hi everyone!!! its me the absent belly buddy! been trying to read and keep up but same old same old with me, been v busy/tired/stressed so unable to come on and chat... anyway i am here the rest of the week so willtry to keep up.
MM - dont blame yourself honey - the teething esp with molars can mask so much and you dealt with it when you had an inkling somethin was wrong, she will be fine. my friend's ds also had a perforated ear drum and it healed fine and he is A OK now.. so pls dont worry. i hope you ar efeeling better yourself too.
Clare - how is L? sounded like you had a rough time there for a bit...
MD - what did you deide re the surgery? not long to go now til your move - how exciting!
Noni - i am also really thirsty - not worried about it and it def woudlnt be GD at this stage. when are you getting ashas lip looked at? glad the avon is going so well. woo hoo!
leeanne - ooh you scared me what i am in for with N!!! though he isnt sucha 'physical' boy yet...
rainy - go on, tell me your vision! i would really have a chat with your DF - that would not fly in my house and i think you are a saint for putting up with it. when i was bf in the night DH did every morning get up with N (he is an early riser my little man) and then when we stopped feeding in the night we alternate night wake ups for settling and also alternate the early morning shift. it has always been that way here and i think esp when you have both babies you need to get DF to pull his finger out!!! i also think it has been great for DH and N's relationship... we also share the bed time routine (one does bath the other cuddles to sleep - we swap each night) when we ar both here. it also means either one of us can care for him day or night... talk to DF, L is a bit more grown up now and df needs to help you!! i cant believe you havent had a sleep in since he was born - that is torture! am glad you had a good time at the spa...
trill - dodntrealise you were havng surgery this week - hope it goes well!
nella - did you do a test?
hi to everyone else - sorry want to post this before i lose it!! back later.. xxx
-
Hi Girls,
Ok what I can suggest with having boys in the house is have a very well stocked Medicane/Accident Cabinet and another must is a cold pack frozen at all times or have heaps of ice in the freezer.
JG- Sorry to hear about the extra costs for the house.
Sherie- I know what you mean if I sleep all night without getting up to anyone I feel worse. Good luck for Friday Lap.
Oops have to go BBL
-
So cannot get motivated today. H was awake at 5am then back to bed at 7:30am and I thought he'd have his normal 2.5 - 3 hr morning sleep and be set for the day but no just a 50min cat nap. He is still tired and a bit grizzly, not sure if it just due to the tiredness or if his teeth are giving him grief :wall:
But I feel zonked, can't get into anything, should be washing, or getting ready to go to mothers group but honestly think we'll stay put today and I'll sleep when Hamish does it try to rest.
This is very unlike me - but atm I can't give a rats about the house etc......
-
hi girls!
sorry that i have been a bad baby buddy!! do a major vent about myself then disappear for a couple of days...
MM: ooh that does sound sore. but like the others have said, i think the eardrums heal well. i would go to GP and just ask the million q's you couldnt ask at the hossy.
MD: LOL! look missing the uni enrolment is a classic. i somehow manage to do it almost every year...almost 8 years at uni! ARRGHHH! I guess because they are used to dealing with absent minded academics there are fail-safe enrolment procedures in place...
Rainy: i hear ya on the shopping front. i can either stay here in the house getting bored or i can go shopping...no brainer LOL! we also have a brand new shop up the road that stocks heaps and heaps of oobi baby!!! i bought some very cool bloomers and singlets for Leila yesterday. and the toys, oh the toys!! i wish i was a millioners wife LOL!
PP: ooh not long til you get to see robson!! i have to say that i cant remember if i saw bubba at the 10 week consult...then again i didnt ask...but every appointment after that he popped me up to have a looksie...then DH would ask a million q's like: which part is the head??? LOL!
sherie: ooh the lap is coming up. wow it is december! Good luck with it all, will be thinking of you sista.
JG: oh that sounds really frustrating re the house! i would be peeved too.
nella: good luck with the HPT. let's hope the headache is worth it LOL!
