Okay guys...I'm trying to find some of you on FB but having no luck. Would love to see some more pics of all our Sept bubbies. Add me...? XXXXXX without the space. I'll be back in a few days to delete my last name so better hurry, this is a limited time offer. :p
Sarah has been walking around for the last few days with her tongue permanently out, she looks like a weirdo. Like a snake testing the air.... I keep grabbing it and telling her that she'll lose it but she just sticks her tongue out further. My little freak! ;)
-
Kate I have just added you. Who else dont I have?
Arte you are gorgeous sending MD a package.
Leanne glad your feeling better. Dont be sorry for venting, we all need to from time to time and what better place to do it then here.
MD glad you have had a nice day.
I have had another busy week, it never seems to end. This week hasn't been all happy though, one of my close friends just found out her mum had cancer and another friend just left her husband not good at all. Make me appreciate my life that much more though. Well I think I am off to bed, my gorgeous boy has been sleeping until 7.30 most mornings and I find it odd that I am up before him. Good night.
-
i think i just added you Kate! There was a pic of a cute baby who looked like Sarah. :)
-
Lucky to everyone who can log onto f/b!
Katie, you can add me if you like: andrea blackie :) (anyone else can to)
Thanks Leanne.
-
Ok we have called the airline who have assured us that we are all together. Thank goodness. Thanks for the tip ladies. Was having a major freak out.
Arte - What a sweetie you are sending MD a care package. What a good friend.
Katie - Sorry to hear about your sad week. It does make you appreciate all that you have I agree.
Kate - Thats funny about Sarah poking her tongue out!
Falguni - Sorry to hear about Lu being sick atm. I'm feeling better about it for you after reading what Trillian had to say, I tend to take everything she says seriously, being a mum of four & all lol.
Leanne - Well I say good on you for having a vent, being a mummy of three (especially twins!!!) is a big job, so feel free to vent away as we are more than happy to listen. What is wrong with your toe, ingrown nail?
Pregpan - Ohhh I feel for you in the share house lmao! Someone said to me, you'll go away with the inlaws once and get it outta their system and you'll never do it again!!!
I'll try and find people to add on FB!
I just had a spray tan, I am praying I dont wake up orange LMAO!!!!! I guess anything is better than fluro white!
-
That's great news MM.
I would NEVER go away with my in laws! You are a brave woman. Have a fabbo time. Spray tans these days are pretty good, just don't freak out when you wake up and it's really dark! I did the first time i had one, luckily it washed off to a nice shade. ;)
-
jus a quick one .. never try to fly with three kids on (3) laps all in a row .. the attendants will move one of you .. safety reason for emergancies (not enough masks) .. yet they let me book three seats in a row! hehe

Happy First Birthday Rory

eta=-Andie I added you to my FB
-
-
HAPPY BIRTHDAY RORY Have a wonderful 1st Birthday:happybirthday:
-
happy birthday darling Rory!!!! Wow just thinking what we were all doing, testing, thinking, planning, worrying about, getting excited about this time last year - i am nostalgic, teary and also so thankful to have had you all with me on this amazing journey... even though we dont know each other IRL you have all become such a special part of my life - so thank you! (geez it isnt even N's bday yet - what will I be like on Sunday LOL)
-
HAPPY 1ST BIRTHDAY RORY!!
Renee - you must be so proud of your little fella. I remember looking at pictures you had posted showing off your nursery painting skills...ahhh, memories *singing barbara streisand*
MM - Good news on the airline front. Poo to the travel agency lady tho..send her a full steaming nappy of Maddie castoff! ;) Also, what colour did you end up with...?
And do you guys know what is worse than holidaying with in-laws... living with them!!! No joke, we moved up here and in with them as a TEMPORARY measure until we found a house that suited our requirements. Well that was 2.5 months ago. DH is loving being spoilt by his mummy again and TBH I'm loving not having to tend house as much or cook dinner. I offer and she refuses to let me. I sneak in the occasional clean and cook but otherwise I'm a bit of a lady of leisure. Not all good tho, they seem to forget that we have S in the house so they make noise at all hours and decide to do washing, mow the yard and other noisy tasks when shes sleeping. ARGH!! Not happy with that. They just tell me that she has to get used to the noise...easy to say but hard to do when she was awake at 4.30am again this morning.
