Noni, fantastic that your bestie is on her way! I'm sure all those last little things will be easy and quick once you've got her there with you.
Supa, thanks for your PM. Bit far for my haircut but we will definitely work on a coffee date.
PP - excellent words of wisdom for MM. I too have total kitchen envy (TKE). My friend has a lovely white & groovy pastel one that just gets played with and played with and played with!
MM, like PP said, say what you need to but try to get zen in yourself. But definitely find out about the spa cover! It needs to be rock solid child-proof.
Agnes, how excellent to see you my dear! Yep Rainy's due to have her bub any day now, we're all so excited about it! I bet W had a blast with his grandparents. Happy birthday by the way !
Rainy, hope all's good up on the mountain. Good for you having cheer-up Maccas LOL.
Ange, no of course you're not a whinger, I think you are coping fantastically well, all things considered. Glad your DH got a cleaner. Lots of Vic ladies offered to help through the message thread, maybe now is a good time to accept some offers of help? Sorting and organising is soooo much easier when you can just sit there pointing while someone else does all the hard labour! LOL
Trill - pro-wrestling party - woohoo. Bet they all had an excellent time! Glad your blood results keep coming back good. BTW - what time off uni?? have re-enrolled and classes start again this week! LOL Sucker for punishment.
Clare, I had a giggle when I read Rainy asking how Leila is pronounced. My very first public bellydancing performance was to a song that goes "Leila leila"...LOL. I still have it on CD so I could send it to you so you can hum along to the tune with me LOL.
Just posting so you can all see how hot i am....... Trillian? Did you have anything to do with my hotness? eh? I am pretty stoked by it all.
MD- Yeah, now would be a good time, problem is we are a loooong way from anyone. It is a good couple of hours drive from Melbourne. But i do have 3 girlfriends coming up on the weekend to help. They are going to sort out all the clothes so that will be great. They all have OCD, so sure to do a better job than i would! I have been told i am only allowed to sit and instruct. Pretty sure i'll be good at that.
Had OB appointment today. BP good, baby engaged. Good to go. OB was a little concerned about the 2 hr drive to Melb, but just told me to be prepared to divert to a closer hossy if necessary.
gotta be quick but i was coming on to tell Ange how HOT she is IRL - well in the pics i just saw that chrissy took. you look stunning!!! spunky family you have too....
i will be back later girls - time for N's bath and is hair washing night so not looking fwd to it.
xxx
MD: OOOH! that song sounds awesome!! I would love to have some 'leila' songs that aren't all about eric clapton LOL!
what are you studying? and yes, you are a sucker for punishment!
I have kitchen envy all over the shop....ah renting, one dodgy oven to the next...
Ange: totally hot. in fact, i may start to develop avvie envy!
Rainy: ohh waa! love the mini kitchen idea! lucky L! i saw one the other day and it looked so cute. may have to put that on the birthday list...it's already getting long LOL!
Noni: hi girl! glad to hear that the wedding plans are underway! It will be so weird once it's over...you'll need a holiday LOL!
AFM: well it appears that i am SICK again. and yes, it is so the tonsils again. i am so frikkin over it i feel like curling up under my doona and not coming out until someone walks in with some morphine and a scalpel and says: 'let me at 'em'. that's it. this girl has had enough already.
*phew* rant over.
Leila is all good. she is bouncing back, but missed her nap today so is already in the land of zzzzz. ATM her fav word is 'please' (pliz). usually when begging for grapes. the child will eat nothing else
ummm that's about it. a mothers group day so just sipped lattes while the kidlets ran amok creating 'art' at the local cafe (they supply the butchers paper and crayons and we supply the artists).
Oh No Clare - your BLOODY tonsils... surely you must have a case to get the blighters out. i really feel for you honey, hope DH is doing lots to make you feel better. Sounds like a fun day with your fabulous mum's group.
Noni - good to see you - wow in a couple of weeks you will be married. wow. i am glad you rfriend is on her way to you now, i was thinking about her when the fires hit warburton.
wanted to ask you all (those with babies having bottles) how many a day you give. N has 2 - morning and night but this week i am working on dropping the morning bottle.
hmm not sure how tinight will be, i have had to settle him once adn he just yelled out in his sleep - think the teeth are upsetting him poor little thing.
PAP - Ohh thanks so much for your wise words. I know exactly what you mean, I'm just finding it hard to change my attitude towards my MIL. She hasnt emailed me back but she sent me a fwd, so no doubt she has my email but I wont get a reply. I know she thinks I am being over the top, but then again she never see's anything from my point of view. I am going to try & relax about it all, I'm sure M will be fine. As for bottles, M is still on 2 - 3 a day. Morning, night time & occassionaly a small arvo one. When do we start dropping them all together?
Clare - You poor thing those tonsils need to come out already.
Falguni - Bub engaged how exciting, good luck. What special friends you have.
Rainy - I agree, your dad is soooo lovely, he sounds like he dotes over L big time. What a cool granddad!
Noni - Good luck with your wedding, glad your plans are all coming together. There is so much to think about isnt there?