AFM: well things are starting to settle here. L is on a liquid only diet (has been for the last 48 hours). and this seems to be helping her. making me more tired as we had almosst weaned and now my poor boobies are going nuts. the fever has abated but the nights are still a bit unsettled (nothing like the last week though). basically once we cut out the food, she has been able to sleep a bit more. so once her belly recovers from the snot overload (she had a sinus infection...apparently....had no idea!), we can start her on bland purees and work our way back to normal food.
i am going to attempt chrissy shopping today. will head into the cbd as i am feeling brave. also want to try to get a santa photo done for Leila.
-
Clare, I'm so pleased L is showing signs of getting better and even more that you feel mentally in control (and getting some sleep)! GL with your trip to the city today. BTW are you still planning to come up next week? PM me if you don't have my moby number. xxx
JG - yes! Stay at home and rest if that's what you need to do!
Leanne, your icepack suggestion is a great one for anyone with a toddler! My DD1 was very uncoordinated and spent an entire 2 years running into door frames LOL. We have lots of photos of her with big bruises on her forehead! PMSL.
PAP - great to hear from you hun. Decided to wait until we get to Adel and go on the waiting list over there. The Surgeon here is writing me a referral so I'll save a few weeks of waiting that way.
-
YEEESSSS!! we are still coming. either the monday (unlikely) or the tuesday. DH has to be there on the wednesday...would you be free on wednesday???? i will have the car (oh gawd yes, DH's bright idea to DRIVE up there....).
umm. not sure if i still have the number...i'll check my PM box and if i dont i'll PM you....otherwise i will text you with my number...i sort of have a part time number! LOL!
-
Clare - At least L is on the mend now, sinus infections are not fun. I had one a few months ago and felt horrible. Good luck chrissy shopping in town, is it busy? I drove around at shops last week for 45 minutes trying to find a parking spot, almost gave up. Hope L is good for her chrissy photo. When we come to Melb next week we are planning to take M and her little cousin down to have a santa pic together.
JG - Sounds like a day at home doing nothing is needed today! Are you getting sick or just having a cant be bothered day? How cool does that wedding sound, gonna cost them a bomb though.
Leemar - I had to have a chuckle too at your two boys! Boys being boys!
Pregpan - Glad you are going well.
MD - We also have a few pics of M with big bruises on her forehead. She has a shocker atm and the doctor yesterday even commented on it
Trillian - Ohhhh good luck for Friday!!!!
Arte - Lol at W throwing your hand away! Thats funny. Glad your mud cake turned out well.
Must go, M is still sleeping, so going to do some cleaning before she wakes hopefully.
-
hey everyone
well i had my first taste of ms this morning yuk!! i felt so off like i was going to be sick and i was rushing around with dp because hed woken up when he was supposed to be meeting a client to take him to his job interview eeeek.. it didnt last too long but boy was it gross!! different to dd as i never really got sick in the morning with her that i can remember.. looks like i might vomit this preg if things continue to get worse waaaaaa i never did with asha..
md - thats interesting re the breastfeeding not sure if it would have affected it or not.. i did take her to get it looked at by my gp but he didnt really know anything about it and hes going to get the opinion of a dentist at the childrens hospital so still waiting on that.. he did ask me to ring and rmind him during the week so i will do that today.
clare - glad leila is getting better! goodluck with the santa piccy and shopping!
jg - hope you have a nice rest and hamish settles for a nice long sleep for you!
leanne - aww hope the boys are ok!! the well stocked medicine cabnet and ice packs are a great idea!
pap - glad someone else is really thirsty too! in a nice way hehe.. as i said i got ashas lip looked at but no real outcome as of yet..
trill - yay for the sleep through!!
anyway ladies i must be off to do a little more cleaning while ashas in bed hope everyones having a lovely day :)
-
YESSSSSSS! I will be free on Wednesday. It's a better day than Tues cos on Tues DH is having surgery and I'm getting a needle in my wrist (carpal tunnel thingy).
Noni, aww! Stay away MS!!
-
MD: woot woo!! wednesday it is then luvvy! hey PP will you be around???? ;)
i'll get DH to set in stone our arrival time, and we can organise from there. have to say that i am pretty excited about going to the Canberra centre target...it's the best for baby stuff LOL! how sad is that??
