I go to QLD on the 9th & return home the 20th or the 21st depending on how I'm feeling. Have a wedding to attend the 18th but figured I''d go up a week early & catch up with some friends, most whom I haven't seen since before we moved here in Jan.
The good thing bout going to QLD is that I always get to stop into Ballina Coffee Club & see my mum & step dad.

Never had the pooing in the bath, lucky me, touch wood! Have caught Alex standing up to take a wizz recently.

Trill - aww you poor thing with the sick kiddlywinks. I hope they get better soon. I thought just S being sick is enough so am sending you every get well kiddies vibe that I can find. Even stole some from my 8 month old nephew... He came down with a bad cough as we drove to the airport this morning.

MD - I know, I was confused. It wasn't like the seatbelt didn't let me, she just said that if I have to do the brace position then bubs needs to be back to chest with me. Makes sense but I'd be able to flick her around pretty quickly if needed (touch wood that its never needed) . Sounds like I need Fals hosty next time. Nice catch with the pink eye as well. Pink eye is easier to spell than conjunctivitus

MM - No real holiday. Went down to Bris for Sarahs birthday and had to stay a few days longer than expected but DH had to get home so he drove and I flew a few days after.
Woohoo for Maddi. Such a clever little girl.

Noni - Love the pics but have to ask...where did Asha get that pink pool thingy from? I want something similar for S but have only seen the old school clam shells. And Ashas is much cooler.

Fal - S used to always poo in the bath . It seemed to be the only time she was relaxed enough to do it. She was always grunting and straining and would have trouble getting it out. But I could almost guaruntee that once she was in the bath, she would grunt some more and let loose. Not pretty at all but yep scoopage is definately the way to go. I used the kitty litter scoop...sorry kitty

okay...night all. Sleep well bubbas and mummas

I was on here an hr ago having a little chuckle at the pooing in the bath stories, Maddie has never done that before. Well karma came around and bit me on the bum, she didnt poop in the bath.... but when I got her out of the bath she crawled off nakie and I sat in her room waiting & calling her name. Well I peeked out to see what was taking so long & there's Maddie on the kitchen floor sitting in poo and spreading it all over the tiles. YUCK! Straight back into the bath hehe.

Kate - Brisbane would have been nice for Sarah's bday.

Trillian - Hope you have a good night tonight, & that the kids get better soon.

lol at all the pooing stories - nothing has happened here yet, but I'm sure there will be a first time!!

After 2 very early morning wake ups, K is having a sleepin. But mummy's body won't let her!! DH was in bed, lights out at 8 last night. He is having a lovely time home with her, they popped into childcare for a practice and he said she was quite comfy wandering off to play with the toys.

Trill - sending numerous get well vibes to you!!

PP, Rainy and Falguni - Did you all have a better night last night?

K is only saying mum and dad. DH thinks she was trying to say dog yesterday but couldn't manage the g.

Better go and make myself some lunch.

MUCH better thanks Cally. 6.30 until 6.30 without a peep. Feel human again.

Trill- Hope things are looking up around your place.....

MM- That's what you get for laughing at poo stories! My turn to chuckle. Hope she didn't eat any.

LOLing at all the poo stories. Just you ladies wait until it's TT time! hehehe

Glad you got a decent sleep A. E didn't get up all night but I woke up exhausted this morning. Gotta drag myself out the door to take DD1 to see the Chihuahua movie . CHI HUA HUA!

Cally glad to hear K is at ease at childcare, hope it all goes well!

E says Dad and Daddeeee (esp upon seeing any man), she says "Ah" when giving cuddles, DoH for dog, Duh for duck, H'Nah for DD1 and has said clear as a bell Mummeee but doesn't use it very much. I'll scratch around for the list - being words they recognise at this stage rather than spoken words...

Rainy, ah sorry to hear your DP is being a DH again. I wish i could crawl inside his skull and give his brain a good slap or two. Does he not know how upset he's making you?? (doesn't he know that even if it's because of your pg hormones it's Still His Fault!!! LOL) Hope things smoothe over there soon.

Trill, hope the kids are better today, I bet you're loving your vax right now . Hope you got a decent sleep and are well yourself.

    morning everyone
well we had a better night, though not as good as some of you LOL! he needed afew settles earlier in the night but then slept from 11 to 6 - happy with that! I think he is the naughtiest non sleeper in here sometimes! I am also listening to all your walkinh stories with wonder - he is still mastering crawling! he is basically commando crawling still - i dont think he is ever going to get his tummy off the ground and crawl 'properly' - he is gettinga lot faster and more 'adventurous' though so he is progressing! he does talk a lot and do other things so i am guessing he just has been focussing on different things... well i hope so anyway!
Rainy - hope you also had a better night. Ange - glad you did. howis the MS?
The poo stories are hilarious - none in the bath here yet... buti ams ure it will happen
Kate - i always usedto feed N on the plane... no probs there and no hosty has told me they have to sit that way all the time, just to be able to get them intothatpossie for brace if youneed it. hmmm... glad the flight went well anyway. N also loves the turbulence!
Cally - how are you adjusting to life as a working mum?
better go, heaps todo at work today

MM - Karmas a b!tch. I think I prefer the bath at least its easier to clean up. I hope it wasn't too feral.

MD - I love you calling it CHI HUA HUA. I had to call the bet for my MIL the other week and told the receptionist that I had a CHI HUA HUA that needs an appointment. Didn't even really think about it when i said it...its just what I call her dogs now. And of course the movie promos don't help. Anyway, the receptionist cracked up laughing and booked the little mutt in.

PP - Yeah, I'd say N is just wanting to be a talker first. S only has mumma and dadda as decipherable words at the moment. At least when they are still fairly immobile then you know where they are when you put them down ;p

I'm off camping this weekend. As 5 star as I can get at this place tho. Its an aircon cabin with fridge, toaster, kettle, bbq and beds!! Dh is going riding so I told him that I needed comfort while he was out having fun. Got a great friend coming as well whos in the same boat. Her DP is a rider and shes got a nearly 2 year old so we'll hang out while they go and most probably hurt themselves. Should be fun tho..wish me luck
