hello everyone, um i read the old thread but can't remember much...i'm blaming preggo brain...

md- coast sounds lovely. bath and wine....ahhhhh, i remember those days...

mm- well done on wedding dress. can't wait to see it...

um......i'm totally blank on everything else.......
melb girls- i went to the new doncaster shoppingtown today. it was quite good- they have sort of divided parts of it into different sections. eg. all the kids shops are next to each other- like pumpkin patch, cotton on kids, rhubarb, kids central etc. are all next door to each other which is pretty cool. i'm absolutely exhausted though. too tired to cook dinner tonight so we're having takeaway. now i remember why i love internet shopping so much...

ange- i bought a new pair of maternity bathers for swimming from big w in a size 14 - much more appropriate than those size 10s i've been attempting to squeeze into LOL...they're really cute actually...

    MM & Katie, thanks

Ive eaten two blocks of chocolate in 24hours, I'm ready to cry & go 4 a long walk. But I can't cause if he boys need something then no one wld be here,
I know the boys are going thro a rough time with this, I just didn't think they would play on it & be totally uncontrolable, & I don't let them get away with things just cos they have a rash & blisters (Alex not eating certain foods is one thing as he has the blisters in his mouth).
Jack is in his cot screaming his head off cos he just doesn't want to go down, he's had 350ml of formula already & panadol.
Alex is having his first nite in a single bed & I've have had trouble getting him to lay down.
You know when a kid screams for no good reason, I can't deal with that. If they cry for a reason I'm okay with that, I can deal with it.
Right now I feel so wound up all I want to do is break down & cry, but I can't do that cos then I'm not functionable, so then I become more high strung.
I;m worried I'm going to ruin the boys lives, but I'm selfish & won't give them up cos they are my life & when things are good, we are all settled. But right now, I'm thinking I shld give them up.

I'm sorry, I just don't know where else to turn atm

    Oh Andie
Big hugs, it sounds like you are having areally tough time atm. I must admit I havent been really catching up on all the threads, I am so busy atm so forgive me if I am saying the wrong thing or missing something here. I just want to rush out and give you a hug and a break... if only I could. I think that you live with someone else? can they offer you some help, even an hour or so out and about by yourself? it sounds like you are a really good mum so dont go beating yourself up about it all, but perhaps you could do with someone to talk to? or perhaps the support groups here on BB even? I am sure you can get through all of this, but it does sound like you need to really talk it all out and help yourself with it all a bit. IT is udnerstandable, I dont know how you cope with 2 boys so young all in your own, my hat is off to you. We are all here if you want to chat.

Arte - i love the sound of will, he is soooooo gorgeous! noah is also making animal sounds now and we have his first 'proper' word that isnt 2 similar syllables or one sylable. guess what it is?? bonjour!!! i have no idea why, he has 1 toy that says it and now he does. now i just need him to wave when he does it LOL! he is chatting heaps now - i love it!!
i hear yu and clare on the eating - N eats SO much. it is madness.
he has started to stand up now (pull himself up) and is becoming a real explorer. so delicious!

well we are not in melb.. we are still going tomorrow... but poor N became sick on thu... wheezed all night and awful cough so i couldnt take him. he had a cold all week but then it seemed to develop more... anyway went to dr and he is ok and a lot better n ow so we are going tomorrow. i did get out of a weekend away with the ILs (ha ha - evil Pregpan!!) but also missed derby .. will still get to the wedding though!!

MD - when are you going away? sounds gorgeous! i am glad you are enjoying having DH back and having a good break.. i am in awe how well you have handled it all/ dh must be really happy to be home with his 3 loveky ladies too.

sorry all sieve brain (and i am not preg) has kicked in./.
    talk soon

Aww Andie, you poor bugger, sounds like you are doing it a bit tough, infact it sounds like you are all doing it tough. It's not nice being sick. Everything seems so much harder when you have sick kids in the house and you are sleep deprived. You are doing an amazing job all on your own, and it will get easier again. The poor boys sound miserable, blisters in your mouth is not nice.
A loving mother doing the best she can is NOT going to ruin her boys lives, and it is not selfish to want to bring your kids up. You clearly love them dearly and are doing a great job, and after this rough patch things will all seem much clearer.
Do you have someone you can talk to on the phone? An understanding ear in time of crisis can be a wonderful thing.
Please don't apologise for letting it all out in here, that's why we are all here, to share the good times and the bad.

    I'll be back later......

Thank you xox for letting me get it out here. You Ladies are AWESOME.

Yes I do live on the same prop as a friend of mine but she has a toddler that they boys aren't allowed near until their rash has at least cleared.
Sometimes I ring my nan but she is away looking after a friend of hers that has recently had an op.

Now that both boys have finally settled I'm going to go thro myself into some cleaning.

    bbl

    thx again

    Morning Ladies.