Noni: ooh you poor thing with the m/s. it hit me around 6 weeks last time and wasnt pleasant. i never threw up, but the feeling was there all day....buy some ginger biscuits!
-
lol clare at wanting target at canb centre - do you really think it is good? maybe not for boys??? i can never find anything good
i'd love to see you when yuo are here, as long as i am not working in melb i will try to make it to coffee... then i can see md before she leaves too! boo hoo on the driving, that will SUCK! i coudlnt do that drive with N.no way!
noni - hope the ms doesnt get too bad... mine is a bit better (but still so tired)
md - wtg with the referral - hope that speeds up the process a bit
-
Noni - Yuck you poor thing morning sickness is the pits! I hope it doesnt hit you too hard. I had it with M it was horrible, but the girls at work thought it was pretty funny lol!!
MD - What surgery is your DH having? Ouch you are in the wars lately ;)
Hope you three all meet up, let us know how it goes.
Well I'm glad I kept my doctors appointment today because the doc discovered that the other ear is now quite inflamed. She said it probably happened quickly overnight otherwise the doctor at the hospital would have picked it up. So we've got some antibiotics as well to give to her and then another check up before we fly out. The doctor was like oh my gosh this happened last time when you were going away! That would be right hey!? In the meantime her ear is still discharging puss - sorry if tmi. Oh and MD you were right, she said to me next time explain the situation to the reception girls and they will fit a baby in, rather than having to go down to the hospital. I know for next time.
-
MM sounds like you need to stop planning plane trips so that M doesn't get any more ear infections LOL. xxx Poor little mite.
DH is having boring army-related foot surgery, there's a bit of bone floating around in there that they are going to fish out. I reckon he'll bounce back pretty quickly from it.
-
Morning Ladies
JG: shame on having to move b4 xmas. hope it all works out for you.
MD: LOL on the clothes. Jack does it with Alex's jocks (I make sure they are clean ones though!)
Noni: I was really thirsty with Alex & would down 2 or 3 mizone's a day, regardless the temp.
Hayley: How'd you go with the eardrops? I don't think you are being paranoid esp if you want it sorted b4 going to melb.
Leemar: Oh no at all the accidents & in one day.
Kids Behaviours: Jack hangs onto my necklaces & I think he would like to swing on it if he had the chance to.
Xmas Lunch: We are having lunch with my friend Tracey & they always do the big roast cooked lunch with the various meats & baked vegies.
AFus: Jack has been really grumpy when he's at home but is loving daycare. He's got some teething probs but not sure what tooth it is. Both have been having restless nights thus I'm not getting much sleep & then I've been getting heat headaches thus has been a tiring few days.:wall:
Anyways, i'm off to the dump before heading to town & finishing my mum & step-dad's xmas pres.
-
hi everyone!
nella - did you do a test???
Andie - sounds like a fun xmas... gosh ladies even though i dont do xmas, all this food talk has got me craving a big roast lunch - my mum is here next weekend may have to get her onto that one! YUMMO
Noni - how you feeling?
md and clare - just remembered my date with dr robson is wed, so i am not sure re coffee (2 escapades from work on 1 day would be pushig it)...but let me know the plan and i will do my best. i am working on a big deal atm at work, and it looks like it will fall thru - if so i may have loads of spare time next week... not that iw ill be happy!
MD was laughing re th clothes. This morning N took 2 pairs of my knickers and put them over his head, kind of looked good actually - v stylish like a big scarf!!!
Sherie - how are you feeling re tomorrow
MM - how is M today? what a no flying conspiracy! will you be ok to go to melb (when are you going?)
Did i tell you girls i have to have my NT scan and bloods done in noosa...??? its ok i just hope it doesnt make it harder for my results to come through. i cant wait to get through 12 weeks (9 wks today)
N is walking with his walker so much now, it is delightful!!! i know all your bubs are properly walking but this is a major step for Mr lazy!!! he is doing so many deliciously cute this atm, and is a real chatterbox - i miss him so much when i am at work.
bachelor watchers - have you been watching the wedding plans of bachelorette??