Oops shes awake so we're off to check out the Pyschic Expo...
BBL

Hi there girls!!
i have been going through trying to add as many of you to my F/B!!! so if you see a dodgy 'Clare...' in the request thingy it's just me....:)
But onto more important things: HAPPY BIRTHDAY RORY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:happybirthday: hope that you have a great day with loads of paper to rip...;)always the best bit...
Kate: IKWYM about living with the family. we lived with my mum for about 6 months before we moved to fiji. it sounded good at the time as it would allow us to save cash, but...oh man, once you have moved out it is soo different when you move back!! unfortunately mum didnt do ANY cooking! LOL! maybe that was the problem!!
oohh the psychic expo! that sounds awesome! i wanna get my tarot done...watched 'Carnivale' on DVD recently and have been inspired.
PP: if you are anything like me, you'll be a teary mess!! and wanting to do it all over again!
Anyway best be off as this is my work day and i need to try to get something done to feel good about the weekend.
Clare :)
-
MM, hope you have a good flight and a really fun trip!!! Hope you woke up a lovely tanned babe and not looking like a giant carrot lol
Rainy, how have you been? Has the morning sickness cleared up yet? How is L's sleeping? W has been waking up heaps, he has a new front tooth and what looks like molars coming up at the moment. He has also decided that 6am is his new wake up time, so I am feeling a bit zombie at the moment.
Pregpan, I am so nostalgic lately, I just can't believe that this time last year I was holding a brand new bubby. I really want to do it again!
MD, you are very welcome :D We have a traditional NZ slice made from Eskimos if you want to have a try:
Lolly Cake **warning - Does not have the heart foundation tick**
100g butter
1/2 can condensed milk
250g crushed malt biscuits
1 packet of chopped eskimos
dessicated coconut
Melt the butter and condensed milk together, add in malt biscuits and eskimos. Shape into a log and roll in coconut.
Variations: use gingernuts instead of malt biscuits, jelly lollies/choc buttons instead of eskimos, roll into balls instead of a log.
Ozstar, do you do photography?
This morning W climbed out of our bed himself and went into his room to play with his toys, so cute.
-
Happy bithday RORY!! What a sweetheart, I've loved hearing all about his developments over the past year Renee.
Arte - LOL Yes I am a CARROT!!! Its pretty orange, but I scrubbed it a bit just before and its not too bad now. How cute of Will climbing out of his cot. Actually I am glad we arent at that stage yet hehe.
Clare & Kate - Oh no no no, I could never live with my inlaws. Not even my own parents I dont think. Kate how do you find your MIL with S, I know mine would completely take over!
-
Just a quick note, took M to the doc this morn for her last check of her ears. One is clear but the other is still a little red. So we will probably have a bit of a rough descent with her. Have to dose her up on panadol poor love. I was shocked though as the doc said if they hadnt improved she would have advised us to post pone our trip or find someone to look after M. God is that being dramatic, I didnt know it was that bad? WHOOPS.
-
MM LMAO at you being orange. Poor little chook, I am sure she will be fine. Have a great trip, cant wait to see some photos.
Arte yep I am a photographer, well used to be. Have only just started taking photos again and am thinking about going into business.
Clare you will have to pm your FB details so I can add you.
I am desperately waiting for news from my friend to see how her IVF went today. Today has gone sooo quickly and I haven't done anything.
-
Happy birthday :happybirthday: to our Rory!! Hope you have a lovely day! :D
Arte, oh I'm beside myself with excitement at the thought of a traditional lolly cake (have been trying to say that in my best kiwi accent LOL). DD1 will have to be involved in the making, too I think! :)
-
MM: have fun on the trip! man am i green with envy. here in Melbs it is soooo windy and yuck. waahhhh.....
-
Arte- the only eskimos i know wear fur and live in on the ice..... i pressume you kiwi's don't cook them!
is it a flavoured biscuit of sorts?
