Caddie - I was actually thinking about making those newborn treasure boxes with the glass fronts (like the one I made you) with a small fleecie nappy in in instead of socks, so sort of combining the 2.
AnnaT - Nelle got me hooked on this yummy salad she made at a nappy catch up....hmmmm
Nelle - Vy sat there hitting my big tea light, door setopper yesterday with a huge bulldog clip...yes she smashed it and laughed..I swear the devil creeped in her for a bit
BBL Vy's running around the house with my watch dangling out of her mouth

OMG, it just took me 20 minutes to read everything. Pretty sure I don't read slow!?!

Anna** Thanks for the advice on Milo. I have never put sugar in it, I think its sweet enough. Actually I think it would ruin the taste. YUMMY. If I gave Bailey caffeine, I would have to up my coffee intake to keep up with the little monkey.

Shell It is easier opening Diesels (furkid) mouth than Baileys when it comes to seeing how the tooth pegs are coming along. Diesel does not bite either! Bails does!!

Nelle Is your family Dutch? My Dad is but he does not cook any Dutch food which is a bummer. I love the biscuits you can buy in Coles called Speccalats...know idea how to spell it.

Chrissy I know what you mean about TTC and going back to work - same issue here.

Rach I would have dies a million times if Bails go into our cupboard under the sink. Hope all is well.

Gotto go do my journal now.

    xxx

anna** - My thoughts would be teething. Hopefully it doesn't get any worse.

chrissy - can you work for a bit, while TTC & finish up when you're ready to have the baby?

vixstar - by your signature, I'm guessing you're really hanging out to be pg again! lol

I've totally forgotten what else I was gonna say. bbl

LOL... love the sig Vixstar! I love those bikkies too! My family are Austrian, so get lots of yummy German food here.

Which reminds me... Bel, did you still need a recipe for Goulash? I've found mine.

I'm with you Caddie. I hate unexplained fevers. I have no idea what it was that caused it as he seems pretty much fine today with still no signs of illness. Yes, he is teething, but I keep getting told that teething causing fevers is an old wives tale? Otherwise, it would've been my first thought. Any ideas on why teething might cause a fever girls?

Maz - I reckon that's a fab idea and a whole lot more practical than socks too. Oh, and Happy 11 Months for Vy yesterday

Rach - Glad to hear everything turned out ok, what a panic that must've been. Have you now got kiddy locks on the cupboard?

Xander's ransacking the place. Thank god I've baby proofs most rooms so that he can only 'trash' unbreakables. He's currently trying to unplug the modem (his latest trick) but I've beat him to it and taped it so he can't

Anna**- One tooth Ash had a temp just for that day and was so clingy and upset next day happy as anything and toothy thru. Its weird I guess the body is reacting thinking its foreign or something!

All these names are amking me think I want another just so we can do name searching, lol, think I'll wait still though.

Happy Birthday to me, mum, dad and sister came over, had a nice lunch and drove them past the place we've bought.
Tonight IL's minding Ash so Df and I can have a nice dinner and movie night just the 2 of us. Don't think we've done that at all since she's been born.

ETA: Also AnnaT there are online uni courses too, they're newish thing I think, look up open university, that way if you did want to do a course you could do in your own time at home, I think you just have to go and find the places to do the work experience at if needed.

Still thinking on what to take to the shower tomorrow. Im probably going to go with Nelle's idea but I think I'll double check with the hostess to see what everyone else is bringing first.

Nina's invite looks fabulous! I had my friend make Jett one like that, I should post a pic of it.

Ive been thinking a bit about work with some of us going to work after having bubs. I feel a bit redundant that I have no skills of qualifications to get a decent job. Im considering going to University when this bub is in preschool.

"Will you still need me, will you still feed me.. When I'm 64!" *does a little tap dance*
    Wow we're 64 ladies! Woaahhh!

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHELL!!!!

Chrissy.. good luck with the jobs. I think that centrelink one would be interesting.. see whats going on behind the scenes etc.

AnnaT.. holey moley i cant believe youre nearly half way!! wow time flies! Hope the morning sickness doesnt hang around for long.

Meg.. i love Emily and Emma actually.

Rach.. oh i hope Jacks ok.. wow makes you think now that theyre crawling what they can get into!

Anna**.. glad spunky Xander is ok. Thats strange. Funny though, Jesse had that temperature the other week and we have no idea why. In my baby book it says teething doesnt cause temperatures but i always thought it did? dunno..

Nessa.. great news you get your midwife back. I had a super nice one deliver Jesse.. though i think its just being luck if you were to go into labour when she was on shift. Definately helps when your more comfortable with the person im sure.

Had mummies group this morning and scored some free knives!! WOAH! Well.. we went to the local shops had coffee etc and woolies were handing out free knives!

Gonna go grab our TTC stats and put them under here so theyre on the first page of our thread..

SHELL!! How did I miss your birthday!!! I'm so glad you said something, hope you have a totally grouse night! What movie are you going to watch?

I'm wearing my favourite tight jeans (okay, they're my sister's but she's overseas, so they're mine for now) and I'm beginning to feel that pressure from the button that I couldn't stand early on last year. POO BUM WEE. I'll try and stick it out, I love these jeans, they make my butt look good.
Starting to feel more comfortable with this preg, did a second test and really, what are the chances of one of my family members coming on bellybelly? Right? Right?

Whoa Kell, knives are a wierd thing to be handing out!!

Jodi, I don't really know what that means, but I see that dancing emoticon, so YAY!! Haha.

Yeah Vicki, Dad was born in the Nederlands, but was about 6months old when they left by boat. His middle name's Johannes though, which I always thought was cool. Yeah I like speculaas too! And all that almond and marzipan kind of stuff. Mmmm.

It means that there are no conditions with the sale, so settlement will definitely be happening!!
I hear you on the favourite jeans. It's taken me a couple of years to get back into mine, and I hardly take them off now!! I feel so good in them.
I'd laugh if your family did come on here, and caught you out! lol But the chances are pretty slim. When are you going to tell them, at 12 weeks? How far along are you now?

chrissy - I was offered a centrelink job a couple of years ago. I was picked out of 2000 applicants, but I turned it down to go study accounting at uni (how boring!). Not a good move on my part cause I hated uni and accounting. They'd probably offer a good maternity package??
