Noni - I know what you are saying about being able to live off 150K plus, i was not complaining about it...though of course there are arguments on all sides and the bonus was not introduced as a 'welfare' payment so thats why i am a little disappointed - i can understand fam tax benefits etc (but since this isnt a political forum I wont start getting into all that LOL)... anyway we dont exactly have babies for the bonus so it is a moot pt really...
Arte - exciting about W trying to crawl.. not much sign of that here!!

OMG OMG OMG!! :excited: DH rang and it sounds like
:cheer: We Are Going Home!!!! :cheer:
Though I won't believe it until I see the paper work. Not telling any IRL ppl until we know for sure (later this month) but it's put a big :D on my cranky sleep deprived face!! :hooray:

YAY FOR MARYDEAN!!!!!
That is fantastic! When do you think the move will be? Does that mean he won't be going away for the big trip? Wow, I am so happy for you!
-
I've just had an accident. My car was hit from behind!!! The damage is quite bad and i am still in shocked atm. My hand is still trembling trying to type this. Thank God, William is not in the car. I was on the way to childcare to pick him up.
OMG Marydean, thats fantastic news!!! Am so happy for you
-
Agnes  hope you weren't hurt. Sooooo glad W wasn't in the car at the time!
-
Oh Agnes, big big . Do you have DH at home with you? Are you ok? Make sure if you have *any* stiffness or soreness you go to your GP tmrw, ok? In the meantime take it easy hun. Thank goodness it happened before you picked W up.
Arte - not moving until the end of the year. Still has to do the big trip :( but at least I've got something to look forwards to at the end of it. Also means I've got a few decisions to make about work. Will let the news settle in though before I try to decide.

hey there everyone
big news here asha is in cloth nappies atm lol i bought some (just some big softies bright coloured flats) and i had my first poo and survived lol i love the way they make her bum all cudley and big lol..
pregpan - understand what u mean about baby bonus not being introduced as a welfare payment infact it used to be means tested and be much less money...
agnes - bug hugs to you darlin take it easy wont u!!! glad W wasnt in the car
md - congrats on going home thats awesome news!!
-
Thanks all. Still shaking but DH is on the way home. The guy who hit me said he just lost his job today. I dont know whether i should feel sorry for him or for myself if he cant pay for the damage. I have car insurance but not sure if they pay for it if its someone else's fault. What a day!
-
MD YAY For you!! FAB news!
Agnes - big hug glad you are ok and W was not in the car
Noni - i agree with u it should be means tested, i mean those who REALLY need it should get a lot more than, say, those who earn 149K - if it is meant to be 'welfare' not an incentive payment or 'bonus'. anyway i didnt take any offence to what u said, hope i didnt offend you! (or anyone else)
well N had a really runny poo at FDC this arvo, that coupled with the spew this morning has me worried. no temp. if any of it reoccurs i guess back to dr i go. for now just easing back on foods, v basic only (if he will eat) and bfeeding like mad to keep fluids up. poor little man.

Noni- I am glad you survived the first poo in cloth nappies... Hey how is the house

Pregpan- I wonder if he has picked up a bug from FDC or something or maybe teething. I hope he gets better soon.
Oh I better go Xavier is resisting going to bed so I am off to sort him out.
Sending out Sleeping vibes to all mummys and bubbies
-
agnes- hope you are doing ok you poor thing. how scarey
md- i'm so happy for you. where exactly is home???
-
Adelaide, Gracie.
Pregpan I soo hope Noah's feeling better soon, it does sound like he's picked up a bug, doesn't it.
Noni, WTG with the cloth nappies! Let us know how you get on!
Agnes, your insurance should cover it, they will pursue him for the money if it's his fault and you should never have to hear about it again. That's the whole point of having insurance.
