Hi ya everyone, to tired to talk much. I was so full of energy today that I took everything out of the lounge room and cleans it from head to toe then put it all back in rearranged. Shell.. yeh its still long but not as long as it was, as it was covering my boobs before lol. But oh its so good having it shorter, i still wear it up but still, always nice to be different every now and then. Hehe oh dear i have to laugh as i think theyre at it again shell.. Jesse was the exact same as Ash was this morning tonight. I put him down and he just started screaming.. nothing worked except me cuddling him to sleep. Last time i had to do that was the day before his second tooth came up! Oh thats great Ash is going well with her feeding! Clever girl!

firstly little miss savanna has decided that the remotes are so much more interesting than her own toys i find them scattered around everywhere. she holds onto the furniture and pulls herself up. i have even seen her take a step or two standing up. too clever!!
i got introuble from hubby when he saw the vid and pics of savanna ripping the news paper apart. "why did you let her play with the newspaper...she could cut herself...the ink is poisonous..blah blah blah" OOPS MY BAD but it was too cute to take it off her :)
daddy is so protective of his little princess.
i had some trouble puttting her to bed tonight. normally i wrap her put her dummy in her mouth. put her musical mobile on, kiss her goodnight and walk out the room and she is asleep within 5 mins. but tonight she was trying to fall asleep but would wake up every couple seconds screaming and crying. this went on for over an hour and i had to keep going in to tap her and eventually she must have tired herself out. i even got a bottle ready to feed her but went back in and she was too sleepy to wake up. poor darling, i wonder what was bothering her :cry:

a goodhaircut can make a woman feel so damned good cant it?? i love getting my hair done. especially when id get my nails done too. you feel so spoilt!!! which reminds me im due for a haircut :) heheh any excuse will do!!! too bad about the nails. no more acrylics for me. i keep my nails short and natural now. i dont know how women manage with long nails and lookin after a baby too.
maz- hehe you clean freak!! i get in those moods too and once you start you cant stop. i find that when hubby and i have an argument or fight i cant stop cleaning hahaha
rach- dont you hate it when you remember to do things when its too late. like taking a before pic when you get your hair done lol!!! i always forget things then afterwards i sit there thinking oh i should have done that how cool would that of been.. but then its too late lol
jodi- whats polenta??? oh congrats on losing weight!!! im finding it soo damned hard to get back to pre baby body!! its so depressing!! grrrr i wish it was easy. especially when you see damned celebrities do it so quickly.. annie- im still wrapping savanna too. im too scared to not wrap her cause she sleeps so well wrapped. my friend wrapped her bub till about 10 months. when savanna wakes up in the morning and i go check on her she has managed to unwrap herself and is sitting in her cot playing. so i guess there is no harm in wrapping

chrissy- i dont use contraception.. i really cant be bothered at all. we just use the withdraw method haha it worked for us for years before we had savanna .. i guess hubby times it really well lolllll funny that the first time we try we actually fall pregnant.
my cousin and his wife are really strong catholics and do not believe in contraception which would explain why she is already two months pregnant (her bub is only 7 months old) heheh
well hubbys is really hoping that we start trying soon. remember i said that he put a reminder in his phone for when i said we would start.. well that day is coming up very soon.. im getting so nervous cause while i miss being pregnant and want to have another baby, im also so scared about how im going to manage and how much of my life is going to change. two kids under two is going to be hectic im sure!! hehe

When Riv's unsettled/overtired, I wrap him, not his arms, but the rest of him just to give him that extra snug and secure feel. Seems to work.
Oh yeah, Ambz, could it have been Savanna's teeth that were bothering her and that's why she didn't settle? Perhaps next time try some Bonjela or something and see if that doesn't settle her more quickly.

