shell - is it family day care or childcare you've got Ash booked into? We put Nina in childcare as there are more staff, therefore an increased chance for one on one contact. Having said that though, a friend of mine does family day care and she does a great job with 6 kids all on her own. You'd be surprised at what the staff will do to help bubbas sleep. Nina's childcare for example like to follow my routine, bed same time, same food etc, that way her routine isn't thrown out the window. They even put her down for a sleep the same way I do.
I agree with kel, try leaving her with someone she's familar with, family or close friends, for a few hours, and see how she goes. You could even try leaving her when she's due for a feed and see how she goes with ebm when you're not there? But no need to rush it, do it when you're ready, and when Ash is ready to.

kel - that's good news that there's a possibility of other treament. Fingers crossed the tests come back to say he can have it. Did the cancer spread much?

Nina is still awake, in the afternoon/evening, she'll only go down for the night once she's been awake for about 4 hours. She woke up from a nap at 5pm, so she should be down by 9. She slept 4 hours in total today, no wonder she's running around the house ATM in her walker!
