That's great that you had a good day Kell!

River's sick and teething here, so he's off to the dr tonight - his cold has moved to his chest, which is a little concerning. He doesn't sound too great.

    Happy Anniversary Kell!

Nelle - How'd the doctors' go? Is Riv is ok? chesty colds are yukko... I still remember when he scared the bejeezus out of you when he was a newborn when he had a chesty cold.

Maz - Your house still in one piece after the party yesterday? Hope the weather held out so the kids could go outside.

Shell - I don't really have many people to ask for babysitting either, well not on any decent night (like Sat night) anyway! Makes it hard as it is all too easy to start feeling 'trapped' after a while.

Talking of feeling a bit trapped, I've been feeling that way as of late. Yesterday I decided I needed to do something about it and made Scotty watch Alexander for a bit so I could go for a blast on the bike. Ahhhhhh, feel so much better now the SAHM cobwebs have been blown out! Bugger is is raining or I would've gone again today.

That's awesome Anna, I bet a ride made all the difference!

Rans starts holidays tomorrow! Hurrah!! I think I ovulated today too, so I'd better not be on the computer too long.

As for the River boy, he's got a virus, which we can't do too much about, just got some Dimetapp for him and will Fess him up to try and help him decongest. Ohh Anna I still remember when Riv choked too, full on that was a shock.

Shell, would people from your Mother's group babysit? I reckon in a pinch, I could drop Riv at one of their houses. But I'm pretty lucky in that, apart from my family, I've got plenty of my church 'family' who'd look after River too. Plenty of late high school/uni/young adults I'd trust. Especially if I was close, and they could call their mums if they had questions anyway.

All the best with your MIL tomorrow Kell. Just deep breaths and think 'while this annoys me, is it really bad for the Jess man?' Rans says that to me all the time. MIL wants desperately for us to go to their church next weekend so she can show River off, and while it will annoy me for probably some irrational reason, it will just be a once off and we will cope. As long as he's not passed round. I know that your MIL doesn't do it once off Kell, but you know that once Jess is a toddler, he will just wriggle out of her grasp and be wanting to play with other things so hopefully it won't last. Has Grahame talked to her about it? I can't remember.

Man I'm exhausted. Best haul ourselves off to bed, hope everyone else is getting a good night's sleep!!! xo

Lurking, inlaws are still here (but leave on thursday YAY). 12wks went by last thursday, 3 days off the 2nd trimester now! Have my NT scan on thursday.

Trip to Sydney was a bust, I just couldnt relax and according to Ryan pee'd them all off with my 'behaviour'. Atleast Jett is baptised now and it went smoothly with little crying or fussing. I am so over having them here though and am counting down the days til thursday. My sister comes down for a few days on Saturday so hopefully I will get enough of a break from J to get some decent sleep.

On the J front, he has been sick again with his ears but also with a vomitting/yukky poo bug which I think could be giardia as Sydney's water is contaminated. I tried hard to make sure he never came into contact with it but obviously that didnt work. Thankgod it only lasted for yesterday (oh yeah my car smells like puke ) but the poo's are still lurking. He wasnt drinking much the last 2 days but has now had 3 full bottles. So its been fun times for me. On a good note, he has learnt to wave hello and goodbye He does it all the time now when you head for the door or out of the room

Annie- Oh no, hope little Alexander is on the improve. Booby will make him feel lots better, always does the trick!

Maz- Glad the party went well. Now I know what I have to look forward to in few years when Ash starts having parties.

AnnaT- Those inlaws seem to be staying forever! Sorry your trip wasn't too much fun. I still have to get Ash christened, I'm so slack.

Meg- Hope you start picking up soon. Be great if your mum could help you out for the day so you can rest.

Nelle- I reakon if I did need it they would look after Ash but I would feel bad asking cause they have there own bubs iykwim. Most of my friends from school live on other side of melb cause thats where I grew up so too hard to get them over.

Anna- I was starting to feel that trapped feeling but its been quite good Df on holidays as I've actually just left her with him and gone out for lunch with friends, things like that, makes me feel a whole lot better.

Kell- Glad you had a great anniversary. Sounds nice and cosy, I wouldn't be going out either with this crappy weather.

Well not much going on here, even though i haven't had a real AF yet I think I am O'ing. i'm actually in the mood for dtd! Will have to get the condoms out though no way am i ready for another just yet!

    Thanks for the anniversary wishes.

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY NIKOLAUS!!!!!

Just a quick one for the moment.
Went to the doctors to get a Rubella booster.. he gave me the script so havent got it yet, but wants me on the pill or something before i get it as cant fall pregnant for 3 months afterwards. So he said i have to be on the pill for a month before he'll give me the shot. So now thats 4 months of no TTC... so pushes my October back to NOVEMBER!!! Oh im so grrrrrrr! He tried to tell me i should just get the injection of which i said a big fat NO to. I dont trust that stuff. A friend of mine had it and took her 4 years to fall pregnant. At least i can stop the pill when i want. But he has given me one that supposibly has less estrogin in it so hopefully i wont get migrains. Anyways.. im starving.. have a whingy child here as he didnt have a morning sleep, but thats my fault cos we were out.
    Back later..

Are you not immune to Rubella Kell? I hadn't had my booster since...maybe primary school? But when I found out I was pregnant, I went to the dr, and she checked my blood and found I had quite high immunity to it.
Maybe get a blood test if you're not sure, you never know, you might have come into contact with it somehow and gained some immunity to it - then you don't have to worry but the injection.
But yeah, sucks if you have to get the injection hey. Hugs.

My shins hurt. Maybe I'm still growing. Having Rans home is turning out to be bad, he's noticing how I don't do housework...
