Im with a private OBGYN Ambz so I get a quick scan every appointment starting from 6wks. I also have had 4 m/c so its for my peace of mind that a) its in the right place and b) it IS a successful pregnancy with a heartbeat. If you lie and say your not sure of your dates they may let you go for one at 6wks or so.

Ah I was looking forward to going snowboarding too, now I'll have to watch on the sidelines this year lol I manage to have my pregnancies through all the fun stuff *sigh* If there is a next time Im planning it better lol
