Rach -I find that so funny, as from my house it is a 5 min walk to Subway, Maccas and KFC. HJ's is about a 7 min drive, and I can also walk to a pizza place, and noodle box. Not that I do that often tho. Although when we move house there will be none for about 20 kms. In a way I am looking forward to that.
Chrissy - really sorry mate. You wonder how people can find enjoyment in arson.

James slept well last night. I put him on Dimatap and it seems to have dried out his boogers and make him much more bearable. he still has a bad cough though. we were invited to an indoor playground tomorrow, but I dont think we should go, as if he sucks on things he might give it to someone else.
Going to have a quiet one here tonight. I have a whole couchful of laundry to sort. How exciting!!!!

seriuosly we have one dodgy chinese restaurant as such and a small take/away that if ya want to get food poisoning or eat crappy overcooked food then go there, we have to cafes, one is open mon-fri and is very very $$$ not really a cafe as such as they only have 2 tables on th street the other is nice but also only outside eating 4-5 tables but again is $$$ as such we did get a chooks (similiar to red rooster but yucky if comaprison) open recently oh and I forgot mobil has a mobile eagle boys pizza $5 for a small 1 person pizza and OMG they are horrible.........I miss cheap tuesday's for pizza, mind you we hardly have anything now except KFC even when we can and KFC is cause it is on the drive home from Agnes

I got Xander weighed today as well... 9.3kgs. I don't think she measured his length right as he is only 71cm??? He was longer than that the last time I had him measured :lol:
Annie- Poor thing, must be hard for you too. Is he getting used to the mask? I remember in uni when I had to do one of my placements at the childrens hospital I was on the repiratory ward and I hated having to hold the kids down to put on the masks. Its awful but they need it.
Chrissy- That just is so f%*ked. Its bad enuff they are stealing cars but a family car makes it worse, they would've known too.
Maz- that sucks they only have mums groups for first time mums. Must be similar most places cause all the mums in my group are first timers, bit silly though cause it'd be nice to have a group each time so each child has kids there own age to play with.
Good to see these bubs are putting on weight, funny though that Xander has shrunk!
Oh and speaking of fast food last week my sister ordered a big mac without the meat. So we get baxk to my place and even though it has the slip on it that says no meat it has meat in the bottom half then the top half has nothing, I mean absolutely nothing, just dry bun!

Well girls, I have to ring the hospital soon to get Wilhelm booked in for his ECG. I noticed today that he had 2 space outs...not good. non seizurable epilepsy is what his ped thinks he has..ah we'll wait and see..just another thing to add to his list. Jed said he'd take him cause I really hated it when they knocked WIlhelm out for the catscan and blood he had a few years ago..plus being pg. Im just scared to pick up the phone and make that call.

I thought i was so clever last night. We had left over bolognase so i made some pastry outta flour and butter.. put the bolognase in, put cheese on top and baked them! Oh my goodness!! They were the best ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

poor Ash has some weird rash on her leg (again) but this one seems alot diferent to the usual exzema she gets. Going to Dr's later, its all really red and blotchy. Its just on the one leg but has doubled in size since last night when I first noticed it. She was bit unsettled too overnight, don't know if it was related but she finally settled with some nurofen.
I love the Shrek McFlurry! and the thickshake... but then I love all things choc-mint.

we are off to drs shortly as well Jack has had weird #2 for a week now nephew had a bug that lasted 3-4 days so we thought it may have been same but man his #2 are horrid, 3-4 very very runny almost mucousy every day I cut his solids back to basic stuff bottled fruit and veg like pot, carrot etc, but still he seems ok otherwise except his front fontenel seems a little sunken so off to dr we go at first was told no appoint then I said well he is 9 motnh and has had the runs for a week she got us in very quick :lol: sometimes you got to overact :lol:
Anna I normally love choc-mint but it was horrid maybe it wasn't made properly but *spew*

his advice and yes I am for real, for the runs cut out his formulka and give him diluted carnation milk *****!!!!!!!!!!!!!!* talk about atiquated advice, anyway I said how bout lactose free formula as he wanted me to remove dairy for a week or so he was like ummmmmm..............I feel the carnation milk is a better idea, so i said I would think about it NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
spoke to the nurse there and asked her opinion she said call child health they would have update info about what to do so rang them and one of them was in town so raced to clinic and waited as she was on lunch anyway managed to have a chat and she suggested soy formula for a few days
she wants all dairy cut out for a week or so to give his belly a rest
and then :wall:anyway he also needs a iron supplement, so I go to chemist and he is like did he give you a dose I am like no so he gives me some stuff and says it would help if he gave you more info I am like dont worry I doubt I will be going back I will drive to bilo or rocky anyway I mentioned the carnation milk and the chemist and saleslady both were like we did that blah blah and I said but its very antiquated advice and the chemist said why spend the $$ seeing a dr if you dont take their advice

