Happy Birthday Max!!
Congratulations Joels' Girl, thanks for dropping in and keeping us up to date.
Noni - well done on asha walking.
MD - We got our maxirider at pramwarehouse (google it). Even with postage it was more than $30 less than in the stores and arrived within the week.
All is good here.
-
hi everyone
happy bday max! hope i didnt miss anyone else.
AND BIG CONGRATS TO JG!!! yay!! now stay here and chat to us!
Rainy - i am from melb, we are not here permanently so we will def end up back in melb.. it just depends when. will be either early next yr or ina few yrs (if we go oseas). i was there til 2003 when we moved to uk and then when we came back to aus we came here - prob for 2 yrs. i want to move back to melb!! Margaret river sounds so nice - did i readthat right, are you googling places to elope?????!!!!!
ok having major busy day so better go, will try to come on later.
all well here!
-
oohh PP! if you move here i am soo not moving to the gong LOL!!
G: yeah?!! what PP said....are you guys thinking of getting hitched??????????? and yeah those spots look really lovely.
-
Rainy - You've been reading my mind, I've been googling margaret river & dunsborough this morning. We've also considered Broome & Palm Cove (Nth QLD) but they are so expensive and really for that money I'd wanna be going o/seas on holiday!! How exciting, we'll both be married women next yr! I am so close now to just having a beach wedding with a bbq afterwards lol.
-
Hayley - yep I looked into Aust weddings on islands etc and found that they were the same price or dearer then heading overseas. We just did the beach wedding in Fiji followed by ****tails at sunset and then a family dinner in the resort restaurant. Loved it.
Falguni - When DH gets sick its like armageddon. Have you heard of the man flu? Its just a normal cold but for boys its sooo much worse. Well the way Rory was going on about it you'd think he had pneumonia.
I'm on the not-really-trying but not-really-trying-not-to boat. For tha last 8 months af has arrived on the 11st without fail, well guess what... nothing so far. I had some slight discolouration (sorry for TMI) at one point but that was it. Did the whole POAS thing at 1 week overdue and BFN and then another on Friday just gone and another BFN. So don't think I am but not 100% certain. I had a bit of breakthru bleeding when pg when S so  just dunno. If we are then great but if not then thats sort of cool too. I did feel the disappointment when I saw the BFN as well as a small sense of relief. Gonna go to the doctors soon anyway so might ask for a blood test if still no AF. Next period is due in a few days so we'll see.
Anyway, best be off. Hi to everyone I missed and will try to BBL to catch up.
-
Thanks ladies for all the congrats. And yes Hamish is adorable, he really was the show stopper on the day.
To madsmum and noni - have fun planning your upcoming weddings, at least your little ones will be able to WALK down the aisle. I was hoping and praying but it didn't happen for us.
Rain - Yes we will be finding out the sex (scan on 29/10) ? What about you ? We don't have a preference either way. It's strange that with H I knew instinctively that he was a boy (we found out at 20wks) but this time I've got no idea !
Sherie - And just where do you find the time to search 'other' forums ?? If I remember correctly your one busy lady. It's nice to see you again dear.
I need to arrange H's 12 month needles for next week. Our dr is about 45 mins away so it's a bit of a pain. We saw his eye dr on Monday and I had been waiting to get the all clear about 'no more surgery' before I got his needles. So 3 big ones coming up !! Did your bubbas cope ok with theirs ??
H has eight 'huge' teeth but its been quiet on the teething front for months now. I've probably just jinxed myself now.
H isn't walking but trying to stand unaided. He has managed to stand for about 20 - 30 secs before plopping on his bottom. I know I'll regret it but I can't wait for him to walk.
Im gonna do my very best to keep up with you ladies for as long as I can.
Hope you al had a lovely day. Think I'll have an early night tonight. Joel is on nightshift so I have the bed to myself - yippi !
-
JG we're all pretty busy lately so I think most just read back a few posts and jump in when we can!! Nice to have you back in here!
Kate - well very exciting news on the not-trying front! :)
Ok better go, I'm supposed to be finding cinema sessions for tmrw when Miss E is going to care and DD1 and I are having big girls' time!
-
hey girls just a quickie from me for some advice...
heard on the news that a plane crashed in nepal with 2 people from victoria. mates of mine left last week to begin a big mountaineering trip there and i am kinda freaking out...how do we go about finding out about who was on the plane???
sorry for the selfish post...but when i need answers i come to you gals!