Leanne- it's not so bad, going to be 23 tomorrow.............woot! Bring on spring. :cheer:
Down at Mum nd Dad's and Lu has pulled about 50 books off the book shelf, that is not such a bad thing, except mum has thousands of books and they are all in alphabetical order! Do you think she'll notice if i just shove em back???? :P
-
Happy Birthday Rory!!! I bet you've had a great day little man!
-
LOL Ange, just shove them back and hope she never notices! Eskimos are a lolly, like a harder marshmellow. It is dangerous to cook and eat real eskimos because we look pretty similar to them during the winter and we wouldn't want any incidents lol
-
Clare - Did you live in Fiji...? Whereabouts and how long? I got married over there 2.5 years ago and wanting to go back next Sept. Love it.
Art - What a good boy W is for going to play by himself when he woke up. So clever
MM - Living with the MIL isn't too bad. She looks after S if I ask but won't change nappies or offer to help. Step FIL is the problem...has all this 'great' advice on how to raise children yet his have had drug problems (using and selling), run ins with cops over everything, banned from pubs and clubs as well as dating men over twice their age. So I don't think hes the best to be offering advice. I just nod my head and b!tch/laugh about it later. Luckily he works 10 on and 4 off so don't have to put up with his cr@p much.
Have an awesome trip and I hope that all goes well with M and her ears. Take lots of piccies.
Ange - I can just imagine crushed eskimo humans being rolled in coconut :p And as for the books just chuck em in and see how long it takes her to realise. ;)
Well the Psychic expo was good, I'm not a strong believer in it but needed to double check with some sort of higher power about my lifes direction. Was told that the move will be successful and will build a great financial base for our future. I am destined to have another child but she can't see past all my emotional cr@p at the moment so it looks like it might be a while off yet. She also mentioned that I might need clinical help to get pregnant...(again) All in all I was pretty happy with the reading. So yeah for me!!
-
I've uploaded some more pics to my gallery here https://www.bellybelly.com.au/forums...ry.php?cat=540 I picked up Erin's and Paige's birth samplers from the framers today, so you can see what I"m talking about now LOL. I'm almost finished Lindsay's and I'm hoping that Alister's wont be too far away in the post - I got it from the US off ebay.
-
Nice work on the samplers Sherie. I tried a cross stitch 15 years, got a big knot in it so cracked a wobbly and chucked it. So don't have any patience for that kind of thing so kudos to you
-
Oh Sherie! he is JUST gorgeous!! he can sooo ride a motorbike with my girl when they are big people!!! LOL!
Kate: oh wow! whereabouts did you get married in Fiji? we lived in Fiji for 2 years from 2003 onwards and try to go back every year. we made loads of friends, and i loved it so much that i took up a PhD to study media stuff there...you can check out some of our piccies of Fiji on Facebook.
I didnt know that you guys needed help getting pg. we had trouble too. were very close to going down the IVF path which was pretty scary when you think your 20s are the most fertile years! (here i was on the pill for yonks not realising that it probably made no difference:rolleyes:).
i think i need a reading done too!
AFM: well i am pretty stoked with finding the bugaboo site. my awesome accessories for the pram arrived and we are sooo kitted out right now. all i need is the cotton on kids shirt that reads: 'pimp my pram' LOL! her pram is now fully loaded with LED lights for our night walks and she has a summer breezy canopy. like Ange said: bring on SPRING!!
-
OMG Clare, did you seriously get lights for your pram? Now I"ve heard everything LMAO. it was 26 degrees here today and just gorgeous. It is supposed to be as hgh as 30 tomorrow before a change comes through with rain. I think L and A would make a cute couple ;)
Kate, LOL at you cracking a nana at the cross stitch. I really enjoy doing them, but I admit I have only just pulled it all out and started doing it again. I had the girls done about 2yrs ago and then started Lindsay's, but put it away until now. I've never gone to a reading before, I'm to skeptical LOL. But then my only experience with them are the dodgy one's that my Mum has been to see
-
oh yes baby! i sure do have lights!! they are sooo cool (in that tacky kind of pimp my style kinda way! LOL!).