Thanks for your thoughts to girls on WIlhelm...I try not to think about it to much ATM cause he's on an upper...Ive gotten him to wear long pants for the first time in 1 1/2 years for the last 2 weeks. We would normally freak out and hit himself in the head or head butt $hit and scream uncontrollably for hours until they were off. I put up with it for 2 days the other week and now long pants arent a problem any more..YAY. He's wearing jumpers now too...Shrek ones of course (he loves Shrek - I htink its green thing - its his fav colour) so its been a tough few weeks here but we're slowly winning. I cant wait until we see his pedi in september cause he is just going to spin right out about how far he's come its great but not so good to cause we have to have an IQ test done soon to see if he can attend his special needs school and do 2 days mainstream. I dont think Wilhelm will cope very well with mainstream school full time. god my life would be a nightmare.
Enough of my ramblings...first day off from the sewing machine in weeks and ive got more orders...ahhhhhhhhhhhh

My day has been cr@ppola coupled with the fact that I had some bleeding last night and Ive got sciatic pain :cry: Ry remember to wish me a HB an HOUR after I got up and only because he heard his Mum do it. No cards, no presents (not even some flowers or chocolates) and no birthday cake. I was hoping we could go for a drive to a town about 40min away and have some lunch and a browse of the biggest candy store Ive ever seen but nooooooooooooooo the inlaws decide we'll go have lunch with friends of theirs also visiting the area. It was at this dinky little cafe and they had 3 things to order off the menu, 2 of which I couldnt eat due to food allergies and the last one was sold out. Soooooo I didnt get lunch. Then Jett cracked his chin on Ry's head and screamed blue murder for 20min. So we came home and they left to go look at the Army museum (oh yeah my birthday dream :rolleyes: ) so Jett and I have stayed here so he can sleep and I can have some time to myself. I am hoping to go out to dinner tonight at my fave italian restaurant but my FIL hates italian food and keeps making faces when I mention it. Theyre pee'd off at me but I dont give a rats patootie, its MY birthday for cripes sake. Im starting to feel hemmed in with the inlaws being here. I dont remember them being so annoying but then again we've never spent more than 3 days with them at any one time. Jetts so out of his tree that he is being very whingy which is not like him. Now I have to spend tonight packing to go to Sydney tomorrow and hope I get some decent sleep so Im not driving tired in the morning.
Sorry about the vent, I had to get it out somewhere and Im sure Ry wont want to hear it.
Upside is I am 12wks tomorrow :dance: 1 more week til my nuchal scan and 3 more weeks til I can find out whether we have pink or blue bits!

Nelle.. not at all.. was just normal bolognaise from the night before.. but you could put anything in it, veges etc.. then the pastry was just 1/2 cup SR flour, 1/2 cups plain flour, 1/4 teaspoon salt, 60g butter marg or lard (i just used butter) and a bit or water.. you just combine the flour and salt.. then rub the butter in until it looks like breadcrumbs. Then slowly add some water, little bits at a time until it becomes dough like then roll it out (i used a glass).. and put it in whatever. (we have oven proof bowls i just used them).. put the bolognaise in, cheese on top.. stick it in the oven on about 220 degrees and cook for about 20-30 minutes.. or until you see the pastry is golden looking and the cheese also golden. YUUMMOOO! Wasnt hard at all!

Well by time I was due to go Drs the rash had pretty much dissapeared but went anyway and he said it was prolly material r the dye and just keep diary of what she's wearing when it flares up. It makes sense cause she had on new pj's last night and it was this morn it was real bad.

Kell- I just read your vent I'd be pi$$ed too. Don't bother going out of your way for her, she can contact you for a change. I hate when things like that are all one sided and you do all the chasing and they don't bother doing anything.
Rach- Maybe that Dr should retire. Hopefully his tummy settles down and no more runny poos. Don't forget too in the future you could call the MCHN advice line or even nurse on call just to get other opinions.

Maz- Its great to hear even with all the probs that Wil is coming along so well. My nephew is same age as him, he'll be going to the autism school next year, its quite a good school, used to be for all special needs children but couple years back made it exclusively for autistic children and they get placed in classes depending on there needs levels. Its great cause they have full time speech therapists, OT's all of that. She was thinking of mainstream but in the end decided he would prolly get lost in the system.
I think a ghost visited me last night, was really weird cause i didn't know if I was dreaming or not but I was in bed and this male figure in striped PJ's was sort of leaning over me. gave me a fright and when I went to push him away i couldn't cause he wasn't really solid so I screamed and sat up in bed and woke Df with fright. I dunno what it was about, couldn't see a face just rememeber the PJ's.
