hi girls!

Rainy: oh big hugs comin' your way . I guess this trip for your DH was a really big emotional vortex for him, and unfortunately with a bit of happy juice in his belly, the built up anxiety about the front-off with his mum found an avenue of 'expression' at the local pub. it really sux, i am sorry that it had to happen. i hope that he is ok and the court hearing goes as well as possible.

on the mil front, it sounds like at least there is some finality at the very least. yay for your dh and your family! it must have been scary laying it out to her like that.

Sherie: yep we have one of the moron farm mob in our family. the have a dairy farm and are sooooo careless about chemicals and machinery it's not funny. they never (!) got rid of the outlawed stuff and it sits there still today. the number of 'accidents' they have had is not funny. i refuse to go there now, and miss L will never see the place. i have been to well managed farms and i know how good it can be, so seeing our family's place makes me sick. they think they are being tough and the like living the way they do...urrghh.

MD: woot woo on the dyson buy!! i saw on telly the other day that they were doing a 399 price!! how awesome is that?!!! i love my dyson.

Leanne: i hope you all have a wonderful time! you'll have to fill us in on the details (Including the flight management strategies LOL!). i am sooo jealous!!!!
in all honesty, it will be better than you think. the boys will probably be soo excited in the airport, that from what i have seen they kinda get tuckered out once the plane has taken off. you also get LOADS of freebies for the kids (colouring books and crayons). they'll love the little travel packs. also, there will be movies for them to watch and you are constantly being fed by the hostesses so that always provides cheap entertainment. you might find that they become obsessed with going to the toilet (so i recommend asking for a seat only a couple of rows from the toilet...sounds unappealing, but i soo prefer to be closer than far away and not knowing what the cue is like!! some good entertainment strategies is also trips to the water fountain (again near the toilets). they can fill up on loads of small cups of water LOL!
I also recommend packing a surprise bag for each of them (including bubs!). stuff they have never seen before and can be slowly brought out to entertain them.
other than that, lots of stoicism on your behalf and maybe some champagne! LOL!

AFM: not much happening here. L is teething (we think) as she is chewing on everything atm. and has been waking in the night.
we are pretty tired as a result, so have been trying to occupy ourselves out of the house as despite the glorious weather our poky vic terrace is dark as night....