-
Happy Birthday MAX
MD how lovely having big girls time, what are you going to go and see?
Kate I am the same as you with the not trying thing.
JG L was fine with his needles, I was expecting more tears.
H & Rainy how exciting planning your weddings.
I am sorry to everyone I missed, I have had family up tonight and am buggered. I will try and catch up more tomorrow.
ETA Clare I have no idea who you would call but I am praying it isn't your friends. Do you have the number of any of your friends family or anyone close to them who may have been in contact with them?
-
Claire, I just read that story online, gosh I really hope it isnt your friends. How about speaking to their parents, maybe they know more? Then again that might freak them out a bit. Other than that I really am not sure, sorry to be so hopeless! I'm sure your friends are fine & its not them
-
Here Clare:
Any Australians concerned about the safety of next-of-kin who may have been travelling to Nepal at the time of the crash are advised to contact the department's 24-hour consular emergency centre on +61 2 6261 3305.
Just got that from the article on news.com
-
Oh Clare I do so hope your friends are ok. Dept of Foreign Affairs will have a phone line (oh just saw MM's post, that'll be the one). Big hugs and I'll be thinking of you until we hear everything is (hopefully) ok.
-
Clare - You must be sick with worry:hug: I hope you find them safe and well .
JG - Hannah did quite well with her needles. One of them must have hurt quite a bit ( not sure which one) because she really let out a yelp with that one.
MD - that sounds like a lovely thing to be doing together. Are you going to see Wall E (is that what it's called???)
-
JaZaH, um, we sort of saw Wall-E in the um, home cinema . H loved it but drove me mad trying to imitate all the robotic talking noises for days afterwards...no we are going to see Mamma Mia, which she'll love as we of course are big ABBA fans in this house. BTW I shed a tear during Find My Family and thought you'd probably be watching too LOL!
Trill, very impressed with your calm dealing with the whole laundry machine on the trailer thing. Did you get it inside after all that? Thanks for the canvases tip, I think I've got a couple stashed in my craft cupboard. The snails are coming along nicely and even to H's great delight, eating the food she has put in there for them!
Noni, how is your wedding planning going, do you have an idea of what you'll be doing yet?
JG sounds like H is doing really well with teeth. E only had two up until 3 weeks ago! Now she's working on another 2. Glad his sight is coming along.
Ok well we've had one of those can't-go-back milestones. E has discovered that the food on mummy's plate is often more interesting than the food on her plate and now has a hissy if I'm eating something. She *must* have some, no matter how inappropriate it might be. Also, the days are gone when I can eat my toast while spooning Weetbix into her. This also extends to any packets or food containers she might happen to see on the kitchen bench while she's in the highchair and even my cup of tea (!)*sigh*
-
Clare- Hope you got onto your friends and tht they are ok
MD- Lu is becoming exactly the same. She refuses to let me feed her weetbix or yoghurt anymore, SHE has to do it. The only problem is she has problems getting any on the spoon, so meal times are taking ALOT longer atm and are messier than before, who would have though that was possible?! lol Enough to drive a mother nuts.
-
Hey guys!
Thanks for the replies! the great great news is that it's not them! i had a pretty sleepless night but this morning the names were released and it wasn't them. scary though as they are also a couple doing the exact same thing in nepal.
-
Oh Clare hun  I'm so glad that your friends are safe. I bet their family were very worried about it too.
Hi Ange!
MD, I did get the washing machine inside (which was easier than what I thought LOL - we do have a trolley thing so that helped a lot) and I have caught up on all the backload nearly. DH has been sick with man flu :rolleye: so I have a heap of linen to wash today too. Luckily Alister doesn't worry about what I'm eating and I've sort of always fed him bits off my plate, but the kids feed him all sorts of things - like chips and lollies of all blooming things and of course he loves them, but lucky for me I don't let them eat that stuff all that often anyway. But his one treat is a TeeVee snack malt stick. He gets so excited when he sees the box go in the shopping trolley LOL.
LOL Cindy. I don't have a lot of time but TBH I sometimes check out other sites if we mods are trying to bust a 'troll' (sadly yes, we have to do that at times - have even spoke to mods on other sites about it) and find if they've been posting on other sites kwim? It's so great to hear all about you guys and where Hamish is up to :) When I was pg I loved DH being on nightshift so I could sleep exactly how I wanted to. I decided not to continue with vaccinations for Alister, so I can't help you with that one, but my older three all coped pretty well with them, but they did all break out in a rash a few days later from the MMR - but it's nothing to worry about if he does.
