We didn't have the best night either, Ash woke as usual at 10:45, had her feed then was upset bout something and wouldn't settle til 1am, she had a slight temp, 38.1 I gave her nurofen and then this morning she is fine, so who knows what going on. Always seems to be at night when trouble arises.

Caddie- I am the same, I've always had to be the strong one in my family, everyone else has lots probs and maybe being the eldest of 4 also I've always felt like the one to look out for everyone else. So now its hard to show how I feel cause like you said it does make you feel weak although I know I shouldn't.

Meg- I was at Chadstone just last week. Hope you are buying yourself lots nice things.

Chrissy- How is Craig doing? Any news?

We drove all way to mornington this morning to pick up baby swing, one of those lift and lock I think they're called, got off e-bay. My dad told me it'd be a 40min drive from my place, but took us an hour! Ash got stroppy too so had her screaming, had headache from being up til 1am and felt car sick from trying to read melways!

    Shell and Rach,
I hope your bubs give you a better night tonight. James has been chucking tanties all afternoon. He didnt want to be in the car. There were 3 lots of roadworks between here and Chadstone, so he had a big cry in the car. Also he has rosy red cheeks still, and his mouth seems to bother him more in the afternoon/evening. Tim managed to buy a few new things from Quicksilver, and James got a new hoodie.

Funny story - James just received his Huggies Musical Mat. I thought that I would give him some nudie time on the floor before his bath and put him on his mat thinking that if he had a wiz at least it wouldn't be on the carpet. Anyway I look back at him, thinking "gee he is really sliding around on that mat". It turns out he had done a wee and he was playing in it!!!! lucky he was just about to get in the bath!!!

    Hi Girls

Just back from Namibia, but I have been reading through some of the posts and our girls, Chrissy and Caddie are both in difficult circumstances at the moment. Chrissy - thinking of you and Craig and your children, doctors do amazing things these days and all the September mums will be praying for you. Caddie - you are having a scary time at the moment, I hope your DH is giving you lots of big hugs, it is hard to be strong all the time especially when the situaiton you are in is your own personal one.

No other personals girls - sorry - it is dinner time and bathtime - the usual witching hour.....

    Bye

Caddie - I think you are so strong woman. Especially seeing you are a nurse and know all about whats going on. I hope aaron pulls up and lets you get the pain out that you need. I so wish we all lived closer cause I know we'd all be on your door step, without a choice. Take Rikki and Anna up on meeting up with them honey, and just rememeber to keep breathing, for you. Im thinking of you.

Ha ha Ness - I hate cats.
We had another wonderful night sleep here. James was awake at 3am, but was happy to stay in his cot. i am not sure how long he played around in there coz I went back to sleep. Anyway was still asleep at 8am this morning, so I ended up waking him up, because I want to keep him going down at a reasonable hour at night,

    Chrissy your way

    Rach for your friend.

Maz for the sleep through. Lets hope she keeps it up

Chrissy- God, I can't imagine what you must be going thru, how scary for you. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Stay strong, you will all get thru this.

Rach- Your poor friend, how devastating. My thoughts are with her.

Ness- How is your friend doing? He still in coma? Any improvements?
I remember as a kid we used to always get cats under our house doing that wailing meow on heat. My dad used to go out there and bang around, throw rocks to scare them off.

Ambz- Sounds like you are having a good pregnancy. Hope it stays that way, you getting any m/s at all?

Maz- yay on Vy! Hopefully this is the start of sleeping thru again. Hope you start feeling better soon.

    Gotta go ppl here

mum and dad been over today, took them to show the house we want to buy and went out for lunch. Nice day.

Caddie- Glad hubby made up for his insensitivity, maybe he didn't realise at first how upset you actually were by the news. Do things for yourself to keep your spirits up.

Ness- I hope all goes well with your friend coming out of the coma. And good luck with organising everything for teleahs birthday.

Hope everyone else is enjoying there weekend.

Caddie - hope you are having a nice weekend with your family and I agree sometimes it is so much easier to keep busy rather than have your mind ticking over all the time.

Laurin- things have improved alot with sleep here. She'll generally feed around 10:30-11:00ish then go til 5:00-6:00. Some nights though she does wake in between but either settles herself or just needs little pat to resettle. I hope things start improving at your end. Are you still planning on going to the sleep school?