Polenta is a grain, kinda like fine rice, cooks a similar way. Really nice, but I haven't been able to cook it to save myself. Next time I might read the instructions.

well as for the contraception thing girls..........that was my first contraceptive since i was 18years old and im just about to turn 38..............F&*K.......no wonder i have ended up with 6 kids, 7 m/c........but hey nelle...not buying a shoe anytime soon. that was 20years....mmm......but 5 of those i had my tubes clamped...........so thats 15 years, so i will take caity out of the picture and my recent m/c,
11 pregnancys in 15 years.........so thats averaging out at around a preganncy every 15 months.........**** thats pretty scarey isnt it.

Ambz.. oh they are too! So we were both in the same pain at the same time! Oh i know what you mean about the 2 kids. DH wants more now too but ive said i want to wait at least until the end of the year to start trying but even then im wondering how ill go with 2 kids. I dont use contraceptives atm either.. stopped taking the pill last month as i was getting migrains every second week.. so far so good! But i guess you really have to DTD to be worried hey.. lol and we dont atm.. im trying but am too scared of the pain. Ill get there one day.

My trip wasnt a total bust. I saw friends, ate lots and Jett got spoilt by everyone, esp my brother and sister. I should have known my mother would be well just like she always is but for some reason up until now Ive always had a tiny hope that she'd be back to her old self again. Instead, after prior warning we were coming, I arrive at 1pm to find her so drunk she cant stand up straight :wall: Then she proceeded to lie and swear to me she wasnt drunk and didnt tell the truth until I screamed until my throat hurt at her about how selfish she is. She hadnt even vacuumed the house so there was dog hair all over everything from my sisters dog and Mum knows what Im like about dogs inside the house who go on furniture. So I was forever wiping dog hair off Jett/out of his mouth. THEN Jett starting getting sick so she said she'd vacuum again (which is a huge process of borrowing a vacuum before she can do it) and STILL it didnt get done. By the time Wednesday night came around I was p!ssed off and Jett was getting real sick, and she was drunk again so I came home yesterday. She even told my poor sister that it was her fault I was leaving because my sister "hogs" Jett and never lets anyone have a go with him (like he's some fricken toy or something).
So this was the last straw, I dont care if people think Im a disgusting excuse for a daughter, it is OVER she wont ever be seeing us again. She's been in rehab twice, on medication for 4 years, going to therapy for just as long and she still isnt any better. She just blames her problems on everyone else and I cant let Jett be a part of that.
So AF showed her face early as well yesterday and boy has she been a doozy. My cramps felt like labour pains :o So I crawled to bed with my wheat bag and some nurofen but I still feel like crud. Now Jett is really sick with a green snotty nose and the worst cough I have ever heard.
:cry: I hate my life right now so if Im not around its because Im sooking and being lazy.

anna - you poor thing. It must really hurt seeing your mum like that, and having her do nothing about it. At least you can look at your mum and tell yourself that you can give Jett a better life, and a better mother.

How come whenever its my day to sleep in and Df has to get up with Ashleigh she always sleeps in for him? Like today she didn't wake til 8:45! She never does that for me.
Maz- Wow Vys doing great with solids, Ashleigh won't eat anything thats not totally pureed but as long as she eats I'm happy.
AnnaT- Hugs sweety, just concentate on yourself and your son, you don't need that kind of behaviour in your liofe.
Jodi- Ashleigh also loves the video cabinet and removing all the videos and DVD's from it!
ambz- Wow massive post, I think most kids love newspapers, I let Ash rip it but avoid it getting in her mouth, will prolly just come out in her poo anyways!
Kell- It is starting to get funny how they're always doing things together! Next time we holiday to Sydney we will have to meet up and see what those 2 get up to.

Annat how sad.Sad for you because you dont get a mother who is loving and takes responsability for herself and sad for your mother too as she cant get control of her life or herself.Just take a backseat and look after yourself and your family.I dont know if you can totally erase her from your life but a visit now and then or perhaps sending photos of jett may get her to reevaluate her life.Unfortunatley she has an illness and it wont get better ever until she wants it.Sad,sad,sad.