Ooooh Kate! You'll have to keep us up to speed on what's happening in that department.
H, I was going to say earlier to you with all the talk of eloping, that you should really do what YOU want to do - it that means the whole shebang (white dress and church etc) or just running off into the sunset ;) then that's what you should do. When we got married, we did the traditional thing, big dress and church and had about 80 people there and it was great, I loved it and we had a gorgeous day and everything was perfect. But after it was all over and DH and I left the reception, I felt like it was an anti-climax yk? Like I had spent the past 12mths organising something which was primarily for the benefit of everyone else and it was all over in a few hours. So I don't regret how we did it, but I wished it had sort of been more for us kwim?
-
Good morning everyone
Clare - i am so glad that your friends are safe and well. It's sad that someone will be feeling devastated today though :(
Trill - that's so funny about A liking TV snacks. I gave Hannah a home-made chocolate chip cooking yesterday, and when she got it she gave a cheeky little giggle. it was so cute.
Md - OOh that sounds like a wonderful day. I hope you dance around the lounge room to Abba first, to get you in the mood ;)
I am finding Hannah exhausting at the moment. She loves to do everything she's not meant to.lol. There is no more sitting down and watching her play quietly. it's go, go, go with me saying 'No, No, no'.. lo.
Oz - did i read on FB that you are looking at photos of L today?
-
Lee- Good luck with the Sydney trip, sounds like you are in for a good weekend. You'll have to give the kids extra hugs before you go and after you get back to make up for the ones you missed. ;) I hope you have a blast darl!
JG - Congrats on your big news x2. I have to book S in for her needles soon as well and I'm hesitant. I might make DH take her in as I can still picture the look on her face from the previous ones. Breaks my heart to see that sudden shock on her face and then the tears come. Shes still got her cough and a runny nose at the moment so will hold out a bit longer.
MD - Have fun on your big girl day. I'm sure H will love the time with you to herself. S cracks it if she sees me drink out of 'our' pump water bottle. And God help me if she sees me sneaking maccas fries in the car.
Fal - S makes a nice mess when she eats. She's becoming little miss independant and me being as pedantic as I am makes dinner time a bit like WW3. She threw a hissy fit when she saw me drinking a glass of milk this morning so I gave her some. I offered some more to her and she hit it away so the kitchen and the two of us were drenched in milk splatters. :wall: I so hate cleaning up her messes, I think I might start feeding her ouside then I could just hose her down... ;)
Clare - Thank goodness they weren't your friends, it would have made for a long night of waiting for you. Very sad though as it was their first real holiday together apparently.
Sherie - S loves those malt sticks as well, she sucks the chocolate off then crunches down on the biscuit. BTW...whats a troll exactly?
Sarah now has 9 teeth and the bumps of 2 more showing. hence the reason shes been a toad lately me thinks...
I've got a lunch date with a self proclaimed breastfeeding nazi today. I met her at swimming. Her 13month old daughter was patting her boobs as we were changing the kids and she said 'yes, I'll feed you soon' and I said 'S does the same thing' and she nearly jumped out of her skin with excitement. She was so happy to find someone else who bf their older baby. Having lunch at her place today. Its good finding friends up here, taking me a while but am getting there.
S is awake so better get her before she trashed her cot...
-
That's great Kate that you've met a new friend who's at the same place as you kwim? I hope it works out well and you keep the friendship going. LOL at Sarah loving the TV snacks too. Alister will put the whole thing in his mouth and not even make a mess he loves them that much. A troll is someone who isn't genuine and basically tries to suck you in with their story, which is usually very fanciful and hard to believe kwim? Like the ones we get from time to time who had 8lb triplets 2wks overdue or people faking pgs and even their entire lives - a while ago now we were finally able to ban a member who was I suppose a long term member, had been on here for a few years but her entire 'life' was a fabrication and it just took ages to catch her out even though we knew she was lying.
