Rainy, what was your other news? Spill already!!!!
MD, I hope you had/have a great day at the coast. I was going to reply in your other thread re SAHM burnout but I never can think of the right words to get across what I want to. But I often do feel the same, that there is more to life than keeping everyone fed and clean.
Clare, lol, hope your white dress doesn't get rained on. My aunt in law wore white pants when we went to Dreamworld - bad look after the water rides lmao
Andie, sounds like things are smoothing out a bit for you now
Pregpan, well done for N with a two syllable word! W sort of says 'got it' when he picks up something but it is only clear enough for DH and I to understand so I'm not counting it yet. Same with Balloon, we know what he means but no one else would. Also yay for him pulling himself up.
Nella, welcome to our group. I was living in Brisbane (Camira) for 3.5 years but have just moved back to NZ so William can grow up the kiwi way (free of snakes and freakin' huge spiders lol). I am not missing the Queensland summer.
Kate, W has just come out the other side of the back arching tanties whenever he had to go in the carseat/pram/highchair. It lasted about 6-8 weeks I think, then all of a sudden one day he just stopped!
The newest word around here is ut-oh. He says it every time something falls (or is thrown). Very cute. I see him standing on the deck with something in his hand saying 'ut-oh' a few times and then he throws it off lol. He woke the other night and I found him sitting in bed saying ut-oh like he had accidently fallen awake.
DH made a sandpit over the weekend and it is a fantastic hit.