-
Pregpan, W was walking around with a pair of my knickers on his head the other day too lol, I will be sure to hide all my washing piles when we have visitors. He has also started carting around my bras calling them 'balloons'
bbl, he is out of bed
-
Arte - K really associates the couch with feeding - she was pointing at it like crazy when we got home yesterday and DH put her down on it. She was then waiting for me, he was doing silly dances and everything in front of her, trying to distract her, but she was just pointing and watching everything I was doing in the kitchen.
MD and Clare - enjoy your coffee next week.
Trill - good luck tomorrow
Noni - fingers crossed the MS holds off a bit longer
MM - poor little Maddie, hope it clears up before you hop on the plane.
K is getting a bit better. We have been putting the vapouriser on in her room every night and it makes a huge difference to the coughing. Last night DH did it and I was too busy to check on him - so at 3am we hear her coughing away, I was lying in bed thinking, 'I bet it's out of water'. So ended up having to get up and refill it and it took ages for her to get back to quiet sleeping! So Dh is going to get a lesson tonight on how much water to put in - up to the maximum line!! (der!) He also needs a talking to on disciplining K - if she bites me (of course she doesn't bite him) - I put her down, say 'no biting K, not nice' and walk away. He then gives her a big cuddle!!
-
Cally, doesn't it give you the absolute ****s when you tell them off and then DH scoops them up for cuddles!
MM, hope M's ears are all better before you head off to Melbourne.
The big boy bed arrived yesterday, I just need to get some sheets sorted and it will be good to go.
Luckily the constant feeding seems to be abating a bit. I have noticed that my supply has dropped since I started taking the vitex, perhaps it was his natural inclination to feed more to help increase supply? TBH, I wouldn't mind if I ran out of milk completely - I think it is the only way he is going to wean prior to high school.
-
Yeah - and makes them look like the good guys and we're the evil mummies!!
lol at feeding until high school!!
-
oh Arte you crack me up girl!! feeding until highschool he he he!! egad, imagine :o
Cally: oh the poor wee thing. it is awful when they wake-up coughing. but yeah i think your DH learnt an invaluable lesson there!
PP and MD: well if we time it well with robsons appointment maybe we could meet at the yarralumla nursery cafe? that way the kiddies can go nuts in the garden while we sip lattes or cool beverages...
PP: oohhh not long til u see robson!! how exciting!!! oh i hope you'll like him!
AFM all good. Leila is doing the whole 'i'm not tired, nah nah nah zzzzzzz IM NOT TIRED!!!!' routine ATM....so no doubt the next 30 minutes are going to be intereeeesting.
BBL once bugalugs is off in the land of zzzzz....
-
Clare, had a look, I have an appt from 10.45 to about 11.15 so 11.30 would be good. Either Yarra or otherwise Canberra centre if you want to get a headstart on your shopping LOL.
PP I hope you like Robson as well, since I partly recommended him as well. I just thought he oozed compassion so it will be interesting to hear what you think. yay for Noah and his walker, bet he looks pleased as punch with himself!
Bought our Maxirider today, gee you practically need an engineering degree to adjust all the straps etc! LOL The one we had for DD1 is so much simpler! Got the one with the fancy headrest thingy. Black.
Cally oh I agree, don't let the vapouriser run out. Made that mistake when DH was away! Never again LOL.
-
saweet MD those times suit me AOK. hey, i'm on holidays! it will give me time to relish a late brekky...i'm easy either way, love the nostalgia of visiting the ol' digs. i guess if the time is no good for PP we can make it the shopping holy grail that is the canberra centre and have a central meeting place...
oh tell me about the complicated baby stuff. DH gave up on trying to put together the bugaboo. so he left it to his heavily pregnant, hormonal wife. needless to say i GOT THE JOB DONE. he he he. he'll never live that one down!
P.S and why the hey is my ticker no longer working??? did i miss something here????
