Meg, I went 2 weeks early but I cheated and was induced because I got pre eclampsia. BUT that said Miss Anna** decided to jump the gun out of the blue (braxton hicks eh Anna? ) I think that you shoudl always take the "First babies are always late" myth with a grain of salt, babies come when they come. Just tell her to pack a few essentials ie pads, maternity bra's, change of clothes and toiletries plus stuff for bub in a bag and leave it. Thats about all she'll need and if she does go into labour early she can add stuff before she goes. How exciting!
