I've had a mazda 323 and Hyundai Accent, both really good cars. I now have a Ford xr6, probably too big for what you want, but a great car!!

belle - hope you're ok, big hugs to you, and hope Julia's clingyness doesn't last too long.

hi to everyone else, got to organise Nina for bed, in time for State of Origin

I'm here Shell (and Caddie)! I can't keep up being awesome all the time, but now I'm rejuvenated and ready to rock your world with my awesomeness once again. Aren't you all lucky

My mum has a Nissan Pulsar as well and likes it, but it cost her more than $4000. The more common a car is though, the more likely you are to find it at a good price I reckon.

Kell, your HGW dreams are tripping me out man. It might be worth it just for the dreams!

That's great Ness! Sounds like a great break for you!

Hmm, what else was I going to say...oh yeah, thanks for the msg Rikki Has Ain's chest cleared up now?

Not much going on here, honestly, after a busy weekend, it's been so quiet and dull here. That's okay by me though. Oh man, anyone else's baby have a thing for cords? I'm always giving Riv the stern word about cables...I can't keep him away!

Im still gunning for a Ford Explorer
AnnaT - they don't call them Ford Exploders within the industry for nothing Look at a Ford Territory, it's just basically a higher version of the Falcon so pretty much a comprimise between what both of you want. I've got a Falcon and find it has plenty of room... you wont get much bigger in Oz for leg room anyway, most 4WD's actually have less despite the perception of being bigger.

Shell - I was also going to suggest a Nissan Pulsar, but they hold value really well so you'd have to get a pretty old one if you went that way. They are a pretty great car tho, look at the N14 or N15 (mid 94 onwards) model of those for something in your price range. Mazda's are pricey to maintain, but it's all a matter of opinion really and they are generally good cars (some of the smaller older ones are Fords rebadged anyway)

Hi Nelle - Great to see you back. When you said 'cords' I instantly thought about the pants

Maz - Good to hear from you, poor you not being able to handle the smell of vegies. Hey, weren't you like that with Vy? Maybe it's another girllllllllllll....

Nessa - How exciting that you've booked your flight I'm so hanging to go on a holiday, but everything is so expensive from Perth!

Hello to Caddie, Jodi, Belle, Meg, Laurin, Shell, HelenP, Annie, Kellxx, Rach and the rest of you yummy mummy's!

Ness - how exciting for you to go on a short holiday...are you going by yourself?
Nelle - glad to hear your rejuvinated (my sp up the creek) and thanks for the info in the nappy thread too. As for the cord thing, cant help, sorry, Vy trys to chew the blasted things, thank god she has no teeth otherwise Id have a fried vy
Shell - our other car is a vn wagon and they are huge inside...I know its a bit older 1989, but I think it cost $70 for a tank of petrol and we get 550km out of it. Heaps of leg room and great room in the back for kids too. We bought it when we had Nikolaus. Im going to miss it when Jed trades it in at the end of the year for a ute. Good luck on your quest honey.
Belle - hope your okay and that you havent decided to tie Jeffery up out the window yet PMSL
Rikki - how ar eyou going mate? Hows ains? Better?

Been to the bank today, there for over an hour so it looks like we can consolidate some of our $$$ and save $500 a month. Just feeling very overwhelmed with all this crfap at the moment cause Jed doesnt do any of the budgeting and likes to say blow it im having this. grrrrr. then I have to fix it up later. Sorry for my grip but thanks for letting me get it out girls.

    YAY NESSA! WOO!!!

Shell/Anna**.. yeh i think mums is around a 94 model, mine is a98.. but her Pulsar goes great guns..shes had it for years.. theyre great small cars yet still have plenty of room.

Nelle.. you mean power cords? Jess loves other types of cords.. the cords on my trackies.. the cord that ties his pram toy on.. he'll sit and play with that the whole time! But yeh if we had electrical ones showing im sure he'd go for them too! Good to see you!

annat / maz - hope you guys feel better soon. Good luck with your ultrasound tomorrow anna!

maz - that's great news about saving more $$$, any amount of money in your pocket is a good thing.

    Hi,
I have heard that the Toyota Corolla's are pretty good cars. I had a Pulsar and loved it. Also for a larger car, that saves more $$$ than the Commodore types, the Nissan XTrail is good. (we have one) and the advantage is that any size stroller can fit in the back, plus a dog etc.......

    Morning all,

Kell- I had weird dream again too, can't remember properly but I know it always happens Weds nights after watching Heroes!

Nessa- yay, how exciting, bet you'll be counting down the days til you go.

Maz- Finances are a headache, we been trying to sort out who has best loan and how much we can get for a mortage, I have a headache from it all.

Anna**- I been looking at the excels, cause they seem to be the best in my price range. I found one, automatic (I'm sick of driving manual!) 116,000km, 1995 model, they asking $4,800. You think they worth around that? And Lol at owning scoupe number plates.

Nelle- Yay, I was missing your awesomeness and your pearls of wisdom. And yes Ash loves cords, why do they always love what they can't touch?

Rach75- How is the neck today? You poor thing.

Not much to report here, we've decided to go to auction on sat and try get the house with or without IL's help. We can do on our own just will have to have a good budget.

Ok so Im a tool but I meant a Ford Territory Anna lol I keep getting them both mixed up. Hmm Ry is so set on a Falcon but it all depends on how many bubs we have, if its just one then we can do it, but if its 2 then we may have to go a 4WD. This is all way to hard, wish I could just keep my Focus

Be back later once Ive had my ultrasound. I feel ok today m/s wise but who knows where I'll end up at the end of the day lol

Things aren't looking too good for me today. Dr rung this morning to ask me to come in regarding the test results. They wouldn't tell me over the phone. And about an hour ago I started spotting. I did another test and it still comes up positive, so I really don't know what's going on. I'll pop back in later after the dr's.