-
Hi Girls,
Well Xaviers has a whopper of a black eye and its sort of that Dark black colour now... It looks so bad and its so noticable:wall:. He is great it has not bothered him at all. DH is home tomorrow and I can not wait I really missed him this time. Jordy and Livi are great.
PP- I missed something when are you going to noosa?
Art- Lol at W wearing your knickers on his head.
Cally- Glad K is getting better
MM-:hug::hug:
Hello to everyone and sweet dreams to all
-
Once again i am lurking and not posting!
DH is out driving a tractor- yep Trill, a farming widdow, but he is actually sowing atm. Turnips of all things! So hanging out at home, thinking i should be cleaning the house or sleeping but can't be arsed doing either.
Hey MD- how are those gallstones treating you?
Sorry for the lack of input ladies!
ETA- Leanne- the poor little man. Lu fell over yesterday while we were out fencing, and she grazed all up her face and got a blood nose. I hate it when they hurt themselves!
-
Sherie- Good Luck tomorrow I will thinking of you
-
hi everyone,
sorry i havnt been on.. had a few horror days with the sickness but im learning to manage it, have found i deffinately need to eat dinner earlier and it needs to be a smaller plainer meal or im up all night feeling awful.. just trying to eat lots of little things through the day to keep me going.. but of course when i didnt feel sick last night and woke up feeling ok this morning i started to worry haha hopeless!! i also bought some of those sea sickness bands just in case see how we go..
sorry im way too behind to catch up just tryin to pop on and let u all know how its going.. hope everyone is well :)
-
Morning,
Ange- Hope Lu is ok
Noni- Gee MS is the pits. Hope it gets better
All is good here. Daddy comes home today so we are very excited. Kids are all sleeping over at Grandma's for the first time tomorrow night as DH and I have the first of many Xmas party to go to.
Have a wonderful day to all
-
The biting is continuing in our house. She bit my nipple last night at the end of the feed (shehad already bit my hand halfway through!!). Was not impressed. She went in to DH after I put her on the floor and walked away and he gave her the cold shoulder - the crying intensified after that! We had a cuddle afterwards and she gave me big hugs. So the biting continues, but I think she is realising that I mean it when I put her down. Fingers crossed it slows down soon.
Leanne - poor X, will be good to get DH back home.
-
Cally- Hope the biting stops soon. Livi has bitten a few times.
-
Noni, sorry to hear you're feeling so rotten.
Leanne - enjoy the happy reunion!
Cally - OW! It sounds like you're doing all the right things, I hope you see an improvement soon.
Clare, no idea what happened to your ticker? There was a thread a few days back about which tickers are acceptable, maybe find that and have a read?
Arte, how are things across the Tasman? Are you keeping yourself entertained ok?
Rainy, how did the GTT go today?
Ange LOL at sowing turnips! What an unglamourous veggie.
Thinking of Trill today. Hope it all goes well. xxx
-
Sitting at home today wondering why the boys are fighting so much. Jack wants so much to do with Alex & what Alex is doing but Alex wants his space.
Have noticed that Jack has a tendancy to hit Alex when he's in a bad mood, or he hits me playing.
On a diff note, I was sitting on the loung with my feet on the foot stool when Jack climb on the stool & stood up. He lost balance, & fell with his head between my knees & bum in the air.
He has this climing thing for attn cos he knows I don't like it, so when he climbed I caught myself b4 i reacted. Not going to make a big fuss over it & see if it settles.
BBL for personals xox
-
Hi ladies!
Noni - Ohhh you poor thing, I hope this ms passes soon. Hope the bands work, you'll try anything with ms hey!
Cally - Hmm the biting sounds painful. We have been doing much the same as you with this issue, its hard isnt it. Keep at it she will take the hint soon enough.
Andie - Hopefully not reacting to Jack's climing will stop him. As for the hitting out at others, M has started this as well. Funny how fast they grow and begin these little behaviours.
Trillian - Good luck!!!!!
Leemar - Aww glad your DH is coming home!
Just wanted to say, we are coming to Melb next week and the reason why I havent organised a meet up with you Melb girls is because I simply dont think I will have any time free! Knowing how much of an organised person my SIL is, no doubt she will have each day planned out. I hope you didnt think I was being rude and dont want to meet.
