Just popping in to say that Xander seems to be ok today. Everyone panics in Perth at the moment whenever a young bub gets a sudden high fever.
The Doctor said he at this stage cannont find a reason for the fever.. as yet, no cold or anything has made an appearance.

Good to hear that Anna. Actually the babies in Perth died from Bird flu! I remember it went through Ryan's Unit in the Army 2 years back. About 20 guys got so sick from it they were off work for 3mths! So I can only imagine how dangerous it is for a child, if 20 fit, healthy soldiers go down with it like that. Could he be teething? It can cause a random fever like that.

Ugh Rach, I bet you aged about 10yrs this morning! These kids and theyre antics, you turn your back for 1 second and they get into mischeif! Thankgod he is ok though *hugs*

Im feeling better now. Jetts been asleep since 11:30! He was only up for 2 and a bit hours then sooked for a nap. Is that normal? He'll probably get up by 1:30/2pm and be fine til about 7pm when he gets tired again. Im so glad that he is napping regularly now. Makes my life a little bit easier and gives me some down time (I should be cleaning but eh it wont go anywhere).

I have to go to a baby shower tomorrow, it says on the invite to bring a plate to share. What would you take?

ETA - Ness, thats great! Are you going to go for a home/water birth this time round?

Crikey girls, how on earth will I manage to reply to all that!!

Anna, glad Xander's improved! What a mystery! I'm with Ness, he's not teething?

Annie, hopefully you'll really enjoy your time with your kids before you head back to work, and you'll all settle in well to your new routine.

It's not long at all til you move is it Meg! Make sure you've got pics of your old house so you can show your kids where you used to live! I love seeing stuff from mum and dad's past that I wasn't around for, or was too young to remember. Oh yeah, and I love the name Amilie, it's lovely.

That sounds really great Ness! What kind of birth are you wanting this time round? I want another waterbirth for sure.

Annat I'd bring a fruit platter or something, women always eat those cos they're trying to be healthy. You could always have a chocolate dip with it.

    Nice invite Maz! Good work!

Jodi, I know a little girl called Natalia, like Talia with the na on the front - could Heath be tricked with that?

Let us know what you decide with the jobs Chrissy! And I WAS going to be even sneakier and not say anything til 14 weeks, but I had a moment of weakness.

Oh and Annie, I was going to mention that site yesterday, but I couldn't remember what it was called! Thanks! It's an american one though, so not exactly accurate for what's popular in Australia - cos there's a lot of Spanish names there from their South and Central American demographic.

Oh, I can hear River playing with a glass lamp.
ETA: Ah, I'd left a ramekin in his room and he was hitting the glass lamp with the ramekin. Hehe.

Lol Annat, no you're not as shiningly brilliant as me also you're not in a church community where there's kitchen teas and baby showers and potluck lunches all the time! You get to know the 'standard' foods.
