go rainy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yay!!!!! i cant wait to see the birth announcement!!!!!!!!
OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG!!!!!!! I'm gonna be like a cat on a hot tin roof all night waiting to hear news ROFL. I'm so excited for her!
Oh, then hand thing. I was outside and tripped over one of the kids' scooters and put my arm out to break my fall and hurt my hand. It's really good today though.
Had a long day - dropped Paige off at preschool, did the groceries, brought a new laptop (went with Toshiba in the end MD, Dell didn't impress me at all with the customer service when I called to make inquiries and you only get one chance to impress me ROFL) and came home to set it up, then had to go back to town to pick Paige up and then go to the pool to wait for the other kids to come for after school activites (its a program they run and I help supervise) and then we had to get Erin some school schools and then came home. I am really tired......
MD I just read your other thread, how are you feeling?
Trillian glad the hand is feeling better. No wonder your tired sound slike you have been flat stick all day.
MM well who is a spoilt girl then lol. Now I want a facial. I cant believe your getting married next week, you had better have some photos online ASAP.
PP how did N sleep last night? L is a very sensitive little man too and always cuddles em when I am crying, its so cute. I can imagine how much of a comfort he was your his FDC lady.
I am still in love with me sea bands, they are pretty tight though and I have a bruise on my wrist starting to come up. I am so excited for Rainy and keep checking on here and checking my phone for a text. I cant wait to hear the news.
OMG I'm sooo excited for Rainy. I nearly texted her in my driveway yesterday evening because I was so sure she'd go off today...except my phone was flat. LOL
MM I can't believe it's next week already!! :)
AFM thanks for asking Katie - highs and lows - alternating between total calm and sheer panic. Trying to get zen.
Well let me do all the panicing and worrying for you OK and you just stay zen. I'm really worried about you and I just feel helpless, like I should do something for you, kwim? I know that this is just early days, but you're one of my best buds ya know?
Major hugs MD, I know it will be fine.
OMG OMG Rainy!!! Gosh we are all so excited arent we lol. Anyone heard anything?
Oz - What are sea bands?
Trill - Yay on the new laptop! Yes I agree with you, impress me the first time or seeya lol
Ohhh Trillian beautifully said :(

Hello to everyone and again Congratulations Rainy
I know its such a cool name!! Well done again.
Leemar - Oh the kids will have a ball dancing! Your hair sounds so nice, I'm getting mine done next week. Makes you feel so good getting your hair done.
hi all
my mum arrives tonight - YAY, someone to watch N when he wakes in the morning and I can have a little lie in
well the big news here is that..... N took his 1st steps today. he just a-framed in the middle of the room and took about 5 steps. shocked himself i think! anyway i am sure he is still a way off regularly walking but i was excited!!!
MD how are you doing my dear?
i still have goospebumps about rainy
went to visit a friend and her 2 day old bub today - in shock how small they are!! (this one was exactly N's birthweight too)
OMG PP!!! That's so exciting! He will be walking fulltime before you know it - and then you'll know it ROFL, just kidding. It will be great for him, and easier on you to have him walking. Definately make the most of your Mum visiting too. And you do forget how little they were dont' you? not that I ever had little babies ROFL, but they are still tiny when you are used to dealing with toddlers and older kids.
thanks sherie - i know everyone keeps telling me how much more work it will be when he walks.. though when i had to CARYY him arond the petting zoo for about an hour today i must say i was thinking i will be fine with him walking!! anyway, we are a way off yet, i am sure these baby steps will last a while.. but it is exxciting. i am sad dh is away and missed it, but glad it happened on a home with mummy day not at FDC.
PP woo hoo for N, thats great news. He will be off and running before you know it.
Rainy's news set me up for a happy day today. I am just coming down of my high now lol and thats only because I am tired.
Oz I've been having a happy day too after Rainy's news. Always exciting when a new little person enters the world.
PAP - YAYYYYY! Thats excellent news on N taking steps. Its funny, it doesnt take them long once they realise they can move faster. Then they start running....then you end up chasing them in the opposite direction to which you wanna go in the shopping center, with them screaming in excitement at the game of chasey  LOL sorry not trying to be depressing, its lovely when they walk.
Girls I feel bad about my MIL *****ing....you should see the wedding cake she has made us, its awesome!
LOL PP, it has both its pros and cons, but when you're pg again it's so much easier if you don't have to bend that far to pick them up. It will be great for your DH to come home to though and see his little man up and about.
H, you'll have to post a pic for us. I guess it was probably her way of making things right again too, so don't worry about what's happened, because you can't change it, but just look forward to the future. I can't believe this time next week will be your WEDDING DAY!!! It's terribly exciting.
How's the bleeding going now Katie? You'll have to try to get a nanna nap in today
OMG, i have been so slack!
anyway ... ex is here ... don't know why cos he's not "talking" other than to say he's hit a low point & he's working to fix his life ... but asked me the most stupided Q ... who are they Boy's father!! :o ... cos neither of them look like him & alex has fair skin! OMG
anyway ... back later
Oh it is fantastic PAP, once they walk its amazing, its hard to believe not so long ago they were newborns not moving around & now they are off exploring new things with their new skills.
