We've just been to see a couple houses open for inspection, must be a new thing having them oopen on a wed cause hadn't really seen it before, mind you no one else was at the places so might be a waste of their time. Found one place that we quite liked, but we gonna see few more on sat. I feel all I do in my spare time is house hunt!

Nelle- I've had AF once and it lasted only 2 days and hasn't returned, that was 6 weeks ago now, so god knows when our bodies get normal again. I'm also quite intrigued bout clean house and ttc where the connection is?

    Hi all,
Has anyone been watching "mums and bubs" on TV? What do you think of it?
I find myself sitting down to watch it purely out of curiosity. I dont seem to have gotten any really great advice as yet tho...............

Hey Ells, the KK thing's something we organised a fair while back, getting each other's babies something for their first birthday. I think you might have missed the boat on that one...unless there's a few of you newies that want to exchange too?

Can someone remind me what the price limit/range is again? I have an idea...but no idea if it will work!!

Nope, haven't been watching Mums and Bubs. Is it good? Who's it sponsored by?

Oh, mercy girls! It's okay, you don't need to feel too nervous eating off my dining table, LOL!! It's just that I know how I don't feel like doing housework when I'm pregnant, so I panicked because I wasn't in the routine of cleaning very well. And I also panicked because there are other 'habits' I want to have a little better grasped, like connecting with Rans over a cuppa daily, and reading my bible daily. You know? Because with each child, these things that are important to me are going to get harder to get around to, so I kinda want to really try on cementing them into my daily routine before the next one. Kapeesh?
So it's okay, I wasn't worried about doing an AAHJ (Anna at Hungry Jacks)!

    Okay, so.
    River Jude, Sept 27th.

    1. size: Think he'll be a 1. If in doubt, upsize!
    2. colours: Urban colours, grey, brown, darker greens, blues, black, whites...like mumma really.
    3. wooden/plastic: prefer wooden, but really couldn't care less.
    4. educational/fun: whatever. If it's something that makes annoying music though, I WILL come after you.
    5. likes: Vintage stuff, oh...um, River. What's his criteria...can he chew it? haha. He doesn't mind books. He likes to turn the pages and chew on them.
    6. Dislikes: Not commercial stuff, like bob or pooh. Not cutesy stuff like teddy bears or sailor stuff. Unless it's sailor tattoos kind of cool.
    7. Wishlist: Quirky stuff, funny things, things that make noise when he hits/touches them. That's now though...what are 1 year olds into?

    3. wooden/plastic: prefer wooden, but really couldn't care less. Agree with Nelle!
    4. educational/fun: whatever. If it's something that makes annoying music though, I WILL come after you. Yep, still agreeing with Nelle!
    5. likes: Ainsleigh is like her Mum, not fussy! Just loves to receive pressies and know that someone was thinking of her.
    6. Dislikes: Not commercial stuff, like bob or pooh. Not cutesy stuff like teddy bears or sailor stuff. Unless it's sailor tattoos kind of cool. Yep, still with Nelle (but don't know how Ains would look with sailor tatt's!)
    7. Wishlist: No wishlist, like I said, she's easy to please!

Nelle - Thanks for the info

Rikki - I hope Ainsleigh gets better soon.

I watch mums and bubs out of curiosity as well, it's good that they have a show like this on for as stay at home mums.

We have this guy who has just recently moved in with us(tuesday) and I think me and DP should have a talk with him. Pay day was last night he went straight out and spent his WHOLE pay check on strippers and alcohol, came home tipsy and they just left for work (dp and him work together). The whole reson he moved in was to get away from the people he went out with last night and grow up. Not working tho. He didn't even pay his board for the week first so has to borrow money of one of the blokes to pasy board and get thru the week. What do you think I should do? Tell him to grow or f*** off? Sorry not really baby talk but had to get it out.

hmm ellie i think i would tell him to walk.. i bet he would not be acting this way if he was living with his mother!

i think people need to start of a houseshare situation on the right foot, if he has not even managed to pay the 1st week board.. not a good thing.

however, could he be depressed, has he just broken up in a relationship etc, it could be his way of dealing with things, he might just need your help ?

hope that you and DP can sort things out

ellie - I agree with annie, tell him where to go. He needs to either pay up when it's pay day, or it's nothing. It's hard enough having a baby to deal with, you don't need this on top of it.

annie - those pics are just gorgeous !!! Olivia certainly loves her little brother doesn't she.

Well Nina is still asleep, after 14.5 hours sleep, I think she's stiring.

belle - how are you going sweetie? And how's Julia?
