Caddie - James is still very much in a cot. He is not walking yet, so he would probably fall out! Anyway he is in a sleeping bag, so he can't get out of the cot even if he wanted to, as he can't get his legs over. My cot converts into a junior bed, so I am guessing he will be in it for a while.
Shell - Hoping Ash gets better soon.
maz - it must be tough for you now, but just think you wouldn't have "sunshine" otherwise, so it was obviously meant to be. Doesn't make it any easier though does it!!
I am really pi$$ed off at the moment. I have a job interview tomorrow and I planned with MIL a couple of weeks ago to mind james. Anyway she ran this morning and cancelled!! Now I don't have a babysitter, and it is the job I really want. There is no one else that can come at such short notice as we live so far away from everyone. So Tim is going to take the morning off work. MIL hasn't see James in at least a month now. She sees her other grandson who is the same age every week. She really $hits me off..... :angry:

well scan went great everthing was in the right place, and he said im 13 weeks not 12 weeks, and since i charted my cycle, i still think im 12, anyway i asked if you could tell the sex at 12 weeks and he said you most definatly can, if they are in the right spot, well bubs did not behave at first but this guy doing the u/s was really nice, and told me to empty my bladder for another look and sure enough he could see....

Ness, aren't they supposed to tell you when they're going to do roadworks? I'd be writing a letter (letters matter the most I think) of complaint, how inconvenient! They should tell you so you can plan ahead for this kind of stuff!

Well Nina went really well in her big bed last night, slept all night. Lets see how we tonight with it. She looks so cute in it.
Gotta run, I think my dinner is sort of burning away in the oven.
Jodi, my theory is that if sonographers reckon they know what it is, then they've seen a willy...because if they don't see a willy it could still just be hiding.
What did you have burning away in the oven? We're eating risotto, mmm. Oh...and slurpees...I went and got them when Rans was finishing the risotto for me. :p Mmmmm!
Don't talk about slurpee's. Now I want one, and as I live in a semi rural town, there is no where to get them from here. I would have to drive about 30 k's down the road to get one.
Jodi she got told all was good come back next week for anti-natal, all was good she had cramps etc all day but while CTG was on nothing :lol: she is peeved off though all along they have said tentative c-sect 3rd dec said it last week not they are saying may be the 10th :wall: how irritating and of course we have all made plans for the 3rd etc :wall: I can't make it on the 10th :(

Think we're in the terrible 2's stage. Jesse is just being so naughty lately. Climbs on EVERYTHING. When we say no he continues to do whatever over and over and over.. chucks tanties.. cries and whinges if he doesnt get his way.. if you give him something and he doesnt want it, food or a toy while nappy is getting changed, he chucks it. Ahhhhhh! Where has my good obidient little boy gone?! I think Nessa must have taken him back to Adelaide!!

I just finished off Ran's slurpee too...you know what they say, waste not want not. Not that that saying actually makes sense to me...
ETA: Kell, I find my little angel disappears around 12pm and then around 6pm...he goes down for a nap the moment he's grumpy at midday, but we have to just play with him, or let him play with something naughty like a remote for that last half hour before dinner time I find! So I think the 'good boy' thinks stuff this, I'm going to bed!

Apart from that, girls just wanting my time! Just got a bit happening with my family and emotional stuff which is upsetting me a little.Started off with a family tree and geneology and now deep and meaningfuls. Family members thinking their hard done by which is not true. Life is what you make it yourself and you cant blame others. My reasoning anyway..

Well it was the night for it obviously. Except James went to bed happily, but woke briefly at 10:30 pm, and then at 1am he thought that it was play time. Every time I left the room he would howl! I ended up putting him in bed with us, but after about 20 mins of kicks and punches, I put him back in his own bed again. Well you would have thought I shot him the way that he carried on. But he was just playing games so I said "no, it is sleep time, ad you are staying in bed" and left the room. There was tears for about another 10 mins, then he went to sleep. He slept through till 8am. I am now exhausted for my interview. Mummy doesn't like being up for 1.5 hours in the middle of the night!!!

