughts on a meet up? Im like AnnaT - need a bit of for warning if you want me there.
Vy's been crawling up a storm and nothing is safe anymore, even the poor cat. She's eating 3 meals a day, 1/4 weetibx in the morning, fruit at lunch and vegies and meat or fish at night. FINALLY sleeping through (better not say that to loude). She's very clingy to mummy now and often hides her face in my bb's. Say's dada, mama, bubba and Yeah
Anyway enough of my dribble
I absolutely loved the way you girls putthings down from all the babies point of view. It really made me chuckle and smile.

just won a porta cot ( for mum) and another stroller on ebay, so now i have 2 strollers and a pram, but this one is a layback one, and i am going to qld in a few months and i need a light weight one to take there that caity could sleep in, I am attempting to take the kids to dreamworld and australia zoo.....i must admit its gonna be intersting bringing 5 kids and ONLY me on the plane.....AM I MAD?????

Had a big day today. Went shopping with my best buddy Richie. Mummy forgot to take photos AGAIN!!! I dont know how many times i have to remind her! But me and Richie are having a photo shoot on Wednesday. My mummy and Richie's mummy are going to dress us up like rock stars! Mummy said i can have her guitar when im older, how rad is that! So ill show you some pictures of us on Wednesday or Thursday, depends how slack mum is. But i do have to give her a break, shes getting the flu. I hope i dont get it.

nelle - nina was constipated yesterday and we could see there was a stool which was stuck (TMI sorry!) so we rubbed some baby oil around the TMI area and kept bringing her legs up, like riding a bike playing. We also gave her some Coloxyl, which worked great. She's back to pooing normal now.
ness - gggrrrrr at DH! Like you said, where's your annual leave? You should book holidays in, put it on the calendar, then when the time comes around, take a holiday! Easier said than done, but we can wish anyway.

Nina has had a real sleepy day today, she woke up at 9.30am, back down at 11.30am for 1.5hours, then had another 1.5 sleep this afternoon!! Heath's off to footy now so gotta play mum ... again! A mum's job is never done
Oh poor Nina! I remember when Olivia was 12 weeks old, 2 nights before her baptism and she has a poo stuck 1/2 in and 1/2 out of her bum! So we put vaseline around it and tried to get it out with our fingers.. it was like bloody cement! SHe was in so much pain she was beyond crying.. So of to the ER and she had a lovely enima! 1/2 later the biggest poo ever.. it just kept coming and coming! We started prune juice once a day after that! She was blocked from the AR reflux formula.. thickner and stuff to stop her chucking all the time..
Chrissy - You will be fine ont he flight.. When i flew with my 2 a couple of weeks ago the staff were so helpful and offered to help etc.. I just packed heaps of lollypops and tiny teddys ( DD fav) and she was happy to sit still for a while!

I've had an exhausting day, Ashleigh decided to revert back to screaming before ALL her sleeps today, she has 3 a day so thats roughly 3 hours spent screaming and trying to settle then just sleeping for 25mins.
*Nessa*- Oooh I'd be so angry too, occasionally Df has made the comment of what have I done all day but then says quickly he was just joking, but I think he actually really does think it sometimes. Leave him home with the girls for a day and a list of housework to do plus cook dinner and see what he says then!
VIC girls- I was thinking the first weekend of May for Vic meet-up but as Nelle said see what suits AnnaT and Maz and I'll work into it.
Nelle- I had trouble with Ashleigh taking anything for the first 2 weeks, just keep trying and see how he goes. Now I'm onto 2 meals I usually give fruit in the morn and vegies at night.
Hello to the rest of you lovely ladies, I am ready for bed. My body is still on old daylight savings time. Will watch desperate housewives but will have to tape Brothers and Sisters, god I have so many TV shows on these days.

Well Riv settled well again tonight :D He ate 8 teaspoon fulls of apple puree this arvo, so perhaps we'll stick with that. Though if he doesn't poo tomorrow I might add a teensy bit of brown sugar to something to try and encourage it out.

Nelle - Did you know that many bubs get a bit blocked up on Apple Sauce/Puree??? Apple Juice has the opposite effect.. something to do with pectin (not sure what tho). Oh, and peaches/pears and of course prunes might help get things moving too - as well as good old water (if he'll drink it)
Kellxx - We've got weirdo weather over here too, warm one minute; then cold and raining the next. No wonder everyone is getting sick! Hope you feel better soon.
Shell - Xander and Ashleigh must've been talking again, he is doing the same thing re screaming before going down for a sleep. It is just soooooo much work for such a little nap!
Nessa - Swap roles with your hubby on the weekend sometime. You sit on the couch, watch TV and drink beer... whilst he runs around after the kids and does all the housework/cooking. He wont complain again in a hurry.