Blue LED...
-
Clare we are going to need photos of the pimped up pram, very cool.
-
Clare - OMG that is so funny! How cool definately post a pic of the pram with lights!
Trillian - Love the pics, especially fairy Alister hehe.
Ozstar - I really like the pics you have taken of Logan, well done. Yeah I cant believe I am orange, I knew I shouldnt have done it lol. Oh well its good for a laugh, it stinks too and DP wont come near me.
Falguni - Lmao OH NO I hope your mother doesnt notice!
Ok well I will check in with you ladies once we are back. Wish me luck with M and her ears. She should be asleep on the descent (as it'll be 10.30/11pm) so hopefully she wont wake. Talk soon. I so need this holiday YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!
-
Ooooh very exciting for you H. On descent, just give M her dummy to suck too or even a bottle so the sucking motion helps ease the pressure in her ears if she isn't asleep at the time.
Clare, I have images of your souped up pram bouncing up and down like those low rider cars you see in the movies - you know the ones don't you?
-
Kate, any X stitch I want done I get my (ex) MIL to do it! ROFL. Its her major hobby & its all I know (other than house/yard work) that she does. But she is great at it hey. Draws her own in a pad then puts it to that stuff.
Been organising my list to pack for QLD in Oct & realised its a good thing Kate has her own portacot now .. she doesn't have to borrow one from, was it you or your mum? for us! Ha ha
Well I'm off to bed & then I think I'm going to do a reading of my own, now I'm thinking of it!
Nite all, sleep well. Hope the babes have a good nite too. xxx
-
H I hope you have a great time away and that you don't get stuck with adjoining rooms.
What a glorious day it is today, think I might go and get the groceries done while DH is at work so we can spend the rest of the day enjoying the sunshine. Better catch up on some washing to o I guess.

How is everyone's weekend going?
We went out to the coast & had a play at the park there before having cake & walking through the markets. Boys wore themselves out. (Photos beening upload at present). Now though, I wish I could be having a nap. Haha.
Feed Jack at 5pm last nite & put him down at 6pm, went & got his panadol & he was almost asleep so I didn't bother on the bottle. I think I should have. He didn't have more than an hour & half sleep in any single session hence I had to play yo-yo all nite. Then this morning he drank a cows milk bottle & a stage 3 formula bottle before getting out of bed. Think I will ensure to give him a bottle at night though.
-
Happy Birthday Katie!!! I hope you're enjoying your day precious girl.
-
HAPPY BIRTHDAY KATIE! HOPE YOU AND YOUR MUMMY ARE HAVING A FABULOUS DAY
Clare - We were married on Sonaisali Island then went up to First Landing and our family stayed on Denarau. We had a great time and so can't wait to go back next year. Planning on heading out ot one of the islands out further to experience that area. It wasn't full on trouble getting pregnant but it took us a while and I had to have a HSG amongst other tests before getting knocked up. Apparently, needing clinical help this time as well. I asked her if I needed to refill my pill prescription and thats when she told me that. I think I will anyway just so that I don't have a newborn in Fiji. I might go over pregnant so watch this space in 6-9 months time...:p I love the pram pimp out...post some pics, I brought S a $60 stroller from kmart on thursday night and am keeping an eye out for what can be done to that. I Was thinking of those stoke beady things that normally go on pushbike wheels. KWIM? Love the LED light idea...
Sherie - I'm a bit skeptical as well but thought why not...can't hurt. A lot of general things that could be interpreted to suit anyone but then she did pick up on personality traits amongst other things. I wanted to make sure that I visited some reputable thats why I chose the expo because I figured they wouldn't have shonky pyschics under their banner.
Andie- Good on Kate for buying her own portacot, so handy for so many reasons. Yep, she borrowed mine and then Ayns. And it sounds and looks like you had a great day at the park. S and I just chilled out this morning and then did grocery shopping this arvo. Tomorrow we're doing markets and maybe the beach...
Have a great one ladies...