Girls - when the babies have green snot running down the nose is it time to take to the Dr? I have no idea, any answers to my post would be greatly appreciated as im sitting here really anxious.
Hardly slept last night at all, Julia has issues breathing with being congested.
ETA - I have spoken to Anna. Shes seeking the help she needs and trying to deal with everything, its not really good for her right now to come online on the computer due to her issues but she is thinking of everyone.
Rikki has spoken to anna i think.She is still dealing with her issues.

Chrissy- Congrats, I guessed a girl but seeing as I'm always wrong it would be a boy!
I found out too at my 12 week scan I was having a girl so boy would be lot easier to spot.
Belle- Maybe call the Drs. I know green snot isn't too good a color but at same time I don't know if they would do much unless there was an infection.
Meg- Good luck with the job interview, fingers crossed for you it goes well.
Ness- Make sure you tell us what you see on your scan, I don't want any secrets!
Caddie- I agree with you on that one bout life what you make it. My bro is one that does the whole hard done by the world owes him but he never does anything to try better his situation, altho I guess lately he has started to wake up a bit.
Maz- Congrats to your friend and big hugs to you. My thoughts are up there with your twins. Just remember sunshine will lift your spirits up.
Kell- Ash gets naughty these days. She knows certain things she can't touch so she does it anyways then blatenly ignores me if I tell her off (tries to touch faster) and then when I move her away she cracks it. i just ignore her then and if she keeps trying to go back I just keep moving her away.
Ok gotta get off to watch house tiny tear aways and finish getting ready for work.
Oh and now I have to go to dentist again cause last night one of my wisdom teeth just half crumbled away in my mouth, I'm booked in to have all 4 out in jan but this one decided it wants to leave my mouth earlier, bit annoying cause its just gonna increase costs getting this one totally removed now and rest out in jan. I would do the amm now but bottom ones have to come out under GA cause they're impacted. i felt so sick cause I had in my mind all night bout rotting tooth in my tummy.
belle when Jack has a little runny nose I dont worry but as soon as it is green or yellow we head to dr as it is a sign of infection they may not give anything but you can get her checked over etc...........as I said as soon as snot is green or yellow I am off to dr :hugs::

The job interview went really well. It was a company that I called, and as they liked my quals they wanted to interview me. They don't have a pos right at this min (which I knew before I went) but they are looking at creating one for me in the new year, which is exactly what I want. In the meantime they can offer me casual work, which suits me fine. Basically they said that loved me, and really want me to work for them!!!

oh my I am having the yummiest lunch I made a pizza in a tupperware jello mould and am having the left overs OH my gosh it is so yummy :Djust had to share
I think I am getting domesticated again :lol: I just lightly fried some chicken schintzels and have made them up as parmiganas ready to go in oven for tea tonight
I love home made parmigana! We are going to have Quiche tonight. Just have to find the motivation to get down the street to get a few things. It's too hot! It's nearly 30, and that's hot for me!!! :P
How did you make the pizza Rach? I have one of those moulds, and don't use it half as much as I should!
Nelle we got given a little recipe book at last party full of heaps of things to do using the mould :)
this is the pizza
pizza in a jello-ring
ingredients
- 2-3 rasher bacon diced
- 1/2 onion diced
- 1/2 capsicum diced
- about 4-5 mushroom ssliced
- 1 cup ham diced
- 1 cup salami diced
- 1 restaurant (large) loaf bread a day old
- pizza sauce I used 3 scahets
- about 1/2 cup gated cheese
- cut of crust from all sides of bread, spread each slice with pizza sauce (1side) approx 18 slices bread
- lightly grease jello ring
- place the cheese in base of ring evenly
- followed by about 1/3 of other ingredients
- then sauce side down press 6 slices of bread over ingredient around the ring
- press down firmly
- repeat with ingredients and bread
- finish with a bread layer
- put seal on ring and expell air all ow to set in fridge for a least 30mins
- then turn onto a baking tray
- cook for 25min @ 200c
I reckon a little cheese in each layer would make it a bit more tasty like not a huge amount
also you can use pineapple but make sure is dry dry as will make bread soggy
obviously you can have anything you like
but oh so yummy!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bon Jovi tickets went on sale to the general public today and what was left sold out in 8 minutes! Theve then released another show and its sold out too!! Tickets are now selling on ebay for like $600 each!!!!!!! VERY crazy! I reckon there will be a 3rd show.
Kelly do you mean a plain cheesecake they have one that uses jelly as well as plain cheesecake mix, there is also lemon, pineapple and a tolberone cheesecake recipe
cheesecake
- 1 jelly
- tin condensed milk
- 250grms cream chees
- 1/3 cup lemon juice
- about 1/2 sachet geletine
- pack scotch finger bickies (crushes)
- enough butter to moisten bickies
- 300mls hot water
- spray ring with cooking spray
- mix jelly with hot water pour into ring an dlet set
- beat cream cheese till soft
- add condesend milk a little at a time until smooth
- add geletine and mix well
- add lemon juice mix well
- pour into jello ring to set a while
- melt butter and mix into bickies spread on top of cheesecake mix and firm down a litte
- place seal on expelling air
- refridgerate
- best to make 24hrs before serving
- turn out onto flat surface