Another little behaviour that M has started is yelling/screaming for attention. At home I tend to ignore it and say 'use your indoor voice please', (which I know she doesnt understand yet but one day it will sink in lol!) However at the shops lately she does it. Today I was in posh country road, (usually I dont shop there but I have a voucher) and she was yelling and screaming, it was beginning to get on my nerves and a tad embarrassing. In the change room she got even louder. I tried everything. In the end, I took her hand, gave it a little slap and said 'No yelling'. Ohhhh did she cry. I felt terrible! Is this the right thing for me to do, are there other alternatives? I always told DP I dont want to be a mother who smacks but today I have given her a slap on the hand, I think I let my frustration get the better of me. Its not a hard smack at all but I think she knows it means she's in trouble iykwim.
On the other hand, I discovered today that country road sell kids clothing and I never knew before.....uh oh! :shhh:
Ohh forgot to mention, I am becoming an ebay queen like MD. MD you will be proud, I got an absolute bargain that arrived today. A pair of current season clarks sandals, only worn by the previous child for a month and in great condition for $10 plus $7.80 in postage!! Bargain considering the lady paid $60 odd. They fit M perfectly.
Also our marquee that we bought for our wedding (cheaper to buy off ebay than hire can you believe) arrived today. The guy came to my door saying 'your exercise bike is here'. Huh!? Soon figured out it wasnt my exercise bike, it was meant for someone else, it was our marquee hahaha! Could have ended up with a bike instead!!
-
Hayley: LOL on the bike. Glad it was sorted quick.
Once method I've read is that if they tanty's in a shop (or anywhere) to take them out & take them home & if you keep it up they should learn. Haven't tried it myself, cos its too much hassle for me to go back out.
Jack was standing on the table again trying to get my attn when he got Alex's & Alex wanted to climb on the table, bumped Jack & Jack dived into the floor
But Alex helped settle him & gave him a kiss on the head.
BBS .. phone ringing

Hi ladies,
Hamish seems to be turning into a little boy overnight..... He sings and does the actions to the hokey pokey, twikle twikle little star and itsy bitsy spider. Walking and talking more each day, he can say bird, ball, ballon, more please and the usual mum, dad, nan, op etc................. I think he's very clever :clap:
He's been a bit clingy towards me at the moment. Is this an age thing, anyone else experiencing this. He won't let Joel do much for him if Im around, mummy do he almost says or just whinges till I do.
Hope the surgery went well Sherie and your resting at home dear.
Hope your feeling better soon Noni - I know what you mean about worrying if the sickness goes away, we can't win hey ?
Madsmum - its hard to know whats best to do hey ? I have tapped Hamish hand before before it didn't seem to do the trick so I usually do the distraction thing but that can be hard if not impossible while out shopping. I keep a stash of books and small toys under his pram that he only sees once in a blue moon and try to distract him into playing with those. Sometimes it works , sometimes it doesn't. Arn't the CR kids clothes cute.....pricey but very cute indeed.
Andie - hope the boys had a nice afternoon for you. Alex sounds so sweet !
Hi MD :hello:
Cally - Im sure the biting thing will pass soon enough. Could it be a teething thing or is it more of a frustration thing do you think ? Hamish has pulled my hair a couple of times out of frustration - I wish I knew the answer to this too.
Leemar - Enjoy your christmas party and congrats on DH being home. Have a lovely weekend with the family.
Hi Falguni - Hi dear, how you been feeling ?
Cassius - Enjoy your holiday dear, are you guys heading away or just chilling at home ?
Joel is working tonight but I really need to go get organised. His sister and her 4 girls are coming to stay for the weekend. I need to make spare beds and clean the guest bathroom. I sooooo do not feel like doing that after working all day and just doing the dinner/bath & bed thing with Hamish. I could easily sleep for a week I reckon.
Hope you all have a great weekend. Talk soon.
-
Wow I've missed a lot!
