Anna- Want a 4 door car but not too big cause I can't park well. Lol. Want something reliable, one that has parts that are easy to get. As for cylinders, I have no idea!
Shell - Sorry to hear about your IL's... I hate it when people offer help with massive emotional 'conditions'. As to cars, what are you looking for sizewise? sedan/wagon? 4,6,8 cyl? I've been involved with the auto industry for 10 years, and DH has been an auto tech for 15 so can help with suggestions if you like! If you see something you like, let me know what it is and I'll try and find out common faults etc.

Anna T - Hope that morning sickness settles really soon. I can't imagine how hard it must be for you. I know when you are sick, it is hard enough just looking after yourself!! Did you have M/S in your last pregnancy.
Rach - Great to hear that Jack did better last night. Give it a week or two and I bet you will be able to get him to sleep by 9pm.
We are off to Gymbaroo this afternoon, and then later this evening my mum will be flying home from London. She has been gone 2 months, so I can't wait to see her again.
Nothing too big? Hmmm... so Commodores and the like are 'too big'? If so, might be a tricky one as smaller cars (generally 4 cyl and cheaper to run) are holding their value better due to demand. Even tho heaps of people do bag them; for no genuine reason; Hyundai's are great value for money and cheap as to maintain and run, have good resale and sell easily. X3 (model) Excels do come in 4 door and generally with a/c and power steering. If you can stretch the budget another couple of K, buy an Accent as they are better. Problems with these cars are generally the HT Leads or the TP Switch, both are cheap to replace in comparison to problems with many other cars.
Meg - Enjoy Gymbaroo, how is James' roseola going?
Yeah I did but not this bad. This is every second a feeling of wanting to be sick, its awfulKudos to anyone who had this full on m/s, I thought my 3 pukes a day with my last pregnancy was horrible!
AH! Jett is singingHe doesnt say actual words just blah blah blah's along with songs and inserts "Mum' 'Daddy' or 'Bubba' randomly throughout. Its so cute when he also bops along with it too!

Vy has been standing and letting go for a bout 2 days now. She's been letting go and stands for about 30 seconds until she realises and just plonks ont he ground. Her favourite food is still the cats and god, the smell of that on her breath makes me barth!

All this m/s talk is bringing back memories, all those vomits, all the migraines I used to get... the list goes on.
*Belle*- hugs belle, just remember for each step back you can take 2 or more forward. That clingyness can be so tiring!
Anna**- Yeah Commodores might be too big for me, serously I tell you I am the worst parker in the world, gave up reverse parking long ago but even drive into parks I can stuff up! Hyundai would be good, my last car was a Hyundai Scoupe, I rarely had a problem with it, sold it cause it was only 2 doors. I might look into the brands you mentioned. Umm what is a HT Leads and a TP Switch?
Nelle- Where are you?
LOL Shell... I actually own the 'SCOUPE' number plates! Don't own the car tho.
crap just fell down the 3 steps out the back and I think I may have jerked my neckgod it hurts, thank god I waited for jack to have a nap before getting clothes off line otherwise he would have been in my arms
****e ****e my kneck and back are killing me
Hi Anna** Gymbaroo was fun as always. James cries when we have to go home. Then he is so razzed up, I can kiss goodbye to him having an afternoon snooze. Lucky he had 1.5 hrs this morning which is more than he usually does.
The Roseola is all gone and he is not contageous any more (hence going to Gymbaroo)
But I had to let all the parents know at Gymbaroo, as he could have given it to them from when we were there last week. (He got sick Late Weds nite, so he could have passed the bug on)
Rach.. oh me too! So strange! I wonder if its the HGW playing with my mind.
Shell.. oh i hate when that happens! Oh some people get funny like that.. but youre the ones living there not them. Poor DH. :hugs: Well, at least he has you. Cars.. i have a Nissan Pulsar, so does my mum (hers is a little older than mine) but neither of us have any had any problems with them.. theyre great. Ive had mine for over a year and never had to have anything fixed yet (touch wood). Mum had another Nissan before that and found it great also.
Anyways, i have a killer headache up the back of my neck so will continue later..
Nelle is around just taking a break![]()
Shell, I have a Ford Focus so not exactly in your price range unfortunately but I absolutely love it. Im going to cry when we have to sell it soonI finally reasoned Ry into the fact that we need a new, bigger car. Im still gunning for a Ford Explorer but he wants a Falcon.
tell him falcon no good for car seats no bloody room, we have a 04 falcon and have to have Jack on the side as with the carseat in centre Jase who is 6'4" can't have his seat back properly, so the same will be when we have 2 car seatswhat we will do then
Nelle, you down mate? Just lurkimg.Hope you feel better to chat soon.