Oh Jaz, I hear you! Alister is into everything - his tupperware cupboard is the fave because it's the only one without a child latch. And I am totally over washing things that are only dirty because he's had them out and slobbered all over them. And the Laundry is his other fave place too (well so is the toilet, but his opportunity to get in there is limited LOL) and last night he followed me in and when I went to go, he's walking around touching all the stuff he's not meant to - like the buckets (he gets them all and leaves them all over the floor) and all the soft drink cans - and saying uh-uh and grinning at me because when he touches something he's not meant to I always say 'uh-uh'. Cheeky little devil!
Oh and being outside is his big thing ATM too. and the latch on our back door is busted so there is nothing keeping it properly latched so if the older kids leave the wooden door open (which they almost ALWAYS do) he is out like a flash and he just bolts as fast as his little legs will take him, and then when I catch him and take him inside the tantrum starts then and I get the whole show of squealing (now that's a real joy  ), throwing himself down and then crying. He'll send me grey that kid.
-
Clare - great that it wasn't your friends.
K is starting to become more difficult with meals. She wants what we are having (bring on those molars so she can chew more!) or wants to feed herself which she is really bad at. Tonight we are having something different so I might feed her early and have mine while she has her fruit (DH is at cricket training so we're just having leftovers). We have to hide her fruit too, if she sees that there is no way she will eat the rest of her dinner.
Trill - K loves to escape out the back door too. She pushes on the screen and I swear she is going to pop right through one day!
Kate - glad you are meeting some new people.
MD - hope you are enjoying the movie.
-
Sherie: ha ha about A and the tanty! L does the same when we deny her outside access! or, really deny her anything...she has also developed this 'fake' grumpy look. you know she is bunging it on, but it looks soo cute! i LOVE it!
L also says 'uh uh', but to us when we do something SHE doesnt like! OMG, we are in for fun teenage times!
ohh i always wondered what trolls were! i heard ppl talking about it, but always felt too silly to ask! LOL
we also have the food off the plate stealer here. it became chronic cause she can eat us both under the table so we would be left with nada. so in the end we had to enforce the food on her plate is better rule! it was pretty easy really, just so long as she can get her fingers into it, she's happy and occupied to eat from her plate.
AFM: i feel really bad for being relieved that they weren't my friends. the similarities between the two are really spooky. this is also their first 'couple' holiday. they are hardcore mountaineers and have been planning this trip for months and months.
L is back at kindy. she was a bit self concious today and wanted to keep hugging me for awhile til she got her bearings. then off she crawled to steal some toy from another bub so all is good.
we are having big discussions about the vacc thing too. i have been searching the vacc threads on here, but i still feel really guilty about not wanting to give her the MMR one. i just wish i could hold out long enough for the court case in the US to go through...oh well, will keep reading no doubt...
-
what is the mmr court case? i am also just thinking about the vaccs as most of you know i have always been wary of them and then we did have some minor probs at the 2 mnth ones... and now here i am again trying to decide what to do re the rest...
Clare - glad it wasnt your friends. dont feel bad, it isnt like you WANTED someone else to go thru it and it is natural to feel how you do.
Sherie - i cant believe the trolls... i feel so yuk thinking about someone faking it on here, though must admit there are afew ppl i have wondered about over the time i have been a member...
N is also really into the self feeding and wants what we are having... also if fruit is around FORGET anything else!!! ha says na na na na na na na all the time - i think it came from banana but is now ANY food!
had better go - just felt bad i hadnt been on to say hello - so hello everyone!
-
Hi everyone, just jumping on because I've been thinking about Clare all day and wondering about your friends, glad to hear they are safe. So sad for the other people's family's though. I'm reminded to thank my blessings right now!
Well I've been having a not fun time setting up my new lappy. Yep finally got it out of the box, don't seem to be able to set up the internet connection so I'll save that until tmrw, lest I sit here on *yet another* 45 min wait in a call queue (BLERGH)! Glad to say the call centre I worked in used to pick up 80 percent of calls in under 45 SECs - don't know how this mob get away with it frankly. Anyway it's driving me crazy cos i want to use the new lappy for my job app but it's looking like I"ve got to stick with old faithful unless I want to frig around for another couple of hours. *Sigh* I wish it was as easy as connecting the taps and getting the washing backlog done Trill!! LOL
That's pretty freaky about the trolling, you know it's pretty obvious when there's only a few posts but to maintain the facade for weeks months years??? That's one unhealthy person in my mind. It reminds me of the woman on Oprah who frequented adoption boards making out she was pregnant and seeking a family who was keen to adopt but apparently she was never pregnant at all. She did it about 8 times before authorities caught up with her. It was the care and attention she got out of it that motivated her, apparently. Totally bizarre!