I think some of you may have got a bit mixed up with my last post...Xander didnt go for his scan today, I'm still 'waiting' to get an appointment to get it done!!! It's the wait that is stressing me more than anything.

as for me finally brought up the subjext of who feeds Jack with Jase as we will be seeing IL's in 2 weeks and well he is like they want to do it, you did say 6 mths, so I said I just dont want anyone feeding him but us, and he goes well when mums asks you what are you going to say, so I said she wont ask me you know that she'll ask you, so he goes I'll say ask Rachel its not my decision :wall: so we didn't speak for 1/2hr then I went and had ashower and had a big ole cry, but decided if that is how he wants to be, then I will be the nasty one and say no I'm right, they dont like me anyway so whats one more thing to hate about me :( so screw them, its irks me that my family wouldn't even think of askign they would wait till I asked them, but at same time they understand where I am comign from and I can talk to them about it, oh well the poop shall hit the fan in 2 weeks thankfully we will only be there one night, we were goign to be there 3 but Jase mixed up dates and we have a wedding to go to so we have to be home then
anyway enough whining I will just be the bad one and they can get over it and as my sister said and one of yoy girls ?? when they kick the stink look please respect how I feel you have raised you children let me raise ours

OHHH! News flash!! I just changed Jesse's first sloppy poo in a week!!! Looks like the S26 worked and it was the Heinz Nurture Gold 2 causing his hard green black pellet poos! all the food he eats he has been eating for over a month and was fine, so it has to have been the formula!
Anna**.. did you change Xander's formula? Oh hun im sure he is going to be perfectly fine! I think jesse has a big head, does compared to other babies.. but then hes just bigger all round i think. Hope everything turns out fine (which i know it will!). How long do you have to wait? Stupid waiting lists!!
Okkee well, me, still feel so crap. Really hope it clears byt he weekend and Jess doesnt get it for his Naming Day on sunday. Everything is ready to go now, candles have arrived, have ordered the balloons which will pick up on Thursday, Jesse has his outfit, but might need to find a cardy incase its a cold day, um.. cake is organised, got his Time Capsule for his wish cards.. and yeh.. all looks good to go. Lets just hope its a nice day now.

I'm having a real hard time feeding nina her solids. when we first introduced them to her she would guts them down, she couldn't get enough of them! But when she got sick we had to give her antibiotics and ever since she won't let anything in her mouth. As soon as we try to put anything in there she closes it shut and pushes your hand away, not even tasting the food. What should I do? This has been going on for 2 weeks now, so for the last 2 weeks she's had no solids. If I let her eat a biscuit, rusk, sandwich or frozen out of the food feeder, then she's fine, it's just us trying to feed her that's the problem.
shell / anna** - naughty naughty ash & xander !!! not settling for mummy!! Hopefully they settle a bit better for their sleeps today.

Well Eithan is a big turd with his teething, crying heaps and not wanting to be put down. Although after a tough day he slept well, only got up once, so that was nice. Me I feel so awful, I dont know what's wrong with me. I am soooo tired I have nanna naps all day on the couch while Eithan is playing on the floor. So not really getting sleep as I am still keeping a half eye on him, but need the rest. Things are pretty hard here at the moment and Leith works ALL the time. I dont ask my family for any help, because whenever we go to visit after that if other people are around mum is always saying, yeah Helen calls me out all the time. It's a hassle for her, not a helpful thing coz she's my mum.
Anyway Leith is taking hol's next week so we can get back in touch with each other and spend some time helping each other out. Only problem is we have heaps of plastering and painitng to do etc.

Helen.p- :hug: Hopefully when Leith is on holidays you can get some quality time together and maybe he could take the kids out for a few hours just so you can have some timeout to yourself? It sucks your mum being like that when you ask for help, is there anyone else around you'd trust to give you a break?
Jodi- Hmm thats a tough one, maybe as Nessa said put some on your finger? Or rub some onto her lips and when she gets the taste she might eat? Could you give her the spoon with a bit on to play with in the hope she puts it in her mouth?
Kell- Hope you start picking up soon. We are getting the start of a cold here. And Yay on Jesse clearing out, he must feel alot better for it!
Rach- stick to your guns, don't worry bout looking like a *****, they'll just have to get over it.
Anna**- Ashleigh and Xander always seem to play up at the same time, I think they are conspiring against us. How long do you have to wait for his appt for the scan?
Nelle- Yay on River eating, hope he gets his bowels moving soon. Ashleigh loves her pears and she always does a big poo afterwards! Shes not so big on apple though.
The carry on has started, she rolls onto her tummy and starts screaming when she knows full well how to roll back so when I roll her back she wants to be picked up then as soon as I put her down she screams! Can't carry her all day way too heavy.
Jodi.. if tahts the only way shes going to eat then id let her.. at least then shes eating and as time goes on, she'll get more confident with food again. Poor little thing. But maybe while she's having something frozen in the food feeder (fruit or whatever) then try and feed her a spoon full of the same stuff while she's munching on it?
Helen.. oh you poor thing.. looks like its a common thing lately with our babies. Jesse has been the same over the past few days. Though he's a perfect baby when we go shopping? Might have to do that more often, but when i get better! Just try and take it easy like you are.. let Eithan play on the floor and crash on the couch with the telly on.

Shell.. oh Jesse is the same too. He just b!tches the whole time when he's on his tummy. He never liked tummy time but now he rolls over himself, even though he can roll back, half the time i dont think he remembers that he can. Hope she stays down for a little bit for you to have some time to yourself.