The cleaning thing was more to let out some frustration. (I'd been trying to mow for a few days but the mower wldn't start then the started raining). & it did help.

Got up to Jack once, I think that was before I fell asleep tho. Then Alex was up at some silly hour, & put him back with Thomas on. Not sure how long he stayed there but I remember him bringing me a muesli bar to open for him. Then at 6.30 when Jack woke up he was w8n for me to make Jack his bottle so he cld take it to him.

Ok now that The Wiggles staring is over I'm going to get some breakfast going here ....

    thanks

    Hi girls!

    Andie: mmm hot chocolate..mmmmmm....

Sherie: yep love the hot mumma AV and that ticker is so so awesome. jeallo bags over here! now my ladybeetle is just not cuttin' it! LOL!
i hope that little paige is feeling better today. poor thing.
send some of those mm biccies this way will ya?!!

MM: i forgot to say woot woo on finding the dress! WTG on getting it at a better price! i was the same: searched at the cheaper places, but in the end when you see the difference in quality there's very little recourse. cant wait for the photos!!!
how was the painted veil? i had also been told it was good...

Kate: LOL! i am pretty much the same too! i put it down to the fact that they have cooler clothing options than us, and who doesnt like toys?!!!

AFM: thanks girls for asking about my Oma. it seems that she had an infection that spread to her kidneys and now is in her blood. so she is pretty crook. they have to take blood every couple of hours so she is feeling quite drained (pardon the pun!!). but hopefully once the fever settles and the antibiotics kick in she can come home. ATM i think she is having a ball as she is drugged up on morphine and telling everyone how GREAT she feels LOL!!

    Hi ladies

Just wanted to pop on quickly and see how Andie's going. I feel like such a whinger in my current premenstrual state cos I know how hard it is Andie when you really are the only person there with the kids and no back up. It's psychologically as well as physically exhausting. Hun I have soooo been there myself, you are doing a wonderful job in your circumstances. You are not being selfish at all to stay where you are, you do what you need to for yourself. Having a strong, empowered mother is the best gift you can give your kids, so standing firm on your decision on where to live is a good thing. It might be worth networking around to find out if there's a teenager or another babysitter who could come and watch the kids for an hour, either for now or for the next time things crop up. I'm so glad to hear you are feeling a bit better, enjoy the rest of your day!

Also glad to hear Clare that your Nanna's in happy land on morphine, it really is wonderful stuff! Hope she has a good strong recovery soon.

Hi Sherie - I was so unsure about the trampoline but if you think it'll be good then I'll let the MIL go for it. I don't think she's gonna change her mind anyway.

I got so caught up doing things last night that I didn't go to bed until 12.30 then took another hour to fall asleep. Not good when Sarah wakes at 5am.

We had a good set in of rain this morning and now it's so muggy...might head to the beach again this arvo. She had a ball yesterday.

    Trill, you sexy thing!!

MD, you are so very entitled to a domestic strike and a coast getaway. Hope your liver is feeling better!

Katie, bummer about the flu, I thought the psychic might have been right lol

Andie, it must be very hard having no support looking after two little boys. Sounds like you do a great job

MM, I did the same with wedding dresses - went to an el cheapo shop and got one that was o.k, then I looked in a nice bridal shop and saw something that I loved so I got that instead. It was a cancelled order so it was about $700 down from about $1800. More than I had planned to spend but really you only get married once (*hopefully*)

Noni, I say go for it re TTC, there will be thunder for everyone

Cindy, congrats on a boy! I am so jealous, I would have loved two little boys so close in age. From memory you had GD last time? Have you been tested this time yet?

Clare, lol at your feral kid!! W acts like a poor starving villager whenever anyone brings out food. I am sure all the other mums think I don't feed him lol.

Rainy, how is L's sleep going? W was down to about 3-4 wakeups but he has just cut a tooth and I can see a huge bump where a molar is coming so we have been back to horrible constant whingy nights. Oh well, 8 teeth down, only 12 to go.

Ange, I agree with you about MD's way with words. I am the sad soul who stares at goobye cards for 10 minutes then thoughtfully adds: Good Luck, from Jodie

Renee, are you there? Have you been on your holiday yet? Was it Fiji?

JaZaH, has your sister popped yet?

I have been reading and not posting the last little while so sorry to anyone I have missed.

William is lots of fun. We hid him under the blanket while making the bed and he thought it was the best thing ever so I have been making huts with towels/sheets and he loooves them.
Ducks (and fridge magnets) can now say Quack, and fire engines say woo oooo wooo ooo (so does red lol).
Rhyming words seem to confuse him a bit - I asked if he wanted to play with blocks and he went and got me a pair of socks, I commented on the pegs he was holding and he started oinking, I told him something in his mouth was yuck-yuck and he started Quacking at me lol