Oh I'm loving all the tanty stories and pleased to hear I'm not the only one saying No no no all day long! Her latest trick is to climb on and in and out of all manner of unsafe things and she's learnt to shut her eyes and reach her fingers over the edge of any table or surface just in case her fingers connect with something interesting to play with! Needless to say the baby proofing's going to need to rise another foot or so around the house LOL.
-
Hi :hide: remember me??? You lovely ladies welcomed me with open arms and then I left and came back and then computer died work got crazy and now I am back again!! Sorry you all must thing I am nutty  I am not promise :p anyways looking forward to getting to know you all (again) and bring on the tantrums!!!
-
MD- i too am pleased to hear that tantrums are the norm. It seems Lu is the only one in my mothers group to be having them!
Kate- i thought of that. Nude outside on the grass, finished off with a hose. Do you think it's legal??? When we were travelling around OZ we were staying at a cool place called booroolola up in the gulf so it was pretty warm. We met a lovely family with two young kids. They were TT the youngest and during dinner he went and hid and did a poo in his jocks. So dad marched him over to the camp site, dropped his duds and hosed him off. It was pretty funny, lucky the weather was hot!
Who on earth has the time to be a Troll? And why would you bother? I didn't even know such things existed. Some people must have sad lives. I'm a bit of a mushroom, wouldn't really know a troll if i came across one i don't think. Unless thoses dodgy posters linking to their own sites count?!
As for Vax, i too am doing alot of reading. I have found 'the vaccine book' by Dr Robert Sears really interesting. On his website there is new information about a new MMR study if anyone is interested...... a search engine will lead you to thevaccinebook website. ;)
Painted Lu's feet and hands and did prints today. Worked out much better than i expected. I am not very artistic!
I'm ravenous, better go eat!
-
Chepie - glad you're back hun! I did wonder where you'd fallen off to! :)
On the vacc thing, my main concern with the MMR is direct injection of egg-white protein into E's system - I've been gradually increasing her intake of egg and will wait another couple of weeks (until DH is home hehe) but apart from that I'm happy (after reading) that the substances associated with long term effects are not used in the vacc we have here and haven't been for a long time. I had a long chat with the MACH nurse about it when I first got E vacc'd and she showed me the labels and I checked that none of the suspect ingredients were there. I still maintain that the reason we have the luxury to make decisions not to vacc is because most parents in Oz do. There was the beginnings of a measles epidemic in Oz about 6-7 years ago, they had to vacc a whole lot of teenagers in a hurry who had missed out when the schedule was changed in order to stave it off.
ETA - but wanted to add that I respect the decision of any well researched parent who decides not to.
-
MD- When did E start on egg? Is it a new thing for her?
-
md - I know what you mean about their little hands being able to reach higher now. They sure do keep us on our toes hey? I figure i don't need to exercise at the moment, because i get a daily workout looking after Hannah. My doc was saying that if Hannah hadn't had eggs by the time she had her vacc, they would need to give her the vacc in the hospital, just in case she had an allergic reaction.
How was the movie today?
Ange - way to go on the foot/ hand prints. Are you going to give them to someone as a gift?
Chepie - Hiya. (even if you were nutty we'd still welcome you with open arms:D )
For you foxtel watchers - have any of you seen the uk show, Larkrise to Candleford? (it's got the lady from the Vicar of Dibley )
-
Hello everyone !!!!!!!
Just popping in to say hello :) Hope your all doing well
xoxox Renee
-
Hi Renee I was wondering where you got to. How are you and Rory???
I cant believe how busy it has been in here today.
-
I don't know how trolls can keep their stories straight. I have a hard time remembering what I ate for lunch  let alone keeping track of any fabricated stories. They must be pretty desperate to do this, it's just sad that they suck so many people in and betray their trust.
Lunch was great today...these girls were nutters (was it you Chepie?). So easy going and heaps of fun. Nothing compares to you girls but great to find people IRL as well who are so supportive.
Sherie- Sarah has found the water cooler thing and has figured out the taps on it. I have had to tell her off so often that it's doing my head in. Now she'll reach up to it, look around to me to see if I'm watching and then either go for it if my back is turned or pretend to be innocent if I am watching. Such a clever little rat. I swear she even blew me a kiss the other day when I roused on her for playing with it. Cheeky!
