Thanks for all the birthday wishes girls, Logan laughs every time I sing Happy Birthday it is so cute. We went out to lunch with my family on Saturday and we are having a little BBQ here this Saturday to celebrate. I just can't believe he is one, I had a little cry this morning (I am such a sook).

Are any bubbas on cows milk yet? I started Logan this week and so far so good, still breastfeeding in the mornings though as I am not quite ready to let go yet.

How much are wheely bugs? I want one!

Rainy and Ange how are the pregnancy's going? I have missed so much lately.

Well I had better go and get a few things done while he is sleeping, we are painting again this afternoon.

Well, finally got S into a doctor and she has a viral infection thingy from teething again, this time with a rash. This has been going off and on for weeks now and it's wearing me out. I think it's those back molars and they must be riding a fantastic rollarcoaster in there. All those ups and downs and loop-de-loops.
I just want them out and my baby back to normal. She's having these huge tantrums when she doesn't get her own way. Kicking her feet and going off at me. Its hilarious to watch but is a bit frustrating all the same. Thank god for MIL who loves to play with her so that I can get a bit of me time.

Olivia had a wonderful birthday on Sunday and thankyou to everyone for you wonderful birthday wishes. I am still exhausted. Xavier had his grommets put in yesterday and is doing great and Olivia had her 1 year old needles today.

I had no idea today would be so emotional (or maybe I am just a sook lol). I had a little cry this morning and then again tonight at the time he was born. I want another one, we are going to wait a little while longer though.

Rainy - Oh no hope you can sort out Lewis' sleep. If it helps M's sleep is way out the window these days. Can you believe I have even had warts come up on my hand (yes gross I know) which the doctor has told me is from being worn out. Ahhh! Hope the little bubba is going well.

Hope Pregpan is relaxing in BALI! Lucky duck.

I cant believe it, Maddie has been sick since the weekend, took her to the doc today. Well she has another chest infection, this is her third this winter!!! Also she has really inflamed ears apparently, no wonder she has been a nightmare sleeper over the past few nights. My poor bubba, she's on antibiotics now though. We are going o/seas next week and a baby with an infection in both ears teamed with being in a plane would be horrible. I am praying that she is all better by then.

Re party food - I am making a number one cake, and just doing normal party finger foods. Might make some things especially for the bubs that will be there. I bought a cupcake tree the other day from house as its DP's job to make cupcakes, as I am like you MD when it comes to cupcakes lol.

Chessa rarely gets sick, i'm so jealous of her as i'm the lucky one in the family who gets sick all the time...

wow cant believe all the bubbies are starting to turn one time sure does fly!!
well if u remember a while back i was telling u all that i 'lost my nerve' and made dp ahem pull out at the last minute lol and i wasnt sure what was gonna happen? well i usually get af between cd 26 and 28.. today is cd 29 lol i have felt like af has been coming for a while now though but everytime i go and check theres nothing.. i keep checking because it really feels like i should have it but i just dont.. i cant remember the last time i was late even by a day... time will tell i spose!!

Just popping in for my cuppa and a sit down LOL Marydean.

I have been insanely busy and is isn't going to stop anytime soon - always the way. Anyway, we're all fine, the lurgy demon has been banished, but I think Erin called him back because today she said she had a headache, so I gave her some panadol and sent her to school - if she does get worse she can always go to sick bay and they can call me, but I think it was just a culmination of yesterday - which was our local Agricultural Show, so we had a full day out on rides and bad food LOL.

Alister had a great time - we put him on a few of the baby rides with the kids and he loved it. We are seriously considering getting him a slippery dip for his birthday too because I was at the park with them on Monday (Lindsay had a birthday party to go to and we were filling in time) and I was putting him on the small slide and holding him as he went down, well it wasn't long before I could put him at the top of the slide and he would push off himself - all I had to do was put him there and then go to the bottom and catch him. Before we left he was climbing up there all by himself! he is just so more advanced than what the other kids were at that age - the girls were active and could climb a bit - but nothing like what Alister does the little monkey. I said to DH the other day that he's going to be the one that will really test us out LOL.

And we've go so many develpments happening with him too - he can now say No and shake his head, he knows who owns what belongings and will take it to them, or he will take stuff to the sink (he can't reach to put it in, but he stands there till I get it and put it in for him) and he walks backwards LOL. When I was ordering party supplies for his party the other day, the site had this tiny little barn with farm animals shape sorter for $10, so I got it for him, intending for it to be for his birthday, but I caved and gave it to him and he loves it and loves putting all the animals in the hole - they all go in the same hole LOL but he loves the concept of putting them in kwim?

Even though I've seen these milestones before with the others, it still isn't any less special you know? But it is so bittersweet because every day he is more and more like a little boy and less like a baby

hayley- oh no, warts you poor love. i feel so worn out as well...and on top of that i also feel really fat. i weighed myself this morning. big mistake so what will happen if maddie's ears don't clear up. can you still go ? i really hope she's feeling better soon and you get some rest.

md- crack baby is all over the place. refused to go to bed last night, even though all i wanted to do was watch 'so you think you can dance' i had to go keep checking on him. then he slept through from 2.30am-9.30am. he's all over the place.

well i just had my doula come over and she seems great. i've booked her in and i'm really excited about it. she's really nice and i think she's going to be a big help.

Sherie- OMG she was really good. Her Dermatitis is all gone too so I am thinking it had something to do with her teeth. I am just really happy she is not like X as he was the worst for getting teeth.

Hope everyone is doing well. Ive been running around like a fruitcake for the past few weeks. Unil last week when I got FIRED! I got to work and as I got out of the car my boss came up to me and told me he doesnt need me anymore because there isnt enough work on! Grrr and after all the stressing out I had gone through to find a baby sitter for Rory. Mum quit her job and took on a night job just so she could have him! So professional, firing someone in the car park! Good thing we werent relying on my pay for the mortgage etc....Okay rant over!

Hayley - Im so sorry to hear about Maddie's ear infection. Im praying that it clears up right away. Was it the holiday to KL thats coming up soon???

Sherie- Whoaa I cant believe how smart Alister is!! What a clever cookie He must learn alot from his big brother and sisters.

noni - Are you hoping you are pg??? How has little Asha been sleeping?

Rory is amazing. Every morning when I walk into his room I get an overwhelming feeling of joy. He is perfect in every way and we are so blessed to be his parents.He is always happy and constantly laughing. He can sing along to the backpack song on dora.. ba pa ba pa! I ask him what the lion says and he replys 'raaaaaahhhhh' He throws kisses and walks along with his push along car.

DH went for an interview yesterday for a 8/6 roster up north. I pray that he gets it, I would see him more than I do now.

Thanx MD! How has H been going at school? Last I read she was going through a bit of a tough time with the girls at school. Boy I know how horrible some girls can be! Hope everything has sorted itself out now and she is happy.

Oh I forgot to mention that the ONLY and I mean ONLYYYY thing Rory will eat is Tuna friggin Morney!! So I have found ways to sneak in corn, zuchinni and other veg but its still so frustrating! Yesterday afternoon I spend the whole day making him a yummy veg dish and he spat it out as soon as I put it in his mouth arghhhhh! I cried. He just wont eat anything else!