Trill - I KNOW! DP & I are SO excited but SO nervous iykwim!! Got the hens & bucks night tonight - I told my sisters no doodles haha.
I wonder how Rainy is going with her new baby boy? Cant stop thinking about her & how happy she must be to now have two beautiful boys.
MD - How are you going? When is your next appt?
Oz - Hope the spotting has died down?
Andie - Ohhhh NO!!! How rude of him to ask such a thing! Oh you poor thing. Was that the final straw, or can you see potential for this relationship? Good luck I really do hope it all works out for you.
Hayley, how silly of me, you are getting married on my b'day! how awesome.
I was expecting it kind of TBH, cause I had heard stories bout his family believing Alex isn't his. TBH, it has been over on my end for about 3 weeks now. I've had enough of the way he treats me & the disrespect he shows. I asked him to clear up another lie & when he did, i got so angry i picked up a plastic bowl & threw it at him, grrrr. Anyways. Onward bound we go ...
just watching Jack turn on my new digi & is taking pics now! hehe
Am hoping eveyone is having a lovely weekend :)
hi girls, i'm back!!!
thanks for all your messages, i got all teary reading them all :)
i'm back home from hospital, checked out at 10am this morning.
Jimmy is absolutely beautiful, he's gorgeous looking with lots of thick dark brown hair and big blue eyes and justin's nose :)
he is soooo tiny, we just can't believe how small he is. he's so fragile. he's fitting into 000 wondersuits (lewis was straight into 00).
he's breastfeeding like an old pro atm, still waiting for my milk to come in though.
i'm recovering so well, i honestly can't believe it. i feel better than i have for months! my perenium (sp?) is completely intact- no stiches, or tearing or even a graze! it's fantastic. i'll tell you more about it all later, just wanted to check in on you all and tell you how happy we are. lewis has been absolutely fantastic btw, he seems really happy and comfortable and has been hugging and ooohhing and aaahing at jimmy the same way that he does at my dad's cat!?! very cute see. it's great to be able to pick lewis up again. i'll pop back in later tonight, hopefully some of you will be around! :)
eta- Arte, i'm so sorry but my text message to you was rejected! i felt so bad, i must have typed the number into my phone wrong xoxo
Hi Rainy, glad all is well & congrats on Jimmy xox
*squeals* G! So great to see that you're over the moon happy. He sounds divine - I bet he smells just gorgeous too, I miss that newborn smell LOL. Sounds like he will have quite different colouring to Lewis. And woohoo on the great birth too - can't wait to hear more about that when you're ready to share. Were you surprised at him being so small?
Andie, if that were me having to listen to that, I would seriously have kicked him in the nuts!! That is such an insult to you and just because he's at a low point in his life, that doesn't mean that he can excuse himself as their father by asking you such a question.
ROFL H at no doodles - I hope that doesn't mean you are getting great big ...... instead ;) Have a great time and i tomorrow morning is kind to you.
Hi Girls!
welcome home Rainy!! ooh it must be so good to get home and show jimmy his new digs LOL!
MM: oooh do post a pic of the cake and all that jazz of the wedding! we do love a good wedding photo squizz!
PP: ah, exciting that you mum is coming and can help out a bit and YAY! for N taking those steps. for leila it took about 2 weeks to really find her feet and walk 24/7 ITMS.
AFM: wellllllll. let me tell you i have had a SHOCKER. have been in hospital since friday. i literally got of BB and felt really bad from the tonsilitis. at about 2am on saturday morning emergency (after ignoring me for approx 8 hours) told me that they couldnt do anything that the gp couldnt sent me packing. i returned about 6 hours later, unable to see, barely talk, vomiting and unable to stand. so you can imagine that the potential lawsuits must have flashed in their brains! so i was dealt with by the deputy director of emergency this time for them to find that my heart rate was sky high, i was severley dehydrated to the point that my veins had pretty much shrivelled into little prune like stems LOL! and my blood pressure had gone whacko. so was admitted and put on heart machines and pumped full of drugs and the bits and bobs through IV. (of course it took 3 attempts and 4 people to actually get the cannula in as my poor veins had gone on holiday). so yeah, have just got home an hour ago. i feel much better still very dizzy but at least i can walk. they told me that i had to be wheeled up there (cannae remember for the life of me LOL!). and i am very tired. have lots of drugs to take now and will have to see a specialist this week to see where we go from here...hopefully the big chop will be done. so want it!
and all this on our FIRST wedding anniversary. :wall:
Leila has been a champ through it all. our neighbours with toddlers took her in for the day and night and she had a ball. but was still stoked to visit me this morning in hospy.
Rainy!!!!!!!!! - I'm soooo happy for you. Congratulations!!!! I can't wait to see photos of Jimmy - makes me all clucky! Way to go on no tearing - great news.
Pp - that's great that N has taken his first steps. Wait until he's trying to climb the side gate like Hannah was doing this morning. I hope you get some nice sleep ins :)
Clare - OMG! you poor dear, that is absolutely horrible! Your poor dh must have been beside himself with worry. I hope you're feeling super very soon, and that the specialist can wave his magic wand and make sure you never feel like that again.
