Ness, can you pat her butt or something else that makes her sleepy?

Chrissy, you lucky lady you! Those covers are great Maz! I've got some pics of Riv in your covers on my homepage, but I'll try to grab some really good ones.

Annie, that totally sucks. What's your job? Are you likely to be able to find similar work in your area?

I'd better go, Rans is grumpy cos he can't get past a level on his computer game, and his younger bro got through it first shot poor thing. It's kinda cute when computers make him so grumpy, but I do feel for him, it must be frustrating. I might make him some dinner to cheer him up.

Ness- Ash is the same, she will only sleep in her cot or the car, no where else. If we put her in with us she is climbing on us, over us, trying to grab the blinds, thinks it fun and games time.

God its getting closer til i return to work, 2 weeks yesterday! I'm getting nervous bout going back, leaving Ash and being away from the job for so long I worry i'll have forgotten too much!

SHell - I understand about being anxious about going back to work. I have extended my leave and I am not going back till January. I was meant to go back at the end of Aug, but that is when we are moving house, so I really didnt want to. I really don't want to go back at all, but it is worth it for my long-service. Then I am outta there!!!

Poor Rans! Hope he passed his computer level.

Ness - James is a bit of a pain when he gets into bed with me. He has only slept in with us twice, and that was while we were away this week. He comes in for a cuddle in the morning, and often will have a snooze, but never all night. Does Teleah get in for a cuddle?

Rach - I hope tonight is a better night for you.
Off to mums tomorrow. I am going to stay the night, as she is giving me a sleep in for my birthday. Woo Hoo!! I never thought that I would look forward to a sleep in for my birthday.

Gotta go. Laptop battery is nearly flat.

Oooooooo I'm in so much trouble DH is home for holidays and today TWO lots of fluffy mail (Modern Cloth Nappies) arrived. Busted big time for spending up on the old CC! For those that use MCN, the BumG's have changed again... and are better than ever.

I think I've missed a bit here, sorry!

Annie - Sorry to hear that you are resigning, hope it brings bigger and better things your way soon. Just think tho, you are doing the most important job of them all right now - raising the future generation.

Nessa - Xander is a fidget bum these days too, but doesn't sound as bad as Annika. Like Nelle said, maybe try patting her bum for a bit and she might settle? or maybe she's not tired when you try to get a cuddle? I think it's just a sign that our babies are growing up and going from the easy-going-easy-to-cuddle stage and into the wriggle-fidget-squirm toddler stage. Time is flying by so fast I'm half expecting Xander to tell me about "girl germs" if I try to cuddle him before too long!

    Meg - HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Wow... quite a few seem to be thinking of going back to work soon, will be nice to have some adult conversation I bet. I'm planning to hopefully get pg as quick as possible and just leave it a few years before going back. That being said, I don't know how much longer I can stall having time off, most go back when the bub is one it seems.

Not much to report here except my excitement of the posties' visit today... better go pat those cute little nappies again me thinks. Have a good night girls.

If Ash is teething I wish the bloddy thing would come thru, last night was 3rd bad night in row and worst, in end I just went into lounge and watched tv til she was calm enough to take breast and go to sleep. I feel so crappy now. On top of that AF has appeared and this time I think its for real.

Meg- Hope james is well behaved all day for his mummy's birthday.

Ness- That poker tournament sounds fun, I'd be no good at it, i wouldn't be able to bluff, if I had a good hand it'd show all over my face!

It will be nice to have some adult conversation at work, thankfully I'm only going back 2 days/ week so not too bad, get a break from nappies and grizzling! Plus I am looking forward to the extra money coming in although once we buy house it'll be going into mortgage!

    Happy Birthday Meg!!
    and
Happy Birthday to my darling hubby Grahame!!

Hope you have a great day hun!

Thanks for the thoughts for my FIL and mum.

Nelle/Shell.. grave's disease is basically an overactive thyroid. She has shakiness, nervousness, dizziness, feels like she cant breath, increased heart rate, anxiety attacks etc etc. Cant go out as thats when they mostly come on. She is getting medication for it. If that doesnt ease it, she'll need to have radiotherapy, if that doesnt work, surgery. It needs to be treated as it can effect her heart. Its an incurable disease and can be hereditary. Whats coming out is it looks like my grandmother suffers from it. We all just thought she was claustrophobic, but she seems to have all the same symptoms. Leads to likely that i may develop it one day. If i do, im hoping it is when im older as it can cause miscarriage and still born.

Nelle.. How funny with Rans and his computer game.. oh they get so serious dont they!

Rach.. thats great Jack clapping! IVe been trying for months with Jesse.. he just laughs when i do as if im crazy. Hope Jack is ok. Jesse falls so often, in the bath, just being a clumsy sod, but you still worry poor pet.

Helen.. thanks mate. How old is your sister? I hope Eithan slept better for you last night.
Happy 11 months Eithan for yesterday!

AnnaT.. yep panadol, lemon and honey or Lemsip is ok.

Maz.. hope the blood pressure high is just a one off. I hope things get better.

Shell.. so was DF a star on the telly last night?

Annie.. hope everythings ok.. here to talk if you need it. Ahh.. just read about your job. Well thats right, everything happens for a reason.

Nessa.. Jesse will never lie in bed with me either. He did a hand ful of times in the morning, before he could roll, now its just play time. Congrats on the poker tournament.

Anna**.. oh that happens to me sometimes. Grahame is home from work at 2.30pm, so if the mail is ever late, i sometimes get busted!!

Well, im going to lay on the couch.. have the flu and feel really crappy.

    Ciao for now.