Cass - Yep, well I'm the silly one who asked.... Had a vague idea but wasn't 100% so thanks Sherie. Glad I could help to enlighten others.
MD - Good luck with setting the lappie up. They are never straight forward are they. Why can't they just make all of them so that you just plug the bugger in and go for it. Instead of just fart-assing around...we are not all 10 year old geniuses that can program NASAs satellites in under 10 secs. Or even a DVD player... :wall: I think I'm pretty techo savvy but these young kids these days... S has been doing that reaching up thing as well...driving me bonkers. Everything needs to be either raised or pushed back. She has even learnt to pull on the tablecloths to get to things. Argh!!!
Chepie - Hi, welcome back...don't think we met. I went AWOL for a while until semi recently so don't feel bad. Life can sometimes just over run us. Jump on whenever...and think of us as squirrels. We like nutters...
As for the vaccs, S has had egg in mixes etc but not by itself. Should I be testing her first on scrambled eggs etc first just to make sure? There are no egg allergies in the family that we are aware of and very very few allergies of any sort as well. S is still not well so won't stress about it until shes better but would help to know. I don't eat eggs so find that I don't cook them for her either.
Off to bed...buggered today. Night all
-
Ange, we didn't start egg yolk until about 10.5 months, then whole eggs a little bit later but only in small quantities in mixed things. So I've just been increasing the amount and gave her a whole scrambled egg two days ago. I'd been umming and ahing because she's got a rash over her chin that seems to flare up sometimes after food but there's no clear pattern and I really think it's dribble-related. It's just flared again but she's got two more toofies erupting so that explains it really.
Kate, yes i'd be trying her on a larger amount to check for a reaction before taking her along for the MMRs. You'd expect that if she was sensitive you might have had an inkling by now but I think it's better to be safe than sorry.
-
MD- i have given Lu pikelets with an egg in the batter, and she has eaten a few. I would pressume this is enough to know if she had an kind of allergic reaction. The volume of the injection is only around 0.2ml and according the research i can find there are only 'traces' of chick egg protein. So i would think that as long as they have had egg in something with no reaction, then they are unlikely to have a reaction to the injection. But, as you say, better to be safe than sorry, just trying to help put your mind at ease! ;)
-
sorry for the selfish post but I am feeling a little sad today, Logan has decided he doesnt want any more BF. We have gone through so much to get to 13 months so I am very proud that we made it this far. He just isn't interested any more and I wont force him. I guess the positive is that I can have my body back to myself for a little while before we start TTC.
-
katie- you've done so so well to go to 13 months- what a great start to life you've given your little man
-
Katie - well done on getting to 13 months, that's a great effort.
Chepie - welcome back.
Kate - K is the same with knowing she's not supposed to touch things and checking if I am looking at her. It is so hard to keep a serious face when she has that cheeky little grin and her hand reaching out.
Renee - what have you been up to?
We've done the MMR - I knew the problems in the US weren't here so we went with it. DH is very pro vaccination. The only problem we had was she had a temp 8 days after that didn't want to go down.
Well K is having her last day with DH today. Then she is off to child care on Monday. Unfortunately we don't have a nice family day before she starts - DH has cricket tomorrow arvo and all day Sunday (1.5 hours drive away). Last week he drove for 2 hours to find it had been cancelled as he left home - and no-one bothered to ring and tell him. I've put my foot down and said no more rep games after Sunday (and that was when I thought Sunday's game was only 30min away and we could go see some - and the dolphins that have moved into the lake next door).
I spent last night labelling more clothes and containers for her. Fingers crossed we don't have too many more cold spells because I've hardly put labels on the winter stuff.
Hope everyone has a lovely weekend. Fingers crossed the weather is nice and we can spend some lovely outside time.

Katie - It's a sad day when they wean themselves isn't it. Great big hugs to you. Hannah weaned herself just before her 1st birthday. I do miss that close contact, but i can still have a snuggle while giving her a bottle.
Cally- How annoying that they didn't call him!! I bet he's had a wonderful holiday with her, and will be sad to go back to work :(
I'm having a love/hate relationship with the rain at the moment . It absolutely bucketed down this morning when i had to take the girls to school. Hannah was the only one who remained dry. Looks like i'll be in for more rain at pick up time too. Oh well. It will be nice to come home and get toasty warm and have a hot chocolate.