JG L's the same.. I'm hoping its an age thing and passes soon! I've had either carry or sit him on my lap all day!
Andie that's cute that Alex kissed Jacks head :)
MM hope you have a good time in Melb! L screams for attention too.. I've no idea what to do with him so usually just walk away.. Thankfully he hasn't done it while out!
Sorry can't see any other posts right now and I can't for the life of me remember anything...
I took the HPT and it was a BFN :( sorry to keep you all waiting. We had fish and chips tonight and L absolutely loved it! He ate quite a bit of fish and of course his beloved chips hehe
-
hi girls!!
MD: thanx for the tips...i'll hunt down the thread and change my ticker ways...
Nella: sorry to hear that it was a bfn. can be a bit of a slap in the face, if only they could come up with a nicer way of saying no.
mmm fish and chips...
JG: ooh i know, they really are becoming little people arent they?!!! i love it, love seeing their gorgeous little selves appear.
we are going to be hanging around melbourne. we have an invite to a friends house for xmas day so that should be nice (ie not feel too abandoned!). we will be off to tasmania in the new year for a family holiday (we figure we should get one in before we become chained to a mortgage)...that's the plan anyway! what about you guys???
Noni: eewwww morning sickness is the pits. i managed to avoid the vomiting with Leila...have you christened the bowl yet?? LOL!
AFM: well i have bit the bullet and will be getting us a 'my wee ride' for xmas. kinda a joint xmas pressie for the family. i cant really ride with leila on the back, she is constantly getting herself into all sorts of inexplicable positions on the back and i can only turn around occasionally. i tried out a friends wee ride with L in it and we both loved it. so here it goes....
-
Sorry to hear of your BFN Nella - Hope next month will be the one for your guys
Cassius - Your plans sound great. I've never been to tassie but have heard it is lovely. I have about ten days off while the courts shut down, we will try to go away for a few days when we have Georgia probably get a beach cabin down the central coast which is not too far to travel but has heaps of fun things to do closeby.
We are doing the big family lucheon at our place (whereever that may be atm with the move and all) but I love it and don't see it as a chore at all. I love christmas baking etc...
Joel and I are slipping away for 2 nights on the 16th /17th Dec though cos its my birthday and we always try to go away for B'days. So looking forward to it, relax, sleep in and a little fine dining I think will be on the agenda :dance:
Yes the little personality is cute to watch develop. isn't it Hamish has the exact same sense of humour as Joel, they are already feeding off each other in the jokes and pranks department (god help me in a few years). They both make me smile and laugh everyday. Hamish is very sweet and affectionate but at the same time has a wicked sense of humour and is very playful.
-
We nearly fell of the bottom of the page!!
JG, it is so amazing how quickly they grow isn't it! W can put his shoes on by himself now, such a big boy.
Nella, sorry about the HPT, hope you have a lucky december again.
MM, :comfort: sounds like it is hard going with Maddies tanties! I don't have any ideas of what to do in that situation. Well done on the ebay bargains.
MD, yip, keeping myself entertained over the ditch. I think today we are going to buy a house lol. It is el cheapo but has lots of potential. It is so flippin hot, I haven't had a north Island summer for about 8 years and forgot how penetrating the sun is. You step outside and it feels like you are starting to frizzle like pork crackling.
Cally, hope the biting stops soon. W has been biting my boob a bit lately too, what makes it worse he does it with a huge grin on his face, the little bugger.
Trill, hope yesterday went well and you are feeling o.k
W's newest trick is to come over to me yelling 'MUMMA MUMMA MUMMA' and holds out his hand to give me something - a fly. It either flies away and he goes away with a big smile to catch me another or it falls to the ground and he looks sad and says 'ut-oh' lol

PMSL Arte. Hmmm, feeling a bit bored?...let's got and BUY A HOUSE!! LOL Man I am sooo impressed with W's fly-catching skills. I'm obviously not training E to be useful enough LOL.

HaHa MD, the fly catching sounds impressive but he is far from Mr Miyagi plucking them from the air with chop-sticks - he just stands at the sliding door and catches the slow dumb ones lol