I'm feelin unwell, but feel bad even saying it after reading your post Clare. Think i should just drink a concrete milkshake and harden up!
Once again i have missed out on so much, hopefully i can keep up from now.
i spotted a post from Supa - how are you going?
Trill ... i don't understand why he even had to ask it, but yeah, just goes to show how much influance his family has over him!
Clare ... OMG hun, hope you are feeling better & that something gets down quickly for you.
Clare you poor thing that sounds horrible!! They need to take those tonsils out ASAP! Good old L for hanging with the neighbours, how handy that you have them.
Rainy YAY welcome back from the hospy with your precious new bundle! I am so happy that you are so happy!! Well done on no tearing thats a relief. I am looking forward to hearing all about your labour.
Jaz - I'm clucky too, will you go for a fourth?
Andie - So sorry that your ex and his family feel that way about A. How insulting! :(
Better go, the in laws are here for the weekend.................SOS!
Congrats again Rainy, so glad to here that things went well and that you are settling in nicely.
PP - way to go on the steps for N, there will be no stopping him shortly.
Clare - OMG you poor thing...what an adventure for you. Hope you feel better soon after getting those nasties out.
Andie - hugs...his question just makes your decision extremely validated now.
MM - Woohoo...how was the hens night? And 6 sleeps to go until you're a MRS!
Jaz - Haha on the milkshake. I tell people to take a teaspoon of cement and harden up but might have to borrow the milkshake line just to vary it a bit.
Hows everyone else? Trill...MD....Oz. All okay?
We're good here...Sarah is still not 100%. Dr said a ear and throat infection so will take her back tomorrow to see if its improving or not.
BBL...
Kate - poor little Sarah :( i hope she's feeling better real soon. How is she sleeping at night?
MM - 3 is it for us. I think if i was younger (i'm......37!!!!) i'd push for a 4th. Not because I'd have liked a boy, just that i love being a Mummy, and going through pregnancy etc is so wonderful.
I'm so looking forward to hearing all about your wedding and seeing some pics. I love a good wedding!!!
Hannah has slept through the night for the past 3 nights! I get quite a suprise when i wake up and i'm in my own bed! (i then quickly get up to check on her)
I'm a bit scared mentioning it actually, just in case she reverts to waking up through the night again.
i just jumped on to say good luck to MD for tomorrow - been thinking of you.. I hope the appt goes ok...
but now i seerainy is back - yay! it sounds wonderful honey, i cant wait to hear everything. but fo rnow enjoy little J and your whole family - wow wow wow!
Clare - that is just awful - so scary. they really have to do something for you now... i hope you are feeling better soon and L is maybe able to take some time off to help? rest up and then get the tonsils sorted babe.
wil be back tomorrow - dh is back (YAY!!) but i am exhausted so cant even think to write LOL!
Yeah, Jazah, I'm 35 again too - :p - not getting any younger! Well done to Missy H on her excellent sleeping! I think I need some of your concrete milkshake right now - make mine chocolate flavour thanks.
Rainy - soooo lovely to hear from you hun, sounds like you're riding the baby bliss wave!
Clare - OMG - that is totally awful, that makes me so cranky that the emergency dept dismissed you the first time - but TBH they probably have that many flakey-not-really-that-ill ppl come through...Soooo glad they are taking it all seriously and so glad you've got the specialist appt this week - hope it all gets sorted soon. Really feeling for you re the veins - mine are shockers and it's *always* a drama. I wish I could just get a tap or something implanted permanently in my arm LOL. See I should've just flown over with my kit and sorted you out last week. LOL xxx
Ande - how rude of your ex - what planet has he been living on? I agree it sounds like someone else has been in his ear.
MM well I was having a giggle about your MIL's wedding cake - all gorgeous until you bite into it and turns out in the middle it's.....FRUITCAKE PMSL!
PP thanks for asking, my appt is on Thurs. Trying to keep myself distracted any way I can until then.
Had the CT scan on Sat am - glow in the dark MD - LOL - and you think the GTT drink is bad - it's not a patch on so-not-strawberry radioactive punch. The guys were fantastic even though my veins were a problem (like usual). Gorgeous dr-lady squeezed my hand when I "had a moment". That act of kindness is still sustaining me a day later.
Well I had a HUGE day today, selling all of my baby gear at the Baby & Kids market. Actually must have sold an awful lot because I made over $400 and only had the bebepod, breastfeeding pillow, baba sling, pram (sold it for $50 haha) and no other big ticket items. All the other stall holders complained about not selling many clothes, I think it's because everyone was spending their $$ at my stall. LOL. I was wheeling and dealing and really enjoying seeing ppl loving their bargains LOL. Anyway, only got 2 boxes left over to go to Vinnies, plus the cradle and the ergo (will sell on ebay) so all good there! LOL
Hi Marydean - way to go at the market! That's a fantastic result. Did you feel a little emotional as you were selling things?
PP - you must be so excited about dh being home tomorrow. Sweet dreams :)
Ange - I just saw your beautiful photos on Chrissy Torney's Blog, they are just gorgeous. You bump looks beautiful, and Lulu is such a cutie.