I took your advice and went to see our Dr, she said that her breathing is ok atm, and her ears are ok just bit pink so no ear infection thank god, Just got to keep close eye on her and give her lots of liquid. Mum is minding her atm as I have been over anxious about this and it was her day to mind Julia anyway. So trying to rest, however Mum called worried about Julia not eating or drinking anything and just staring into space and watchin tv and not being able to sleep either. I told her to give her a bath and steam and see how she goes with eating some pasta cause she loves it..if shes not ok bring her back home. Now im really anxious. Mum is usually the real strong one...and shes really worried...just gotta tell myself that she will be ok. Its hard when you have PND and have anxiety not to be overworried. Im supposed to go see my psychologist in the morning which is why mum has Julia... but may have to cancel if shes too sick and go back to the Dr... sigh....

Hugs Belle, you do a great job. Even those of us with no diagnosed problems (Rans probably would diagnose me as crazy sometimes :p) have days where we worry about everything and get overanxious. I know it's not the same, just wanting you to know you're doing a great job and that tomorrow is a new day! Hoping Miss Goolia doesn't get sicker!
Could the not being interested in food have to do with the heat? Is it hot for you guys? I know that all of us here (River, Rans and I) don't eat half as much in this hot weather, but we drink STACKS! Maybe try a kid friendly banana smoothie or something?

I am sure that Julia will be fine. Like Nelle said, keep up the fluids. I am now totally weaned off my antidepressants. I have started with rescue remedy when I get anxious and it works a treat. I had a lot of strange side affects - like feeling dizzy and really thirsty, but most of that seems to have passed now.
Take care of yourself, and your little bubba will be fine xxx
belle - I second what the other girls have said. You're doing a fantastic job. How is Julia going now, did you have to go and get her? Don't worry too much if she goes off her food or even her milk. Nina goes off these when she's sick. As long as she's drinking plenty of water that's the main thing. How did she like daycare last week?
nessa - what a bummer about your scan. Hopefully your at your next scan you can tell what it is. He/she will probably hide then too, and make you sweat it out!
That's wonderful news about the job interview Meg. It seems to be falling into place for you, which is great. And also wonderful news you've weaned off your meds. I've taken rescue remedy on occassion and find it works too.

Belle- the joys of being a mum! I think a pre- requisite of most us mummies is worrying! I knw the other night when Ash was off from her needles I was all stressed to the point of tears yet Df was all calm. I bet Julia is fine too, we just can't help worrying ourselves.
Meg- congrats on the great interview, sounds like its falling really well into place for you.
nelle- hmmm, as my mum would say a slurpee isn't really a "fluid" as such! Naughty girl you should be having proper water based fluids.
Ness- That child of your is already causing you grief and he/she isn't even born yet! Those 4d scans are fantastic though, they are expensive but we got one with Ash and thought it was well worth it. The cheeky bugger!
I have been snacking on chocolate all thru my shift today, no wonder I keep breaking out in pimples all the junk i am eating! My crumbled tooth is starting to ache bit too but its not allowed til closer to my appointment.
Doo dee doo....I'm bored. It's too early to make noise, and I'm still tired. But I've got heartburn, and am awake because I reeeeally wanted my vicks vapour smelly thing and couldn't find it! And then changed Riv's nappy, gave him yogurt...and now I'm awake! Maybe I'll sleep again once Rans is at work.
